Chapter 175.
Back at the castle as Wada had finished explaining the invasion plan while everyone in the round table had already left after the meeting was over. As Wada was about to head out himself, he hears a familiar voice.
"Excuse me"
Wada looks over to see none other then former Justice Corp guide/Yusake's assistant May. She is now working alongside with the main hacker as a secretary for the castle, since she's devoted to Ryo's resistance and for the cause.
"Ah May, I haven't seen you in a while" said Wada. "How are you doing young lady"
"I'm doing fine..." said May. "Working with the world's best hacker is doable, even if he is a bit hard to work with sometimes"
"I see, should I tell him to stop being so rough?" said Wada.
"No, it's fine really" said May. "I don't mind at all. It's just..."
May looks down for a moment.
"He's not your adopted son..." said May.
"You mean master Ryo?" said Wada.
May was quite for a moment.
"Yes..." said May. "He's ok to work with, but he's no Yus- I mean Ryo"
Wada was quite as the mood in the room changed.
"Mis May" said Wada. "Do you perhaps... still have feelings towards Ryo?"
May looked up with a surprise look on her face.
"N-No!!! It's just I've been working for Ryo for so long that I'm not used to taking orders from someone else, even if it's only temporary until Ryo eventually wakes up" said May. "That's all I meant Mr. Takishida"
"Ah I see" said Wada. "My mistake"
"Actually, I came down here to see if you have checked on Ryo's current condition" said May. "We need him to wake up soon if we're able to start our invasion plan as scheduled"
"No I haven't Mis May" said Wada. "Though I think it's best to not disturb the lord when he's asleep, besides we're starting on the invasion plan very soon. Once he wakes up, we'll begin to move forward"
"R-Right... understood" said May as she pows to Wada as a sign of respect.
"Actually, why don't you take a break for a moment" said Wada. "I'm sure that hacker is probably annoying you a lot, give yourself some time. I'll tell the hacker that I've sent you on your break, so please enjoy yourself. If anything happens, I'll call you back up to the headquarters"
"That's very generous of you, thanks Mr. Takishida" said May.
Wada smiles as he waves goodbye and leaves the room to get back to the headquarters. However as soon as Wada was out of sight, May starts walking out the room and down to one of the nearest elevators.
(Author's note: inside the large castle are multiple elevators that lead up to different rooms in the castle. More information about the castle at a later time)
May had reached the elevator undetected and pressed the top button, as the door opens she heads inside and presses the very top button. The door closes and the elevator begins to move... soon May begins to think about her past while she waits to her destination.
Narrator: This is May Rikimaru, a strange but attractive young woman. At first glance you would think to yourself "why is someone like her working with terrorist?"...isn't it obvious by now? She's Quirkless.
(Flashback to when May was a younger girl, playing with 6 other children as they were silhouettes. Since their appearances don't matter to the story)
Narrator: May was the youngest child in her big family of 7 kids and two loving parents. Despite being quirkless herself, she and her siblings would get along because their parents raised their them to be kind to one another no matter what. They all lived in large but quite farm in the country side near the mountains where everything was peaceful. Her parents home schooled the children since they lived so far away from civilization and they would help grow fruits and vegetables while raising animals for food.
Then show the silhouette of the family having dinner with May as she had a big smile on her face)
Narrator: Even though she didn't know much of the outside world besides of what her parents taught her, she had an extremely happy life...
Just then a large explosion hits the farm as a massive shockwave blows the house apart, causing the family to separate from the explosion resulting in most of the kids and the father getting killed from the blast.
Meanwhile outside, poachers used their quirks to steal animals and ransacked the garden as the boss of the operation was laughing to himself.
"Now this is a large haul!!!" Shouted the main poacher boss who caused the explosion with his quirk. "Luckily for us this place is in the middle of nowhere, So grab, take, and do whatever pleases you because no one is coming here tonight!!!"
"Yeah!!!" Shouted the other poachers.
