Gale tried taking on Reginald, but it seemed like he was being overpowered. Right when Reginald was ready to finish him, Levy arrived to try and save Gale. When Levy was attacked and Reginald changed targets to her, Gale unleashed the true inner power that all dragon slayers have. Levy couldn't believe that she saw her own son with this power.

'He has the Dragon Force.' Levy thought as she was amazed with what she was seeing. Gale was coated in iron scales with him radiating power.

"Where did this power come from all of a sudden?" Reginald said. No dragon slayer of the newest generation has ever unlocked this power. Gale is the first.

'I feel power coursing through my body.' Gale thought. 'I can feel the iron as a part of me. For as long as this power lasts...nothing will stop me!' Gale moved incredibly fast as he went at Reginald and gave him a powerful hit in the gut. Reginald really felt it as he was was blown back from the impact.

"Incredible!" Levy said as she was amazed at what her own son was capable of now. Reginald, on the other hand, couldn't believe what just happened, but wasn't backing down from a fight. "Memory-Make: Piercement Through All!" Reginald unleashed a light for the intent to pierce through him. Gale surprised Reginald as he just knocked the light away. 'Impossible!' He thought as he was completely shocked. 'That light is capable of piercing through anything! How could he have knocked it away like that?'

"Iron Dragon Club!" Gale stretched out his club. Reginald moved out of the way, but he saw the club smashed into a rock and it was completely demolished. Gale closed the distance between them. Once he got close enough, he gave Reginald a powerful uppercut and launched him in the air.

'What power! Is this the Dragon Force I've heard these dragon slayers can have? It's the first time I've ever seen it!' Reginald thought as he couldn't believe this one guy had so much power. Gale jumped high in the air and got over him. He gave Reginald another powerful hit that caused him to plummet down and crash into the ground. Reginal took the full force of Gale with the power of the Dragon Force, but he was still going as he tried to stand.

"He took all of that and he can still get up?!" Levy said with astonishment.

"You're finished!" Gale said as he was getting ready for the finishing attack. "Iron Dragon Hard Fist!" Gale came down as he was getting ready for the final attack.

"Behold my Impenetrable Shield!" Reginald called as he held out his shield as it formed right over him. "Try as much as you like! Nothing can break through this shield!" That didn't stop Gale as he kept going straight down. He smashed his fist right against the shield. Reginald thought it would hold, but Gale surprised him as he smashed the shield to pieces. Gale kept going with the attack as he smashed right into Reginald's gut, smashing him further into the ground.

"Gale!" Levy called as she hoped that did it. She ran towards the crater that Gale made from that fight to see what happened to the others. Gale was still standing and Reginald was lying against the ground. Gale won this fight.

"Next time, treat my mom a little nicer." Gale said as he walked out of there. The scales on his body faded away. As he climbed out of the crater, he dropped to the ground after exerting so much energy.

"Are you okay?" Levy said.

"Yeah." Gale said as he tried catching his breath. "That wasn't so tough." Levy laughed at his nostalgia, but she was glad to see he won this battle. She embraced her son with pride as a parent.

"I'm so proud of you." Levy said. "You actually unlocked Dragon Force, something the others haven't been able to do."

"Thanks, Mom." Gale said as he felt like he caught up with the others.

Kora

Another member of the powerful Ten might have fallen, but the others will be just as strong and stronger. Kora was about to see that as she faced Norita. After seeing her, sensing her lust for battle and blood, Kora knew she needs to keep her guard up.

"Before we begin, may I at least ask for your name?" Kora said.

"I am Norita Teresa." She claimed as she moved her shorts to show a lion mark on her left thigh. "I hold the mark of the lion."

"Mark of the lion? What does that mean?" Kora asked.

"It means that I am the fifth strongest out of The Ten." Norita said.

'So she is one of them.' Kora thought. 'From what little information we received from Fairy Tail, they are the elite fighters of this enemy and must be brought down at all costs. She might only be ranked in the middle, but she must be powerful.' Tired of waiting around, Norita went on the attack. She swung her sword at Kora. Kora tried blocking the attack, but the impact alone caused her to slide back and she hit the wall behind her.

"I told you my name. What's yours? You might as well say it while I can still remember." Norita said. "We'll see if it's a name worth remembering."

"I'm Kora Mikazuchi. I happen to be the daughter of Mermaid Heel's master, as well as allegedly the strongest member of the guild next to my mother."

"I couldn't care less about where you came from, but you say you might be the strongest fighter?" Norita said. "That catches my interest!" Norita went on the attack again as she swung her sword at her, but Kora dived out of the way. She was surprised to see Norita cut right through an entire building as she saw the top half fall right off.

