Chapter 9 is here. Phobia Factor with all the contestants fears exposed. This story pretty much everyone gets some type of role. Some more than others. While the elimination will be shocking this time and Cody's fear and especially Noah's will shock you.
Chapter 9: Phobia Factor
Outside Screaming Gophers Girl Cabin
After Katie was eliminated, I was about to hit the cabins when I saw all of the girls walking towards the guys side all with a look of annoyance or disgust except Lindsay who looked guilty.
"What's going on?" I asked the girls.
"Lindsay stank up the girls cabin with her nail polish" Gwen informed me. "So we're going to air it out as I am sure the smell has gotten into the guys room by now" sure enough Noah and Trent walked out of the cabin both looking disgusted.
"What type of nail polish did you even use?" Noah asked Lindsay as he was having his hand over his nose.
"The pretty kind duh" Lindsay said which got an eye roll from Noah.
"Well why don't we talk to the other team?" I suggested. "We may be on different teams but we can always be civil with each other". After getting to know the Bass with Noah a bit a few days ago I figured the rest of the team could.
"Ooh! That sounds like a great idea Cody!" Lindsay said as we walked to the campfire. Everyone else looked indifferent but no one was fully against the idea even Heather.
Campfire
As we walked up to the campfire we saw Leshawna and Harold comforting Sadie who was still upset about Katie's elimination. But she seemed better than before.
"What are you guys doing here?" Courtney asked indignantly.
"We're just trying to be nice?" I said which got Noah to punch my arm.
"Okay, Lindsay stunk up our cabin with nail polish so we decided to let the cabins air out" Gwen told the Bass.
"So what do you want to talk about?" Courtney asked, glaring at Gwen and that was when I stepped in between them.
"Look Katie was able to get along with us so I don't see why we can't get along". I told Courtney. "We may all be competing for money but that doesn't mean we can't be civil and get to know each other".
"Fine might as well get to know the competition" Courtney said as she rolled her eyes at me.
Confessional- Courtney
"I just don't trust that geek ever since he cussed me out the first day." Courtney said crossing her arms. "Yeah he saved me from the light but that doesn't mean I'm indebted to the weirdo".
Confessional- Cody
I looked around with an annoyed face. "Yeah I still think she's a bitch. Maybe I shouldn't have saved her from that light during the talent show".
Campfire
So both teams began to talk and luckily the talk of fears was not brought up as we talked about some of our interests and backstories.
"So does everyone want to give a fun fact about themselves that is interesting" I asked everyone.
"Okay I'll reveal why I went to juvie because it is a simple but cool story" Duncan told us.
"Ooh Mr. Bad Boy trying to act all tough. Get bent!" Heather sniped at him,
"Anyways, don't say I didn't warn you," Duncan took a deep breath. "I had this girl I was dating, her name was Carly, she and I are no longer together as she broke up with me when I was in juvie as she moved away to Germany. Anyways we were in the same Math class and the teacher was this douche named Mr. Smith, he was a real asshole, always yelling at the students, never liked the job. Duncan said as he began to tell his story.
"What did the teacher do to make you go to juvie?" Courtney said acting like she couldn't care less but I knew she liked the story.
"Well one day he went too fucking far, one day Carly's car broke down and her friend Tiffany drove her to school but Tiffany has never been great with directions to say the least. So anyway, Carly showed up to math class about 10 minutes late and then Mr. Smith berated her for being late and then he did it, he straight up smacked her the face in front of the class, and I lost it. I snapped and began straight up wailing on him, I had to have 3 of my classmates pull me off. I got charged with assault and I don't know how it managed to only be a juvie service"Duncan told us.
"Wow! That was quite a story" Geoff said looking shocked. "Does anyone want to hear a more positive story?"
"Yeah definitely!" Bridgette said excitedly even though I had a jealous look on my face as I was starting to get nervous Bridgette was gonna fall for Geoff. But why do I care so much?
"Okay so my best friend back home is this guy named Brody, we were at this summer resort when Brody saw this hot babe and he was going to hit on her, however he wasn't paying attention and he spilled his cold cherry slushy all over himself" Geoff told us.
"Brody won't mind you telling this story?" I asked Geoff.