Narrator: Unfortunately for May, her family became one of the first victims of the group of villainous poachers who would later become famous for their actions. Before eventually being taken down by All Might years later. However right now, no one was gonna save them.
May slowly wakes up and sees the chaos that her once peaceful farm was in.
"May!!!" Shouted her crying mother as she runs up and picks may up in her arms, holding May tightly against her chest as she runs as fast as she can.
"Where's Papa!?!?!?" said May. "A-And the others!?!?"
"I... I think they didn't make it!" Shouted her crying mother as she tries to run away from the chaos. "We got to find civilization and call the pros before these guys catch up to-"
Suddenly a gun shot was heard as May's mother was shot in the head by a random poacher, causing the mother to fall to the ground while still holding on to May.
After a moment, May was crying quietly as she tried her best not to make a sound Incase the poacher who shot her mom was still there. The young May was with the corpse of her dead mother until morning...
(Flashback to be continued/End of flashback)
Meanwhile...
After what seemed like a eternity, almost everyone was on their feet while staring at Stain to make sure he didn't move a muscle. Todoroki explains how he ran into stain while looking for potential allies after splitting up from Momo, obviously he didn't expect to run into a villain.
"So let me get this straight" said Jiro as she sounded a bit pissed. "You just happened to run into the notorious hero killer of all people while looking for potential allies, got into a small fight with him, then after you realize he didn't put much of a fight besides defending himself, you two put aside your differences and decided to formed a small alliance which in return for helping us raid the castle, he gets a chance to kill Zibran by himself and promises to not kill us once this is over... am I getting this right?"
Todoroki looks over at stain for a second while stain's eyes looked back at him... then Todoroki looks back at Jiro.
"Yep..." said Todoroki with a blank expression on his face. "That's pretty much it..."
"ARE YOU INSANE!!!" Shouted Jiro.
"No offense dude" said Sero. "But how can you go and risked bringing a dangerous villain like stain here, especially if we're really close to enemy territory. That's seriously not cool"
"Yeah, your like the last person to do something this stupid" said Tsuyu. "If anything, I would've expected Bakugo be the one to pull this stunt ribbit"
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED MEAN!?!?" Shouted Bakugo as he was slightly offended.
"In any case" said Momo. "I'm not sure we can trust someone like him. I mean for god sake Shoto, look what he did to Iida's brother!"
Iida was still quite as he didn't want anything to do with this situation.
"I know how you all feel" said Todoroki. "Trust me, I've been there with Iida and Midoriya when the 3 of us beat him. But I'm just saying that he wants-"
"Wait a minute" said Toru. "I thought your dad was the one that took Stain down?"
Todoroki stopped as he just realized that he just accidentally told everyone what really happened between them, especially to pros like Fat-Gum and Crimson Riot.
"You kids took down a villain without your hero license..." said Fat-Gum as he was surprise to hear that.
"And your dad took Credit?" said Crimson Riot.
Todoroki was quite as he then sees everyone, including Iida, looking back at him.
"Shit..." said Todoroki quietly.
"I thought we agreed not to tell the others!!!" Shouted Iida.
"I'm... I'm sorry, I screwed up alright" said Todoroki as he felt really sorry for messing up.
"Still, I can't believe he took Credit for his own son's work" said Crimson Riot.
"Yeah..." said Fat-Gum.
Mando looks over at Crimson Riot and Fat-Gum.
"You... do realize this is Endeavor we're all talking about, right..." said Mando. "I mean, that guy is surrounded in controversy. Are you guys really that surprised by this?"
Momo then sighs.
"Figures you guys were the ones to take him down" said Momo. "Can't say I blame you though, that bastard ruined Iida's brother's career"
"Look it doesn't matter what happened in the past or not" said Kirishima. "What matters is if we can trust this slime ball not to backstab us"
"I was getting to that" said Todoroki.
"I already told you..."
Everyone looks back at Stain as he finally spoke again.
"That bastard killed the only true hero in this backwards world..." said Stain. "Sure, Zibran has a point about people with quirks treating those who are less fortunate like shit... especially since some of what he says also aligns with my hatred towards those who aren't true heroes..."
