Before I begin the final chapter of this story, I'd like to thank everyone who's stuck with me this far and made this my most reviewed story, my most read story, and my longest story. It was really fun writing this, it's a shame it has to end but there's always future ideas that could happen, plus I have spin-offs planned and in the works. I created this world because just like many people I didn't like the ending to ralph 2 and I needed a way to cope and make a better ending. Thank you all for the support, as well as keeping this world alive. Without further ado, the final chapter of life online.
(July 15th, Vanellopes castle)
Today was Lucy and Kevin's 8th birthday, as well as the day their parents felt they could help run the city with them and Ralph. Their coronation to make it official was soon and was to be televised. A lot of the mayors in the city, as well as leaders from the other worlds, including the imperial moffs and even the grand moff, were to be in attendance. The coronation was to be soon and the twins birthday party with friends was afterwards in the dining room.
With the twins, they were in their parents room getting ready with lucys battle droids dressing them. Kevin wore his suit and Lucy wore one of her dresses.
"It'll be so exciting running this city with you kids" said Ralph
"You sure you think we're ready?" Kevin asked
"Of course we do. Kevin you're popular with the citizens, you have good ideas. And Lucy you're very smart and have done mostly ok with your empire. And you won't be doing this alone, we're here to help, and so is your teacher, and the mayors, and the moffs-
"Mom, the moffs aren't gonna help us. Half of them don't even like me" said Lucy pointed out
"Fair point what am I even saying? Point is we think you're ready to handle the responsibilities we're giving you" said Vanellope
The droids finished dressing the twins and let them look at themselves in a mirror.
"Well, time to get this over with I guess" said Kevin
One of lucys droids came in.
"Miss Honey Potts was just by, she wanted to give you kids these for your birthdays"
In the droids hands were a black purse and a black and blue colored backpack.
"New bags, sweet, a new backpack to hold my stuff is nice" said Kevin
"Just put them with the other presents, well get to them later" said Lucy
"Roger roger"
"Ready kids?" Rancis asked
"Let's go so we can have our party" said Lucy "The less time I have to see the moffs the better"
(With Honey, Vickyt36 this is for you)
Honey sat on her couch with her bees on her head and her husband at her side. The 2 kissed and waited to watch the coronation on tv.
"Can't wait to see how well those kids are running a city" said Zeke
"Lucys changed as a person, and Kevin has potential. Remember, you're picking up Sophie tonight" said Honey
"I know Honey, I know"
Honey leaned back and relaxed, rubbing her pregnant stomach, which had grown a small bit. She couldn't wait to have a baby and have her family grow even more. The day she moved to the city was one of her best days of her life, and she had high hopes for the future.
(Outside the castle)
"Sir, I don't see why we have to be here" Moff Raythe reported to Grand Moff Williams
"We have to maintain a coexistence with the queen. Remember, she's the only reason our glorious empire still exists" Moff Williams fired back
"Fine, I'll tolerate watching this. But can we get ice cream after this is over?" Moff Juan asked
Grand Moff Williams didn't answer and merely took his seat next to mayor Bear from the preschool district.
"Hi there. You must be the Grand Moff. What is that exactly?" Bear asked
"A grand Moff is-
Williams was interrupted when sour Bill came onto a stage and started talking. It was clear he wasn't in the best of moods
"I personally don't care about the twins and sided with the galactic empire during Lucys war. I'm still paying punishments and community service for that. But I'm sure in time you'll come to respect them as a co king and queen. Ladies and gentlemen, transformers, moffs, various animal characters, here they are, Prince Kevin Ralph Fluggerbutter, and princess Lucy Schweetz Fluggerbutter"
Bill stepped to the side and let Lucy and Kevin take the stage. The audience applauded as Rancis and Vanellope, dressed in nice clothes, stepped up to crown the 2. Ralph, standing to the side in a suit, gave a big smile. The parents put a crown on Kevin's head and a tiara on Lucys.
"We now announce the city's new co rulers, King Kevin and Queen Lucy" said Vanellope
The crowd clapped and some cheered. Cameras zoomed in on the twins as they went to speak.
"Good afternoon everyone, it's an honor to be here. I must say, I'm a little nervous being given this title" said Kevin
"So am I. I know a lot of you remember my first time as a ruler, and how well that turned out for me" said Lucy "but I promise to live up to my family's good name and be a great leader for this city"
"As do I. We already have some ideas we're planning. We may not work well by ourselves, but with my sister at my side"
"And my brother at mine"
"We can accomplish great things. And we look forward to working with all of you. Mayors, moffs, robots, mr Litwak is that you in the corner? Glad you could make it" said Kevin
"Thank you all for coming everyone but we have a birthday party to celebrate" said Lucy
The audience clapped as the twins made their exit. Soon the twins had their birthday with their friends in attendance. They played games, ate snacks, danced, kevin could really dance the kids learned. And this year, unlike last year, no giant robots crashed through the ceiling when the cake was brought out. Lucy had a squad of droids aim at the ceiling when that happened for good measure. The twins blew out their candles as their friends cheered
"Happy birthday Kevin and Lucy" the kids cheered
The cake was served and the kids talked and ate. Afterwards everyone went to play, but mocho and cinnamon noticed the twins sneaking away. They followed them, but Lucy caught them before they got very far.
"We're just going to our secret place. It's hidden in the castle, me and Kevin go to it to get away from our worries, kind of like our rabbit hole, mocho" said Lucy
"We'll be back with everyone soon, I promise. We just need a little alone time for a minute. Hopefully you understand we can't tell you where our secret place is" said Kevin
"We understand" said Cinnamon "see you later"
Mocho hugged Lucy before going back with his sister. When the twins got to their secret place, they looked out the window overlooking the city.
"Can't believe we help control the city now" said Lucy
"I know. I'll be honest, I'm still a little nervous" said Kevin
"Me too. But at least we're not alone in this" said Lucy
"I know. But still. We have new responsibilities now. Hope this doesn't affect my free time with Lodhi" said Kevin
"I already talked to mocho and he's been nothing but supportive" said Lucy
The 2 kept looking out at the view for a couple minutes, thinking about all that's happened in their lives, Lucy almost dying to Kevin almost losing his best friend, all those anger meetings, the wars and battles fought, the imperial inquisitors, Palpatine, Rebecca, the fallen. It had been a crazy year. Kevin put his hand on his sisters shoulder.
"Come on Lucy, we should probably head back to our party" said Kevin
"After you, King Kevin" said Lucy
"As you wish, Queen Lucy of the stars" said Kevin
The 2 began walking out of their secret spot.
"Lucy of the stars, weird nickname" said Kevin
"Beats spoiled little princess" said Lucy
"Fair point" said Kevin
