The year is 2016 and summer's breathing down on our protagonist's sweaty necks. Rockford Hills, a playground for the rich and successful. A labor factory for the poor shmucks who work there in underpaid conditions. As our ladies roll up at the gym, they continue their Los Santos Stories…

It was agreed among the four that having a proper bath felt like heaven…even if it was in a public gym. Mary-Ann had gotten them membership which included a free outfit. The four were in the locker room changing.

"These sport thongs are pretty tight." Weiss said pulling on the material before letting it out.

"Considering what my shorts were made out of…this isn't really new for me." Yang said. "Though, Blake's bubble butt may bring all the boys to the yard."

"Whatever." Blake said getting on her new sneakers. "They said they'd look in the back to see if they had for shorts in our sizes. At least they had track tops and at least these sports thongs are high waist."

The HUD/System had taken their old clothes explaining how it handled clothing which only made the girls' resolve to get a safehouse sooner and also get some more clothes. At the least, the System revealed a few shops they 'unlocked'. They joined Mary-Ann in the room with a few other women. Mary-Ann was in the midst of chatting with another woman.

"So, you're Michael's wife? How's he been?" Mary-Ann asked.

"Good…you must that She-Hulk woman he told me about." Amanda joked.

"She-Hulk? Maybe I should cosplay as her for Halloween." Mary-Ann joked right back.

"Ahem."

Their instructor had arrived, and she gave off the lost of a motherly hippie. She had salmon-colored shiny hair that went down her lower back. She wore white star earrings, glasses, a long blue floral dress that stops at the knees and no shoes. Her body was ample, but a bit on the lanky side which did impede her good lean shape. She was a bit bottom heavy.

"Good afternoon class, I am Oceanbird Astronomonov, and I'll be your instructor for this class." She said.

Yang, Mary-Ann, and even Amanda tried to laugh at the silly sounding. Ruby thought it sounded cool.

"So, kind of curious, why it's a women-only class?" One of the other students asked.

"Well, I teach the men meditation. But the tai chi I teach for women is help relax and firm the body among your fellow women raising your harmony and confidence. Besides, I don't think a mixed gender class would work for a nude tai chi class." Oceanbird said with as Weiss was the one to sputter.

"Did you know this?" Weiss asked Mary-Ann.

"No, I didn't. Not like it's a problem." Mary-Ann said whipping her own clothes off. "I have the most utter confidence in my body."

"Right on." Oceanbird said already naked herself.

"Of course, the hippie has a damn jungle between her legs." That question student muttered.

"Ruby, why are you-"

"Weiss, it'd be less awkward to do it naked like the teacher instead of doing it dressed." Ruby said as she finished got out of her clothes.

"Well actually, I'm making it optional for the first class, flower child. This isn't something most people are willing to do in the first day. Some people just don't confidence in their bodies or are a bit reserved." Oceanbird remarked. "I used to be the second."

Blake and Yang were already naked, and Weiss begrudgingly did it not wanting to make it awkward. The class itself was not all that bad…everyone else even joined in the nude. Blake set up in the back corner not wanting to bend over in front of everyone. Weiss swore she was being ogled by another woman. Yang was in the center while Ruby was in front. A real barrage of stretching, moments, and finding one's center. Even if there were hiccups.

"Amanda, was it? Sorry that you pulled a muscle. Let me help you. You may feel a pinch." Oceanbird said before striking a pressure point to relax her muscle.

That worked a bit too well as Amanda's leg bucked and she…ended up squirting right in Weiss's face.

"If that's a pinch, I'd hate to see a punch." Amanda said a bit too relaxed for her liking. "But thank you."

Oceanbird gently got a towel to wipe Weiss's face. By the end of the class, everyone was dressed again.

"Thank for you all so much for attending. I'll be holding classes twice a week. Maybe in the future, we could do this on an actual beach." Oceanbird said. "You can follow me on LifeInvader. Link's on the little note on the mirror."

The four had given that app a glance as it seems their profiles on it where always set with Ronl and Ivory in their friends list. Ruby was the one to add Oceanbird to her friends list. It was a small mercy that gym got the four girls track shorts. Weiss was especially relived.

"Thanks for coming with me, but I'm sorry you were dragged into it. No idea there, really." Mary-Ann said giving them the envelope with the promised cash from Ronl. "But I do feel bad, so here."

