Freedom! For Now, Wee Hours of Day 207

It's been hours and hours. Several things happened at once: the time lock spell broke, freeing our people; the whole operation at the Nighthold came to a successful conclusion; we are never going to hear the end of it from the Illidan fangirls.

First things first, some folks had to direct our suddenly-freed troops back to this position quietly so not to attract demonic attention. They were universally floored that anything happened at all, and that it was a couple days ago. I managed to sneak up to Gudash to make sure he was all right. I'm sure Sharis would want to know. I did not, however, spill the tea about her. I did note that he asked after 'our leadership,' and was particularly interested in whether the rift between Sharis and Kuadanath (in that order) was still a thing. But I held to my promise and didn't press him further. I have a feeling that when the 'leadership' joins us, there will be meaningful looks and shy glances aplenty.

So yeah, the team that went into the Nighthold hasn't come out yet. A message was sent via arcane elemental – purple, so you know Khadgar's involved – that Gul'dan was soundly defeated, Elisande is now scrubbing pots and pans in the kitchen, and Illidan is working the stiffness and rigor mortis out of his joints as we speak.

A couple of messenger elementals notified me that I'm to gather the support teams in Dalaran, so it's time to dust off my wyvern and get busy. Yes, in the middle of the night, I'm going to be kicking people out of their hammocks. My job just got exponentially more annoying.