"Oh no Brody is a very chill cool dude, he won't mind" Geoff told me with a laugh. Which soon got everyone laughing sans me Why do I feel angry towards Geoff he's a cool guy but I don't like him and I don't know why. Before I could dwell on it too long, all of a sudden Leshawna thought she saw a spider and was scared.
"Aah kill it kill the thing!" Leshawna said running around the campfire.
"What? What was it?" Geoff said looking around confused.."
"A spider!" Leshawna yelled out.
"I don't see any spiders," Lindsay said.
"Yeah Leshawna that's a rock" Sadie said looking annoyed.
"Oh sorry guys spiders just freak me out" Leshawna said. I immediately knew where this was going.
"Oh no Lequifa, I understand," Lindsay said, getting the girl's name wrong. Damn I really should work on the names with her again "I hate bad makeovers! Split ends, clown facials."
"Clown facials?" Beth asked
"Makeup that makes you look like you are one of the clowns" Lindsay said as Beth nodded. "What about you Beth, what are you afraid of?"
"Well I'm-" Beth started before Noah interrupted which shocked everyone around including me.
"No guys stop this stop just stop!" Noah yelled out.
"Rude much bookworm. We're trying to have a conversation here" Heather said rolling her eyes. "Is your fear so scary you can't scare it with anyone?"
"Yeah Noah rude much, I thought you were better than this" Gwen told Noah although Noah didn't pay attention.
"No, Heather do you guys realize there are cameras filming us?" Noah asked us.
"Yeah, what's your point dork?" Courtney asked Noah.
"You guys know that Chris would be sadistic enough to have us do a challenge doing our fears" Noah explained. "I'm assuming no one wants that?" which got us all to agree.
"Well then what should we talk about now?" DJ asked. That was when Trent spoke up.
"I think Katie and I are dating now" everyone sans Sadie and I gasped.
"Wait, what?" Gwen asked, looking surprised.
"Well we really hit it off last night, she said she wanted to see me after the show was over, and I don't know maybe there's a spark there" Trent said sounding unsure as I could tell his crush on Gwen was fading.
After that revelation from Trent the topic of conversation luckily changed but with what Leshawna and Lindsay little reveal I still had a bad feeling that the challenge was still going to happen.
Gophers Boys Cabin
Noah and I walked to the boys cabin while Trent was still in the bathroom brushing his teeth and I did decide to ask Noah what even is his fear.
"So Noah I am curious though what is your biggest fear" I asked him.
"Dude, not this, it's a bit complicated I'd rather not discuss it" Noah said as he seemed a bit extra happy regardless of my pestering.
"Someone's happy, let me guess Trent falling for Katie?" I asked and Noah nodded.
"You know it, now there is nothing stopping me from getting together with Gwen" Noah proudly acclaimed acting all macho.
"Aw, dude I am happy for you, just be yourself" I told him.
"Don't worry Cody I got this" Noah told me."Well on the bright side there's no challenge tomorrow"
"Yeah let's hope not." I told Noah. "Maybe it's just my paranoia but I feel like that whole convo between Leshawna and Lindsay is just making me nervous"
"Cody, just relax" Noah told me. "Changing topics, are things any better with Bridgette?" Noah asked.
"Well we talked this morning" I began unsure of how to say.
"And?" Noah asked me looking interested
"She's going through a lot, right now I don't know what it is, but she told me if I wanted to be a good friend to her, I would leave her alone for the time being" I told Noah.
"Sucks for you." Noah said.
All of a sudden Noah and I both heard Gwen shout out loud "Fuck Noah, I actually wanted to get to know these people's fears"
"Well I am going to bed. These beds are shit but I might as well get some sleep" I told Noah who looked very upset but was so tired he passed out before what Gwen said could be fully understood.
After that we went to bed and I was asleep, once again no Kyle vision, however I still felt funny as I entered this dream.
Dreamworld
I felt strange. This wasn't like the Kyle stuff where I at least had a semblance of normalcy this felt odd and kind of scary. I opened my eyes in the dream and saw it was pitch black, that was when I saw a very faint red in my eye range, that was when I heard a female voice.
"Why did you abandon me when I needed you most." the female voice said and the voice sounded familiar but it still sounded distorted so I couldn't quite make out who it was. The voice sounded sweet and even though what she was saying was hysterical the voice had a calming prescence.
