Caroline - Maggie and Kara both try to get things back on track in this one. Although Lena won't be helping much.
As Alex and Kara sat on the couch watching movies there was a knocking at the door. Confused Kara looked through the door and saw Maggie.
"Hi Maggie." Kara greeted opening the door, wondering why Maggie hadn't just come in.
"Hey lit- little Danv- Da- Lil- Alex." Maggie slurred.
"Are you drunk?" Alex asked joining them at the door.
"No." Maggie said pointing to the apartment and asking. "Can I?" the words broken up by hiccups.
"You don't have to ask." Kara said stepping to one side only to grab hold of Maggie as she started swaying.
"Sure you're not drunk?" Alex asked.
"I may be." Maggie said as Kara helped her to the couch. Seeing the tv on she asked. "'m int … upting."
"No it's fine." Kara said. "Where have you been?"
"A bar." Maggie said before adding. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Kara asked.
"Hang on, need to think." Maggie said. "Compliiiicated."
"Do you want coffee?" Alex asked.
"No. Yes. But no."
"Coffee it is." Alex said heading to the kitchen. Seeing Kara had run out she looked at her sister.
"Can you keep an eye on her, I need to buy some coffee."
"I can go if you want." Kara offered. "I'd be quicker."
"It's fine, you are being put out enough. Besides you are more qualified at this than I am." Alex said. "Just make sure she doesn't do anything stupid."
"Okay." Kara said as Alex grabbed her bag and left.
"We need to talk." Maggie slurred looking at Kara.
"Okay."
"I'm a bad person." Maggie said.
"No you're not." Kara assured her.
"Urgh, stop. Let me apfoigize, no apolo … apologise."
"For what?" Kara asked.
"This is where that damn sock would help." Maggie said.
"You want Simon?" Kara asked.
"Simon. That's it." Maggie said moments before she found herself looking at the sock puppet, which was attached to Kara's hand. "I know you." Maggie hiccuped before looking at Kara and asking. "Can he talk to you?"
"He's a listener." Kara said. "Just talk when you're ready."
"Listener?" Maggie slurred. "Makes so much sense. Wait where are his ears? He doesn't talk but has a mouth, but listens but no ear? That's no not right." She commented, pausing for a hiccup before saying. "Need him to tell you I'm sorry." With that she passed out.

"What happened?" Maggie groaned as she opened her eyes only to look round confused.
"You're alive." Alex said entering Kara's bedroom holding a cup of coffee.
"Alex? Is this Kara's bed?" Maggie asked, wincing against the light.
"Yes." Alex said giving her the mug and some pills.
"Why?" Maggie said dry swallowing the pills.
"You came here drunk and passed out. Kara gave you her bed."
"She did?" Maggie asked not remembering. "Where did Kara go?"
"We slept on the couch, while watching movies. Do you remember anything about last night?"
"Not really. Weird dreams. Including talking to Simon."
"Simon?" Alex asked.
"Yeah, as in the sock. Something to do with ears." Maggie explained.
"You're awake." Kara said happily and too loudly for Maggie, as she flew into the apartment carrying a brown bag.
"Kara." Maggie greeted.
"I've got breakfast. Bagels straight from New York. Freshly baked and still hot." Kara said entering the bedroom. "But if you prefer Montreal bagels I can get those." She added before noticing how dark it was. "Do you want some more light in here?"
"No." Maggie said quickly and loudly, immediately regretting it. "But thank you for the bagels." She added taking them from Kara.
"We'll let you die in peace." Alex said kissing her fiancé's head. "We'll see you later."

Maggie was pulled from her hangover induced sleep by a familiar and unwelcome voice saying.
"You are kind of the last person I'd expected to find in Kara's bed. Well that's not true. Lex would right up there too, unless he was being the wolf. Actually that I could see."
"Please stop talking." Maggie said opening her eyes, her head still pounding, to find herself staring at Lena.
"Why would I do that?" Lena asked.
"Because there are no witnesses here and I will shoot you."
"You won't. I mean you have no gun and even if you did you couldn't handle the sound of the gunshot." Lena said taking out her phone before playing a clip on full volume of a gun firing.
"Stop." Maggie said clutching her head.
"Told you." Lena said.
"Why are you here?" Maggie asked.
"I was looking for Kara."
"She's not here." Maggie said.
"I can see that. Should I wait?"
"No."
"So I'll go?"
"Yes." Maggie said, practically begging.
"Okay." Lena said leaving, ensuring she slammed the door as she did so.

"Why was Maggie dreaming about Simon?" Alex asked as she and Kara had breakfast in NooNan's.
"I've not really covered dream theory yet." Kara said avoiding eye contact.
"Let me rephrase, was it a dream or did Maggie talk to Simon when I was out getting coffee?"
"Maggie doesn't know that I liberated Simon plus she hates Simon."
"She doesn't hate him. She just thinks he's a sock."
"So why would she talk to him?" Kara asked.
"As insane as it might sound the look on your face implies it is true."
"Hey guys." Lena said walking to their table.
"Hi Lena." Kara smiled grateful for the interaction.
"I stopped by your place. What happened to Maggie?"
"Hangover." Alex said.
"But you don't have one?" Lena asked surprised.
"I was with Kara last night. Maggie was at the bar." Alex said.
"It was quite a hang over she was nursing."
"Well she was really drunk. Like Alex after bad news drunk." Kara said. "Wait, did Maggie get bad news?"
"No. Not exactly." Alex said.
"What does that mean?" Kara pressed.
"I kinda asked her to stop criticising you."
"You did? But you asked me to stop upsetting Maggie."
"I just want you both to get along." Alex stated.

