Now we're gonna see how Leni does on her date with the guy she's been seeing, the guy known as Kurt Logann, the OC that was made by Deviantart Author "RuhisuArt" things will be understood and made clear, and Kurt will understand how Leni has been doing and perhaps a spark will ignite between the two. Chapter 208: Leni and Kurt.
(Somewhere in Bay City.)
At a nice and calming restaurant somewhere in the city, Leni Lauren is walking towards the place. She takes a moment to look to the time on her watch and then she looks to the restaurant called "Shakey's."
'Okay Leni, you can do this. You can do this. Even though you have never, ever had anyone ask you out on a date before. Wait, how come though?'
Then she recalls the times when she was in Middle School and High School, and when some guys came over to ask her out, those guys would be shoved away by either Lori, or by Leni's friends. Because they knew that those guys would be into Leni for her looks and not who she is, also they didn't want her to be faced with some dark stuff that the random boy might do/
'Right, Middle School and High School boys always liked me for my kindness and my beauty. They never really appreciated what my true feelings meant. Well, this is a new Leni and I am about to go and see if this guy likes me for who I am now.'
Leni then steps in and she sees the guy waiting by one of the tables and that guy sees her and waves, that guy is: Kurt Logan.
Kurt Logann – an 18 year old man who is soon to be 19. Son of a legendary NASCAR driver and a rookie to Nick Motorsports. He already finished his studies in High school and is looking forward to his next race and to show everyone what he can do. He is still in college and is continuing with that education.
A compassionate, kind, caring and determined man, but he would always put Family first, like his little sister Danica.
Attire: dark blue t-shirt with a black jacket that has the image of a racecar at the back and the number 68, dark gray jeans and black shoes.
The man smiles at the sight of the girl he met days ago, and he's also impressed at how she looks to.
Leni Lauren – recently became 17 last month and is the former daughter of the Louds, and now a changed girl after some observation at the Bay City Medical Rehabilitation Center. She no longer has the same ditzy self she had long ago, but she's still kind-hearted and talented in fashion.
A kind-hearted, sort of smart, caring and protective girl, but she would put her family first and is determined to go back home when her job is done.
Attire: pink crop top inside of a teal jacket and blue jeans with a black belt. Teal slip-on shoes and pink bracelets and pink hoop earrings, she even decided to wear her signature shades above her head. She put on some makeup to look nice.
The duo then walk up to each other, both of them looking at each other and both looking pretty nervous. "Hi." They stop when they realize they said that at the same time.
"Oh, sorry." they stop when they said it again.
The duo end up laughing a bit, Kurt then pulls the chair for Leni. "Such a gentleman, and thank you."
"No problem Leni." Kurt Logann takes his seat and he takes the menu from her. "Sorry, but we're not gonna be needing this. I ordered us some pizza, garlic sticks and some pasta and also some iced tea. Is that okay with you?"
Leni nods. "Yeah, and I can tell that you didn't know what to do because you've never went out with a lady before."
Kurt turns red and chuckles nervously. "Not wrong, even though I did went out to dinner once with my mom and also my little sister. But, I know those don't count because I knew them and what they would like."
Leni giggles. "Don't be. I never went on a date with a guy before, and I would be told not to otherwise they'd take advantage of me for my…"
"Looks? Yeah, I think I can understand that" said Kurt Logann. "My guy pals would get me some girls to date with, but I wouldn't go for it and told them I would wait on my own terms with the girl who I would meet and call someone I can relate too."
Leni didn't quite get this. But, we don't have anything to relate to. We don't have anything to understand from each other."
"Except for the determination to let family be first, right?" said Kurt. This surprises Leni. Kurt realized what he just said and so he tells her. "I umm, looked up the problem you had, sorry."
Leni sighs and then she smiles. "Don't be, what happened was something out of my control and the old me." She then asks. "So, what did you think of the whole ordeal that happened last year to my former family?"
Kurt Logann had to be honest. "Honestly, I am a bit disappointed. You let your own brother go through that kind of torture and never did see the issue at hand. Thus making the whole family be torn apart by their own mistakes with the belief of good luck, because I am not into the whole superstitious junk. I don't need a good luck charm, I just have the will and determination with skill and talent to do so."
Leni looks down in sadness, feeling upset that he would hate her.
"But, I know that was the past and at that time of you being the not so smart type, but look at you now. Changed and learning to be a better person to seek redemption from the mistakes you made. You didn't know what you were doing and the others manipulated you into something that was wrong."
"And even though they did make mistakes, you saw past them and would still try and give them redemption and rekindle what the family lost, and that you would try to start with the former brother and sister you knew and love. That, I am proud from you, Leni Lauren."
