127. Swordrago's Rebirth

Vermilion City

At the Vermilion City, Goh was having a walk with Ash, Chloe, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie and Dawn.

Then, they encounter Daemons led by Rio and Wolzard which attacked the people and Pokemon.

"Uh oh! Daemon attack!" Dawn said.

"Gotta stop this!" Ash said and the kids sent out Sirfetch'd, Rainbow, Empoleon, Grimmsnarl and Orbeetle and uses Burst to merge with them.

"Tiger Roar!" Bonnie transforms into Primitive Tigress.

"I don't need Burst. I'll go straight sword to sword fight!" Goh said and he gains the Burst Red outfit and rushes along with his Flaming Sword to attack Wolzard and Rio.

"Meteor Assault!" Ash strikes the Daemons by dashing through them with his onion sword.

"Psybeam!" Chloe's horn has projected the pink beam at Daemons, stunning them and she kick them with her hind legs.

"Metal Claw!" Dawn's arms were coated with steel and strikes the Daemons down.

"Heavy Slam!" Serena jumps in the air and slams the Daemons.

"Bug Buzz!" Clemont sends the buzzing sound which irritated the Daemons before using the Psychic to end them flying out of sight.

Tigress strikes the Daemons with her sharp claws.

Goh rushes to fight Rio but, Wolzard stood in his way and retaliates Goh.

"I won't lay your dirty finger on my student!" Wolzard said.

"Yeah, as if!" Goh said and he strikes Wolzard many times but, he hardly reacted and strikes Goh.

"I don't have a time to deal with you, Wolzard!" Goh said.

"Naive. Very very naive!" Wolzard said and strikes Goh swiftly.

Goh cancelled his stransformation as he was wounded and he knows that the moves that Wolzard made is so similar to Rekka's.

"That moves... It can't be!" Goh said and he recognized that Wolzard was none other than his mentor, Shiba Rekka. "Are you... Master? Is that you, Master Rekka?"

"Rekka? I have never heard of that name..." Wolzard said.

"You're lying!" Goh said, he didn't believe that his mentor joined the dark side of Daemons. "I saw it with my own eyes! That unique swordsmanship... That was Master Rekka's move!"

"That's right! " Rio said. "Shiba Rekka was actually the great swordsman in Pokemon World. He accepted Armada's offer and he became the knight of Hellfire, Wolzard due to his great technique. So we are using him in this way by enveloping in the evil darkness."

Goh was devastated, having a feeling of being betrayed just like his friend Horace did, he dropped his sword and fell down to his knees, crying.

"...Master." Goh mumbled sadly.

"What a touching reunion with your mentor." Rio said. "No need for tears just die!"

Wolzard closes and opens the Jaaku Wolf book with his Ankoku Okamiken.

HISSATSU DOKUHA!

"Dark Howling Slash!" Wolzard unleashes the wold shaped slash filled with dark energy against Goh.

Ash saw Goh became sad and did nothing. "What are you doing, Goh?!" And he comes to Goh's rescue by rushing to his friend and pushed him aside, only to get hit by Wolzard's finisher.

Goh became horror struck to see Ash contained Wolzard's final attack. "ASH!"

Ash was diffused from Sirfetch'd and they were bloodied and became wounded.

The heroes saw this and starts shouting.

"Ash!" Serena shouted.

"Ash!" Dawn shouted.

"ASH!" Tigress shouted.

"Pika Pi (Ash!)" Pikachu shouted.

"Ha! I am bored with this such sad melodrama... Let's go home." Rio said as he and Wolzard disappeared.

The heroes rushed to wounded Ash. Goh was grieving and asks, "Ash... Why did you risk yourself to save my life?! Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I am..." Ash said before he and Sirfetch'd lose consciousness.

"Take Ash and Sirfetch'd to the Vitomir's Dojo!" Dawn said.

Vitomir's dojo

In the dojo of Vitomir, Ash and Sirfetch'd were taken to healing room.

The heroes looks at Goh, who was struck with sadness.

"Goh, what's wrong?" Ben asked.

"Tell me what's wrong." Chloe said.

"My mentor betrayed me." Goh said.

"What mentor?" Gwen asked.

"Shiba Rekka, the one who taught me swordsmanship, is Wolzard all the time!" Goh said.

"What?! Another family member betrayal?" Dawn asked.

"First Ash's dad, now Goh's mentor?" Bonnie asked.

"Your mentor is a general of the Daemons?" Serena asked.

"I don't why! I can't trust my mentor anymore!" Goh said.

Then, Master Vitomir came in, saying, "Perhaps your mentor got brainwashed by the Daemons and they erased his memories."

"What do you mean?" Goh asked.

"That means... Rekka doesn't know everything even Goh when he was brainwashed?" Chloe said.

Goh was angered and he walked away.

"Goh, wait!" Chloe said but, Goh has left already. "Goh..."

At the streets of Vermilion City, the rain has started and Goh was cold and wet, walking in the lone streets. He is angry about Rekka for betraying him.

Then, Mew appeared before him.

"Mew?" Goh asked.

Mew flew off and Goh ran after it.

Mew leads Goh to the abandoned Swordsmen's Academy before it disappeared.

Goh has reached the destination and he sees at the blade, Kaen Ryuken.

"Is that... Kaen Ryuken?" Goh asked.

Meanwhile, a Swordrago book flew out of the bag and teleported from his home to Goh.

Goh holds the book in his hand. "Swordrago..." Then, he sees the flaming dragon. "Who are you?"

"I am your friend." A dragon said.

Goh is cold to say anything.