"I'm sorry I did what I had to do" another voice bellowed out and it sounded like myself, and it was scary to hear myself.
"No you made everyone's life miserable when you went missing" a male voice popped up, and once again I could not quite make out the voice but the voice also sounded familiar.
"What was I supposed to do" the voice that sounded just like me said.
"If you didn't have the guts to resurface in person after you, you should've just ended it all" another male voice sounding a lot rougher.
"You abandoned me, I was stalked harassed and no one in the world gave a fuck about me" my voice said as I continued to listen however after that I had woke up.
Dock of Shame
I once again woke up early per usual, got up, brushed my teeth, took my shower, and went to the dock of shame looking at the sky, watching Bridgette surf from a distance as she looked beautiful with the sun rising as she surfed. But it sucked as all I could do is watch as I couldn't talk to her now as I wanted to keep our friendship intact and the only way to do that was by not talking to her. My spear was gone so I couldn't play with that either. I just stared out in the water as the sun rose. All I could think about was the dream, it felt so real, yet I couldn't pinpoint those voices as they sounded distorted and faded and it was truly a scary feeling.
Chris then spoke up and was broadcasting on the overhead speakers, "Everyone meet me in the main lodge in 15 minutes, it's time for your next challenge". I instantly dreaded this as it was the fear challenge. That was when I heard Lindsay scream her lungs out from the girls cabin all the way from the dock, so I made a b-line straight for the girls cabin.
Gophers Girl Cabin Side
As I ran up I saw all the girls sans Lindsay on the team standing outside the cabin and at the same time I saw Tyler also there to see what was wrong with Lindsay.
"Guys what's the problem?" I asked.
"Lindsay kicked us all out of the cabin and is refusing to open up," Heather told us.
"Looks like Lindsay needs her prince charming" Tyler said as he knocked on the girls door "Lindsay sweetie it's me Tyler open up".
"Go away, Tyler I don't want anyone to see me. I look gross" Lindsay said hysterically at this point as we could all hear her.
"I'm going in" Tyler said, opening the door. By this point everyone had seen what was happening,
"What's got blondie all upset?" Duncan asked walking up to us and at that moment there was another high pitch scream, this time from Tyler who stormed out of the girls cabin running and screaming like a little girl, I would have laughed if Lindsay hadn't walked out a few seconds later.
"What's gotten into him- oh my gosh Lindsay! What happened!?" Bridgette asked. Sure enough Lindsay walked out and her hair was dyed black, she had white makeup over her face with green lipstick and it was unflattering to say the least.
"I don't know," Lindsay said crying. "I go to sleep, everything's fine. I wake up and I look like a freak" Lindsay screamed
"She looks like the cryptkeeper" Noah told me which admittedly got a laugh out of me even if I did feel bad for Lindsay.
"Oh Chris has gone too damn far this time" Heather said and pretty much everyone stormed into the Mess Hall.
Mess Hall
"Hello campers how are you ooh looking good Lindsay" Chris said which earned a middle finger from Lindsay.
"What's going on Chris?" Courtney asked, looking annoyed.
"Oh nothing, but when Noah said we were going to do a challenge based around fears I decided to make his dreams come true" Chris said with a snicker.
"WHAT?" everyone said at the same time.
"No this can't be happening!" was all Noah could say.
"Yeah you guys could have said nothing about your fears and I wouldn't have batted an eye" Chris told us.
Confessional- Chris
"Oh we were gonna do it anyway. I just wanted to mess with him" Chris said laughing,
Back At The Mess Hall
"Way to go dork brain now we have a whole day's worth of hell in front of us" Heather sniped at Noah.
"Yeah and we should start with you Heather, you get your own sumo wrestler today" Chris told Heather who looked scared shitless.
"Wait, how did you know Heather's fear? She didn't even say what her fear was" Bridgette asked.
"Simple everyone remembers pre-season that we asked each of you what your biggest fear was?" everyone nodded. "Well we got those and for those of you that lied (cough) Courtney, Heather, Duncan, Trent, Noah (ends cough), we just called your parents and paid them money to tell us". Chris explained to us.
"I feel sick," DJ said.
"I FEEL HIDEOUS!" Lindsay yelled out.
