128. Wolzard's Last Stand

Ash explains his meeting with Wolzard as Rouki to his friends.
"So, you know my master?!" Goh asked.
"Yes, when I was Rouki, I met him few months ago." Ash said.
Flashback (Few months ago)
In the Infernua, Ash as Rouki sitting on the stone and thinking about the friends.
"Are you hurt of betraying your friends, Ash?" Wolzard said as he came in.
"Wait. How do you know my name?" Rouki asked.
"Don't you recognize me?" Wolzard said and he cancelled his armored form, revealing to be Rekka.
"Are you Rekka?" Rouki asked as he stood up in surprise.
"Yes, that's me. I saw you asking my student Goh for swordsmanship since last seven years." Rekka said.
Rouki remembers the day where he asked Goh for teach sword fighting as Ash and he met Rekka at the age of seven.
"I know it's you!" Rouki said. "Wait, are you with the Daemons?"
"Yes..." Rekka said sadly.
"Why?" Rouki said.
"I willingly joined them." Rekka said. "Because of the Armada's forced offer. Are you being forced?"
"No. I joined them by my will so my dad will be restored again." Rouki said.
"I see. Listen, Ash." Rekka said. "I wanted to be killed at the hands of my student Goh without any hesitation."
"What? Are you-?" Rouki asked.
"I was tainted with darkness. So my death will purify my soul." Rekka said. "You have to purify yourselves by regaining your memories."
"Okay. I will meet you again." Rouki said and he shook hands with Rekka.
Present day
"You met Rekka who wasn't being brainwashed by the Daemons?" Gwen said.
"Yeah." Ash said.
Goh didn't like that and he stood up. "Ash, is there a way to free Rekka from the darkness?"
"There's no way to free a person from darkness." Ash said solemnly. "Once a person is tainted with darkness, he can't come back but he must be killed so his soul will be freed..."
"You gotta be kidding! Rekka will be normal like you did by regaining the memories!" Goh said.
"You have no other choice. I told you again once the person like Rekka poisoned with darkness permanently, he must be cut down..." Ash said.
Goh was shocked and unhappy before he walked away sadly and angrily.
Chloe and the other heroes felt bad about Goh.
In the streets of Vermilion City, Goh was reluctant to think about the way of freeing Rekka by killing him.
"I can't kill my own teacher. It will be sinful to do that." Goh taught. "Is there a way to free Rekka from the darkness?!" He got frustated about the dilemma...
Infernua
In the Infernua, the Daemons watched Rio's defeat.
"Your student got killed at the hands of Burst Reed in the form of Swordrago." Armada said.
Wolzard walks away from the court.
"Where are you going?" Z'Skayr asked.
"I do not need to respond that." Wolzard replied before he teleported to Pokemon World.
Pokemon World: Kanto, Vermilion City, Swordsmen's Academy
In the Swordsen's Academy, Goh visits the abandoned place where he learnt swordsmanship from his former mentor.
Then, Wolzard appeared before Goh.
"I've been waiting..." Goh said. "Master Rekka!"
Goh goes to Wolzard and said, "Rio definitely said it! You are my master!"
Wolzard didn't remember anything. Rekka was brainwashed by Duvessa few days ago and he didn't know his favourite student at all.
"Please open your eyes! Please remember me!" Goh cried.
Wolzard then punches Goh. Goh's mouth flowed with few drops of blood.
"Master... I will restore... your memory!" Goh said as he changes into Burst Red and wields the Flaming Sword.
Goh then rushes towards Wolzard by delivering the swift slashes to him but Wolzard endured with the same technique and delivers the dark slash to Goh, knocking him back.
"So you're copying me?" Wolzard asked.
"Please remember... MASTER!" Goh said before instantly transforms into Swordrago by using Swordrago book with Kaen Ryuken.
"I am Wolzard, the wolf knight of hellfire and darkness. Loyal follower of Emperor Armada and the Daemons. I don't know this Rekka." Wolzard said.
