Doody's POV
We arrived at a bar. "A Bar?" I asked him. "Dude, the last time we went here, you had a huge headache and vomit all over." I told him.
"I just need some time to think." He said.
"Putz," I started. "I'm driving back."
"Doody, please." He looked at me with puppy dog look in his eyes.
I let out a sigh.
"Fine, 1 drink and that is it." I said firmly.
"Alright!" He said nodding his head.
Then we went inside and after while I was talking to some of the girls.
"Well one my buddy is having girls trouble and…he'll just give you the darns puppy dog look if we say no." I told them.
Then they giggled.
"Yep." I said drinking my water.
Then I realize it was getting late.
"Oh I gotta go find my boy and head him home." I said.
"Ok." The girl said kissing me on the cheek.
Then I smirked and winked at her.
"See you girls later." I said walking over to the counter. "Ready Putz? Putz?"
I looked over to find Putzie.
"Oh come on now." I whisper, fearing what could happened to Putzie!
"Uh if you're looking for that blonde kid, he is out back." The Bartender told me.
"Thanks dude." I said running out back to see Putzie sitting on the ground against the wall and I chuckles at him.
So I walked over to him and sat down.
"You wanna talk?" I asked.
He shook his head no.
"No, but I am a dumb head when it comes to girls." He said.
I looked down feeling bad and back up, putting my arm around him.
"You are not a dumb head." I said to him. "The reason why this is so hard for you, it's because you don't want Abby, Rachel or even Tom to get hurt." He looks over at me with sadness in his eyes.
"Why can't I just tell her how I feel already?" He asked me.
"Because you really care about your friendship, cause let's face it pal…you and Abby have the BEST friendship that everybody could ever have." I said.
"Really?" He asked me.
"Yes, you're Putzie Jacobs…every girls would be SO darn lucky to have a guy like you." I told him.
"And you." He said as I chuckle at him.
"Yes, true." I said. "But just…try remembering why you loved her in the first place and when the time is right, it's a good time." He looks over at me and smiled.
"Thanks Dood." He said as I ruffle his hair. "Not the hair, man." I laughed at him and put my arm around him.
"It gonna be ok pal, time will come." I said soothing his hair as he played with his leather jacket zipper while I chuckled at the total innocence in him.