'She just cut through that building like it was a piece of paper. This could be more dangerous than I thought.' Kora thought as she's witnessing the enemy's true power.

The East

Even though one member of The Ten was defeated, the battle in east was still going on. At the moment, it was just a standoff. Neither side appeared to be advancing. That gives Quattro Cerberus and Lamia Scale, with their Fairy Tail allies, to regain some of their strength while they wait for the next enemy attack.

"You doing okay, Sasha?" Rin asked.

"Yeah." Sasha said. "What happened to that air freak?"

"We're holding him prisoner." Simon said. "We've been able to hold our own against them, but it looks like they're holding off their attacks. They've pulled back for now."

"That's good. It gives us time to come up with some sort of plan." Erza said. "This enemy is greater and stronger than what we've faced before."

"Indeed. Levi and his friends were defeated rather easily." Simon said.

"Do you know if they're doing okay?" Sasha said.

"Hopefully." Erza said. Levi and his friends were beaten rather badly. Lyon went to see that his son was doing well. Luckily, it seemed like he was waking up.

"Father?" Levi said.

"I'm right here. Just try and get some rest." Lyon said.

"Father, I need to warn you about the one that did this to us." Levi said. "His power is unlike anything I've ever seen. He defeated us with rather easily. You must beware of him." The one that Levi was talking about was Terran, the only member of The Ten still standing in the east. The fact that he was able to defeat Levi and his friends easily is some indication of his strength.

"Master Terran, I'm afraid we are not able to liberate Master Airin. What shall we do?" A fellow soldier asked.

"It's rather surprising that any member of The Ten was defeated. To think a small group could turn the tide of the battle in the enemy's favor." Terran said. "I can't afford to waste time here."

"Again, I ask, what shall we do?" Terran knew the real target lies in Magnolia. He's going there and he won't let them stand in the way.

"Continue with the battle after recovery. I'll be going to Magnolia." Terran said.

Hargeon

Kora was doing her best to fight against Norita. The two of them kept clashing swords against each other. Kora swung her sheathed sword at her, but Norita was able to catch it with her hand. She actually looked a little dissatisfied with what Kora was doing.

"Is this some kind of joke?" Norita said as she was getting furious. "You're fighting me while you're sword is still sheathed. Are you simply mocking me?!" She tossed Kora's weapon out of the way and tried attacking her, but Kora ducked down and jumped away from the attack.

"Nothing personal. It's just the style of fighting I was taught." Kora said.

"And here's what I was taught!" Norita shouted as she swung her sword against the ground. The shockwaves tore through the ground, but Kora was able to jump out of the way. "If that's really all you got, there's no way you can survive against me!"

'Her power is unreal.' Kora thought. Norita didn't waste any time. She attacked again and tried striking her. Kora held up her blade and tried holding it back, but Norita pushed her back. Norita looked like she was enjoying it. Kora found her footing and pushed her blade back. The two of them kept clashing their weapons against each other. Norita thrusted her sword forward, but Kora knocked it out of the way. Kora saw an opening and smacked her across the face with her sheath. Norita felt the spot she hit her, but she actually felt cheerful.

"I'm actually impressed." Norita said. "This is the first time in a long time that someone has lasted this long against me. It's been too long since I've been given a challenge. Too long!" Norita smashed her sword against the ground and created a shockwave going around her. Kora got caught in it and was blown back from it. She landed against the ground. Norita took the opportunity as she tried attacking her again. Norita was going for the kill, but Kora acted fast.

"Too slow!" Kora said. She smashed her sword against the ground as well, but she created a dust cloud instead. Norita jumped through it and tried striking her, but she barely missed her. Kora kicked Norita right in the gut as she got back up.

"Creating a dust cloud to mess with my trajectory? Smart, but is that really all you got?" Norita questioned.

"I've barely begun to fight." Kora said as she tried attacking again, but Norita blocked her sword. Norita tried kicking her, but Kora blocked it with her arm. Kora was pushed back and she could see the cynical grin on her face. "What are you smirking about?"

"I'm just trying to savor the fight." Norita said. Kora was seeing more and more that Norita was some kind of beast that took thrill in combat. She hated it. "A bit of advice, if you actually plan to survive, you better not hold back."

'She does have a point. I can't afford to hold back.' Kora thought. That's when she decided to unleash some magic. She intensified the gravity around Norita and tried to hold her down.

"Gravity magic?!" Norita said.

"I have you now!" Kora said. Kora attacked her again. She smashed her sword against her and sent her flying as she smashed into a building. Kora thought that had her, but she kept guard up. "Did that really do it?" Kora thought that did, but Norita's blade shot out through the rubble and it looked like Kora wasn't going to stop it in time. Perhaps Norita is too strong even for someone like Kora.
