Usagi and the gang were over at Rei's house. However, it wasn't for their usual study session. The teens had told the cats their report of what happened at the Game Center Crown to Luna and Artemis, hoping that they would make sense of the event.

"So, this Daimon just appeared in the middle of broad daylight?" puzzled Artemis. "That seems a bit strange."

"I agree," said Luna. "It seems way too bold even for them, and there wasn't anyone controlling it either, just like what happened in the mountains."

"I doubt that the enemy's getting sloppy; otherwise, they wouldn't have realized a Daimon like that in public," said Ami. "There has to be an ulterior motive. But the question is what?"

"If only we had something else to go on," said Makoto.

"Hold on. I just remembered something," said Minako. "Remember the recent Daimon's victim? It was a girl from Mugen Academy."

Usagi was puzzled. "And... what does that have to do with anything?" she wondered.

"There was another girl from Mugen Academy that was attacked, back when we followed Rei in the resort on her birthday," explained Minako. "Now, I could be wrong, but that seems too much of a coincidence to me."

"Are you suggesting that Mugen Academy has something to do with the recent attacks?" asked Harusuke. "That's a pretty bold assumption, and yet it makes sense."

"Yeah. Now that you mention it, it does sound a bit fishy," said Rei. "Maybe the two incidents are connected somehow, and Mugan Academy does have something to do it."

"Then, we're all in agreement," said Minako. "We'll start investigating Mugen Academy as soon as we can."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

After a while, Usagi and Harusuke made it back to their home, where Ikuko was waiting for them in the kitchen.

"We're home!" the Tsukino siblings announced.

"Welcome home, you two," greeted Ikuko. "You two were out pretty late. Where were you two?"

"Just our usual study session, Mom," said Harusuke. "We were studying so much that we lost track on time."

Just then, they heard Chibiusa, who was speaking to someone on the phone.

"OK. That sounds great, Mamo. Thanks. I'll see you tomorrow."

The moment she heard Chibiusa mention Mamoru's name, Usagi's ears perked up. Chibiusa hung up the phone, and was about to walk out of the room, when Usagi grabbed her by the scruff of her uniform, stopping her.

"Hey, Chibiusa, what was with that phone call?!" demanded Usagi. "Why were you talking to Mamo, and what's tomorrow?!"

Chibiusa slyly grinned at her. "You really want to know?" she asked, playing innocent. "Well, I'm ain't telling. It's my little secret. You'll never know."

As she made a face at her, Usagi grew all the more irritated and angry. At that moment, the two ordangos began to tussle, Usagi trying to get Chibiusa to talk, while Chibiusa refused to tell, much to the chagrin of Harusuke and Ikuko. Finally, Ikuko scooped up Chibiusa away from Usagi, having enough.

"That's enough! Why are you two always at each other's throats all the time?!" Ikuko spoke sternly. "Chibiusa is going to the amusement park with her friends after school tomorrow, but I can't take her because I have to attend a Women's Association meeting. Therefore, with everything that's been happening lately, I asked Mamoru if he could chaperone, which was why Chibiusa was calling him."

"Wait, which amusement park are they going to, Mom?" wondered Harusuke. "Dream Land's quite a long ways from here if you mean that one."

"Actually, there's going to be a grand opening of one near Mugen C Park," said Ikuko. "They're opening it to select people, and Chibiusa's class got chosen to go as a field trip."

"We're going to ride the Mugen C Park roller coaster together!" Chibiusa spoke excitedly. "Just Mamo and me!"

But Usagi was indignant, her eyes burning with jealousy. "What?! Chibiusa's going to an amusement park with Mamo?! That's so no fair! I want to go too!"

Harusuke then spoke in Usagi's ear, so that only she could hear her. "Come on, Usagi. You know that we already made plans for tomorrow," he said. "We were supposed to investigate Mugen Academy, remember?"

"But Harusuke, I want to go with Mamo!" Usagi whined in a pout. "I'm going to miss out on all the romantic rides with him!"

"Look, Sis, I get it, but you already promised, so you can't back out," scolded Harusuke. "Besides, if you think about it, it's not like we're going to be far away from him and Chibiusa. The Mugen C Park is at Sankakusu, and Mugen Academy is over at Mugenzu. In other words, those two places are right next door to each other."

Usagi pout disappeared. "I get it! So, if we need Mamo, then he can come to us in a heartbeat!" she said with a smile. "Good idea, Bro!"