"Hey, are you feeling better?" Kara asked when the trio returned to the apartment.
"Yes thanks. And thank you for giving me your bed."
"No problem." Kara smiled. "But are you sure you are okay?"
"I'm fine. Actually I'm not. I came here last night because I wanted to talk to you." Maggie said. "At least I think that's why I came here."
"You said that last night." Kara said.
"I did? I don't remember that. What else did I say?"
"Does it matter? I assume you want me to do the same thing Alex asks me to do and just forget last night."
"You really shouldn't let Alex get away with that." Maggie said glancing at Alex who just shrugged.
"So am I remembering or forgetting?" Kara asked.
"Ignoring." Maggie said. "I came to apologise. I realised that I had been really mean to you. I misinterpreted your behaviour and tried to make you conform to my methods. I'm sorry. And-"
"Okay." Kara cut in.
"What do you mean okay?" Maggie asked confused. "I mean I hadn't finished. I mean I owe you a better apology."
"Maggie it's fine. Let's just put it in the past." Kara said.
"You sure?" Maggie asked suspiciously.
"Absolutely." Kara said as she heard some sirens. "Gotta go." But then she paused and said. "Unless that's going to upset you."
"Go do your thing." Maggie said.
"See you guys later." Kara said flying off.
"That felt wrong?" Maggie said.
"Apologising?" Alex asked confused.
"I apologise plenty." Maggie said. Seeing Alex pull a face she said. "I do. But I meant Kara accepting it so easily especially seeing I hadn't really apologised yet."
"Were you apologising for Kara's benefit or yours?" Lena asked.
"Kara's of course."
"Then what's the issue?" Lena asked.
"Is Kara really okay with it?" Maggie asked.
"Kara doesn't hold grudges" Alex reminded her. "She is the kindest person you'll ever meet, which just highlights how crazy your accusations of a Kara led conspiracy against you have been."
"I guess." Maggie said.
"So now maybe you listen to us a bit more." Alex said. "And hopefully now you see that Kara's not the enemy and neither is Supergirl."
"You're right." Maggie agreed.
"Don't you mean 'that's right'?" Lena asked. "I mean doesn't what you said mean you don't agree with Alex at all."
"That's right." Maggie said, feeling like she being punished.
"It doesn't sound like you mean that." Lena said.
"Don't start." Maggie warned.
"Are you going to react whenever someone says feels or sounds?" Alex asked.
"Probably. Blame Cruz." Maggie said.
"You think he was conspiring against you?" Lena asked.
"It felt like that."
"So he's your Landon?" Alex asked.
"That's not what I said."
"Well the good news for you is you don't need to see Cruz again. Where as we have to see Landon." Alex pointed out.
"There's nothing wrong with Landon, and I actually think he is a pretty good shrink, even when drunk." Maggie said, immediately regretting her last statement.
"You are drinking buddies with Landon?" Alex asked.
"No."
"Then how can you know what he is like when he is drunk? Was he drunk in one of your sessions? Why didn't you say anything? We could have used that." Alex said.
"He has never been drunk at work, at least not when I have been at the DEO."
"Then how do you know what he is like when he is drunk?" Lena asked.
"I accidentally ran into him at a bar." She confessed.
"When?" Alex asked.
"Last night."
"He's stalking you?" Alex asked.
"How do you go from I accidentally ran into him, to he's stalking me?" Maggie asked.
"I don't believe in coincidences." Alex said.
"And you said you weren't drinking buddies so how else would he know?" Lena asked.
"There's no way he could have known I'd be there. It was a spur of the moment decision." Maggie said. "And I think you are missing the point?"
"What point?" Alex asked.
"Landon helped me realise how unfair I had been to Kara."
"We've all been telling you that for weeks." Lena said. "The fact you chose to listen to Landon and not us I think is the thing that says a lot."
"It could have been part of Landon's plan to get Maggie on side." Alex said, trying and failing to defend Maggie.
"Does he really think Maggie is so susceptible to manipulation though?" Lena asked. "Although evidence would suggest she is. So maybe he is good at reading people. That might also explain how he knew what bar Maggie would go to."
"You're right." Alex said. "We should talk to the bartender and figure out if Landon had been there before."
"Enough with the crazy." Maggie said.
"I don't think you should be accusing anyone of being crazy. After all you are the one who thought Kara was conspiring against you." Lena reminded her.
"That's it." Maggie said standing.
"Where are you going?" Alex asked.
"To buy a pizza for Kara."
"An apology pizza?" Lena asked.
"Yes."
"Don't forget the ice cream." Alex said. "Especially mint choc chip."
"That's not Kara's favourite flavour." Maggie said. "It's yours."
"You want Kara to be happy. If I'm happy Kara is happy." Alex pointed out.