She gave them a waiver.

"That's good to get you half-off at some new store that opened up under some company. XanTech or something." Mary-Ann remarked. "Don't exactly know what they sell, haven't bothered to check it out myself."

"Mind if I get your LifeInvader? I could someone to run with when I'm not doing anything." Ruby asked.

"Oh, sure." Mary-Ann said.

Mary-Ann would take her leave after one of the gym workers mentioned her bike was ready to be wheeled out. The four got a Mission Completed from the system and the enveloped vanished with $700 added to each of their 'wallets'. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang would walk out of Muscle Gymnasium in a better mood then before.

"So, want to check out that shop?" Ruby asked.

"Well, I guess we could do that." Blake remarked. "I'm curious."

The four got in their rides using their mini-map to guide them. They did not exactly have to drive too far, just into the district of Burton. They would get a pleasant surprise when they rode by Vinewood Bar and Grill on their way to Rockford Plaza.

"Is that Velvet?" Blake said slowing her motorcycle down to see if he really was.

It certainly was her, she'd recognized the rabbit ears. However, she was clearly older clearly looking fully grown. Blake came to a stop first taking off her helmet.

"Velvet? Velvet Scarlatina?" Blake asked.

One could hear the breaking of glass as Velvet dropped her drink on the ground.

"Blake Belladonna?" Velvet said with a more matured voice. "No way…you look you haven't aged a day since I last saw you in Beacon."

"Wait, you remember?" Blake said. "But you look older…"

"Well that what happens when you end up here for eight years." Velvet remarked as the rest of the team came to a stop.

"Eight yea-but we've only been here a few days." Blake said as Velvet looked concerned.

Blake would give Velvet a ride who offered some explanation. Conveniently, they all were going to the same place, the XanTech store that Velvet revealed she ran. After parking at the nearby apartment complex, All's Swell, they began to walk over to the store.

"I didn't want to ask, how are you walking around with rabbit ears? I don't think faunus exist in this world." Ruby asked.

"People don't ask or think I'm some of furry. Apparently, a subculture of people obessing over anthromorphic animals." Velvet explained as they went around back.

She opened the front door to the shop and let them in. The shop was odd, full of various clothing and items that felt out of place…at least in this world from they had seen so far. The shop had white design, a futuristic feel. Velvet closed the shop door locking it before taking them to the back office.

"Ok, so you only arrived here a few days this year. Do you even know what year it is?" Velvet asked.

"It's 2016." Weiss said looking at her phone.

"Freaky, as me and my team arrived to this world in 2008." Velvet mused.

"So, the rest of your team is here, where are they?" Yang asked as Velvet's look darkened.

"We don't talk anymore." Velvet said tersely. "Not after what happened to Fox and Yatsu."

"What happened to them?" Weiss asked concerned.

"We got mixed up in some shady shit. We needed citizenship and we had to work underground. Coco…she got mixed up with a lady that took advantage of us. Elizabata Torres, or as I call…bitch. She was a drug kingpin. Coco…changed. Her womanizing got worse…" Velvet remarked.

"Coco's a lesbian?" Blake asked surprised.

"The shades are to hide her leering eyes. I feel just gross saying that…it isn't cool when a guy does…but Coco thought it's fair game for her." Velvet said sourly. "Either way, we met other people. I met a man who walked a path of bloodshed, but he was the closest thing to a hero in that city. Niko Bellic. He taught me how to fight among other things. He was among the few people I could trust in the damn city. Elizabata was getting paranoid, thinking the cops were closing in. When she cut ties with Niko, she turned to me. Now Torres didn't like me, but I didn't like her. I only worked with her because I needed the money."

"I assume that came to an end." Weiss said as Velvet nodded.

"When I was told to make a choice, I cut ties and sided with Nico. Her paranoia got worse…and she had Yatsu stalking me. At least Yatsu had the fucking niceness to just straight up tell me he was just doing it to appease her. I had stayed with Niko eventually getting my citizenship in the process. Elizabata was killing peeps left and right to get the heat off her, but it was me. I was the one who blew the whistle and sold her out in exchange for that citizenship. I wouldn't meet up with any of my old team until a year later. I was still in Liberty, but I had wound up working for the Liberty City Triads. Long story short, I saved their master at arms and their heir's life. Yatsuhashi was a police officer under a group of undercover cops. He revealed to me that Elizabata had shot Fox thinking he had ratted her out. He also told me what happened to Coco." Velvet said with a sigh. "Guess what happened?"