Stain then gets up.
"However, I will NEVER forgive him for what he did!" said Stain as he looks up at the others with a terrifying stare. "Even if I had to put my pride aside and work with you wanna be heroes, that bastard took the only person I looked up too as a true hero! I'll kill him for that!!!"
"Your not gonna kill him..."
Stain looks over and see Bakugo standing there looking back at him.
"Because me and Deku are gonna kill him" said Bakugo. "While your stand by and watch"
"What did you just say..." said Stain.
"You heard me you bootleg vampire" said Bakugo. "He's mine, so back off!!!"
"Your the one who should back off" said Stain. "Little shit"
Bakugo give him a very intimidating stare,
"Make me..." said Bakugo.
Suddenly, Todoroki quickly puts up a small ice barrier between Bakugo and Stain.
"Ok, that's enough" said Todoroki. "Bakugo, you need to let Stain fight Zibran alongside us"
"Why should I, he's a freakin villain" said Bakugo. "Besides, me and Deku are gonna fight Zibran"
"H-Hold on, I thought we all agree that Midoriya would fight him alone while we fight the Generals" said Uraraka as she then turns towards the others. "Since he has All Might's quirk"
"Yeah, where did this idea of you fighting with Midoriya come from?" said Kaminari.
"Because sparky, me and Deku are friends" said Bakugo. "Plus I want revenge for what he did to All Might"
"So? That doesn't give you special rights over all of us" said Sero. "We all want All Might to get justice too!"
"Yeah, and besides you've treat Midoriya like crap most of the time" said Tokoyami. "I don't really call that friends"
"Guys, this is no time to be fighting right now" said Momo as she tries to stop.
"Oh yeah? at least I didn't dog pile on him when his secret was exposed to the whole damn world, thanks to that bastard!!!" Shouted Bakugo.
Uraraka begins to shake as she didn't like where this was heading.
"That's because you already knew about it before anyone of us!" said Sato.
"So did Asui, but you don't care about that little detail because you all like her more then me!" said Bakugo.
"Well if you weren't such a jerk" said Jiro. "Then-"
But before Jiro can finish, Uraraka then breaks the argument.
"EVERYONE STOP FIGHTING!!!" Shouted Uraraka as her eyes were closed shut while everyone had stopped.
The whole group was now awkwardly silent as Mando makes a deep sigh.
"Obviously... this isn't going to work" said Mando as he then walks forward. "If everyone here can't get along in this situation and put aside their differences with one another, then I have no choice but to call off this raid"
Mando then aims his gauntlet at the group.
"Even if it means I have to stop you all by force" said Mando.
"Hold on, are you seriously going to fight us by yourself?" said Red Riot.
"I may have too, since most of you people can't stop acting like children when it comes to heroes versus villains sorta thing" said Mando. "Hell most of the people here are barley 18, plus one of them isn't in the mood to go on the raid... I mean just look at him"
Mando points to Mineta who was back to laying on his side after seeing Momo's new body.
"First I was denied becoming a man..." said Mineta quietly. "And now the hottest girl in my class... has become Miss Piggy..."
"AT LEAST SHE'S MORE USEFUL THEN YOU RIGHT NOW JERK!!!" Shouted Jiro who was defending her good friend.
"Just ignore him" said Momo. "He'll be back to his normal self again"
"I know but still..." said Jiro.
"Even if your right, you can't be serious about fighting us by yourself" said Fat-Gum. "Some of us are pro veterans, are you really gonna take that chance?"
"Veterans or not, your quirks mean nothing against the armor I stole from the resistance" said Mando. "I know for a fact that most of you can't lay a finger on me with this suit I made from different kinds of soldiers from the Resistance and without your quirks, I out rank all of you in military combat"
"Ok but that doesn't mean you will win against all of us at in the end, your completely outnumbered" said Shindo. "You're basically in the minority in this fight"
"As far as I known for my whole life" said Mando. "I've always been in a minority, so this doesn't faze me..."