"With all that being said, let's start off with Izzy, meet us by the beach you have a date with a plane" Chris said smirking evil as possible.
Confessional- Gwen
"Well since it's gonna be revealed later I might as well say what my fear is. Being buried alive." Gwen said looking angered at what Chris did.
Confessional- Sadie
"Bad haircuts are my worst fear" Sadie said crying out still holding the wood from the dock.
Confessional- DJ
"Snakes". DJ said looking scared as possible "They are just so creepy and scary" Ew.
Confessional- Noah
"I'm not saying what my fear is until I face it" Noah said crossing his arms.
Confessional- Trent
"Mimes are my biggest fear. They are just so weird" Trent said looking down with his arm crossed.
Confessional- Cody
"Oh gosh" I said looking scared. "They are gonna know my true fear, this isn't good, I know my parents would tell them about my fear"
Beginning of the Challenge
Sure enough we all walked to the beach where there was a makeshift plane with Chef in a ladies outfit looking like a flight attendant.
"Izzy your flight awaits!" Chris said, snickering.
"You got this Izzy!" Noah said cheering for his teammate. Which got a jealous look from Gwen that I noticed.
After Izzy got on the plane Chris announced who was next.
"Next up Beth." We walked up to a pool full of bugs and worms which got Noah to puke his guts out.
"All right Beth, all you have to do is jump into this pool of worms" Chris told her.
"That's it?" Beth asked.
"Yep" Chris said. Beth shrugged her shoulders and then instantly dove in and resurfaced. "Gophers lead 1 to 0. Sadie you're up here's your wig" Chris pulled out and threw Sadie a wig that was just like the original.
"And if I don't wear it" Sadie asked.
"You cost your team a point," Chris said.
"Ugh fine I'll wear it" Sadie said. "How long do I have to wear it?"
"6 Hours" Chris said. We then went to the stage where the talent show was a few days ago.
Stage
We saw Heather look nervous on the stage looking at the sumo wrestler who charged at her which caused Heather to run away screaming looking scared.
"No point for Heather or the Gophers, DJ you're up" Chris then showed a tiny snake in a cage.
"Aah no no I am not doing it!" DJ said freaking out.
"Like hell you are" Courtney shouted out. "You're doing it!"
"No! Oh my gosh it blinked" DJ said.
"It means she likes you" Sadie said which got Harold and Leshawna to look at Sadie weirdly, "What? I had a pet snake growing up" Sadie defended herself.
"DJ! If Sadie here can have a pet snake you can touch a damn snake" Leshawna yelled from the stands
DJ took a deep breath and managed to get the snake on his finger.
"See guys fear is only in the mind" Courtney snarked.
"Princess, Leshawna got him to do the challenge, not you." Duncan told Courtney.
"Whatever," Courtney said, rolling her eyes.
"Okay next up is Gwen time to hit the beach" Chris said.
Beach
"So what's your fear Gwen?" Heather asked mockingly.
"Being buried alive you witch" Gwen said which got Heather bothered.
"All you have to do is last 5 minutes than we'll dig you up, if we remember" Chris said.
"Not funny!" Gwen shouted as she was in the small container.
"Sheesh take a chill pill Gwen" Chris said as he continued to bury her.
"Don't worry Gwen I'll be with you the whole time" Noah said trying to look confident but Gwen looked angry as if she did not want Noah there.
After Gwen was buried Noah and I decided to keep watch as she was buried while everyone else was walking away.
"Bridgette you're up, you have to spend the next 6 hours alone in the woods" Chris said as they walked away.
"Okay I'll go, good luck guys" Bridgette said, waving off sadly. Unfortunately she still wouldn't even look at me.
"I just want you two to know," Chris said, pointing at Noah and I. "You guys are lucky you're two fears are the last ones on the plate and that's because we got a couple people helping us out with yours".
Noah and I heard Gwen on the walky-talky "So what even are your guys' fears?"
"I'd rather not say" was all Noah and I could say at the same time.
"Aahh!" Geoff screeched as he was getting pelted by hail and kept screaming as he ran by.
"Who's that?" Gwen asked.
"Cowboy Geoff, he is getting pelted by hail" Noah said. "Why Geoff has his own personal cloud I don't know".
"How much time is left?" Gwen asked.
