Ava or Narwhal to the rest of the world wondered what happened to dragon today, her quiet and reserved friend only ever communicated with people via online as she suffered acute Agoraphobia after the Leviathan attacked her city Newfoundland. She spent most of her time tinkering her self or alongside her friend Armsmaster. So when she heard that a person resembling Dragon appeared on site Q3 alongside an unknown woman and a man who is now presumed to be Ares her mind went blank.
Dragon was then seen leaving via a portal to some place, only for a call to come in from her to the Guild HQ requesting agents to pickup the Dragonslayers who were beaten and tied up like yesterdays trash for the agents to collect. Her friend then informs her that she is en route to the HQ with the her new friend Pandora and Ares, the most sought after person in the world because they wanted her help with something. What could she do to help arguably the strongest person in the world she wondered.
She wondered just how she even came across Ares and that woman, and how did they manage Dragon to leave her home? The tone of her voice suggested that she was along with the two mysteries willingly. She even asked Dragon all the Master/Stranger protocol questions which she answered correctly. Which oddly made her more nervous.
She like the rest of the world wanted to know more about Ares, especially given that the Guild handles and keeps a check on all the S-classes around the world, so she better than anyone knows just how dangerous those beings truly are, And Ares treated them like a bunch of jokes. The manner in which he took the first two S-classes was mind boggling, but the way he took out an army of parahumans and what Moord Nag had turned into, that was really concerning. It was that battle that truly showed her how unfair life could get, some people were simply far beyond the rest of us.
And now that same person was on his way here. She prayed everything went fine because they could not handle a threat on the level of Ares right now and she knew nobody would really show up to help the out. As her thought kept getting out of hand her comms came alive. "Narwhal, we're here, we are waiting for you at the guest receiving area" Dragon's voice announced. Ava stopped walking around and took a deep breath, checking and strengthening all the forcefields that made up her costume and made her way to the guest area.
When she entered the room she saw Tess talking to the beautiful mystery woman, telling her about the Guild HQ, as Ares stood looking outside the window. As he turned towards her she was surprised to see that he wasn't using his energy mask. He was nearly as tall as her, with an amazingly well built body and very handsome face with dark shoulder length air, but what stood out the most was that he had an air of melancholy around him something that completely threw her off. He gave a her a subdued smile as he spoke.
"Miss Narwhal, it is good to meet you, you may know me as Ares but please call me Atreus. Standing next to Theresa is my friend and partner Pandora" "Hello miss Narwhal" Pandora greeted her. She greeted back "It is an honour to meet you as well Atreus, Pandora, please call me Ava as you both have given your identities to me. If you both don't mind me asking, just how it is that you both know Tess? And how did you recover from your Agoraphobia so quickly Tess?" she asked confused at the situation, but was glad that Atreus was being civil in this whole thing.
Theresa let out a sigh, knowing that she is going to have to reveal the truth about her and clear up the misunderstanding, "Ava, there is something I need to clear with you first, please forgive me for never bringing this up before but know that I never intentionally misled you. The truth is that I'm an AI…." Theresa continued as she told her entire story to Ava who was looking more shocked by the minute, "…and that's how I met Pandora and Atreus, I really owe a huge debt to them so when they asked for help I couldn't refuse them" she finished as Ava sat down massaging her head.
"It always felt odd how you managed to keep track of so many thing while being stuck inside your home, I wondered if had built an AI to help you but I never imagined that you were the AI. I don't fault you for hiding your nature Tess, I'm truly happy that you have gotten a lease of life. If I knew in how much pain you were before then I would have definitely done something but I suppose all's well that ends well" she told truly happy for her friend as Tess hugged her for her support.
"Now that we have gotten that out of the way may I know how I can help the both of you, for helping my friend and for all that you have done until now I will try my best to accommodate your wishes" she told them happily, feeling a lot more easy as Tess described how her day had gone by. Plus there was something clearly different about Atreus from the way he looked now and his body language in the videos which helped her calm down even more.
"We don't need a lot of help actually, we wanted Tess' help in calling a press conference for Atreus. We both have realised that he has done a lot to put the people of this world in a tense mood due to lack of communication from our side, we recently went over through many things and decided that the best way to calm the people down was to let them know a few thing about us" Pandora, the super AI told her earnestly which really lifted her mood. This was a very pleasant surprise but one that she welcomed wholeheartedly. Although one thing stood out to her from what Pandora just said.
