Gale managed to defeat Reginald, but Kora found herself faced with Sword Behemoth Norita. Norita is a savage swordsman with brutal power. It's taking all that Kora has to try and survive against her. It looked like it was over when Norita stabbed Kora. Norita climbed out of rubble and thought she had her.
"Not bad." Norita said. Norita did manage to stab Kora, but only with the tip of her sword. Kora was able to block it with her sword and is trying to hold it back. Norita pushed a little further and tried digging it a little deeper as the blade scraped against the sheath. Kora couldn't take it as she managed to jump away and held her wound. "You might have some power and skill, but I seriously doubt you really have what it takes to defeat me."
"We'll see about that." Kora said as she fought through the pain. "You haven't won yet." Kora looked down at her sheathed sword and saw the sheath was broken with a crack going through it. Kora could see how powerful she was.
"I thought I told you that you better not hold anything back if you even want to survive against me." Norita said.
"So be it." Kora said as she grabbed a hold of the sheath. She acted fast as she tossed the sheath at Norita, but Norita knocked it away with it being shattered to pieces.
"Are you still playing games?" Norita said. Kora surprised her as she moved incredibly fast and appeared right in front of Norita, ready to strike.
"I'm done playing around." Kora said. She tried striking fast with her sword, but Norita was able to block it with her sword.
"I thought I made myself clear. Stop...playing...games!" Norita shouted as she gave Kora powerful kick and sent her flying across the street and through a building.
'Unreal. Mother taught me that herself. It's practically her finishing move.' Kora thought. Kora tried standing back up as Norita charged at her for another attack. Norita jumped in the air and was about to strike her. "You're about to see why I am known as the Sword Behemoth!" She was going for the kill, but Kora used her gravity magic and caused Norita to plummet to the ground.
"Don't think you can talk down to me." Kora said as she stood back up.
"Why not? Your skills might have gotten you this far against me, but they won't help you defeat me." Norita said as she was getting back up. Kora couldn't believe she was able to stand with the weight of gravity on her. "Your power...is nothing to me!" She was able to push past the gravity and stand up straight.
'This is bad. The longer this fight goes on, the more trouble I could be in.' Kora thought. She readied her sword and flew right at her. Norita readied herself. The two of them clashed against each other. It generated a great force that blew the other back.
"How many times are you going to make me keep saying the same thing?" Norita said. "Those skills of yours aren't enough to defeat me." Norita thought Kora wasn't really all that much, but she was proven wrong as she felt her face sting. She looked and saw she had a cut over the side of her face. It was small, but she actually had a cut on her face.
"Look at that. I managed to cut you." Kora said as she found small joy in that. "Wouldn't someone with my weak skills not be able to cut you? Maybe you're not as great as I thought."
"Don't get cocky just because you got one little cut." Norita said. "While I do find it impressive you were able to cut me, something no one has been able to do for a long time, it still isn't enough to finish me. Do you not understand this fight?"
"Understand the fight?" Kora questioned as she didn't really understood.
"Yeah. Do you not understand that this is a fight to the death?! One cut is nothing!" Norita shouted as she swung her sword down and generated another shockwave that tore through the ground. Kora jumped out of the way and saw the attack slash through the city.
'Oh boy. Hargeon isn't going to survive this war if this keeps up.' Kora thought. She turned to Norita and glared right at her. She saw the grin on Norita's face and it turned her stomach. "I don't get it. You want this to be a fight to the death? Do you enjoy fighting that much?"
"Of course, you idiot!" Norita shouted. "This is war! We're opposing enemies! This isn't a fight in some sort of tournament! It's a fight to the finish! Just like all fights should be! What's one little cut compared to taking a life?! If you can't bring yourself to take a person's life, what business do you even have to hold a sword?!" Norita flew at Kora again and tried striking her again. Kora tried to hold her ground as she used the sword to defend. The two of them clashed and generated a powerful shockwave that blew the surrounding area.
'Something doesn't seem right.' Kora thought as she was doing her best to keep Norita back. 'Her attacks are immense, but I'm not really sensing much magic power from her. How can that be?' Kora was trying to figure out the source of Norita's strength until it came to her. Kora jumped away from Norita and really kept her guard up. "I think I get it now, but I can't believe it."
"What is it now?" Norita asked with annoyance.
"I thought it was a little weird how powerful you were." Kora said as she rethought how this fight played out. "This entire time, I sensed little magic power coming from you. However, your attacks are incredibly powerful. Don't tell me this is your actual physical strength and ability."
"You actually managed to figure it out." Norita said. Kora couldn't believe it. It was one thing thinking she was capable of doing this with magic. The fact that she hasn't really been using magic in this fight was unbelievable. "You never would have guessed by looking at me, but my abilities are unparalleled."
