An aftermath to see how Luna is doing and how badly she's been injured, and the results on where the fuck did Sue went off to, and this also wakes up so much concern into the heart of the boy who is her son, as well as the rest of the Louds from across the country. So, enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 221: The injuries and results.

(Royal Woods General Hospital.)

Outside of the room where they're helping recover Luna Loud, the family and friends of the teen are there. Albert, Myrtle, Harriet, Michelle, Delilah, the Rosato's, Sam and Lincoln.

Sully and Mazzy went on a one week spring break trip with their family.

They're all concerned for the survival of Luna, after she was tortured and brought so much harm after the ordeal from the former nurse and caretaker of Sunset Canyon, Sue. They were glad she's out of the picture, though jail would've done her better.

Sam is feeling scared, she didn't wanna lose Luna, but then she looks to the 12-year old boy who is deeply troubled by this. "Lincoln, it's gonna be okay little buddy, Lunes will pull through. She always has and I doubt she would wanna leave you alone, you know that."

Lincoln begins to whimper, and so Sam embraces the boy and he cries into her shirt. "I don't wanna lose her. I don't wanna lose my mom."

Sam knows how he feels and she continues to embrace the boy and try to comfort him for what had happened to Luna, and thank god she came back after her family trip, she came back to find this chaos.

The others feel bad for Lincoln, after all… Luna was the one who got him out of the damned mess from last year, and this is the sole reason why the legal guardian has become legally his mother. They know how much Luna means to him and why he would never want her to ever be gone.

Lincoln, his mind is clouded with so much fear and anger. He wishes he could've hurt Sue for what she did, and he's also in fear for losing the one former sibling who did what she could to make him feel like he would always be family, and Luna was that person.

If there was a god, then he would pray for everything to have Luna to be there with him.

Then Dr. Kendrick comes out of the room. "Guys, don't crowd me." They all get up, and calm down. "Alright, good. Now, Luna has suffered from so much damage, she pretty much seems fine after the beating she got, like she's used to it."

They know he's not wrong. Back when The Louds were a big family, sibling fights were the norm and they usually end with one of them able to walk off after the beat down.

Lincoln goes to the doctor. "There's more to this, isn't there?"

Dr. Kendrick nods. "Well, her lungs have lost so much oxygen from small damage to her throat, but no damages to her vocal cords, which are incredibly strong. She'll need to stay in bed for a while here if she's to recover."

"We also found out, that suffering from the loss of oxygen and being in a ships boiler room may have caused some unwanted toxins to enter her body, but luckily we were able to expunge them and she'll recover, but not as fast as you guys normally do. You guys can go see him now."

They all nod and go into the room, there they see her.

Luna Loud, the mother of Lincoln Loud, asleep on the hospital bed and wearing a hospital gown and with a mask in front of her mouth and nose connected to an oxygen tank so she may be able to breathe properly.

Her lungs have been damaged slightly and so surgery was done to check for anything to repair and now here she is, motionless and looking alone, and with tons of bandages from the bruises and cuts she got.

Lincoln walks closer to her left side and with Sam follow, and he begins to shed tears and he begins to sob. "Mom… Mom, no. Mom, please."

Sam goes over and cries with him as they embrace each other, then Albert goes over. "Guys, calm down. She'll be fine, Lunes just needs to rest up and heal and then she'll be back to her normal self again."

Jordan goes over and holds Lincoln's hand. "Your mom is resting, she's not gone Lincoln. Everything is gonna be okay now."

Lincoln holds her hand, and he knows that Jordan is right, and then he looks back to Luna. "Y-Yeah, you're right. My mom, she'll be okay and when she's all healed, then she'll be back to being my mom again, and then… Then we can go home, and be a family, like we always were."

Lincoln goes over and he kisses her cheek. "Please get well mom, I miss you already." He then let's Sam go over and kiss Luna as well.

"Don't worry babe, I'll watch over Lincoln, and with the help from the others too. You have my word, I will watch over our kid."

Lincoln smiles and he hugs Sam. Both of them with a spark of hope and courage to know that Luna has not met her end, and that she'll get back up, as she always has done. Plus, she's a Loud and Louds, they never give up and they never quit, no matter what painful things they face.

