I wanna give thanks again to my good pal "Marvelomac1010" for the new idea and concept for this new Ace Savvy and the Night Club Comic and it's gonna have a new member, and a whole lot of conflict, so enjoy reading this guys.
Family of Two.
Chapter 224: Ace Savvy and the Silver Storm.
(Deck City.)
We now go to the night time landscape of the city, and we see the Savviest Detective in the world, Ace Savvy and with him is his partner to deal out justice, One-Eyed Jack and the duo have finished stopping one epic robbery.
The duo stand on top of the High Roller and watch as the Old Maid is being put into the back of an armoured van. "Dang, tonight has been intense and I never thought the Old Maid would use her own scooter as a bomb. That was way too close to deal out Ace" said One-Eyed Jack.
Ace Savvy thinks about this. "A little too far for her, chances the Old Maid might be going through what Wild Card Willy once told us."
One-Eyed Jack knows what his partner means. "Indeed Ace, The Old Maid is going through… A mid-life Crisis and that is not an easy thing to get over, which means she is becoming way too desperate in her robberies."
"Another reason to why we should keep an eye on those other bad guys who are gonna go through this kind of conflict, but the real deal for me to know… The Old Maid is not really old?" said Ace Savvy.
One-Eyed Jack nods. "Same, I mean we always thought she was an old lady, but we never thought she took the title of her grandmother from long ago, now that is what I call dealing in the bloodline."
Ace Savvy chuckles. "Kinda like me." They then get into the High Roller. "Alright, Jack. Let's get back to the Lair of Solitaire."
But then they see a card on the hood of the vehicle and this card is a club. "Mom, she needs help." They take the card and read what it says and so they drive to the location, of the Night Club.
(Deck City Music Store.)
The place is closed and the dynamic card dealing duo leaps from rooftop to rooftop and they make it to the place and spot the heroine from Royal Woods, The mother of Ace Savvy, The Night Club.
The heroine looks to the duo and smiles, but she also has some concern. "Now, the issue I have is that… Ace, Blue Streak and Dodge Ball Queen have gone missing!"
"Wait what?!" The dynamic duo of card detective capering are surprised by this. "What do you mean they've gone missing?" asked Ace.
Night Club shows them her communicator. "I use this to contact them when something's wrong, and also track down their own communicators, but I can't see they're signals, I traced them all the way to the edge of town, and all I saw was what's left of their own devices."
Night Club shows them the ruined communicators, and the trackers are still on. Ace Savvy is now concerned and same goes for One-Eyed Jack, but the partner of the savviest detective takes the parts. "I think I can tinker with this and see the last moments they had before they went missing."
The Night Club nods and hands One-Eyed Jack the shattered communicators. "Alright, these little guys have a recording system, but due to the extended damage, I don't think I can tinker with this without damaging anything."
"Then leave that to my partner to dealing out crime" said Ace Savvy. "You got this One-Eyed Jack, we have to find the rest of the Deck Crew."
One-Eyed Jack nods. "You can count on me." He heads back to the High Roller with Ace and Night Club following, but then they stop and Ace looks to his mother.
"You have that feeling someone's watching you?" asked Ace Savvy, he readies his cards.
"No kidding." Night Club readies her own guitar, but the duo are knocked back by something and that something was a bolt of silver energy, and some lightning.
Night Club uses her axe to deflect the blasts. "Who the heck are you?!"
They see this figure standing on top of the nearby water tower and this figure looks pretty miffed.
"The names' Silver Storm and I wanna know. Where is she?!" She then sends another blast of energy, but they dodge and they toss their own arsenal of weapons but the Silver Storm dodges them and lands a few feet from where they are.
"I am not gonna ask again, so tell me now. Where the heck is she or there'll be more than just my bolts of silver lightning to the both of ya!"
The Silver Storm.
A year older than Ace Savvy, and has shoulder length, black hair that is silver on the edges and a silver streak to the back all the way to the bangs. She wears a silver mask with lightning bolt logos on them. A silver unitard with a white belt and silver streaks along the waist and back.
Silver boots and elbow length fingerless gloves and a small silver cape, and the cape has the logo of a silver lightning bolt.
Powers: She can manipulate lightning and any for of electricity into a powerful silver bolt of energy, let it be a lightning bolt or energy shot, she can even make a thunderclap with her hands and manipulate clouds to her will.
Identity: She is The Silver Storm by night, but by day she is the daughter of a business woman and the new manager of the Grand Streaks Corporation, her real name is Dalia S. Lewiston. She's not from Royal Woods or from Deck City, she came from Great Lakes City, yet her family company has some facilities in both Royal Woods and Deck City.