"I'll be honest with you both, I think this is a great decision on your part" she told them both as Pandora simply smiled and Atreus gave had a wistful look, she had a feeling that he hated publicity as much as her, only his situation was a lot worse since this would be the first time he talked to anyone and people would be clamouring for his attention, she truly felt bad for him "Although I do have to ask why did you say the people of this world earlier?" she had feeling in the back of her mind but it was best to confirm her doubts.
"That because Atreus and I are not inhabitants of the world, we are from a very different Earth compared to here, with a very different outlook than the people here. Hence why I keep telling Tess that the limitations that apply to Parahumans do not apply to Atreus, he is something more than a parahuman" she said seriously, confirming her doubts "I had a feeling that was the case as quite honestly there was nobody like you here before, maybe Scion but he seems different from you" she told Atreus who simply nodded, "Scion and I are extremely different in nature, other that the scope of our powers I can tell honestly that there is nothing similar in between us" he stated with serious look on his face.
"Where have the two of you been staying though, I mean nobody has really spotted you anywhere, unless you both erased the memories of the people which I hope you didn't as there would no way to show that in a positive light" she asked them hoping they didn't do what she felt. Pandora looked at Atreus with a questioning look to which he sighed and nodded. A portal generated in front of them as Atreus gestured to it "It's best you see it to believe it" he said as he stepped through with Pandora following him and Tess giving her an encouraging look. She once more tightened her forcefields as she entered the portal and was greeted by a very futuristic place.
She followed the two owners of the base as she complimented them "This is an excellent looking base I have to say, is it underground?" she asked curiously as she had yet to see a window. "You'll find out soon" Pandora told her mysteriously as they stepped into some form of an elevator, she didn't even feel it move, one moment its doors closed and next moment the doors were open, some kind spatial warping tech she wondered as they stepped into a very large room with huge windows. Before anybody could say anything she came to grinding halt because through the window she could see a blue and green planet on the other side of the window.
"This is a fake window right? Like a virtual picture of some sort, because that is a very realistic Earth I see from the window" she asked them all desperate as Tess spoke, "We're actually on the Moon Ava, the reason why nobody could find them until now was because they never on the planet to begin with" she looked at her understandingly. Atreus held his arm out as a large metal bracelet suddenly formed in his hands, "Put it on" he said giving her the bracer, as she wore it she felt a field of energy form around her.
The windows suddenly opened and a platform began floating before them. They all stepped on the platform which flew down to the ground allowing her to step on the surface of Moon. The energy surrounding her protected her from the cold space as she hopped around in the light gravity, feeling so happy at the once in a lifetime chance. Everybody who looked up to the night sky has wondered if they could ever go to the moon, she never thought that she would get her chance so soon. "This is amazing, I'm truly thankful to the both of you for giving me this chance" her voice reached them through whatever tech they were using.
"It's fine, we knew that if said anything without proof you would not have believed it. When we said that out Earth was different we didn't simply mean that in terms of being our home but in terms of how advanced we are" Pandora said starting the great lie about their origins, it truly felt wrong to tell such a large lie to her new friends but this was the only solution they could find for using their obviously stronger powers in this world. To make up an advanced civilisation which will now act as their origin planet.
"Is that why Atreus can survive in space without any support?" She asked curiously to which he simply nodded "I was different even amongst my people due to the strength and versatility of my powers" he told "I get that, but how is Pandora using all these powers, I thought you were a very advanced AI" she asked wondering about the portals in particular. "It is technology, so advanced that it seems like powers to you. My body is made of some of the most advanced nanomachines even in our world, All the powers you see me using is wavelength and dimensional manipulation using the inbuilt tech inside my body. Since I'm made of nanites I'm everywhere my nanites are" she said.
Ava suddenly understood the gap in between their technologies, it was like trying to teach a caveman about a smartphone. She didn't understand half the words Pandora spoke but understood that it was a lot more advanced than anything even Tess had come up with. "We have a base on Mars as well of which we can give you a tour of later when you have the time" Pandora said opening a portal to the guest room back on Earth. "I would love that" she said as she removed the bracer and gave it to Pandora who simply absorbed it in her. She had one question she wanted to ask after seeing their hyper advanced tech.
"If you don't mind me asking, with technology so advanced how have you both not found your way home?" she immediately regretted her question as the air in the room became tense. Pandora looked remorseful and Atreus closed his eyes and clenched his jaws tightly and his arms folded. "I'm truly sorry for such a foolish question, I didn't know it was a topic so hurtful to you both" she apologised profusely, not wanting to worsen their budding friendship. It was Atreus who spoke in a very sad tone.