"3 minutes. Okay Gwen I have a question for you" Noah said. "Why are you afraid of being buried alive, that is such a specific fear".
"Okay, fine I will tell you guys, when I was 7 years old my family had this old cedar chest in our house, it was in my parents bedroom and we weren't allowed to be near it. One day my parents were out of town, and the babysitter fell asleep, my younger brother dared me to go in the cedar chest. However he accidentally locked it when I went in and we had to get 911, the cops, and I was stuck in there for 2 hours. Ever since then I have had a huge case of claustrophobia" Gwen explained to us.
Noah and I then saw Trent running away from the mime they hired and as much as Trent was my friend it did get me to laugh. However Noah thought he saw something and ran off without explaining to me or Gwen. Soon after Gwen was done and I dug her out as we returned to the others. I could tell Gwen was getting even more pissed at Noah for that. Great when the love triangle ends this stuff happens. I thought to myself
When we got back we found out that for the Gophers that so far Beth, Izzy (who had returned from the plane), and Gwen had completed their fears while for the Bass it was DJ, and shockingly Leshawna who this time actually tackled Chef in the spider costume while we were away. We then all saw Harold walk up with a bruise on his head.
"What happened to you, string bean?" Leshawna asked Harold.
"I tried to fight off the ninjas that were against me and succeeded. Boo yeah!" Harold confidently said.
"Ok so the score is tied up 3-3" then we saw Geoff walk back with the storm cloud no longer affecting him while Trent instead of just being wet and having the mime walk away, he was wet and was dragging the mime by the head to us as Trent had a few bruises and bloody nose as his nose was all cut up while the mime had bloody fists and a huge bruise on the forehead..
"Make that a tied score of 4-4 then" Chris said looking scared of Trent.
"Trent what happened?" I asked him looking at him as he was bruised and had a bit of blood on his nose still rushing out.
"Well the mime chased me all the way down to the dock, I jumped in the water to taunt it and we got into a bit of a fist fight in the water till I knocked that fucker out" Trent told me trying to act cool as everyone looked at him like he was crazy and Izzy infected him. "Then I dragged him over here."
Everyone was just silent as Chris broke the awkwardness "Yeah so um, Duncan you're up" as we walked to the campground.
Late In The Day
After Duncan conquered his fear of Celine Dion standees with some encouraging words from Courtney. Chris announced Sadie and Lindsay were done.
"Yay!" Sadie ran to the bathroom to take off her wig.
"Get me a sink or shower!" Lindsay yelled out as she also ran to the bathroom to remove the makeup as soon as possible.
"Bridgette! You can get out of the woods now!" Chris announced via his loudspeaker.
"Do you have to play that with all of us here?" Heather asked, clearly pissed off.
"Don't care!" Chris said. "Okay next up will be Tyler, then Courtney, then Cody, and lastly Noah. Also since the Bass is down a member Courtney's is worth two".
Bridgette then came up out of the woods looking relieved to be out as she gave Gwen a hug being relieved the whole thing was over but once again she would not acknowledge me which left me sad. We then walked to where Tyler was met with chickens.
"Okay Tyler your fear you listed is chickens all you have to do is be in this pen with chickens for 3 minutes"
"No no way I can't do it you can't make me" Tyler said hysterically.
"Seriously he's afraid of chickens" Gwen asked as Tyler screamed and ran away.
"Yeah safe to say that's not a point" Chris said.
That was when I noticed out of the corner of my eyes the pool of green jelly and I decided to taunt Courtney a bit.
"What's that pool of green jelly doing there?" I asked with a smirk on my face.
"Oh, but that's not for me, my parents would never tell you about my fear" Courtney said.
"Oh don't worry we have our sources" Chris said pointing over to Sadie.
"You! You bitch!" Courtney was irate at Sadie for spilling the beans to Chris about her fear as it turns out, last night Leshawna and Sadie got Courtney to reveal her fear and the two women started fighting.
"You lead the charge to get rid of Katie! You're the bitch" Sadie yelled out as the two women were very pissed at each other wrestling each other on the ground.
"Well Courtney what's it gonna be? Yours is worth two points!" Courtney pulled herself off Sadie and then sighed and at first looked like she was about to do it and even got up to the platform ready to jump initially.
