"But Kyo, we're so close..." Yuya looked longingly behind her, her voice a heartbroken whine. She'd been counting on their early arrival to replenish her stock and cash in some bounties.

Yet he was leading them away, without reason! From civilisation... from normal humans... from beds and baths and shops and proper meals.