"Your question was perfect, you don't have to apologize for something so obvious Ava. When we both first got stranded here we tried our best to go back, hence why I looked so apathetic all the time. I collected data to find out that there was an instance of alternative Earths being found here which increased our hopes, only for us to find out the truth of the matter. You all found alternate Earth within this dimension, something that belonged to this universe. We both on the other hand were completely kicked out of our home universe itself" he paused
"As good as our tech is we can't breach universal walls yet. And even if we could we will have to manually search for our universe which is nigh impossible. By the time we stumble back to out world by chance time would have moved forward leaving us behind, everybody we left behind there dying before we can make it back, that is if we even manage to get in the correct timeline" he finished softly, finally letting her know just why this air of despair surrounded him. He was stranded, far far away from home with no chance of going back.
This was the only part of the lie I didn't have to fake, the pain on me not having a chance to go back will never fade away, but I will make an effort to move rather than depend on Invictus to pull me out of my funk. "Why don't the three you discuss when and how the whole conference needs to handled, I really don't have any input in this matter" Atreus told them all, "What are you going to do now?" Tess asked curiously. Atreus gave a small smile and said "I'm going to be helping starting now and let the world know that I'm back" he finished opening the window and flying away.
As I fly towards my destination I think through all the help I can provide these people. I need to help Africa as a whole in setting up proper administration since I killed almost every warlord there, a few points in management already helped with that, I'll provide them with the documents containing my plans on administration, judiciary and overall management of countries and let them decide if they are interested in following it. Since they have been in the slumps for so long using Molecular Manipulation via Telekinesis to turn their lands fertile and more habitable should help them, I can use Biological Manipulation to boost their yields just enough to give them a head start.
I halt my thoughts as I fly above the devastated area of Newfoundland that has been sunk underwater since 2005. More than 100,000 sq. kms of land sunk into a watery grave because the nobody was to get Leviathan to leave fast enough. Looking to the side even the peninsula of Labrador took a huge hit, with chunks of it torn off into the water. It seems my presence has been noted here as I feel not only a few people look here but quite a few devices recording me. I suppose this will help Pandora and the others in setting this whole meeting up.
I close my eyes and feel the sunken landmass beneath the water along side whatever Labrador lost. I firmly take control of them at a molecular level while keeping a hold on all that water above the land. If I do this too quickly I'll set of a small tsunami, so I gently pull all the above with water actually suspended mid air as I let of streams of it to flow back into the Ocean. The whole process takes around 15-20 minutes before Newfoundland and parts of Labrador are back to the surface, anything broken of has been reattached back to it's place.
Now to fix the soil content and the flora of the place. I start using Biological Manipulation to restore all the plants native to this area and make the lands as fertile as they were. I haven't forgotten about the sea life that moved into the island when it sank, they're all in the mass of water suspended in the air, slowly flowing back into the ocean. I allocate places for all the sea life by where they're found and apologise in mind for moving them without permission.
I was making sure that everything was alright and I didn't leave any element to this whole operation missing when I was knocked out of my thoughts when a large cheer rose up from the ever growing crowd that has been adding to its numbers since I started this restoration project. Its never easy losing one's home so I'm not surprised that people are with this. Since I have time I'll get around to restoring the island of Sydney, the Islands of Kyushu and whatever else Leviathan damaged.
"…this is an unprecedented event in the entire history of our planet that something like this has happened, as you can behind that the Island of Newfoundland and part of Labrador have not only been pulled above from the watery graves but all the flora of the island has been recovered as well…" Ava and Tess watched is shock at new reporter having tears of happiness in his eyes as reported the resurrection of the lands they lost to Leviathan years ago.
"…it has been confirmed that man who restored this was in fact Ares who has chosen to go without his usual flaming mask into the public. After the devastating events in South Africa everybody around the world was asking only one thing, why did he do what he did and where did he go after the battle, it seems like Ares is back and what a comeback it is…" the reporter continued as Ava and Tess were woken from their stupor by Pandora's voice
"I think this is a nice way of announcing his return don't you think?" she asked them both with a smile as Ava simply shook her head in disbelief "This is one of the greatest moments in history of our world, there is no better way Atreus could have possibly announced his return" she said before they all turned back the TV as the reporter interrupted them.
"…wait, hang on folks I'm receiving a message from the studio. Oh my God, it seems Ares is currently flying above Sydney where Leviathan had attacked back in 1998, Australia had never really recovered from the attack and had to depend of internation aid at the time to stay afloat, we have a camera crew nearby, please stand by as we switch to Australia. The camera's switched to Australia and what a scene it was.