"I'll let him know first thing tomorrow morning, and tell him to keep in touch," said Harusuke. "Just try not to get too green with jealousy, OK?"

The grand opening soon came the next day. People from all over Juuban came to enjoy everything the park had to offer. Chibiusa and her class were having a splendid time, enjoying themselves on the rides as well as the food. While they were having fun, Mamoru was sitting at a table taking a break while another boy with brunette hair kept him company. This boy was one of Mamoru's friends from a different school named Ittou Asanuma, and here per Mamoru's request.

"I'm sorry that you had to give up your free time for my sake, Ittou," apologized Mamoru. "I appreciate you coming along with us."

"It's no problem at all. I'm happy to help you," smiled Ittou. "Besides, seeing these kids on the rides makes me want to go on them, too. You want to give the roller coaster a try, while I wait for the kids?"

"N-No thanks. That stuff's not for me," Mamoru spoke, slightly nervous. "It's nice of you to offer, though."

Just next to them, Kyuusuke and two other boys watched as Chibiusa and Momo rode on the roller coaster.

"Man! That's their second ride in a row!" complained Kyuusuke. "Are they going to ride that thing all day?!"

Mamoru glanced over at the boys, feeling a bit bad for their impatience, and decided to help them out. "Say, you boys are Chibiusa's friends, am I right? How's about I get you guys some lemonade? My treat."

Kyuusuke and the boys were thrilled. "All right!"

Mamoru then got up and went off to buy the boys some lemonade.

Meanwhile, on the roller coaster, Chibiusa and Momo were riding the roller coaster, enjoying the twists, turns, and speed. Chibiusa was wearing a floppy sunhat that whipped and flapped about from the wind. Then came trouble. As the roller coaster dipped downwards, the wind from the speed crept under her hat, and lifted it up and away towards the ground below. When the ride was over, as she and Momoko exited the ride, Chibiusa took off to search for her hat.

"Momo, I'll be right back!" Chibiusa said to Momoko. "I have to go find my hat!"

"Hold on, Chibiusa, let me go with you," said Momoko. "We can find it together."

"It's okay. Besides, I saw where it fell, and it's pretty close by," insisted Chibiusa. "You go ahead and have fun. I'll be fine. It shouldn't take me too long."

Before Momoko could answer, Chibiusa scampered away, leaving her behind. Now, Momoko knew that Chibiusa going off on her own was very dangerous, and she couldn't help but worry. So, she went to get some help. She ran all the way back to Mamoru's table, where he, along with the rest of the boys, were enjoying their lemonade. Mamoru was surprised when he saw Momoko by herself.

"Momoko, where's Chibiusa?" he asked. "I thought that she was with you."

Momoko then explained what had happened, and Mamoru couldn't help but be alarmed.

"Her hat flew off, and she left the park to go get alone?!" Mamoru exclaimed. He turned to Ittou. "I'm leaving you in charge, Ittou. Watch the kids for me!"

And Mamoru dashed away, leaving a very perplexed Ittou along with the kids behind.

At the same time, Usagi and her group now stood outside of the steps of Mugen Academy. There were hardly any students around, and it was so quiet, almost no sound could be heard. The building itself was large, about several stories, and was a bit fancier in design. There were also a couple of security guards standing outside and even cameras mounted on some building areas.

"So this is Mugen Academy," murmured Ami, as she took out her mini-computer, looking up information. "From what I can gather, it's a school consisting of a kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school, and even college and university and graduate school. They've produced sports stars, entertainment professionals, and other highly accomplished persons in different fields. Their education system alone has garnered a lot of attention, even the news media."

"Not only that, but the location is right in the middle of Sankakusu, which is the center of the Tokyo Bay Land Reclamation Project," said Harusuke. "The three reclaimed sites are known as Tenohzu, Kaiohzu, and Meiozhu, which together form a triangle where Sankakusu gets its name. And right in the center of it all, is the Mugenzu District, where Mugen Academy, and we are, right now."

"I'm sensing a strong aura," Rei spoke while closing her eyes. "It's so strong, that this place is overflowing with it."

"I'm also picking up a strange distortion," said Ami, as she typed away on her computer. "It's making the spatial density in this area seem off."

Then, a big gust of wind billowed about through the area, enough to shake some leaves off their trees.

"You guys feel that? The wind's suddenly picked up, and I doubt it's because of the building canyons," said Makoto. "They seem to be agitated like they're upset. A storm's brewing."