Mando then slowly lowers his gauntlet.
"But either way, I'm still right about our current predicament" said Mando.
"We get what your saying ribbit" said Tsuyu. "But how can we put aside our differences and work with someone like Stain? He's a villain"
"Sure, having a murderer like Stain here is not what I have in mind for a good raid group" said Mando. "Especially since one of the people here has a personal vendetta against him..."
Iida looks away as he was still on edge about letting Stain join the group.
"However, he's still better then nothing" said Mando. "But right now we're basically no different then nothing if we can't put aside our differences and figure this situation out together. I know I'm asking a lot for you people, but If we're serious about raiding a castle that's completely filled with people who want to kill us and that's made out of Zibranium from top to bottom... Then we need to cool off our heads and end this hero vs villain debate"
"Villain or not he's still a murder" said Naya.
Mando looks at Naya for a moment and then looks over at Stain.
"Chizome. Are you positive that you won't lay a single finger on anyone of us here" said Mando. "Because if you decide to harm at least one of us before, durning, or after the raid..."
Mando then gets right in Stain's face.
"I won't hesitate to kill you..." said Mando. "Do I make myself clear?"
Stain was quite for a moment until he speaks.
"I already told you..." said Stain. "I don't care what happens to me"
Stain takes out a few of his knives and drops them on the ground.
"You can put me back into a new prison if it makes you all feel better" said Stain as he drops one knife at a time as they stab into the earth below him. "I'm not asking you people for forgiveness, I really don't care..."
Stain then takes out his last knife.
"But mark my words..." said Stain as he then slits his wrist as blood was dripping a little while he brings his arm out and letting the blood drop to the ground. "I will kill that bastard, even if it means I die doing it"
Everyone stood still as they all looked at Stain's determination... Mando then looks over at Rinji.
"Hey kid, heal this idiot's wound" said Mando.
"O-Oh! R-Right!" said Rinji as he slowly walks over to Stain and quickly closes up his wound like it was nothing.
Mando then looks over at Bakugo.
"And you..." said Mando. "You need to understand that everyone here wants Zibran dead just as much as you do, so don't be selfish and put aside your damn pride so that everyone here can get Zibran back for what he did. Not just for All Might's sake, but for japans... and the whole world"
Bakugo was quite as he then looks over at Stain while Stain looks back at him.
"Now then..." said Mando as he looks both at Bakugo and Stain. "Can we put aside our differences and work together officially"
Stain and Bakugo slowly but surely nodded their heads to each other for agreement.
"Good..." said Mando. "Is anyone else willing to work together and stop fighting amongst ourselves?"
Everyone was quite until Iida steps forward.
"Stain... there nothing on this planet that will make me forgive you for what you done..." said Iida. "But... as much as I hate to say it, Mando's right"
Iida turns back at the group.
"If we're gonna stop and fight against this sick purge, then we need to drop our morals for a moment... even if we have to work with villains" said Iida. "We can't let Zibran wipe out 80% of the world's population"
Everyone in the group watched Iida as he looks down and continues to make his speech.
"However, a part of me feels sorry for the people in the resistance" said Iida. "They have a good and valid excuse to join a radical terrorist group and follow Zibran's orders..."
Iida begins to remember his fight with Ichigo and how he's life was messed up because of his mother.
"But... that still doesn't excuse them for murdering innocent people" said Iida. "Even if their reasonings are somewhat valid, what they're doing is wrong"
Iida then looks up with termination.
"I believe if we can win against this purge war, then we can change our society better for everyone" said Iida as he begins to remember what Midoriya said back at the field trip.
(Flashback)
"Because I'll become the number one hero..." said Midoriya as he stood holding the capturing weapon in his hand. "I'll change how everyone thinks of quirkless people and everyone can live in peace without being left out or mocked for who they are!"
(End of flashback)
"I believe that we can help Midoriya change society for the better!" said Iida "That way this radicalization of quirkless people will stop and never happen again! Not only that, but we can definitely change our way of thinking about how we can handle heroes together!"