"Prison?" Ruby asked.

"No, when I met Yatsu again next year, he told what happened. She apparently stole all of Torres' cash and a few pounds of coke before ditching Torres. Turns out Coco's womanizing had paid off in seducing Torres' drug mule, Marta. It was Marta that put the blame on Fox on the stolen drugs. I don't know if Coco told her to do it or it was just her idea, but Coco let it happen. That got Yatsu to bounce. Yatsu's working with a covert government organization. At least that's all he could tell me before he disappeared from my life. I don't know where he is, how he even got involved in that, but I know he cut ties with Coco. As for what was my piece of shit leader, don't know and don't care." Velvet said. "Then I ended up under XanTech's wing, but that's another story."

Team RWBY explained their story and Velvet got a laugh.

"So, you got the System too? You're lucky. I didn't get it until 2009." Velvet mused. "But let me open the shop."

Velvet opened up the shop and got behind the counter.

"Welcome to XanTech, home of oddities in clothing, vehicles, healing items, weapons." Velvet remarked.

"Weapons?" Ruby said excitedly.

"Yes, but it's a bit limited for you as in the stock given your ranking. Up your skills and rep, and I'll have more for you to access." Velvet explained. "But yeah, we got FusionFall Era weapons of melee, pistol, throwing items, shatterguns, rifles, and rocket class. Also got FF Era clothing."

"We'll check your clothes out first." Blake said going over to the racks.

They got the game menu and looked through the stock available. It did give the option to try them on. Blake selected the Basic Goth Shirt thinking it made for something decent to sleep in even if it was a bit big for her. Weiss gotten a few things for herself, Ruby was excitedly trying on plenty of things, and Yang was grinned at a few having a few ideas.

Blake settled to buy that Basic Goth Shirt along with a pair of leather Basic Rocker Pants and a pair of Basic Camo Boots. Weiss set herself to buy the Basic Iris Tunic, a Basic Jigsaw Shirt to sleep in, Basic Cuffed Shorts, and a pair of Basic Token Sneakers. Yang set a Signed Ace Jacket, a pair of Basic Fastener Pants, and Basic Dino Sneakers (She knew they looked childish, but she liked them enough to buy them.).

"Ruby, you done?" Blake asked as Ruby came up with her picks.

A Basic Kindergoth Shirt, an Albedo Jacket, a Basic Freshman Skirt, a pair of Basic Crocodile Sneakers. She also got an accessory, namely a High Seas Swabbie (a red bandana with a white skull on it) and a cute bunny shaped backpack called the Bunny Bag.

"Hey, Velvet. You got these bandanas in different colors?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, let me get them." Velvet said going in the back and coming out. "One in black, blue, and yellow. They're higher-level gear, but I'll sell them to you for the same price of the High Seas Swabbie. Your total comes to…"

"We have a waiver." Blake said giving him to her.

"Oh, then. Then your total comes up fifteen hundred." Velvet said as the team split the bill. "Your items have sent to your closet."

Their purchases vanished.

"Now for the weapons!" Ruby said excitedly.

"What class of weapon?" Velvet asked.

"Rifles." Ruby remarked.

"Oh…we're fresh out on Rifles. Now that I think on it, considering your rank…the options are all too much. I think it's best you come back. But if you do need weaponry, I do know someone but…he may be a bit shifty. There's an apartment building on Magellan Avenue on Vespucci Beach…they'll be a black van in the parking lot with the symbol of the White Fang on the side." Velvet said as Ruby took down the details on her phone. "He only operates at night."

"There are others here?" Blake asked.

"Apparently. I remember XanTech telling that the moment you four showed up…that would be our Remnant's final curtain and more would show up here. There are those like me and my team so showed up earlier in the timeline. The company is keeping tabs…which is not really a surprise given the person in charge of the company is from Remnant…well another version of Remnant." Velvet said as Team RWBY's jaws dropped.

"Can you-"

"I have frankly said enough. I can't tell you his name. If he wants you to know, he'll let you know. All I can say is Ivory knows who he is…they're friends of a sort." Velvet said.