Minako then sharply looked back, getting the same feeling she had before.

"Minako? What is it?" wondered Usagi.

"That feeling again," Minako thought to herself. "Someone's definitely watching us. But who?"

"Well, one thing's for sure, it seems that Minako's theory wasn't that farfetched after all," said Harusuke. "But the security's so tight, and I doubt that they're going to let a couple of outsiders like us in. How are we going to get inside?"

Then Usagi had an idea. "I think I may know the perfect way to get inside," she said with a wink. "Just leave it to me!"

The others looked at Usagi puzzled, but then, Usagi dug into her pocket and took out a familiar pink pen with gold rings, and a red jewel in the shape of a crown. The ordango held it up high and activated its powers.

"MOON POWER! Change me into a student who goes to Mugen Academy!"

In a burst of light, Usagi's appearance changed. She was now wearing a Mugen Academy schoolgirl's uniform. However, unlike the others, her skirt was long instead of short, she had a pink bow in her hair, while it was styled in a ponytail, and she also wore glasses with red frames.

"The Disguise Pen?!" exclaimed Harusuke. "I didn't think you still had that!"

"Yup! With this disguise, no one will ever think it's me," said Usagi proudly. "I'm going to go check inside. You guys wait here."

"But, Usagi! Hold on!" said Minako. "Don't go rushing in on your own!"

But Usagi had already climbed up the stairs and entered the building.

Ami was worried. "You think she'll be okay?"

"Nope. Which is why I'm going with her," said Harusuke.

The boy then revealed his bracelet, and when he touched it, his appearance changed as well. He was now wearing the Mugen Academy boy's uniform, and his hair was shorter and sleeker. He then followed Usagi up the stairs and entered the building, too. When he got inside, he saw Usagi, who was staring in awe at the interior. Harusuke soon found himself gasping in amazement as well. The floor was tiled, there were several floors with glass shields like something you'd see in a mall, and there was even a small lake and fountain in the middle.

"Whoa. This place is incredible," murmured Usagi. "Just what you would expect private school. Are all of them like this?"

"Who can say? This is the only one I've ever seen before," said Harusuke. "But even I've never heard of a private school that's over sixty stories tall. It's hard to believe."

"Yeah. Guess you could say that this place has "high" class," said Usagi with a smirk.

"I'm going to pretend that you didn't just make a pun," said Harusuke flatly. "Anyway, what do you say we take a look around and see if we can find anything?"

The two were just about to start looking when they heard the sound of music playing. It was the melody of a violin that seemed to be coming from somewhere outside of the building.

"Usagi, do you hear that?" asked Harusuke.

"Yeah. I do. What beautiful music," said Usagi. "But where is it coming from, and who's playing it?"

"I don't know who, but it sounds like it's coming from outside in the back," said Harusuke.

The Tsukino siblings then ventured further towards the back, their curiosity peaked, and wanting to know who the violinist was. They exited outside and walked over to the side, and saw a dome stone shelter. Underneath it was their mysterious violinist which turned out to be someone familiar, a young woman with teal hair whose eyes were closed as she was lost in her own world while playing.

"It's Michiru," murmured Usagi.

"Yeah. So it is," Harusuke murmured back. "The way she's playing that violin... it's like a gentle wave."

Then, Michiru opened her eyes, and when she saw Usagi and Harusuke, she stopped playing.

Back by the stairs at the entrance, the others could also hear the violin playing and were entranced by its beautiful sound, too. But then, the melody suddenly stopped, the atmosphere filled with an eerie silence.

Then, Minako sensed felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. Someone was here. But then, someone jumped down from out of nowhere and landed in front of the girls in a crouch. The person revealed themselves to be another familiar face, a woman with short blonde hair wearing the male Mugen Academy school uniform.

"Haruka Tenoh!" gasped Minako.

"Listen, you shouldn't go poking your noses around here," Haruka warned. "If the four of you leave now, I'll overlook it this one time." She then glared. "But if you get in my way, there's gonna be trouble, and I won't show you any mercy."

The girls could only stare in surprise as the wind blew through their hair.

"Coming to this place by yourselves. That's a pretty bold thing to do," Michiru spoke to the Tsukino siblings. "Bold, yet very dangerous." Her eyes narrowed in a glare. "Be careful. One day, that kind of fearless could lead you two to ruin."