"I can't, I can't do it!" Courtney said looking down. Then Courtney was back to being enraged "Sadie you are so fucking dead!" Courtney than stormed down the ladder and tackled Sadie as the two girls kept fighting.
Middle of the Campground
"All right Cody and Noah to help speed things your fears are gonna be done at the same time" Chris told us.
"Cody, what even is your fear?" Noah asked me as he also had a look of nerves on his face. That was when my mind went blank as I was scared.
See originally when I said the whole Having to defuse a time bomb under pressure. I was saying that because I wanted to impress Gwen only to make an ass out of myself. Truth be told my biggest fear is being stalked and harassed which was exploited in Total Drama World Tour by Sierra as I had many panic attacks during World Tour off camera due to Sierra.
As if on cue she arrived, aka Sierra, she was about an inch shorter than what she was in World Tour but besides that she was pretty much the same as her outfit remained unchanged. Chris then explained "Meet the #1 Total Drama fan, Sierra! She won our raffle a few days ago to see the first 3 episodes of the season and she was supposed to leave today but when this whole fear challenge came about we asked her who her favorite contestant was, she said Cody and she told us what Cody's fear as she got it from your parents" Chris said.
"I posed as a telemarketer" Sierra told us all.
"The fear was according to Sierra for Cody is being stalked and harassed and we decided to keep her around for this." Chris said.
"I don't even know her. I…. I' scared" I said looking scared like I just saw a ghost as I saw even Heather and Bridgette were scared at this point.
"Cody all you have to do is endure 10 minutes of her 'caring for you" Chris told me. I can do this as I spent two months with Sierra. But gosh I don't want a panic attack.
"As for you Noah!" Chris began and if I looked like I saw ghost, one look at Noah you can tell he looked like he saw a mass murder occurred in front of his eyes. "It's time to bring out your older brother Nick" Nick who's Nick.
As crushing as Sierra's hug was, I didn't even notice as I saw Noah's older brother walk up, he was about Lindsay's height and was about as in shape as DJ, pretty much the opposite of Noah himself. Same skin but he was in a tight blue T-Shirt and athletic shorts. He looked to be in his mid 20s.
"Hey, No no, how's it going squirt?" Nick asked in a condescending tone.
"Fine, Nick, fine!" Noah said, sounding annoyed.
"Oh my Codykins I have been dreaming about this since I saw you on TV except you weren't wearing a shirt" Sierra told me as everyone looked at the girl horrified except Noah who was still dealing with his brother at the same time, and my mind was focused on Noah's situation.
"Why are you even here Nick?" Noah said trying to stay calm, but I could tell he was slipping.
"What's your problem Noah? Jealous of my success in life" Nick taunted his brother.
Noah couldn't take it anymore, "What success you dropped out of college to pursue a pro-wrestling career that has gone nowhere the past 5 years, you completely abandoned me, Mom, Dad, and all of our other siblings" Noah said and you could tell the anger was building in his tiny frame.
"I did not abandon anybody" Nick defended. "Also I dropped out of college to pursue my dreams because College wasn't gonna help with anything!" and at this point Nick was pissed at his brother.
"No College teaches you about life, it teaches you to be there for people, something you and no one in my family have ever been for me. Mom and Dad never paid any attention to me while you got all the love from them and yet you treat them like shit" Noah said yelling at his brother.
"I have been there for our family" Nick said and Noah quickly snarked back.
"When's Dad's birthday?" Noah asked Nick.
"What do you mean?" Nick questioned him.
"When is Dad's birthday?" Noah said slower making his point clear. At this point even Sierra's grip had loosen and I could breathe more regularly but everyone was just mesmerized by what they were watching as we were seeing 2 brothers fight and a family disintegrate.
"September…." Nick said stuttering around.
"March 16th" Noah instantly replied back.
"March 16th!" Nick said trying to make it sound like he was always gonna say that.
"You know I always looked up to you instead of the other siblings growing up or our parents who haven't even notice me all 16 years of my life, because I thought you were Mr. Independent and the way you lived life was how life was supposed to be lived. I took after your sarcasm, trying to impress girls by flirting and trying to act all cool around them, because I thought that was the way I could win this game. But now I am on the bottom of my team, I have only one friend here who feels miserable because the girl he talks to ignores him day in and day out, so he can't be there to make me feel better like he always does, and the girl I want doesn't even fully trust me and now hates me due to my own screw ups. I thought I was getting somewhere with her acting like you but I could tell how you treat women is a sham!" Noah yelled at his brother and at this point he was screaming his heart out metaphorically speaking.