"Now!" The Silver Storm then summons a cloud above them. "Where is she?!"
"Where is who?!" asked Ace Savvy. "We don't even know what the heck or who the heck you are talking about?! We're heroes and we don't even know if you're a villain who took our associates."
The Silver Storm then stops and looks to them confused. "Wait, so you guys didn't kidnap my mom?"
"No, why would we?" said The Night Club. Then she figures it out. "But something tells me that the disappearance of our teammates and your mom might be linked."
"That does make sense, but why did you attack us?" asked Ace Savvy.
The Silver Storm goes towards them. "First off, I am super sorry for almost frying the both of ya, and also I was given this note from where my mom was missing, and it said to come to Deck city, and I assumed you guys were the ones since the night time shadows makes you guys look like the chick who took her."
This makes Ace Savvy and Night Club feel like they might know who this is. "Could you describe to us who you saw?" asked Ace Savvy.
The Silver Storm nods. "She looked like a person you'd see burying bodies in the cemetery, and she had this purple glowing shovel and this very creepy mask used by doctors during the plagues."
The Night Club is jaws dropped. "Spade Digger!"
"Exactly!" One-Eyed Jack comes to them. "It was easy when I tinkered with them and it looks like Spade Digger did kidnap the rest of the team, and I managed to get the recording of what happened."
They look to the communicator's footage and see the Dodge Ball Queen and Blue Streak trying to fight off the Spade Digger and her skeleton soldiers, but they were attacked by gargoyle statues and knocked out, then the Spade Digger places them into a coffin and drags them away.
"Well, looks like we're all on the same table of bets and from the note you got, Silver Storm, it means she's here ion Deck City, but why though?" said Ace Savvy.
The Night Club then recalls. "From those skeletons, looks like Spade Digger is back to her old tricks again. She looks like she's trying to raise an army of the dead, and possibly bury Royal Woods and Deck City into the dirt, six feet under."
One-Eyed Jack then realizes something. "The new Deck City Historical Graveyard! It opened last week and is also part of the museum not too far from us, we can get there and stop her before this gets out of hand!"
"Then let's go and deal out some justice!" said Ace Savvy.
Silver Storm looks to them. "Is this normal with the Card phrases and stuff? Because this is kinda cool. Let the storm cometh down and shut down thy bets!"
They all clap at what she had just said. "Nice."
(Deck City Historical Graveyard.)
Welcome to the Deck City Graveyard, this is where the legends of the past and the founder of Deck City have been buried and now it's about to become defiled in the hands of an undertaker themed supervillain.
The heroes arrive and they look around for any signs of the enemy they seek. "We need to be careful guys, the one thing I know about Spade Digger, is that she can pop out of anywhere at any time. So eyes up, and don't let your deals and bets go down the wrong shuffle." Night Club has her axe ready and her purple fire powers.
"You mean like now." They all get startled and turn around, only to be hit in the face by a shovel and they all fall into some glass coffins, and they have been locked by some skeletons.
"No!" The Night Club then sees her and growls. "Spade Digger!"
Spade Digger.
A dangerous villain who was once a common Gothic teen, who then got struck down by some red bolt of lightning that made her into a delusional and dark magic powered super villain, and her darkest dreams are now loose and she wishes to accomplish them all, and her darkest dreams are to end the world and send it into total darkness. Also, should she be taken down, then any effect of dark magic will also be shutdown.
She's dressed in a black long sleeve trench coat with a black shirt inside that has a bleeding skull logo, black fingerless gloves with skull symbols on the knuckles, black jeans and black boots with skull symbols on them and a black belt with a bleeding skull log and a black hoodie underneath her black Undertaker style hat. You can't see her eyes, her bangs are covering them, and her hair reaches her back and is tied into a ponytail.
Her real name is Lucenda T. Whitaker.
Powers: She has some knowledge on black magic, she can pop out of nowhere and she uses her enchanted shovel to control her undead armies, and she's a really fast digger.
Spade Digger goes towards them. "Caught you all like little black mice, getting into the darkened trap, seeking shelter, when the only shelter is that within the jaws of the black cat."
Ace Savvy then figures it out. "Speaking in cryptic huh? Seems like the suite to deal for you, Spade Digger." They spot the rest of the team, and Silver Storms mom, all in glass coffins and facing the sky, and not just that, but they see some other business folks.
"What the heck are you doing? What do you want from all of this?" said One-Eyed Jack.
Spade Digger smirks. "You see, the darkness needs a form of dominant and powerful people and what better way to assume full control of all things dead and business type, then with the use of the big time business folks from Royal Woods, Deck City and Great Lakes City."