Usagi and Harusuke couldn't speak, not expecting Michiru to have such a look. Then, another female student from Mugen Academy appeared.

"Hey! You two! What are you up to?!" she barked. "State your years, classes, and names!"

"Oh, no! We're busted!" squeaked Usagi. "What'll we do?!"

"Run for it!" cried Harusuke.

And the two raced away. As the girl chased them in hot pursuit, Michiru didn't say a word as she watched them leave.

After a few minutes of running, Harusuke and Usagi managed to give their pursuer the slip and hide in a dark hall inside the building.

"Whew, that was close," panted Usagi as she caught her breath. "But we managed to get away."

"Yeah, but that was enough to give me a heart attack," said Harusuke. "I didn't expect Michiru to be here of all people. Not to mention that look she gave us. It was like her eyes became twin dark orbs that would pierce my soul. I've never seen her like that before."

"Me either," shivered Usagi. "My body's still trembling just thinking about it. Do you think she knew it was us?"

"Who can say," said Harusuke. "But I don't think we should stick around to find out. We have to get back to others, or we'll get caught again."

"R-Right," nodded Usagi.

Meanwhile, back outside, Chibiusa had been searching for her beloved hat for quite some time. She had looked near the roller coaster, and even outside of the amusement park, and was now searching outside Mugen Academy's building. She looked all around until she saw her hat, which was lying in the corner of a stone wall by some stairs that led to a building with a sign that read: "Tomoe Research Laboratory." The pink ordango was overjoyed as she rushed over and picked it up.

"Thank goodness. I'm glad I found it," she sighed with relief. "After all, Mommy Ikuko was the one who gave me this hat, so it would have been a shame if I lost it."

Chibiusa was just turning to leave when she heard something. It was the sound of whimpering and wincing that came from the other side of the wall. Wondering what the sound was, Chibiusa looked behind the wall and saw an unexpected sight. A young girl was leaning against one of the pillars, gasping for breath. She had pale white skin, had black shoulder-length hair in a bob, and wore the standard Mugen Academy uniform.

Feeling worried, Chibiusa went over to her. "Hey, are you feeling all right?" she asked tentatively. "You look like you're in pain."

But as she reached out towards her, the stranger shooed her hand away.

"I get these attacks a lot. They usually pass on their own," the girl gasped. "Just please go away. This area is off-limits, and you shouldn't be here."

Chibiusa was just about to refuse to leave, when Usagi and Harusuke exited the building, having found their way outside. As soon as they saw Chibiusa, they were surprised, and rushed over to her.

"Chibiusa, what are you doing here?" demanded Usagi sternly. "And why aren't you with Mamo?"

"I was, but my hat flew off when I was on the roller coaster earlier," explained Chibiusa. "I came over here to get it, but then I found this girl. I think she's in pain. "

"Whoever this girl is, she's wearing a Mugen Academy uniform," said Harusuke. "Maybe we should call one of the staff members or something?"

Suddenly, a terrifying roar cut through the silence, making everyone jump, and from the bushes, a large Daimon exploded out. It was large, purple-black, looked somewhat like a feline, had large teeth and claws, and had glowing red eyes.

"It's another Daimon!" cried Usagi.

The girl was frightened when she saw the creature, but Usagi, Harusuke, and Chibiusa stood bravely in front of her.

"Don't worry! Just stay right there," Chibiusa told the girl. "Usagi! Harusuke! Let's go!"

Chibiusa then took off much the surprise of Harusuke and Usagi, but they followed close behind her. The Daimon charged at them, barring its teeth, intending to swallow them all at once. The Tsukinos managed to jump out of the way just in time, making hit the ground behind them as they continued to run. The Daimon quickly recovered and continued to pursue the three as they moved toward the stairs, and attacked again using its teeth. The three jumped out of the way to dodge, but that, in turn, caused them to stumble down the stairs, and Usagi and Harusuke fell on the ground, while Chibiusa landed right on top of them. Then, the other girls rushed onto the scene, having to have heard the commotion.

"Hey! Are you guys OK?!" called out Makoto. "We heard you screaming!"

"Watch out, you guys!" warned Harusuke. "Another Daimon's here!"

The Daimon roared as it pounced straight at the three once more. But before it could get to them, the Tsukinos dodged, tumbling as it hit the ground with its teeth.

"So another one has appeared," said Rei. "It figures it would be here of all places."