Stain was quite but begins to like what Iida was saying.
"If it means I have to work with someone I greatly despise to make that dream happen..." said Iida as he looks back at Stain for a second and then looks back at his friends. "Then so be it!"
Uraraka begins to faintly smile as everyone begins to get hyped up while Mineta slowly get up and walks over to the group.
"Now then!" Shouted Iida. "Are we ready to take down Zibran and his Resistance so we can end this purge war! Even if it means we may die in the Process!!!"
"YEAH! NO MATTER WHAT!!!" Shouted everyone (expect for Stain, Mando, Todoroki, and Bakugo since they aren't the type of people to get as hype like everyone else) as they raise their fist in the air. "PLU ULTRA!!!"
"Oh well... at least I'll die with my friends..." Mineta thought to himself while crying in comedic anime style.
Mando walks over to Iida.
"I'm very proud of you young man, even if some of you are still not entirely thrilled by this" said Mando. "At least you guys are strong enough to leave your comfort zone and risk everything to stop this madness. I'm proud to work with you all..."
Iida smile faintly but is still not entirely happy about working with Stain... but in a situation like the great quirk purge going on... he has no choice.
"You think you'll be ok to do this Mineta?" said Toru.
Mineta sighs.
"It's not like I have a choice..." said Mineta. "But if I somehow win this... I'M DEFINITELY GETTING LAID NO MATTER WHAT!!!"
"That's the spirit!" Shouted Mina. "Do it for that werewolf booty!!!"
"Wait... what did she just say?" said Jiro as she was extremely confused.
"It doesn't matter... at least he's not super depressed anymore..." said Momo as she tries to ignore what Mina just said.
Mando gets in the middle of the large group.
"Ok, now that everyone here is ready to invade the castle and is willing to risk your lives" said Mando. "I can now trust you with this information. I may know someone who can get us inside the castle... unless he already gotten himself killed that is..."
"Wait? you knew someone who can get us inside the castle this whole time!?!?!" said Naya.
"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL US!!!" Shouted Bakugo with a angry face in typical anime fashion.
"Because, I didn't trust you guys until I knew for certain that you're all capable. Originally I was saving that annoying bastard Incase I ran into other heroes, but I guess you guys will do" said Mando. "But before we go get that fat idiot, we may need to get prepared so that most of you guys can withstand the affects of the Zibranium in the castle"
Mando looks over at Momo.
"Mis Yaoyorozu" said Mando. "I need you to come over here for a moment"
"What is it?" said Momo as walks over to Mando.
Mando then lifts up his armored arm.
"I'm gonna need you to touch this Zibranium armor and try to make something with your quirk" said Mando. "There's something I want to test out"
"Right" said Momo as she nods her head.
She then placed her chubby hand on his armored arm and tries to make something from her body with her quirk. She grunts as hard as she can to make something, but it was to no prevail.
"I can't do it..." said Momo as she let's go while breathing heavily.
"Ok, now I'm gonna need you to try and make something to withstand the effects of this armor" said Mando. "Like a glove or something to wear on your hands"
Momo was shocked by this idea Mando had.
"That's Genius!!!" said Momo. "I can't believe I didn't think of that before!!!"
"Yeah, but... will it work?" said Todoroki. "Is it possible for Momo to make something that can withstand almost any type of Zibranium?"
"We don't know until we try" said Mando. "Though just because it might work against my armor, it doesn't mean that it can work against the General's since both Zibran and his generals have more resistance against quirks"
"How do you know that?" said Uraraka.
"I managed to gather information off of one of the soldiers after I stole parts of his armor to make my own" said Mando. "Luckily if this works we can withstand the castle's effects since it's made out of the same stuff they used for soldiers and bots"
"How did you get information from someone like that?" said Tatami.
"... I rather not talk about it..." said Mando as he was hesitant about how he used extreme torture to get information out of someone. "All I can say is, the military can teach you a lot of things they don't mention in school"
"Oh shit that's hardcore" Camie said quietly.
Mando then looks over at Momo.
