Raw: November 5, 2012

I smiled as I sat in the locker-room. I hadn't thrown up since Thursday, so I decided to still come to work tonight and tomorrow. Randy didn't have a match tonight, but he knew that Alberto Del Rio did have a match tonight. Randy wanted to stick around for that one. I smiled as I looked through pictures on my phone. I had many pictures with Randy on my phone, but I also had many pictures from my career, which had been very successful especially over the past few years, on my phone as well. I looked at the door as I heard a knock. I get up to open the door.

As I open the door, Eve is standing on the other side.

Eve smiles at me. "Uh, hey, do you have time to talk, Rissa?"

I nod. "Yeah, I have time to talk. Come in."

"Thanks." Eve follows me into the locker-room.

I close the door behind us. "So what's going on?"

"I think that I owe you an apology. Actually, I probably owe you a few apologies honestly."

I nod. "Okay?"

"We haven't been on good terms for like what, seven months now? I made a decision that went against what you liked. I didn't care because I decided that I wanted power. John Laurinaitis even tried to blackmail you into dropping the lawsuit, and I remained to side with him. We both know I shouldn't have. I'm sorry. I ran my mouth about things that were way out of line. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have held your tights to win the Divas Championship and retain it the first time against you. I'm sorry."

I give Eve a serious look. "Admittedly, it may be a little hard to fully forgive you quite yet, but I am open to working on being friends again."

"Okay, that's completely understandable. I'll apologize to Randy too."

"Okay, I do have a question for you though."

"What's that?"

"Why did you have Aksana attack Kaitlyn at Night of Champions?"

"Between you and me, I just really wanted the opportunity to face you in a singles match for the Divas Championship, but I didn't want the attack tracked back to me. That worked out great." Eve laughs.

"I see."

"Anyway, how are you feeling? Ryse was telling me that you weren't feeling so good recently."

"Yeah, I've been really tired. I threw up a couple of times. I've had to use the bathroom a lot. I'm over throwing up, but I'm still tired a lot."

"That sounds really odd."

"No kidding. I have no idea what's going on with me."

"Well I hope you figure it out."

"You and me both, Eve."

"Anyway, I'm tagging with Aksana tonight to face Kaitlyn and Layla."

"I knew about that. Sounds fun."

"To be honest, Aksana kinda annoys me though."

I laugh. "She actually kinda annoys me too, Eve."

Eve also laughs. "I missed this."

"Yeah, I missed this too. I missed this a lot."

Randy walks in. "Hey, Rissa, I…hey, Eve."

Eve smiles. "Hey, Randy. I need to go get ready for my match. See you both later."

"See ya." I reply as Eve leaves.

Randy gives a confused look.

I smile at him. "We'll talk about this later."

"Okay, Rissa."

Randy gives me a serious look. "So Eve apologized to you?"

I nod as I was changing into pajamas. "Yes, Randy. Eve apologized to me about everything."

"Everything?"

"Yes, everything from siding with John Laurinaitis to using my tights to pin me in a couple Divas Championship matches."

"Did you accept her apology?"

"Not fully. I told her that it may be a little hard to fully forgive her quite yet, but I am open to working on being friends with her again."

"Well I hope it works out between the two of you."

"It'll take some time, but I'm sure we'll be fine eventually."

"You should be eventually. Where's my apology though?"

"She told me that she was going to apologize to you too, Randy. Relax."

Randy laughs. "If you say so."

"She said it."

"How are you feeling?"

"I feel fine."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure."

Randy grabs me and lifts me up. "Are you certain?"

"I'm certain."

Randy moves me, so he's carrying me bridal style. "You are beautiful. I'm glad you're feeling alright, Rissa."

"Why do you like holding me like this?"

"Because I find it quite enjoyable. You seem annoyed when I do it sometimes. It's funny."

"You're such a pain in the ass."

"But I'm your pain in the ass."

"Whatever. Put me down."

Randy gently lays me on the bed. "There you go, sweetheart."

"Thank you."

"It's weird that you aren't wrestling."

"I know, but it'll just be something that takes time for us to get used to. I think I'm gonna read a letter."

"How many?"

"I think just one tonight."

"Oh. Alright."

I get the letter numbered thirty-four out to read.

Date: April 4, 2005

Dear Marissa, I saw your match tonight. Congratulations on your first win in a match on TV. It's only your second match on TV at least, so I'm very proud of you. It seems that they're going to start utilizing you on TV more. I hope that you end up receiving the opportunities that you are trying to get.

I know that I haven't been there for most of your life, but I want to be there for you now. Even if it has to be just supporting you through your career for the time being, that is fine with me. I believe you still need a parent to be there supporting you. Your father is gone now, so it should be me who picks where he left off, as long as you're okay with that.

Love, Mom

I put the letter down before looking at Randy with tears in my eyes. "Babe, will you hold me? I think I'm gonna cry."

Randy pulled me close. "I'm here. If you need to say anything, I'm listening."

"Okay, thanks, Randy."