"All right! Let's do it, everyone!" said Usagi as she took off her glasses. "Transform!"

Everyone answered with a nod as they took out their transformation items, while shouting out their phrases.

"MOON COSMIC POWER MAKE UP!"

"MOON PRISM POWER MAKE UP!"

"MERCURY STAR POWER MAKE UP!"

"MARS STAR POWER MAKE UP!"

"JUPITER PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

"VENUS STAR POWER MAKE UP!

"SOLAR CRYSTAL POWER SHINE ON!"

Transformation Sequence: Usagi

Usagi's Cosmic Heart Compact opens, revealing the pink heart-shaped crystal inside, waving her hand over it. It flashes twice and erupts in pink light. Usagi is now standing in the middle of a light blue heart that's spinning to the right. She stands one leg while holding up her arms and begins pirouetting in the opposite direction, going faster until, in a burst of light, pink ribbons envelop her torso and midsection, transforming into her leotard. She elegantly stretches out her arms, and pink ribbons cover them, forming into her gloves. She then raised her right foot high with incredible flexibility, and pink ribbons cloak it changing into her boots. The heart made of blue light then turns into a circle of sparkles swirling around her waist, forming her skirt and bow. Now no longer in light, Usagi spins around a couple of times like a ballerina, and takes a small bow. As she comes out from her bow, a crescent moon mark glows in the middle of her forehead. Then, a tiara appears bearing a gold symbol of the Moon, along with her earrings, choker, and her ordango covers. Usagi opens her eyes, her transformation now complete, and strikes her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Chibiusa

The Prism Heart Compact opens, revealing Chibiusa's Silver Crystal inside of it. It begins to glow pink until a heart made of light pops up from it, flipping and overtaking the screen revealing Chibiusa bathed in light with the Prism Heart Compact in the center of her chest. The compact bursts with pink ribbons that tighten and wrap around Chibiusa's body, making her leotard. Chibiusa then spins around as a red bow appears where her compact is on her chest. Pink ribbons then wrap around her legs, forming her pink boots, and around her waist, forming her skirt and red bow at the back. Her gloves materialize next, and white-bordered red circular accents on her odango appear, along with pointed white fittings resembling a rabbit's ears, a golden tiara with a red gem, a pink choker around her neck, and pink studded earrings. Her transformation now complete; Chibiusa winks and then strikes her signature pose with a crescent moon in a pink background shining brightly.

Transformation Sequence: Ami

Ami held up her hand as blue sparkles swirled around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright blue. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on it begins to turn, enveloping Ami in blue light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as a stream of sparkling blue water begins to emit from it, forming her leotard, boots, and gloves. A sparkling ripple, as well as a flurry of bubbles, expands over her body, creating a small mist of water that formed the rest of her uniform the same as Sailor Moon's but the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves were blue and bright blue. She turns around and then strikes her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Rei

Rei's hand is held up as red sparkles swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright red. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on the stick begins to turn as Rei is enveloped in red light. As she held up her pen while spinning around, long bright tongues of flame erupt from her pen, forming several rings around her body. The rings of fire tighten around her body, and in a brilliant flash of light, her outfit forms looking just like Sailor Moon's, but she is wearing red pumps along with a pair of red star-shaped earrings, the center bow is purple, and the rims of her gloves, her skirt, her choker, and collar are red. After that, Mars finishes with her signature pose.

Transformation Seuence: Makoto

The planet Jupiter appears, and Makoto puts her hand up, her fingernails begin to sparkle in bright green, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design. Her body now becomes silhouetted in green, as blue lightning erupted from her wand, while holding it up. As she spins around a few times, until stopping with her back turned, the lightning swirls around her, forming rings like an atom. The lightning explodes, revealing Makoto in her green Sailor Uniform wearing green boots, a pair of rose earrings, a pink bow and ribbon, gloves with green trims, and a green skirt, choker, and collar. Makoto then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation now complete; she assumes her final pose, her symbol and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.

Transformation sequence: Minako.

