Putzie's POV

Abby and I were cuddling on the couch until we heard Shelly crying, so we both ran upstairs to Daisy's bedroom. "Putzie! Abby! Shelly had a bad nightmare." Daisy told us as Abby cradled Shelly in her arms.

"Shhh, it's ok baby girl." Abby comforted her.

"I want my momma and daddy!" Shelly cried.

Abby and I shared a sad glance, I guess we have to tell them.

"Sweetheart…" I started as I sat on the bed, Putting Shane on my lap. "Kiddos, y-your m-mommy and daddy are…n-never coming back." I cringed at the last words.

"What do you mean?" Shane asked.

I let out a sigh.

"Buddy, they're d-d…" I started.

I can't say it!

"Abby, a little help please." I begged.

"Kids, I'm so sorry to tell you this but your mommy and your daddy are…they're d-d…" She started.

She gave me a sad glance.

"Are you guys trying to say…that Mr. and Mrs. Henderson…a-are dead?" Daisy asked us.

We nodded our head.

"Dead?" Shane asked.

I nodded at the kid.

"We're all alone." Shane stated as tears well up in his eyes.

"No you are not Shany," Abby said. "You kids will never ever be alone."

"Promise?" Shane asks.

Abby nods.

"We'll make sure you kids are safe and happy." I added.

"Where's Danny and Jessie?" Shane asked.

"They're at the hospital right now," I explained. "But when Uncle Dylan and Auntie Diane get back, we'll all go the hospital.

Shane climb off of my bed and walked over to Daisy's bed.

"I miss them." He quietly says.

We stared at him sadly.

"Momma and daddy…gone?" Shelly asked.

"Yes honey, but don't you worry Danny's gonna adopt you kids." I told her, but knowing she won't understand.

"He is?" Daisy asked as she held Shane in her arms.

I nodded.

"But first he has to talk with your folks and Sandy about it." I told her.

"Oh." She said.

I sad-smiled at her.

"Come on, bed time." I said as I tucked them back in bed again.

"We'll be downstairs ok." Abby told them as they nodded their heads.

So we said goodnights to the kids and left the room, to watch Television downstairs but had it on low so we can hear the kids.