"I don't look up to you. I pity you. I pity how pathetic you are. If I never see you or anyone in the family again I will be too happy as you and our parents made my life a living fucking hell!" Noah told Nick having his voice raise more and more as he went on and was speaking the last part very fast.
"I don't need this. I'm out, get me on that damn boat now so I can leave!" Nick said storing off.
"Um, okay I did not expect that to happen nor wanted that to happen. The fear was just standing up to your old brother, but um Noah and Cody win for their team. Sierra you can head out as well. Killer Bass you'll send someone home tonight". Chris told us as he looked genuinely guilty for exploiting a family dynamic for TV ratings.
"Awe bye my sweet Codykins! I will wait for you" Sierra said, running off.
"Noah are you-" I began to say approaching him, however Noah cut me off.
"Not now Cody!" Noah said storming off into the woods fast as he could run and I had never seen Noah or anyone on Total Drama this upset ever. Not even when Chris saw the plane blow up in Drumheller and I had a first hand seat to that. Note to self prevent Sierra from doing that.
"Wait Noah!" Gwen said as she stormed off going after him. Afterwards everyone went their own separate ways as I just sat down on the ground looking up at the sky. I decided then to chase after Noah, he's my friend and even if he won't admit it he needs my help.
Woods
I walked around looking for Noah to make sure he was okay. I didn't care about the elimination and whether it'd be Tyler or Courtney that left. All I cared about in that moment was making sure my best friend was okay. I had no clue his home life was so horrible. He told me he had 8 siblings during Total Drama World Tour but I had no clue he took after his brother like that. I saw Noah in the woods crying and kicking a stump in the woods.
"Hey buddy" I said sheepishly.
"Not now Cody, I already told you this" Noah said, still angry.
"Look, I get you're mad, but you still have me as a friend and everyone here still likes you" I told him.
"What does it matter if I have you as a friend if the girl I love with all my heart in Gwen wants nothing to do with me after the past 24 hours?" Noah said very angrily. "I should just quit the game now, no one here would miss me" Noah said looking now sad and a bit hysterical.
"Dude it's not true I would miss you like crazy, Izzy would, Gwe-" I said before Noah cut me off.
"She would not miss me at all, she would never associate with a guy like me, Gwen hates me, I should just leave this game in the past" Noah said before another voice interrupted him.
"Don't do it!" Gwen said as she came running up.
"Gwen what are you doing here?" Noah asked.
"Look I am gonna keep this short and simple. I don't know how to feel about you Noah in a romantic sense, but I do care for you a lot. I don't know if I wanna pursue a relationship with you, but I know that you are a great guy, and I want you to stay. Without you, on this team I would only have Bridgette to talk to and I guess Cody" Gwen told Noah.
"Okay can you guys just give me some time to think." Noah told us, as Gwen and I walked back to camp and for about 10 minutes there was awkward silence til I broke the ice.
"So Gwen, I have a question" I asked Gwen.
"Ugh! What is it Cody?" Gwen asked me, looking annoyed.
"Why is Bridgette refusing to talk to me? She and I were so close and now it's like she never wants to be near me" I asked Gwen who looked like she wanted to say something but didn't.
"She just has a lot on her mind" Gwen told me. "Give her some time, she'll come around".
Confessional- Cody
"I really hope Noah is okay" I said looking sad. "As for Bridgette, I just want to be her friend, that's all I want as it feels like we aren't even friends anymore" I said looking down.
Confessional- Gwen
"Okay I like Noah, I really do" Gwen said looking happy but then with a frown as she continued. "But I don't know if pursuing a relationship is the best idea, especially since everyone back home wouldn't like him".
Meanwhile at the Bass Cabin (Not Cody's P.O.V)
"You wanted to meet with us, Sadie?" Harold asked, opening the girls door cabin.
"Yes" Sadie said, sitting in her bed as Harold and Leshawna walked up to the girls cabin ."Tyler and I have been talking and he wants to flip the game upside down and make a big move tonight" Sadie told the duo.
