Chapter 225: The nice moments between us.

(Royal Woods Elementary School.)

March 29, and we are back at school and right now classes are done for the day and the boy with the white hair Lincoln Loud walks out of the school and is feeling proud of himself. He sees his friends and Jordan and waves to them as they go off to tell their parents that they passed.

But Lincoln does see Richie looking upset and same goes with Chad and Paige. 'Dang. I wonder why the heck they failed. Did they even get the answers to that test right? Maybe Ms. Johnson can give them another chance, the finals test is coming at May after all.'

"Hey, kiddo." Lincoln spots Luna, his mom waiting for him and so he goes over and hugs her. "Hey there sport, so how was the scores?"

"Awesome and I made number 2 again, I guess I need to improve myself next time, huh?"

Luna kneels down and she kisses his forehead. "Whichever top you got, that doesn't matter. What truly matters is that you aced it and proved to me how smart my little cute white-haired kid is."

Lincoln chuckles from what Luna had called him. "Mom, stop it. I don't want others to just keep teasing to me about this, I mean to Jordan its fine and I am okay with the hugs and kisses. I always feel comforted and safe around them."

Luna smirks. "Alright, alright. Come on kiddo." But then they hear two boys yell at them and they see that these two boys were some old friends from Chandler, and the same boys Lincoln knew from last year. (The two other boys who made fun of him from the episode Save the Date.)

Lincoln sighs. "I got this mom." Luna backs off and Lincoln looks to them. "You know, you can mock me all you want, but that only proves that you guys don't care for the parents you have and would rather make others look like fools while you guys act like heartless hoodlums and dishonor the love that your parents show you."

This makes the two boys remain silent and everyone else yelling. "Oh, sick burn!"

Lincoln crosses his arms. "And might I recall, you two failed today at the scoreboard, and picking it on others is not good on ya. Also, don't turn around."

The two boys turn around and see their parents looking at them sternly, they were in so much trouble.

Lincoln and Luna head back into the car and Luna looks to Lincoln and smiles. "That's my boy."

Lincoln chuckles. "Sometimes it takes words to make sure the opposing side shuts up, you gotta get into their heads and make sure that what they make up for in strength, is also their weakness. Also, that was in my book report last month."

Luna chuckles and starts the engine. "Come on kiddo, let's go and get something good to eat." They drive off, Lisa and Lucy saw the whole thing and smile.

Lucy. 'Well done Lincoln, you always come up with some ways to outsmart and outmaneuver anyone who tries to pick on you. Like the old days when we ducked, dodged, pushed and shoved.'

Lisa. 'Using the enemy's strengths against them is a wise choice, and a daring move. At least he did not get harmed by those delinquents.'

The twins walk by them and both are talking about the next time Bobbie Fletcher makes a call on when she can hang out with them, and they're both looking forward to her next race, and to become part of it, and with them are the McCauley kids, Caleb and Camille.

(Burpin' Burger.)

Luna and Lincoln walk into the burger joint and see some folks in line and they wait and look to the menu of food, but they do see two preteens they know from the Royal Woods Middle School. Margo Roberts and Paula Price.

"Hey guys, here for some lunch?" asked Paula.

"We are, and it seems like you girls had a fun time with soccer" said Lincoln.

Margo nods. "We did and it was the second game for us and we won, again and this time Paula did the whole thing."

"Come on Margo, the whole thing was one big team effort and we're glad Delilah showed up to take pics of us for the school news blog" said Paula.

Luna chuckles. "True sportsmanship and…" Luna looks to the menu and is confused. "Hey dudes, why does that say the Hola for Paula?"

Paula chuckles. "Yeah, this happened when Margo scored the big win for us and it was called the Margo Miracle, and then today we met this little girl whose shirt was once a fan of Margo, then changed to my name and she said she doesn't know who Paula is. That is just insane and weird."

Margo chuckles. "I swear, this seems to happen a lot and I have to admit, even though I totally respect Paula getting the big win for us, I am kinda annoyed that the star players have to get the credit and fame and privileges and it's not cool."

"I mean, when I won the first game, the burger name and fan clothing wasn't the only issue I had to handle. I was told that I don't have to take the test and that my F became an A and then the librarian said that I didn't have to pay for the late books I borrowed. It didn't feel right, it felt horrible for me."

"I wanna be there to say that the team did it, it wasn't just me. Because if I didn't have a team, then we wouldn't win and they deserve the same respect and privileges as I did, heck they kept editing the epic kick I made and now they're doing the same to Paula."

