Magneto and Tyrone were making preperations for their trip to Hell. He wanted to rescue his best friend Tandy, although they were well aware that it might be difficult to find her. Tyrone's ability was partly in transporting to places, but it would take a lot to get them to Hell. If they made it, he could probably use his power to find her. But there were others who wanted to come, Claire, Elle, and Maximus. Magneto knew they needed assistance for rescue missions, but was hesitant to bring Maximus.

Magneto: Why do you wish to come?
Elle: To rescue his friend, make up for some of my own sins.
Magneto: Claire, how can you help?
Claire: I have healing abilities, and I'm okay with a gun. I want to help protect Elle.
Elle: I'll protect you too.
Magneto: No doubt. And you, Maximus?
Maximus: I have some sins to atone for myself.
Magneto: I've heard about your power struggle with your brother.
Maximus: My brother ruled over a caste system where some lived in luxury, and others had to toil in the mines, they were practically enslaved peoples.
Magneto: This corrupt system no doubt allowed you to gain followers. And I am well aware of the concept of doing what must be done. Of winning a war by any means neccessary. But, there were lines I did not cross.
Maximus: Such as?
Magneto: This idea of bringing mutants...
Maximus: We preferred using the term "Inhumans."
Magneto: Of bringing inhumans to a secret community on the moon, was brilliant. Your people were safe, and the homo sapiens didn't even know of your existence. There wasn't even a native population to expell to protect your people. But you were willing to destroy this world rather than give up your power.
Maximus: You're right. I was power hungry. I really believed that my rule would benefit the people, the enslaved peoples. But in the end, I chose my own power over the benefit of the people.
Magneto: Like countless dictators on countless worlds. I have also been accussed of being power hungry. I could dismiss most of those accusations as enemy propoganda, I would never have destroyed my people to hold onto power.
Maximus: I want to make amends. There are people in Hell that I want to rescue. Maybe Tyrone here can help find some of them. If not, I figure it doesn't hurt to have new friends.
Magneto: Perhaps. For now at least, we do need assistance. Very well, you may come.