Minako holds up her hand as golden stars swirl around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright orange. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. It begins to turn as Minako is enveloped in yellow light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as banners of golden stars emit from it. Minako then holds up the pen above her head as the banners of stars form a spiral around her body. They disappear into the ground, forming a circle of stars, and burst into more stars going upwards, enveloping Minako's body. Then Minako emerges wearing the same outfit as Sailor Moon's, the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves colored orange, her back bow, yellow, and her center bow, blue. She then opens her eyes as she struck her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Solaris (Post Crystal)

Harusuke's hand waves over the Sunstone Crystal, and it began to pulse with light until it shines brightly. Harusuke, now shrouded in light, holds his hand with the Sunstone Crystal up high, and throws his fist to the floor, and his symbol appears beneath him. Light encases his legs from his feet to his hips, and in a burst of light, his boots along with his belt, and some additional armor on his thighs materialize. Then his right encompasses his right arm from hand to shoulder, and his gloves, along with some armor, appear, and the same happens to his left hand. Harusuke then punches his fists together, creating a spark of light, and crosses his arms as his chest is wrapped in light. Harusuke then throws his arms out, and his chest plate appears, the symbol in the middle glowing brightly. Finally, his helmet appears on his head, this time covering up his entire head, leaving his face exposed. Harusuke opens his eyes smiling with confidence, his transformation now complete, and assumes his signature pose, with the sun appearing in the background while his symbol overlapped it.

The Daimon snarled with blood lust as it pounced toward the Guardians, swiping with its claws forcing them all to scatter. As the battle went on, Mimete appeared hovering just above them unnoticed.

"Looks like the vessel I used was quite a strong one," Mimete hummed to herself. "Those Guardians don't stand a chance against it."

Sailor Mercury crossed her arms and conjured a large bubble of power in them.

"MERCURY BUBBLE SPRAY!"

She threw out her hands and unleashed a flurry of bubbles, which created a thick fog that blinded the Daimon, confusing it. Sailor Mars jumped into the fray, unleashing one of her techniques as well.

"MARS BURNING MANDALA!"

She fired an array of rings, each one hitting the Daimon and making it recoil, but all that did make it even angrier as it let out a roar, gunning for Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi. The two ordango guardians ran for their lives as the Daimon snapped at them with its jaws. Then came trouble. As Daimon snapped its jaws at them, Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon split into two directions causing the Daimon to hit the ground haphazardly. Then, Sailor Chibi Moon saw something that made her eyes go wide. The girl from before was now standing just on top of the stairs, having to have been watching the fight the whole time. She was also right in the Daimon's path.

"Hey! Look out!" Sailor Chibi Moon yelled, as she shot towards the girl, tackling her out of the way, and saving her just in the nick of time.

Sailor Jupiter quickly came to their defense as her antenna extended from her tiara, gathering power, as she gathered lightning in her hands.

"JUPITER SPARKLING WIDE PRESSURE!"

She flung a powerful disc of lightning, scoring a direct hit on the Daimon's head, making it shriek and howl in agony as it convulsed from the electricity.

"Solaris! Back me up!" yelled Sailor Venus.

"You got it!" nodded Solaris.

Sailor Venus made a chain made of energy materialize, as it danced around her body, while Solaris clenched his fist, making it shine with golden light.

"VENUS LOVE-ME CHAIN!"

"SOLAR BINDING!"

Venus launched her chain, and Solaris fired a beam, the chain wrapping around the Daimon tightly, while the light bent and wrapped around it, too. The Daimon struggled as it tried to get free, but its binds held it tight.

"Sailor Moon! Now's your chance!" shouted Sailor Venus.

"Take out that thing while it's trapped!" yelled out Solaris.

Sailor Moon summoned forth her Spiral Heart Moon Rod, gathered all the power into it, and used her signature move.

"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"

With a mighty blast of hearts from her rod, Sailor Moon blasted the Daimon with her attack, making it explode in a puff of vapor. In its place, while curled up in a ball as a sleeping cat, and a Daimon Egg, which dissipated in a puff of smoke.

"A cat?" said Sailor Moon. "That Daimon was a cat this whole time?"

"So it would appear," said Solaris. "Just like what happened to that lemur a while ago." He then went over to Sailor Chibi Moon and the girl. "Hey, you two okay?"

"Don't worry. We're fine!" Sailor Chibi Moon called back. "We're A-OK."

The girl was fine as well, but she was bewildered. "Just... who are you, people?" she wondered.

"We're champions of justice, the Guardians," Sailor Chibi Moon spoke proudly. "We fight for love and justice, and protect the innocent. And I'm Sailor Chibi Moon."

"Well, since she's introducing herself, I might as well, too," said Solaris. "I'm the Guardian of the Sun, Solaris, and the other girls are Sailors, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus."