The group then leaves the hospital room, as they walk outside they run into Detectives StoneHeart, Merris and FutureTech representative, Jack Cyber.

They can tell that they're here to bring them some news about what has happened. "So, what's going on?" asked Michelle.

The two detectives look towards Jack Cyber to explain to them. "Sue's body is gone, I haven't found it."

This surprises them. "What?"

Jack Cyber nods. "Yeah, I took my submarine form and then entered my underwater traveler form and found nothing within the Saginaw Bay. We even sent out multiple Mini-Subs to find her remains, and yet nothing and we even tracked down the currents of the water and still none."

"We have reasons to believe that she was swept away and possibly consumed, but not by sharks, because sharks are not lured by human blood, unless something else came in and consumed her, we might as well confirm Sue is now deceased."

This makes them sigh in relief, but Harriet doesn't seem relieved by this and is more concerned. 'Hmm, what kind of beast would even dare to eat that wretched fool's corpse, and certainly no other myth in Michigan.'

Delilah goes to the cybernetic man. "Thank you for telling us this, sir."

Jack Cyber nods. "No problem. Now that my job here is done, I am gonna go back to my world and help rebuild a shattered world from a World War 2 against machines." He then walk down the halls to the elevator and what he said left some of them confused.

"Umm, what the heck did he just say?" asked Michelle.

As they all make their way down the halls, Lincoln holds Sam's hand and this gets the blonde teens attention. "Sam, I don't wanna be alone at the house tonight. I mean, I know Michelle and Delilah are there, but… I just… And I…"

Sam kneels down to his level and places her hands to his shoulders. "Linc, I understand and I know my family would too. I'll sleep over for the night, or until Luna is back to herself once again, I'll be there for you, because you need a mother figure you truly know and understand."

"We're okay with it too." Michelle and Delilah go to them and so does Harriet. "We're fine with you sleeping over, we know how much Lincoln needs you, since you are also a mother figure next to Luna."

Lincoln hugs Sam. "Thanks everyone, thank you."

Sam smiles and she hugs him back. "Anything to keep my little buddy from falling apart. We're all here for you Lincoln and Luna will be home soon, just don't lose hope, Lincoln."

(The Loud House.)

Night has fallen, and The Loud House is now termite free and so the Louds managed to unpack and load their stuff back inside, with the help of Harriet and her spectral ways.

The whole ordeal of what happened has already spread word and even to those who are formerly Louds have overheard and are not pleased, but they are grateful for Sue being no longer around, and yet they feel as if they should do something about that wretched former nurse.

It's only a matter of time before they do encounter the letters of the former family soon.

Lincoln is done changing into his orange and purple stripped pajamas and he looks to the necklace he has in his hands and he sighs, then someone places a hand on his shoulder, and he sees that it's Sam Sharp, dressed in a white t-shirt and pink shorts.

"Are you feeling okay Lincoln?"

Lincoln doesn't respond, and so he hugs Sam and she returns the embrace. "Shhh, everything's gonna be alright Lincoln. Nothing bad is gonna happen, Luna will come back soon. Be patient."

Lincoln whimpers in her arms. "Mom… she got hurt and… I didn't know what to… To do, mom."

Sam kisses his head and she brings him over to the lower bunk. "Linc, Luna did that to make sure you wouldn't suffer, and she tried her best and I would wanna beat her ass for hurting Luna, and for making you feel this way. But, it's long gone now and Luna is alive, well and healing. Let's be grateful it's all over now."

Lincoln nods and wipes away his tears, but is still upset. "I know, mom. I know."

Sam is always happy to hear this kid call her that, really does bring back the good and chill vibes from the dream she shared with Luna and Lincoln, the dream that was explained to them by their hero counterparts.

Sam then places Lincoln in bed and she joins him as well, since the kid shows no signs of ever letting go, which is normal to someone who needs comfort after nearly losing someone close to him, heck Sam would feel this way if something bad happened to Simon and she knows Simon would feel this way too.

Sam then looks down to the sobbing boy and she tightens the hug and kisses his forehead. "We're gonna okay Lincoln, everything is gonna be okay. You have my word, Luna will be back soon."
