"Hello, folks of the medical department! Does anyone here want to come with me to a diplomatic mission in Kjerag? There are two slots left so hurry up. First come, first served!" Lin Ye shouted as he strode into the Medical Department's office.
Ansel, who was sitting in a chair analyzing biological samples, couldn't take it anymore and abruptly stood up. He walked up to Lin Ye while glaring at him and scolded him.
"You're insufferable!"
Lin Ye tries to calm him down," Hey, hey, calm down now bunny boy"
"What did you just call me?!"
"Amiya asked me to come here to retrieve the medicine for Kjerag's locals. I figured I should do something if I'm passing by" Lin Ye wisely chose to ignore the bunny boy's outburst...
At this moment, Ptilopsis came over while rubbing her eyes...with a blindfold still covering them.
"Dr. Lin, you interrupted our work." Lin Ye glanced at her.
"Do you think you can still work while blindfolded?"
"It's too bright here. Sleeping without a blindfold is impossible."
"Didn't you say that you were working?"
Ptilopsis tilted her head for a moment before she revealed an expression of realization.
"Yes, Dr. Lin, thank you for your reminder,"
"You little..." he was about to give both her cheeks a good pinching.
"It's alright." At this moment, Silence came out to speak, saving Ptilopsis from Lin Ye's hands.
"Although Kal'tsit didn't say anything about it. I think sending a medic operator would be for the best. That way, we can guarantee the diplomatic group's safety while also making sure that our drugs wouldn't harm any of the locals in Kjerag. So then, who wants to volunteer?"
After she finished speaking, Lin Ye scans the staff in the medical department with expectant eyes.
Rhodes Island's medical department is pretty much filled with women, with only a handful of men in between.

"No one wants to go?" Silence asks.
Hibiscus says, "I can't go, I'm a Sarkaz, do I need to say more?"
Lin Ye nods understandably.
SIlence silently says "How about you Myrrh, can you go?"
A bespectacled girl with short red hair and petite figure perks up.
When asked by Silence, she pushed up her glasses and said in an apologetic tone
"I'm sorry but work here is already tight! Besides, we're already approaching the deadline for some of our medicine orders. I really can't leave the landship right now."
Silence, who obviously knows about the situation on the drug side, nodded while massaging her forehead.
"Right, we can't delay those orders anymore. You really can't leave."
Then she turns her gaze towards Ptilopsis.
She understands what Silence is about to ask and immediately answered
"Is it really necessary for Ptilopsis to go with Dr. Lin? But Ptilopsis's work is still not done, I am afraid that I can't make it."
Lin Ye stared at her with a blank expression that says "I'll believe you once I stare hard enough at you."
She meets his stare with her own look that says "I'm definitely not lying."
Lin Ye raises a brow.
While he and Ptilopsis were communicating with their faces, Silence glanced at Ansel.
"So...Ansel? Do you want to accompany Doctor Lin Ye to-?"
Ansel raised his hands up and spoke angrily*.*
"I won't go with him. The pharmaceutical team of the medical department has been swamped with so much work ever since Shining and Nightingale were transferred to the R department!"
Silence looked at Lin Ye with helplessness and said,
"Ansel is right. The Pharmaceutical team just doesn't have enough people after Shining and Nightingale were transferred."
It's no wonder that he hasn't seen Liz for quite some time. It turns out that she was transferred away. Lin Ye became a little bit disappointed. He had originally intended to come over and chat with Liz as well.
"Unfortunately, I also can't go with you." Silence spread her hands out,
"I have to stay and take care of Ifrit and taking Ifrit with you to Kjerag is impossible."

"I-If you say so. Dr. Olivia?"
"Haha. Yes, Dr. Lin Ye." she tried and failed to hide her laughter at his awkward expression. Seeing that she was laughing, he let out his own chuckles.
Everyone else looked at the two with their mouths wide open. Except for Ptiloplis who fell asleep while standing.
No one had called Silence by her name before!
When both of them were done laughing a voice was heard from behind. "I can go."
Someone was willing to accompany him?! Lin Ye was overjoyed and immediately turned around
"Wow, really? Thank you! And you are... Huh?"
But he didn't see anyone.
Am I going crazy?!
"Look down, big man."
He then follows the voice and looks down to see a person there.
The person is about one meter forty-ish, about the same as Amiya.
Only then did Silence notice the visitor. She became surprised. "Sussurro, when did you come back?"
"It's been ten minutes since I came back." The boy called Sussurro says, "But none of you saw me."
Ptilopsis comes over and rubs Sussurro's head,
Olivia continued from where the conversation left off. "So what did you say again."
Sussurro raises his head and looks at Lin Ye "I can follow you."
"... Are you a medical operator?"
Sussurro spoke lightly,
"Other than my height, I'm great at everything else. I've also already read the list of medicines you are going to take to Kjerag."
He observed Sussurro and thought that he looked so small.
He was holding a medkit and looked like a schoolboy that was coming home from school. But his words were a stark contrast to his appearance, which intrigued Lin Ye greatly.
Lin Ye smiles and nods "Okay then, you're in. I'm glad that you're willing to follow me."
Sussurro nods "Thank you. So when do we leave?
"We're leaving tomorrow."
Lin Ye asked, "But didn't you just return? Don't you need to rest?"
"It's fine, I can still handle that much." Sussuro waved his hands dismissively.
Lin Ye nodded, impressed by the little boy's perseverance.
Although it wasn't a girl accompanying him. Having a cute little Sussuro is also fine for Lin Ye. Besides, Lin Ye felt that Sussurro gave off a very familiar feeling.
At first, he couldn't recognize this feeling. He didn't realize this familiarity until Sussurro left and Ansel urged Lin Ye to go back quickly.

"Hmm, don't worry, I won't let you... uh, I mean how could I think about something wicked."
Lin Ye says with a smile,
"I just think that kid looks a lot like you."
"Like me?" Ansel frowned. "You mean Sussurro?"
"Yes."
"She isn't a child. In fact, she's not much younger than you in terms of age."
"Age doesn't matter. Just look at the appearance, you're both cute boys."
"...Huh?"