Spade Digger then looks to the mother of Silver Storm in her coffin. "They shall make fine minions of the darkness and with them I can take over everything and make this world grovel and be as dark and depressing as I am, for all of eternity." She then looks to the heroes. "And with some super powered minions, will fit the darkened bill just right."
They all try to fight back, and even try to use their tools. But Spade Digger smirks. "I wouldn't do that, unless you wanna end up killing yourselves. Those things are indestructible and cannot be destroyed from within, or from outside and nothing can break them. Unless, you possess magic."
But Silver Storm looks around her glass coffin and she sees something, a very small crack and she smiles. "Well, bad news for you. My powers can allow me to traverse even through the tiniest of areas. So, think fast!"
She screams and then her eyes glow and she turns into this bolt of energy bouncing within the glass coffin and then she hits the tiny crack and zooms out and this surprises the other heroes. "Whoa!"
She then stands in front of the black clothed villain. "Boop." She pokes the nose of the Spade Digger and she's shocked by more than a thousand bolts and she drops her shovel which the Silver Storm grabs and she smashes it.
The glass coffins begin to fall apart and the folks inside begin to wake up, and the skeleton and gargoyle army begin to fade away into the shadows forever.
Spade Digger gets up and sees this. "No, no my army! The plan was flawless and full proof, how did this go wrong?!"
"I guess the bets are all off for you!" Spade Digger turns around and is struck in the head by Ace, Savvy, One-Eyed Jack and Night Club. The villain hits the tombstone nearby and passes out.
Silver Storm throws away the broken shovel. "Looks like you just got struck hard and are officially, out of the deal." She then looks to the others. "Did I say that right?" They all chuckle from what she had just said.
(Later.)
The cops are all there and the Spade Digger is being taken away and the rest of the business folks are being brought back to their homes, but the mother of Silver Storm sees her and waves, she knows who her daughter is and she's kept the secret for a long, long time.
The Silver Storm waves and watches as her mom is flown away via Helicopter and then she looks to the rest of the team. "Well, I guess I should get going now and thanks for helping me get my mom back."
"All in a good days work" said Ace Savvy. "Sure there might be some moments when we don't know what to do, but we heroes gotta stick together and I have been thinking and the same with the others…" The rest of the team nods. Ace Savvy then goes towards the heroine. "How would you like to be a member of the Deck crew?"
The rest of the team also step forward to show that they're fine with her.
The Silver Storm is surprised, she didn't see this coming and smiles. "Well, as much of a good offer that is. I think I'll need some time to think about it. I am the only hero, I think, within Great Lakes City and teaming up hasn't been my cup of tea for some time. But, I'll let you guys know when I made my choice."
"Well, whatever you choose dude, is alright with the rest of us" said Blue Streak.
"Because after what you did today, you have earned our trust and we'll be there for ya when you need some backup from some trouble" said Dodge Ball Queen.
"We're not gonna leave you dealing the bets all on your own, we gotta stick together and work together, as a team" said One-Eyed Jack.
"We all have you're back and we're not gonna put down the call for a hero we know who needs help the most" said The Night Club.
Silver Storm is touched, she got some folks she can call her friends and also her teammates, but the road for her to wanna be part of the team is something she'll need to figure out on her own, but right now Great Lakes City is her top priority and a nice comforting moment with her mom.
While they all talk, they don't notice this figure of a male in a hood and staff and looks to them and is concerned. 'They don't know that a great threat is upon them, and if they're not careful, then they could be in grave danger.' He then opens a time portal and goes on through.
Now who in the heck was that?
(Reality.)
We now go to the Living room of the Loud House and Lincoln had finished showing Delilah Lewis Loud the new comic he made. "So, what do you think?"
Delilah smirks. "Dang, Lincoln. You made me a superhero and an ally to Ace Savvy. This is so awesome, thank you so much, but why though?"
"Well, you have been helping me out of some issues and binds, and so I thought maybe this would be a good time to show you this way of me to say, I trust you and I think you deserve more in this new life and family you have now" replied Lincoln.
Delilah is touched. "Oh come here you." Delilah hugs him and Lincoln hugs her back, the two of them share a laugh as this happens and Delilah kisses his cheek. "You're like a little brother I would've always wanted."
Lincoln smiles. "And I'm glad to be that little brother for you, Delilah."
Unknown to them, Luna and Michelle see this and smile. 'It's so sweet of them to get along and bond this way.'
They continue to watch as Lincoln and Delilah continue to bond and hang out, and through video games too. Like a brother and a sister. To Luna, this makes her smile. 'Kinda like me back when Linc needed some company. We're proud of you two, and the future you guys are gonna have with those by yourside.'