"What are you talking about, girl?" Leshawna said with her arms crossed.
"There's a pyramid on this team with Courtney and Duncan on top, I am like 99% sure Geoff, Courtney, and Duncan have a Final 3 deal or are at least all very close and there is no getting in that trio, if we take a shot at Courtney, DJ will be on board as he and Tyler are very close bros." Sadie explained.
"So you want us to vote out Courtney tonight?" Harold asked.
"Yes, if that's not obvious Harold" Sadie said. "She has been a pain in my ass since the first day when she bitched me and Katie out" Sadie said angrily. "Look we may never get this shot again" Sadie said.
"We'll consider it Sadie" Leshawna said, Sadie simply nodded and walked off, Leshawna than continued "Do you want to go through with this Harold?" Leshawna asked Harold.
"I will do whatever you want, Leshawna, you're my closest ally in this game, and I think we work very well as a duo!" Harold told her.
"You got that right string bean" Leshawna told Harold as both blushed looking away from each other.
Campfire Ceremony (back to Cody's P.O.V)
Confessional- Sadie
Sadie said, crossing her arms. "The queen is getting dethroned, bye Courtney"
Confessional- Duncan
"As much as I would love to dispose of Sadie and her everything!" Duncan said with disgust. "I know it's between Tyler and Courtney so sorry Tyler you have to go!"
Confessional- DJ
"Sorry Courtney, you cost us two points. I hope you can forgive me someday"
Confessional- Leshawna
"I know that Harold and I are in the middle but tonight we have to pick a side, I hope you understand this from a game move, but I vote to eliminate
*static*
I walked up, hid behind the bush and saw the Bass all sitting on the stumps.
"Welcome to the ever stress-inducing Marshmallow ceremony. One by one you will claim your marshmallow and one of you will be the person eliminated tonight. First one up is Geoff, Leshawna, Duncan, Harold, Sadie, and DJ all of you received zero votes." I saw each of them claim their marshmallow however I saw Harold and Leshawna look a bit guilty claiming their marshmallows and wondered what was up with the duo.
Chris began to say "Tyler and Courtney this is the final marshmallow one of you is going to be the sixth person eliminated and one of you gets a second chance to stay in this game. By a vote of 5-3 the final marshmallow goes too…..
Tyler." Chris said as Tyler ran up and claimed his marshmallow so happily as he breathed a sigh of relief as he was convinced he was supposed to leave.
"What no! This can't be happening, why, what, I demand a recount!" Courtney was in hysterics as she saw she was eliminated.
"Sorry girl you cost us two points!" Leshawna told Courtney but Courtney was still angry as Chris was about to escort her off as she was ranting incoherently and was mainly cussing about Sadie as Sadie waved goodbye to Courtney.
"Ugh I can't believe I am about to do this." I heard Duncan say as he began to walk up to Courtney.
"Do wha-" Courtney said before Duncan kissed her right on the lips calming her down instantly as she returned his affection .
"Feeling better princess" Duncan asked.
"Much better, win for both of us! I will be cheering for you the whole time" Courtney said walking away as she got on the dock of shame and boat of losers and just like that Courtney was out of the game and island.
"I'm gonna miss her!" Duncan said, looking at the boat of losers slowly fade away and his usual bad boy exterior was replaced with that of sorrow. "Harold and Leshawna are gonna pay!"
After Courtney's elimination I decided to head to bed. Trent was recovering from his bloody nose, Noah was already asleep as I laid on my bed and just hoped everything would work itself out with him, that's when I felt a feeling I hadn't felt for a while, I was entering into another Kyle vision. Unlike before I was excited to see what was in store and was about damn time as I had some stuff I needed to say.
Yep! Courtney is out. I was 50/50 on whether to send Courtney or Tyler out of the game but I decided to send Courtney out. As much as I liked writing her feud with Sadie and even her interactions with Cody. I felt like Tyler I have a bit more with him I can do, mainly his romance with Lindsay which will be further explained in a later chapter. Also as mentioned his bond with DJ and his desire to make big moves on the Bass.
Now next chapter is a whole Kyle and Cody chapter the first one in a while. It will mainly explore how Gwen handled the news of Cody going missing and how her life ended up in the original timeline.