"Think you can do it Mis Yaoyorozu" said Mando.
"I'll give it a try!" said Momo with determination.
Momo begins to think hard about the material she is going to make until a random glove comes out of her arm.
"Ok, let's see if this works" said Momo as she puts on the glove.
She puts her gloved hand on Mando's armored arm and tries again. But this time the item she's trying to create was barely coming out of her. Everyone watched closely as Momo tried but unfortunately fails to successfully make something as the object goes back inside her.
"DAMN IT!" Shouted Momo.
"It's ok, we almost had it" said Mando. "You just need to keep making different gloves until we can find one that works"
"R-Right" said Momo.
"This is gonna take a while" said Shiketsu. "Might as well just wait around until she finally gets it"
"Oh I know!" said Camie. "Let's disgusts our favorite dank memes while we wait!"
"No" immediately said Shiketsu.
As everyone was minding their own business while they wait, Naya taps Bakugo's shoulder to get his attention. She whispers into his ear "Follow me" as she walks away from the others without them knowing. Bakugo sighs as he then follows her away from everyone else.
As soon as they were alone, Bakugo breaks the silence.
"What's this about Naya" said Bakugo as her back was facing him.
"Kacchan..." said Naya. "Do you... still hate quirkless people?"
Bakugo was silent for a moment.
"Like... do you still think quirkless people are losers?" said Naya. "After seeing how amazing Mando is..."
Bakugo was silent for a while until...
"Look... what I said a few months ago was really messed up" said Bakugo. "And I shouldn't have said something that hurtful when your father... your dad... doesn't have a quirk"
Naya was quite.
"I was just... so mad... about what's going on..." said Bakugo as looks down. "I thought that they were the problem and that I was in the right but... after thinking about it for these few months, and after getting saved by Mando... I realize now that all Quirkless people are not losers... I mean, look at Deku... he managed to convince All Might that he was worthy of becoming his successor... him! That little crybaby who couldn't stop following me around did something that even I and the rest of the hero world couldn't do... be worthy of being the next All Might"
Naya continued to be quite as her back was still facing him.
"At first I was jealous... really jealous" said Bakugo. "But soon I begin to realize, that it's not the quirk that makes someone special... it's who's using that power. I realize now that my awesome quirk isn't going to make me the number one hero alone... it's me... I have to do it, not my quirk! And people without quirks... they, they can still achieve amazing things. Like deku, and Mando... but your father... he did something more amazing then those two ever could..."
Bakugo grips his fist and looks up at Naya.
"He made you..." said Bakugo.
Naya's heart suddenly skips a beat as she couldn't believe what he just said.
"I... I know that sounds really corny and stupid" said Bakugo. "But, it's true. You are the most amazing girl I've ever met. Sure your dad isn't an awesome hero or has a flashy quirk, but without him... you wouldn't exist... that's why, I'll help Izuku and everyone else fix this backwards society and stop this purge war! So please! Forgive me for being such a selfish asshole!!!"
The whole area was dead silent, but Naya slowly turns around to face him. Bakugo saw that Naya's eyes were tearing up with complete happiness as she looked back at him.
"Kacchan..." said Naya.
She then runs over to him and gives him a big hug.
"I don't care what anyone else thinks about you..." said Naya as she then steps back while her face gets closer to his. "You're the sweetest guy I've ever met!"
Suddenly, she leans forward and kisses Bakugo on the lips for a good moment. Confused and completely shocked, Bakugo's eyes were completely wide open as he couldn't believe that she literally kissed him. She slowly moves back after kissing him and smiles.
Bakugo, still in shocked was frozen in place as Naya walks past him. She then turns around and leans her front body forward in a cute pose.
"Once this is all over" said Naya. "Let's go on a date officially as a couple, Ok?"
Naya then walks away, leaving Bakugo alone dumb founded by what just occurred.
"What just..." Bakugo thought to himself.
"Ah what the hell..." said Bakugo quietly. "She better not go and tell the whole damn world about this, I'll never hear the end of it from those guys..."
