More characters introduction!

Danny's POV

After Mr. and Mrs. Henderson dropped off their daughter, Jessica, she was a handful. But overall, she was a nice kid. Right now she's watching television with Abby, Putzie and the kiddos. I offer to babysit them while my folks run some errands. As I was finishing putting the dishes in the dishwasher after dinner, the phone rang. "I'll get that!" I called out as I went out in the hall. "Hello?" I answered it.

"Hello, is the the Zukos' residence?" I heard the doctor asked.

I stood froze.

"I-Is m-my f-folks alright?" I asked, fearing for the worst.

"No, it's the Hendersons." He answers.

I sigh of relief.

"W-what happened to them?" I asked. "Are they ok?"

I heard the doctor let out a sigh.

"They uh…they were held hostage by a crazed man in there home." The doctor explained. "The one of their neighbors saw an intruder broke in and wait until Fredrick and Wendy went to their house."

I literally just felt the world crash down on me.

"W-what?" I coked.

"They didn't make it." He adds.

I was speechless.

"Danny?" I turned around to see Shane standing next to me. "When is Mr. and Mrs. Henderson picking us up. Shelly is getting sleepy."

I felt my heart broke for him, why is everything happening to these innocent children! First their mother and now their adoptive parents!

"Uh thanks Doc, I'll inform my folks when they get home." I said quietly to the phone before hanging up. "Uh Jessica, how about you get the kids ready for bed."

"I'll do it later." She said.

"Jessica, please!" I ordered. "Beside I have to talk to Putzie and Abby alone."

She huffs.

"Whatever." She said with an attitude.

I rolled my eyes at her as she carried Shelly up the stairs with Daisy and Shane behind her as I walked in the living room where Putzie and Abby sat up.

"What's the matter Danny?" Abby asked.

"Is something's wrong?" Putzie asked.

I let out a sigh.

"I got a call from the hospital and the Henderson were held hostage in their own home by an intruder." I explained.

Abby gasped quietly.

"Wait seriously?" Putzie asked.

I nodded my head.

"Wait, my Mom and dad are dead?" We turned to see Jessica standing in the living room.

I let out a sigh.

"Y-yes." I admit.

"No, they can't be!" Jessica cried.

I felt my heart broke for the kid.

"Shhh, it's gonna be ok sweetie." Abby said getting up and comforted her.

"No, I'm gonna be alone." Jessica sniffs.

Then I got an idea.

"No you're not." I stated as I walked over to her. "Cause I'm gonna adopt you, Shany and Shelly."

Putzie, Abby and Jessica all looked at me.

"Really?" She asked.

I nodded my head.

"Oh thank you Danny!" She smiled while hugging me. "Can we go see my folks, I want to say goodbye?"

"Sure." I said.

"We'll stay here with the kids until Mr. and Mrs. Zuko gets back." Putzie offers.

"Yeah." Abby agreed.

"Thanks guys." I smiled.

"Good luck sweetie and remember, they'll always be here." Abby started as she pointed to her heart.

"Thanks Abby, I've never had any big sisters, I'm so glad you're here." Jessica smiled as Abby hugs her again.

So we said our goodbyes and headed out to my car as we drove all the way to the hospital and I parked my car, I turned to Jessica.

"You're gonna be ok kid?" I asked her.

She nods her head and we got out as we walked inside the hospital, I put my hand on her shoulder to comfort her.
