SmackDown Filming: September 25, 2012

"I'm tired, Randy." I whisper as I sit on the couch.

Randy looks at me as he changes into his ring gear. "I know. We can go straight to the hotel after the show is over. My match is the main event."

"Okay. Thank you."

Randy was quietly watching me. Neither of us spoke, but I knew he was watching me.

"Are you feeling alright? You're not sick or anything, right?" Randy asked quietly before sitting next to me and feeling my forehead.

I shake my head before laying on him. "I'm not sick, just tired."

Randy wrapped his arms around me. "You poor thing."

"I'm going to sleep so much when we get to the hotel."

Randy laughed. "You and me both. I'll send Ted in here during my match, so you'll stay awake."

"You don't want me at ringside?"

"It's Big Show. I'd rather not have you at ringside."

I nod. "Alright."

"I'll be the Number One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship after I win though."

"That'll be great."

"It'll be fantastic. Maybe we both will have championship matches at Hell in a Cell."

"Have you fully decided on using your rematch clause then?"

"I think so."

"Good for you. I will be rooting for you."

I smile. "Thanks, Randy. I love you."

Randy kissed my forehead. "I love you too."

"Don't get too risky while facing Big Show tonight."

"This coming from the woman who climbed the steel cage and hit him with a Kendo stick?"

"Hey, John Laurinaitis would have possibly still be in power if I hadn't. It was a desperate situation."

Randy laughed. "You make a very reasonable point, Rissa."

"You can't argue with me on that one."

"You're right. I can't argue with you."

"Just be careful, Randy."

"I will. I promise."

Ted looked at me as I watched Randy's match from the TV in my locker-room. "He's gonna be alright."

I cross my arms and sighed. "Del Rio attacked Randy a little bit ago. I don't see this ending well."

"He'll be alright. It's Randy."

"Just let me stress out."

"Can I ask you about something then?"

"What do you want to ask me about?"

"Well, we haven't really talked since Michelle gave birth. You seemed a little off then."

"Yeah?"

"Are you doing alright? You seemed off then. Now, you're upset after Eve essentially stole the Divas Championship from you."

I sigh. "I'm in a weird place. I want to try to get my Divas Championship back, but if I don't, I'd like to stay out of the ring myself for a little while."

Ted nods. "I see. What about the whole thing with how you were when Michelle had given birth to the baby?"

"I just thought Randy and I would at least be expecting by now, so it's weird. We aren't even trying right now. I just think I'm in a place right now that is way different than I expected."

"I see. I'm sure you'll get where you intended to be. You could start trying again if you don't win the Divas Championship back and step away from the ring."

"I don't think that's gonna happen. I don't think I'm ready to try again, and I don't think Randy is either. Plus, the two of us have some things to work on before we're back where we should be in our relationship before trying for a baby."

"Do whatever you need to do for yourself and your marriage. That's all I'm gonna say, Rissa."

"Believe me, I'm working on that, Ted."

"That's good to hear."

Big Show hits Randy with a Chokeslam and pins him.

1…2…3!

"Here is your winner, Big Show!"

I groan as I watch on the TV. "This is not good. This is Del Rio's fault."

Ted shakes his head. "Randy will be alright. I'm gonna head to my locker-room."

"Okay. I'm going to go catch Randy."

When I track down Randy, Del Rio is attacking him again, and referees are trying to get Del Rio away from Randy.

I ran over to check on Randy. "What the hell are you doing, Del Rio?!"

Del Rio glared at me and muttered something before walking away.

I kneel over and put a hand on Randy's. "Are you alright, or do we need to go to the trainer?"

"I'm in pain, but I'll just go to the hotel."

"Will you let me look you over when we get to the hotel at least?"

"If that's what it takes to get you to stop worrying about me, then I'll agree to that."

I roll my eyes. "Sorry that I worry about my husband, Randy."

Randy laughs. "It's alright. Let's get to the hotel though. I know you're tired."

"Yeah, I'm very tired."

"You're upset." I whisper as Randy and I lay in bed.

"Well, the trainer came into our locker-room to check up on me and told me that I can't compete at all next week." Randy whispers. "I'm upset."

"I'll take the week off with you if you want."

"Really? You would?"

"Yeah, I would. I don't have much going on anyway."

"So we'll just stay home?"

"Yeah, we'll stay home."

"What if you're just managing me and something like this happens again?"

"Then I'll stay at home with you. If I'm only managing you, there's no point in being at work if you're not."

"Okay, so no work next week?"

"No work next week. I've been thinking about our relationship a lot lately."

"You have?"

"Yeah, would it be too much to ask you to come sit in for some of my therapy sessions? I feel like I have an easier time talking about things that bother me while I'm there. I know I have a hard time talking about things sometimes, so I thought I'd be able to be a bit more open with you if we're there."

Randy pulled me close and kissed my forehead. "Of course. I'd love that, so we can talk about things a little bit more."
