Before I begin this chapter, I have this to say, I meant to put it in the last chapter. Pretty soon this story will be coming to an end, only a few chapters left to go, maybe 2-3. I've had the ending of this story, the twins coronation, planned for over a year, and I'm almost ready to do it. To those who have enjoyed this story, thanks for sticking by me. For over a week, General snowball seemed to keep showing up in Kevin's life, much to the annoyance of his best friend Lodhi jr.. At first he seemed cool, but snowball was not only lazy and a glutton, he was clumsy, he broke several of his LEGO sets, and he talked a lot about his old life. Lodhi couldn't stand him anymore. He pulled Kevin to the side one day and told him how he felt.
"Look Kevin, I know you like him and all, but I'm sick of him always being around" said Jr angrily
"I know, he's starting to bug me too. I'm going to talk to him" said Kevin
Kevin sat snowball down at the dining room table in the crisp household.
"Snowball. I think you're awesome, you were one of my first heroes. I'm glad that you're here but it's just that-
"Save your breath Kevin I know where this is going. You don't want me around anymore. No one does" said Snowball
Jr overhead this and listened closely
"What are you talking about? Surely someone else likes you" said Kevin
"Things have been rough since my show got canceled. I've had trouble adjusting to different things. My old team found better lives but I can't find anything I might be good at. I don't have any friends now, nothing to do, nowhere to go but your house and the preschool district. Bear is an amazing host but even he isn't sure where I'm best suited. This, is my only hat" snowball told Kevin
Jr stepped out from his hiding spot and sat next to Kevin.
"Hey, zis city is filled vith many places, I'm sure zeres somezing here zat is perfect for you" said Jr
"And I'm gonna help you" said Kevin
So Kevin and jr went to help snowball. At first they tried getting him work in honeys store, but working around bees didn't help him, and he wasn't a good honey maker or baker. They tried a projectionist job at the drive in theater, but he set a projection booth on fire accidentally. They tried other jobs, ice cream store employee, grocery bagger, librarian, teaching assistant with twilight, they even tried to teach him to fly a plane, but he didn't seem to be good at anything. Kevin and jr were losing hope for the penguin. Next thing they knew, they were at the big blue house in the preschool district talking to bear, looking for advice from him. If anybody knew preschool characters it was him.
"General snowball is really nice I'll give him that. But I'm not sure where he could fit in. The only thing he seemed good at was taking care of the kids who come by here, but it doesn't seem to be his calling" said Bear
"I'm running out of ideas" said Kevin
"Well you know him better than anyone Kevin. What did he do in his show?" Bear asked
"Well, he was the leader of the team. He commanded the submarine his team lived on. He was a leader" said Kevin
"Hey, Lucys navy is still in operation is it?" Bear asked
"Yes it is. Stupid tin cans" said Jr
"Well, Lucy accepts anyone in her navy doesn't she?" Bear asked
"Of course she does. Right now her navy is mostly droids, a lot of her volunteers left after the war ended" said Kevin
"Well why don't you see if he's good at captaining one of her ships? It's worth a shot" said Bear
(Back with Lucy)
Lucy was in her lab, working on a pair of honeys glasses. Over the past several days, honeys vision greatly improved, but she still couldn't see everything without them. Lucy figured about 3-4 more treatments with the lenses, and honeys sight would be completely restored. However she never got to finish her experiment as honey found out from her bees and stopped her.
"I must say Lucy, I'm really flattered you care about me so much you tried to improve my vision. But it's really not necessary" said Honey
"But Miss Honey, I'm only a few treatments away from curing your vision. Don't you want your sight back?" Lucy asked
"I don't need perfect sight to be happy, Lucy. I like myself just the way I am. And believe it or not I love wearing my glasses, it's part of my look, just like my yellow and black clothes. They're what make me, me. Just like your necklace or your ponytail, or even your own outfit makes you, well you" said Honey
"I guess I see your point. Ok miss honey, I'll stop the experiment. But I really think you deserve fixed eyesight, after all you've done for the city, all you've done for me" said Lucy
"Trust me Lucy, I'm much happier this way" said Honey
Honey then left Lucy alone, and not long after, Kevin came in with snowball.
"Sis, we need to talk about Snowball" said Kevin
After a small talk, Lucy allowed snowball a place in her navy, commanding the lucrehulk battleship 'Vanellopes wits'. Snowball was given a blue and gold uniform and a new hat to show he was in charge of all aboard. After a day of working in space over the city, Snowball came to visit Kevin to thank him.
"It feels great to be in charge again Kevin. Being in command of a ship is all I'm good at really, and the droids and crew really like me" said Snowball
"That's great. I'm glad you're happy" said Kevin
"Of course we won't be able to hang out as much, but it was really nice getting to meet you. I'm being sent to Raxon to protect the shipping lanes from pirates and smugglers" said Snowball
"It was awesome meeting you too. I guess I'll see you around sometime" said Kevin
Snowball hugged Kevin before making his leave back to space. Kevin smiled, not only did he get to meet his favorite tv show character from when he was younger, but he helped him find a new place in the world when no one else would. He felt good about it.
(Honeys house, Sophie's bedroom)
Sophie sat on her bed, meditating, clearing her mind, it was a Jedi thing. Her moms birthday was coming up really soon in only a few days. She wanted to get her something awesome, and she had something in mind. Before her mom was confined to the game, she nearly got herself killed getting herself a sith trooper helmet, and failing at that. Sophie wanted to get her mom one of those helmets, but she wasn't sure how. Luckily her friends Annaween and Petermint were already working on a solution. As she finished her meditation, she got a call from Annaween saying she had an idea.
"Meet me in the orbital shipyard tomorrow afternoon, I got an idea" said Annaween
(The next day)
Sophie found herself along with Petermint, his brother baking, and Annaween in the orbital shipyard outside of the door leading to the smorelines Star destroyer, the oasis.
"Pirates, space pirates, where are you?" Annaween called
"I did not agree to this" Petermint told Sophie
"I swear this isn't going to work" Baking softly told them
"Anna, pirates don't sell first order helmets. There are barely any pirates in this game. And you know Lucy and the imperials work hard to get rid of them" said Sophie
"Arrr, did somebody say pirates?"
Several scary looking aliens resembling pirates stepped out from behind shipping containers to see the kids. Baking got close to his brother, frightened. The captain, who wore a red coat and torn up hat, walked up to the kids.
"Look what we have here laddies, customers. What is it ye seek?" The captain asked