Swordrago was furious and shouts, "You're lying!" Swordrago ran to attack Wolzard with his Kaen Ryuken striking him down many times but Wolzard counterattacked by summoning the purple energy wolf.
"Please remember!" Swordrago too summoned the red flaming dragon to attack Wolzard's dark wolf. A drak wolf destroyed fire dragon and hits Swordrago.
"Fight me!" Wolzard said.
Swordrago was sobbing under his helmet and said, "My master... no longer exists?!" Then, he recalls Ash's words. "Once a person like Rekka poisoned with darkness permanently, he must be cut down..."
Swordrago was reluctant but he stood and shouts, "I... will cut down your darkness!" Then rushes towards Wolzard with rage.
Wolzard unleashes the finisher, Dark Holwing Slash but Swordrago destroyed it and jumps in the air, performs his finisher.
HISSATSU DOKUHA!
"FLAMING DRAGONIC SLASH!" Swordrago screamed with rage as he stroke Wolzard down with his extremely burning Kaen Ryuken on the chest.
Wolzard stood silently as he didn't feel the pain but, he screamed with extreme pain before he was consumed by explosion.
Swordrago turned around and he saw Wolzard dead. Swordrago undid his transformation and Goh started grieving. His heart was filled with guilt for killing his own mentor and dropped the Kaen Ryuken.
"I am so sorry, master... I have to cut you down." Goh fell to his knees, closed his eyes as the tears of sadness flowed from them. When Goh opened his eyes, he sees the soul of Rekka.
"Master..." Goh said, wiping the sad tears from his eyes. "Have I saved your soul, at least?"
"You have gotten stronger, Goh. But... thank you for freeing me from darkness that have tainted my soul for seven years." Rekka said.
"But am I happy with that?! I murdered you. My dreams of meeting you is now burned!" Goh said.
"Look Goh. I know you are weakened by my death but, you became stronger with your passion and kindness. Don't let your passion of fire die out. Just continue your journey of grasping your future with your friends! Go... my beloved student!" Rekka said with few words of encouragement before his soul disappeared.
Goh gave up the despodent attitude and builds the grave for his former mentor.
After he built the grave, Goh holds his Swordrago book and Kaen Ryuken tightly and runs off... to his burning dreams.
Infernua
The Daemons were shocked to see Wolzard dead.
Armada and Duvessa weren't shocked at all.
"Wolzard was killed! We are going to fall!" A Daemon said.
"Silence!" Armada consoled his followers. "We have the plan."
"What?" The Daemons were confused.
Armada and Duvessa goes to the chamber, followed by the Daemons, where the soul of the Messiah of the Daemons, Extinctron is contained.
"Extinctron has absorbed the power of Wolzard and even the deceased the ones such Los Dark, Lucifer and so on." Duvessa said. "With the death of our followers, he will be awaken..."
"It will take months to awaken our Messiah and Pokemon World will be mine by making all humans and those dirty animals extinct!" Armada said and he laughed maniacally.
Pokemon World: Vermilion City, Swordsmen Academy
In the Swordsmen's Academy, a clown with a purple and amber colored jester hat complete with outfit appeared and opens his book.
"Lalala! Jaaku Wolf, give us the strength! BWAHAHAHA!" A clown said and his book has absorbed Jaaku Wolf book from the grave as well as the Ankoku Okamiken before he disappeared.
Who is he? A Daemon? Or other monster? Or alien? I am afraid I can't narrate it...

A/N: I heard that Goh is now a hated character by Pokemon fans because he caught a Suicune, Grookey and Eternatus. I guess the writer has made Goh a Mary Sue or Gary Stu which I don't like it. Unlike that Goh in Journeys counterpart, he is improved and developed a Joe Gibken of Gokaiger like personailty.
Character Development is essential for every character, right? I don't like blank characters so I give them each screentime in the next chapters even the supporting ones.