Leni looks towards Kurt and she sees the smile on his face that makes her feel warm and comfortable.
Leni sports a smile as well, to show that she's okay now. 'Oh wow. His smile is so… So adorbs and he looks so cute looking towards me. He's so understanding.'
What the heck is happening in Kurt's mind? 'Well, that wasn't quite the way I wanted to tell her how I knew about her, but she does have this smile that's caring and she looks cute when she's blushing. Wow, she's beautiful and compassionate as I am.'
Then they're food arrives and they look onto it. "Wow. This looks delicious, we should probably dig in now" said Leni.
"Yeah, can't let this go to waste" said Kurt. They both eat their food and continue to talk about themselves and then Leni reveals that she found out some stuff about him and that she's happy that he would always put his family first and do what he can to make them proud.
They eventually share some stuff about each other and some important things that would be given to those they can trust and deep down, they feel as if they can trust each other.
(Later.)
Kurt and Leni walk down the city, Kurt took the bus and not his car and so the duo walk and talk about some other things.
"Kinda shocks to me that you have such a big family and I know that you all loved each other very much" said Kurt.
"Yeah, and even though I was dumb and not the sharpest Loud in the sibling group, they would still love me and show me some respect. But I did question if Lisa loved me, even though I care about her" said Leni. "I still recall memories of when Lisa would be disgusted by my oblivious and dumb nature."
"But I know that it's not in your nature to just be angry at that person, right?" said Kurt.
Leni shakes her head in denial. "No. I still see her as family, I still see all of them as family. That kind of spark started when Lincoln and Luna first came to visit and wanted to see me recover and become a changed kind of gal and gave me hope to one day go back home and show everyone that I am changed."
"Must've been scary to know about the whole tumors ordeal, and I am sorry for that happening to you the whole time" replied Kurt.
"Yeah, it was. My parents are the hardest part of forgiving, since they were dumber than me to not even let me get a proper checkup from the doctors" replied Leni. "At least that issue has been dealt with, and now I can think, see and learn clearly now, and when I do go back to Royal Woods, then I am totes gonna go back to school."
"And I know you will do better than the old Leni, you have that spark of determination in your eyes that says so" said Kurt. He blushes when he said that and how close they are while walking to each other.
Leni blushes hearing those words from him and she slowly walks close to Kurt which makes him nervous, but he sucks it up and calms down. They were both feeling like this small allure from each other and some kind of spark coming within their hearts.
(Medical treatment and rehabilitation facility.)
The duo arrive to the location and Leni looks towards Kurt. "Thanks for walking me here, I appreciated it."
Kurt chuckles. "Kinda like when I brought you here in my ride days ago and hey, I didn't want you to be harmed by anyone who would take advantage of you for just your looks. Because a person like you is beautiful inside and out. I can see that."
Leni giggles, which makes Kurt blush and chuckles. Both of them having the same thoughts. 'Wow. He's/She's so cute.'
"Well, I should be going now." Leni then goes over to Kurt and places a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks again for walking me here. You're a true gentlemen to do that, even though you have never been on a date, this was nice and I look forward to when we have another one."
Kurt blushes and he snaps out of the trance. "Y-Yeah, me too. Bye, see you when I do come by to Bay City."
"Same, and good luck on the race, even though you don't need it" said Leni. She then walks back to the facility, but she's unaware that the staff see her from the window and are happy for her.
Kurt sees her wave to him as she closes the door and he waves back to her and he walks to the nearest bus stop with something on his mind. 'Wow. Leni she's…. Wow, I can't wait to see her again and… Wait a sec, what the heck will my parents say when I tell them this?'
Leni on the other hand goes into the elevator and feels happy in her heart. 'He truly is something and I look forward to whatever happens to either of us. I hope he'll come by to visit Royal Woods for when I do have to go back.'
She then recalls Lincoln and Luna, and she couldn't wait for the time when she tells them about her date with Kurt Logann, and she should thank her friends in Royal Woods for giving her the information about him.
(The Loud House.)
Lincoln is fast asleep and he turns as he whispers Leni's name. Luna notices this as she changes into her sleepwear and she smiles. 'Just you wait kiddo, we'll visit her again soon. But for now, tomorrow awaits us, all of us.'
Luna looks to the calendar and what she has marked, and this is the same one in Michelle's bedroom, the calendar is marked for tomorrow: The Funeral of the Eldest Lewis, and the grand move of the Lewis Family Mansion.
A/N: That was a nice starting date for both parties and they will soon meet again, or probably Kurt might meet Lincoln and Luna, and let's hope trouble won't start up, like if the twins wanna come and Lucy and the other friends at the High School, but for now, let us focus on what comes tomorrow.