"I'm in the same boat as Margo is, and that's why we didn't order the burger that has my name on it. Sounds kinda gross and wrong on so many levels" said Paula. "We wanna do something, we wanna stop this madness with the star player's kind of thing."

Lincoln has an idea. "Ignore them, and then tell them what you feel and how it would hurt the rest of the team, and if they don't listen, then share it on social media and even though some fans will be too obnoxious and follow you, at least be grateful there are some other athletes who are facing the same crisis as you do."

Margo and Paula think about this. "You know what Lincoln, that doesn't sound like a bad idea, it might just work for both of us and the rest of the team" said Margo.

"We can deal with that after lunch" said Paula. "With this kind of idea, we can shut up the annoying privileges to those who keep getting the star struck treatment, because we're middle school soccer players, not some pageant runway models, or pro-players in the Esports league."

"Thanks for the idea Lincoln." Margo and Paula go to their seats and enjoy their lunch and talk about what to do next.

Luna and Lincoln grab the food they ordered and they fail to see the shocked and disappointed look from Grant, he now feels bad for renaming the burger over and over and over. 'Oh jeez. What the heck am I even doing?'

Some other folks overheard this and all feel bad, even the librarian is there and they're teacher Mr. Bolhofner and now he's scared. 'If they tell Principal Ramirez about me giving easy good grade privileges to the star player, then I'm done for!'

(Ketcham Park.)

Lincoln and Luna are now beneath the shade of a tree, the very same tree on the hill they always come to relax and take in the serene sounds of the place. They both just watch as the peacefulness of the park is enough to make them sigh in relief.

"Really does get to ya huh kiddo?" asked Luna as she strums on her acoustic.

"Dang right mom." Lincoln leans his head onto her shoulder, and then he looks to her. "Mom, when are we gonna see Leni? I mean, it's gonna be April soon."

Luna thinks about this. "No clue, kiddo. We're gonna need to discuss this for next time, and I hope that when we do go to check on her, we might get the hot scoop on her date, Kurt Logann."

Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, he's not so bad and everything about him spells family kinda guy. I hope that maybe, this guy could be the one guy Leni has been looking for. He does like her on the inside and outside and the same for Leni's emotions for him."

"Leni has found the guy for her, and I guess her crush with Chaz was more of a puppy crush for him and not the actually feeling the love in the air tonight kinda vibe" replied Luna. "But, we'll go and check on Leni soon, not this week, but soon kiddo. Just be patient."

Lincoln smiles. "Okay mom." But then something comes into his thoughts. 'Luan, her birthday is coming soon and from what mom told me about the call from Dr. Himmler, Luan is getting some bad dreams and they seem to be about her pranks madness mode. What the heck is gonna happen when it's April 1st?'

But he doesn't know, Luna is feeling the same thing. 'Luan, what the heck is going on with ya sis?'

(The Loud House, nighttime.)

Lincoln and Delilah are in their sleepwear and are watching some TV, and what they watch is the new Game show called Double Dare.

"Man, this show is so awesome, funny and very informative" said Lincoln. "What do you think Delilah?"

Delilah then takes notes. "Well, I like the trivia parts, but the whole thing where they go and do physical stuff, now that is something I like and the slime. All that slime! So gooey and yet, so fun."

"Dang right" said Lincoln. They then see the commercial break and they hear the announcement about the show.

"Hey, hold on there slot lovers, Double Dare is hitting the road and we're coming to your town. So get ready, Royal Woods Michigan. So, hang tight and stay strong because we're coming on April 6."

This makes Lincoln and Delilah shocked. "What?!" But there's more.

"Another thing to mention folks, is that we have some great new prizes: Flashy sneakers, Deluxe Vanity Station, a life-size cutout of Ace Savvy and the Night Club and last but not least… A Galactic Lab Space Capsule!"

Lincoln and Delilah are both shocked beyond they're young minds. "What?!"

Then Delilah asks. "Wait, hang on. How the heck did they get their hands on one of those Galactic Lab Space Capsule?"

But they don't notice Luna seeing this from the stairs, and she has an idea. 'Hmm, maybe some bonding moment between me and Linc at the show would be nice. We did win the Legends of the Hidden Temple game.'

At the same time Michelle sees this from her room and has an idea. 'I think it's time for me and Delilah to enjoy some fun mother and daughter time at that game, and even though it does seem gooey with slime, it'll all be worth it! Plus either of those prizes would make her happy.'

They don't even notice Harriet who noticed Luna and Michelle. 'Well, this should be one interesting issue for them all. I wonder what's gonna happen next, also is Lisa seeing this too?'