The girl then noticed Sailor Chibi Moon's right forearm, which now had a big scrape on it, and was bleeding slightly. "Hey, Ms. Sailor Chibi Moon, you're injured," she pointed out.

Sailor Chibi Moon then looked at her arm and was surprised. "Oh! I didn't even notice until now," she said with embarrassment.

Then, the girl placed a hand on Sailor Chibi Moon's arm, and it started to glow. When it did, the wound on Sailor Chibi Moon's arm began to slowly fade away, much to her's and the other's amazement. In a matter of seconds, the wound was completely gone.

"My wound... it's disappeared," murmured Sailor Chibi Moon.

"Sorry if it seems a bit creepy, but it's a power I've always had ever since I was little," said the girl. "Now, it's better for you all to leave right away, especially since it's so late. The security guards are very strict, and you don't want to get caught by them."

The girl then turned to leave, heading back inside the building, but Sailor Chibi Moon called out to her.

"Wait! Before you leave, can you tell me your name?"

The girl then stopped and looked back, appearing surprised at such a request, but she smiled.

"It's Hotaru," the girl replied. "Hotaru Tomoe."

She then walked away back into the building. As the Guardians watched her go, a familiar figure with a coat and hat stood from on top of a lampost. With a tip of their hat, they jumped up, going high into the sky.

"It seems as though things are about to get a bit more interesting," they said to themselves.

Hotaru walked inside of the building, heading upstairs. But no sooner when she made it down a hallway, she was once again wracked with pain, clutching her hand to her chest as she gasped for breath. At that moment, someone came out into the hallway, a woman with familiar long red hair. When she saw Hotaru, she rushed over to her.

"Hotaru! Are you suffering from another attack?!" the woman gasped. "Let me help you to your room."

But as she reached out to help her, Hotaru immediately slapped her hand away.

"I don't need your help!" Hotaru snapped. "I can get there myself, so get away from me!"

Then, a young man came over to see what was the matter. He was about middle-aged, had short white hair, wore a white lab coat, and wore glasses with the right lens solid.

"What seems to be going on here, Hotaru?" the man asked. "Care to explain, Kaori?"

"It's nothing out of the ordinary, Professor Tomoe," said the woman. "I was offering Hotaru help, but she didn't want it."

The man sighed in exasperation. "Hotaru, you know that Kaori has looked after you ever since your mother died," he scolded. "It would be wise for you to show her some respect, and not be so selfish."

Kaori seemed to smirk smugly, but Hotaru glared.

"I know what you're up to," she spoke hotly. "Keep sucking up to him all you want. I don't care if you're his assistant, his secretary, or whatever it is you are to him, but you're not part of our family, so stop acting like you are!"

Hotaru then took off, running straight to her room.

"My apologies," said Professor Tomoe. "Perhaps I've been spoiling her too much ever since her mother died."

"It's quite all right, Tomoe," said Kaori. "I don't mind."

Hotaru was now lying in bed, trying her best to get some rest, but she could still feel pain throughout her body. She tried to ignore it, but no matter how much she tried, it was no use. Then, Professor Tomoe entered the room.

"Hotaru, have you taken your medicine?" the professor asked. "It would seem that your attacks haven't ceased yet."

"Yes, I have, Daddy," Hotaru spoke weakly. "But it isn't working."

Professor Tomoe then kindly stroked Hotaru's hair to comfort her. "It will. Just give it a bit of time," he said. "In the meantime, I brought something for you."

The moment he touched her head, Hotaru could feel that his hand was as cold as ice, but she said nothing. He then dug into his lab coat and took out a strange item on a chain. It was a large crystal in the shape of a hexagonal prism with four points on the bottom, and ominous violet color.

"This is an amulet that has been in our family for years," explained Professor Tomoe. "Hold it close, it will protect you, and you will be able to sleep well."

Hotaru was still doubtful, but she took the crystal anyway.

"Now then, I have to get back to work," said Professor Tomoe. "I'll come back in a bit to check on you."

He then left. Hotaru was now alone once again. As she lay there, she remembered the cold feeling when he patted her head.

"Daddy, when did your hand become so cold?" she thought.

Her eyes began to get heavy as the pain slowly ebbed away from her body as she began to drift away.

"How strange. The attacks are stopping now. But... I still can't help but feel scared. My attacks have never been this bad, and I keep lashing out at people, letting my emotions go out of control. Am I running out of time? How long can my body hold out?"
