I forgot a kiss in the last prompt, my apologies.
Prompt:
"Look out!"
"WAHH!"
Amy was flung to the side as Sonic sped up to grab her and they rolled along the ground, the forces trying to keep things occupied as he looked over his shoulder, then back at her.
"What were you thinking?!"
"I… I…" Amy just wanted to prove herself…
"If you don't know, then just move!" he spoke a bit harshly, but to him, he meant 'move' as in, 'go for whatever's safe' but clearly he didn't have enough time to elaborate on that.
Feeling she had been scolded, Amy secluded herself away for a while, before the new ally she wasn't sure about, but trusted nonetheless, came up to her.
"….Sonic told me to fetch you." he folded his arms, taking a deep breath as if knowing this wasn't his place.
"…I'll come soon." Amy was sitting down, pulling her arms around her legs to push them in, looking down at the polluted water.
The ally in the shadows looked over to her, his tail swished a second as he looked away, thinking carefully on his next few wordings…
"I.. I don't think I'm suppose to tell you this, but…" he scratched behind his head. "I think your boyfriend's pretty worried about how he spoke to you last."
Amy's eyes widened, turning to the new friend as she blushed, and then hid her face. "Ohh!" she was thrilled he thought Sonic was her boyfriend. She peeked through her fingers and looked away, "W-well… he's always doing stupid things like that… So, after awhile, you learn to expect him to not… um… 'communicate'… very well." Amy shyly used the bunny ears before turning away again, still saddened by what she perceived as Sonic being mad, when really, she knew he was probably sorry by now.
"…I'm surprised you put up with that." he looked down, before turning and offering Amy his hand. "Regardless of his personal mood-swings, would you like a ride home?"
She looked up at him, and nodded, about to take his hand.
"She's already got a ride, but thanks for the offer."
The two flinched and turned around, right before Amy had taken his hand.
The new ally stood up, "Sonic? I thought-"
"I needed to find out how Amy was feeling, thanks for being the support." he had his arms folded, and winked before unfolding them and walking up to Amy, bending down to offer his own hand.
"I'll take it from here." he smiled to Amy, before nodding the other boy off to give them some space.
Feeling like this was needlessly elaborate, the ally rolled his eyes and shook his head, sighing and going off somewhere away from them.
"..Hehe, he's a good guy." Amy nodded.
"…Yeah… and I've been a lousy one." Sonic helped her up. "But I'll make up for it. Promise." he winked again, before a huge explosion went off, making the ground shake beneath them.
"S-Sonic!"
"AMY!"
Needless to say, the two were separated, and Sonic was obsessed with making sure he found Amy, safe and sound.
When the two did reunite, Metal Sonic was using Amy to his advantage, luring the teams out through her.
He dangled her above them, and if any moved, he spiked out a finger to her neck, making them stand still.
"This is it." Silver gritted his teeth. "The incident over 1000 years ago… was based on what happens right now…" he lowered his head, narrowing his eyes at Metal Sonic.
"Who knew… this whole thing depended on saving one helpless girl." Blaze stated, before Amy heard that kicked back against Metal Sonic harder.
"I'm… not… HELPLESS!" she kept struggling before Metal looked over, not sure why she suddenly had more fight in her, and gripped her to try and still her.
With that distraction…
"NOW!"
Tails heard Sonic's command and flew down, firing and distracting Metal Sonic, as Shadow continued to confuse him by casting a Chaos Spears to the side, making him turn around as Sonic dashed over and got Amy.
"We have to help them!" Silver powered himself up, and shot forward to Metal, shoving him back and fighting him in the air, "You're mine!"
"Watch out, bolt-breath's got a new function!" Sonic warned, as Metal Sonic opened his mouth to have a flame thrower almost burn Silver's fur up.
"AH!"
"Silver!"
Blaze leaped higher into the air, jumping off of odd and in things like Omega's hide to get up to where Silver was, and push the fire she controlled to the power Metal Sonic was fuming out.
"Let's fight fire with fire!" she melted Metal in a matter of moments.
With Metal out of the way, Sonic raced off to be secluded again, not knowing if the teams won yet or not, but noticed some gashes on Amy and panicked.
He set her down and started speeding off for healing plants, putting leaves and plant juices together and working quickly before the blood spread out and tried to keep it under control.
The whole time, the two remained silent… until…
Sonic breathed hard, but leaned back when all he could do was done and hit his head against a tree, lowering his head down.
Amy was gripping the leaves with Sonic's hand on top of it, trying to breath through the pain.
In the hours of the approaching night, Sonic knew it wouldn't be long now till Eggman strikes again,… and…
Regrettably…
He'd have to leave her side.
"I'm not always good with saying it, Amy.." he finally got some words out, as Amy slightly opened a squinting eye, unable to fully see through the blur from losing so much blood.
But his figure moved closer to her.
"And I may never be able to say it… but you should know." He crept closer, bending down to her level, his hand still pressing down to contain the blood flow.
"…I've never known.. a girl like you before."
Classic Sonic jumped around, taking out bots before his ears caught a cry, and he sped off to find it, down a few routes, but heard a bush rustle and walked closer to it.
Spreading it out, he heard the cries turn to a gasp, and looked wide-eyed at a pink hedgehog. Her legs were close towards her, and her hands up in tight, bundled fists to hide her face, before she looked up and blinked innocently towards him, but looking awfully afraid.
He was so taken by the surreal moment, that a robot was able to sneak to sneak up behind him, and raised his arm up.
She gasped, summoning a hammer and jumping up over him, spinning, and knocking the robot away to defend her new found hero.
Classic Sonic looked over his shoulder, amazed.
One minute, she's cowering in terror, and the next, she's taking out a batnik to protect him.
She landed gracefully and returned to her timid appearance, before turning to Sonic.
They slowly walked towards each other, never having met before, as their noses stuck out as if examine the new individual.
After a second of tilting heads in curiosity, she suddenly let out a big inhale, opening her adorable mouth to a huge open-grin, and tackling him down, hugging him as he let out a cry of surprise at her sudden action.
He flailed on the ground as she continued to smoother him, then the camera cut back to Sonic and Amy, older and still on the verge of speaking their hearts, before the two silhouettes look down.
Amy looks up first, then Sonic.
The two move closer.
The silhouettes slowly begin to morph over each other, slightly…
"I'll never regret… ever meeting you. Even at the end of the world… I'll still…"
The words were cut off by a soft sound-effect of two lips parting and closing.
And now I'm a mess.
(You two will be together, I just know it, hold on! Hold on, you two love-hogs!)