"I see you have been betrayed by Master Rekka, isn't it?" A dragon said.

"Yeah. I revered him as a father to me, he taught me good lessons of life and after that... he betrayed me." Goh said.

"There is a reason why he betrayed you." A dragon said.

"What?" Goh asked.

"Rekka has betrayed you but, he left this sword, the Kaen Ryuken. Because, he wants you to be the next Swordrago, swordsman of the dragons." A dragon said.

"Swordrago?" Goh asked and he remembers the words told by Rekka.

7 years ago (flashback)

"This is Swordrago. It tells about a swordsman who wielded the dragon's sword and used it to serve the justice and protect the world." Rekka said. "This Power Book made me to transform and fight against the evil."

"Can I become like him?" Goh asked.

"Yes. If you grow into a brave boy." Rekka said and Goh smiled.

Present day

Goh accepted and he said with bravery. "Okay. I will be the next Swordrago!"

"That's the Goh!" A dragon said before he disappeared.

Goh took a long breath and he tries to pull the sword but it was so hot to touch it. However, he didn't step back and he grabs the sword before pulls it out of the ground, screaming with rage and courage. Goh has successfully pulled the Kaen Ryuken and the flash of light has enveloped.

2 hours later...

It was night in the Vermilion City and Chloe walks in the lonely street along with her Boltund. She was worried about Goh.

Boltund asked. "Bol Bol Bol (Chloe, what's wrong?)"

"Goh hasn't returned yet. I was worried about him." Chloe said.

Then, Rio appeared and attacking the innocent people and Pokemon.

"Oh no! That's Rio!" Chloe said and she ran to stop Rio. "Boltund, use Thunderbolt!"

Boltund releases the electricity from its body at Rio but, he dodged as the lion swordsman noticed it and he transforms into lion thus defeating Boltund with ease.

"Boltund!" Chloe shouted, rushing towards her pet Pokemon for comforting but, Rio stood in her way, stopping her in process.

"What will you do? Use Burst or summon your pets?" Rio daunted.

Chloe calls the heroes using her Rotom Acellular but, Rio roared at her, knocking the maroon haired girl back.

"Now, time for you to be my food!" Rio said and he jumps on Chloe then, somebody ran swiftly and defends Chloe by slashing Rio.

Chloe got scared as she covered her eyes and when she opened her eyes, Chloe sees the red dragon knight in front of her and that knight was Swordrago.

"Who are you?" Chloe questioned.

"There is no time to ask. Go now with your Pokemon!" Swordrago said.

Chloe carries Boltund, ran behind the wall and watches Swordrago.

In Infernua, the Daemons were shocked to see Swordrago.

"That swordsman...!" Armada said in shock.

"Swordrago... I thought he was gone." Wolzard said.

Meanwhile, in Vermilion City, Rio converted back to his humanoid form and became shocked to see Swordrago.

"Swordrago?! Impossible! How is he alive?! It can't be! I thought he was perished seven years ago!" Rio said.

"Perished? The mantle of Swordrago lives forever!" Swordrago said and Kaen Ryuken appears in his grasp.

"You!" Rio said as he wields his sword, rushing towards Swordrago to attack.

Swordrago grabs Rio's sword and delivers the flaming punch on the face. Then, he swiftly strikes Rio with his flaming Kaen Ryuken.

Rio transforms into Lion and he rushes towards Swordrago again.

Swordrago then closes and opens the Swordrago book on his belt with Kaen Ryuken.

HISSATSU DOKUHA!

Swordrago then slashes Rio with his flaming dragonic blade.

Rio was exploded into pieces as he screamed in pain.

Chloe was in awe at Swordrago's action.

Then, the heroes (minus Ash) arrived.

"Look!" Julie said.

The heroes saw Swordrago.

"Who is that knight?" Serena asked.

"That wasn't Ash's father but... who is he?" Ben asked.

Chloe goes to Swordrago and said, "Thank you, Mr. Knight."

"No problem." Swordrago replied.

"So, what is your real name?" Chloe asked.

Swordrago disappeared in a twister of flames.

"Hey!" Chloe said and she smiled.

Cerise Laboratory (Next day)

In the Cerise Laboratory, Goh was cleaning his Kaen Ryuken and Chloe came to Goh.

"Hey, sweetheart. What's up?" Chloe asked affectionately.

"I was cleaning up my sword." Goh said.

"Hey, have you heard about the knight named Swordrago who saved me last night?" Chloe asked.

"A knight?" Goh asked.

"Yeah, he has the power to wield fire just like you, Goh." Chloe said.

"Oh, then he's a good knight." Goh said. "I have one riddle to say. Can you find Swordrago here?"

"Where?" Chloe asked, searching everywhere but nothing is found. "Goh, where is Swordrago?"

"He is right here. In front of you." Goh said.

Chloe looks at Goh and she knew that Swordrago is none other than her beloved boyfriend, Goh which gasped in surprise. "Goh, are you... Swordrago?"

"Yes, that's me!" Goh showed the Swordrago book with a smile and confidence.

Chloe happily hugs Goh. "Oh my hero! I didn't even recognize you!"

Then, she and Goh kissed each other.

The heroes saw this and heard everything of what Goh has said.

"So... Goh is..." Gwen said.

"Swordrago. Yeah, I came up to the scene yesterday." Ash said as he and Sirfetch'd came in.

Serena ran to Ash. "Ash, are you okay?"

"Yep. I and Sirfetch'd got healed." Ash said.

"But what is Swordrago? Can you explain about that?" Rook asked.

"Yeah, sure." Ash said.