"Ok, can you tell at least tell us who's here already?" Blake asked.

"Like my mother, is she alive?" Ruby asked.

"No. Anyone who died before the starting point isn't coming back. Most likely, her grave is on this universe someplace justifying your existence along any other dead parents." Velvet said as Ruby looked saddened. "As for who's here now, a good chunk of the White Fang all of the world, Roman and his sidekick work for XanTech, Junior and the Malachite twins work for XanTech, Team SSSN had showed up last week…they work for the De Santa family, along with a few others that you'll find out soon enough."

At the very least, the fact they could see their parents again was a reliving thing. But Blake caught that name.

"De Santa? We just met a De Santa in our tai chi class. Amanda De Santa." Blake said.

"Micheal's wife. That's them…they shop here too, you know. Seeing we're friends, I'll point you over to their wife. It's on Portola Drive, a really lavish mansion." Velvet said before put two packages on the table. "You can deliver the packages to Micheal for me."

"Sure." Weiss said taking them up.

"And one last thing, you're going to need underwear. Lucky for you, those under the System get a free set." Velvet said producing it before it vanished into blue light. "Plain stuff these, you'll have to buy the stylish stuff."

The four bid goodbye to Velvet before leaving for Portola Drive.

"Whoa, look at these houses! Each one literally has a pool!" Ruby said excitedly.

"This feels like if Menagerie melded over the richer parts of Atlas." Blake said observant. "And there's the place."

They rolled up and the gate opened for them allowing them to park and depart up to the front door. Weiss knocked on the door which was opened by Jimmy De Santa.

"Well, well, what can do for you fine ladies, today?" Jimmy said trying to sound suave.

Yang tried not to laugh at the attempt.

"We're here to deliver your packages from Velvet." Weiss said as Jimmy took them both.

"And also here to see Sun Wukong." Blake said.

"Oh, well you'll have to wait a few minutes. He's in the middle of…well helping the maid." Jimmy said letting them in. "In need of a drink? I know my stuff around booze."

"Strawberry sunrise?" Yang asked.

"Sure." Jimmy said going off to the kitchen to make said drink.

"Yang, are you sure you want to drink and drive?" Weiss asked.

"Pfft…it's just one drink." Yang said as Jimmy returned with it. "Thank you, stud."

Yang was halfway through the drink when Neptune came out.

"Yo, Jimmy. Sun's done with the ma-Weiss?" Neptune said.

"Neptune." Weiss said glad to see a familiar face.

"Jeez, you're here too." Neptune said.

"Only for a bit less time then you and your group. How've you been?" Weiss asked.

"Good good…work for this family, paid well, even got other my fear of water….mostly." Neptune said with a chuckle. "And you?"

"Just trying to make some cash." Weiss said awkwardly. "And get some amazon chick off of owning our butts."

Before Neptune could respond, his phone rang to which he answered.

"What I can do you, Micheal? Your wife's in a pickle with the police. All right…I'll get her. I'll get the guys together." Neptune said before hanging up and get out a Pump Shotgun. "Looks like I'm going cop killing."

"It's pretty fucked how casual you are with it." Yang said. "Then again, I'm the last person to do saying that."

Sun, Sage, and Scarlet came down. The reunion did not last long, but they got their LifeInvaders and numbers before they all took their leaves.

"What do you want to do to now?" Ruby remarked.

"Look for work." Blake remarked. "Or we look into getting a safehouse? Our mini-maps should be able to find us something."

The day was still bright, and the team sought something to do via splitting up. Blake thought back to those team names and had a decision in mind.

Current Stats:

(A/N: For those who realize who the guy behind XanTech, don't spoil it for those who don't. Team SSSN everyone. I figured I'd reveal a few more faces and show that not everyone changed for the better here. Next up with this miniseries, we conclude the day. As for why, team CFVY of all teams broke up, this was another shot at the crappy RWBY novels for butchering characters. (NDGO's next on my chopping block.))

Timeline Changes: While I never did get to play GTA IV, the Lost and Damned, or the Ballad of Gay Tony, I did play Chinatown Wars. Velvet basically drifted through games, but she did make one change. Ling Shan didn't die because of Velvet saving her. One could say being on the sidelines seeing Nico's beloved die drove her to protect who she could. Obviously, Coco saved Marta from being possibly imprisoned.