'Unreal. How could someone that appears so thin and skinny be this strong.' Kora said. "The fact that you're rated fifth among the ten with that kind of power and ability is impressive. It's hard to imagine why you would waste on something like this."
"Spare me the lecture." Norita said as she was in no mood for this. "I've been struggling my whole life. The years of hardship I went through has allowed me to reach where I am! I'm not fighting as a means of justice or something stupid like that. I couldn't give a damn about that. I fight because it shows I'm strong. I am strong. I am strong!" She declared as she went on the attack again, but Kora jumped out of the way of her attack as she jumped on a building. Norita kept it going as she went after her and actually ran up the building. Kora jumped back to the ground, but Norita kicked off from the wall and smashed into her. Norita's collision caused her Kora to be knocked back a good distance. Kora tried getting back up, but Norita stomped her foot on her head. "I think this battle is over." Norita raised her sword to deal the final blow.
"Not even close!" Kora shouted as she unleashed a blast of gravity magic and knocked Norita off.
"I'm getting really annoyed with that." Norita said. Kora was able to get back on her feet, but she's exerted a lot of energy. She might not have much left.
'I can't give in yet. She must be stopped, but how?' Kora thought as she tried thinking of ways that can stop her. She even thought about Simon and Sasha for inspiration. 'What about Simon? Sasha? What would they do if they were in my situation?' She kept thinking, but there was only one thing she could do. 'I hate to say it, but there might be only one way.' Kora composed herself and readied herself for whatever she needed to do. "You want this to be a fight to the death, you got it."
"What else did you think this was?" Norita said.
"The sword wasn't made to only kill. It's to be used as a means of defending yourself." Kora said as she gripped her katana with both hands. "However, it would seem you're not leaving much choice. Unlike you, I wish it didn't move to this, but there's not much more I can do. You're clearly too dangerous or deranged to be left alive."
"If it means you'll fight this seriously, I don't really care what you think!" Norita said as she went on the attack again. Kora tried to wrap her head around it.
'I don't have much of a choice.' Kora thought. 'It might not be what Fairy Tail would do, but I'm not in Fairy Tail. This is what I have to do.'
"Time to say goodbye!" Norita shouted, but Kora was a step ahead of her. Kora found the will to go through with it as she raised her sword and slashed it right down. Norita really felt the attack as her body was torn open. Norita dropped to her knees and was trying to catch her breath. That last attack took her by surprise as she didn't think Kora had that much strength left in her. "Damn you." Norita got back on her legs and jumped back a couple times.
'That one seemed to have gotten her.' Kora thought. 'She instinctively dodged the worst of it by a hair. I don't think I can move faster than that. Now, she'll be on guard for another attack like that.' Kora needed to ready to herself. Norita might not fall for the same trick twice.
"That does it." Norita said as she got herself ready for another attack. "You might have lasted longer against me than anyone has, but that doesn't mean I'm going to lose. I'm not losing! I am strong! I am strong!"
'It looks like she's reaching her limit. I'm nearing my limit as well.' Kora thought as she could feel her body giving up on her. Every bit of her was starting to hurt and felt tired, but she's trying to force her body to keep going. 'I probably have only one big attack left in me. If I can't finish this now, I'm done for.' Kora focused all that she could into her next attack. 'If I throw some gravity into my next attack, I might be give me enough of a boost to finish this.' Norita felt Kora building her magic. She had her enjoyment in this fight, but she's run out of patience. Seeing as how Kora is getting the better of her, appears to be younger than her, and actually managed to cut her is driving Norita crazy.
'There's no way I'm going to lose to some kid.' Norita thought as her frustration was building. 'I am not going back to that.' Norita could see her past flashing before her. She could see all the struggle she went through. The fights she's been in. All she had to endure for her to get where she is now. She was weak and she refuses to go back to that. All she ever wanted was power. "I am strong. I am strong!"
'Here she comes.' Kora thought as she readied herself as she raised her sword over her head. Kora built as much magic power as she could for this one attack. Norita went at her. Both sides desired to end this and were ready to take the other's life if that's what it has to take.
"This has gone on too long! Hurry up and die!" Norita shouted as she went for it.
"Graviton Itto-ryu!" Kora slashed down with a powerful slash with the weight of gravity behind it. This attack had more weight and more power to it. It came down on Norita with her sword being blown out of her hand. Norita felt her body being crushed by the force of gravity that hit her, as well as it being torn open from that wound. Norita's sword impaled the ground as Norita herself dropped to her knees. Another one of The Ten might appear to have been defeated, but this one might have actually lost her life.