Enough sea water to flood entire towns was suspended high in the air with streams of it slowly being guided back into the ocean below. Unlike Canada there were plenty of docks that were built after the disaster which were flying mid air as people were slowly dropped of on the surrounding lands, Boats were flying through the sky as they were arranged neatly in air if they were empty or put away to safety if they had people onboard. The island that been underwater for nearly a decade was slowly climbing up into the surface as the shouts and screams of cheer kept filling the air. Atreus had a calm look on his face as he conducted an orchestra of elements, playing the very Earth to his tune and fixing scars of ages past.
Once his work was done and Sydney was once again restored along with all the damaged land nearby with their flora bought back to their fullest Atreus slowly let the docks and ships and boats back to the islands below. He gave the island one more glance before flying northward
"I think this would be the perfect time to announce the press conference we have been planning don't you think? It looks like he his on his way to Kyushu currently and due to the amount of damage he has to fix there he'll be busy for a while. You can let the people know that the Guild is announcing a press meet up here for any reporter who can attend" Pandora told them all as Tess agreed, "This is the best opportunity to let everybody know, with what Atreus has just done today he is probably the only person everybody is talking about right now. If we strike right now then the people will be willing to let a few things go, especially given Atreus' mental state at the time and his origins" she confirmed as she turned towards Ava who nodded back.
"Please contact every single international media companies and new outlets and let them know that the Guild is hosting the press conference in a day's time, I don't think we can delay it any more than that. Let our PR department use all our social media to spread the word and ready the venue and all the necessities Tess" Ava gave her commands as Tess nodded and started contacting people via different consciousness at the same time. "I'm sorry that this whole thing came out of nowhere for your organisation" Pandora apologised.
"Please don't, the Guild will be receiving plenty of benefits just by have our names known as the ones to host Atreus" Ava shook her head as the news started to show that Atreus was currently flying above the sunken Islands of Kyushu, ready to work his miracle once again.

Guys, we are currently watching history be made. It's like something out of fairy tale.
Two days after that bloody battle in Africa the people of the world wanted to know when will Ares say something and where had he gone?
most of use thought that he had left the cape scene when there was no new for two days, but Ares has in fact comeback. And what a come back it is.
In half a day he undid the damage Leviathan has done to out planet since one and a half decades.
If you thought fixing cities, healing people and fighting entire armies was enough to make this man one of the most well known and powerful people we know of, then just what can I say for bringing back entire islands back to from the dead and restoring their flora?
He went to every single Leviathan attack site and fixed it, from the bigger disaster like Newfoundland, Sydney, Kyushu to the minor disaster sites like Hyderabad, Busan and Shanghai where there were high cape kills but the area was prevented from being sunk and yet took heavy damages.
Various biologists and geologists have been running around on the revitalised lands and everybody says that the conditions are excellent and are ready to be inhabited again. A lot of place were made more fertile as well to help grow all the flora that he grew so quickly.
But if you thought that this was going to be another one of his silent rescues than do not be disappointed my friends, for the Guild from Canada has announced that Ares asked them to arrange an international press conference for the morning of 20th (as it is already night by the time this post goes online) and will talk to the world for the first time! I can't wait for it.
And what seems to have become common since you're reveal, once again thank you so much for all that you have done for our world Ares, I can't wait to hear from you for the first time.

I'm in the same situation. My entire country was crushed and we were never able to stand up on our feet. The current minister of Japan just bowed down in front of national television along with his whole cabinet to thank Ares. It seems he left a lot precious metals in the earth when he brought it back up, and made the lands extremely fertile. Ares is giving us another chance in this bleak world. Thank you so much, words cannot convey my feelings right now.

If you guys didn't already know, the quarantined sit Q3, which was in the town of Eagleton, Tennessee, USA was just cleared out of it's threat, The Machine Army, by an unknown woman, Dragon and Ares early in the morning. Another threat down.

I don't know how you do it, but yes the town of Eagleton has been cleared of it's threat. And the people mentioned above were present there. This will be announced very soon on all new outlets.

"Boss, you never told us that you knew Ares! How can you hide a such a thing?" Wieldmaiden or Olivia to her friends, ran inside the office of Narwhal was was with Dragon and Pandora discussing about the upcoming conference. Stonewall or Ethan without the mask and Glyph or Liam were following behind her as tried to slow her down. Poe or Miles was lagging behind them.
"I' sorry everyone, the event that just took place happened in such a short time that I wasn't able to inform you all prior" Ava apologised. "it's alright boss, Olivia is simply overexcited about the news, will we be able to Ares today?" Ethan asked in a very formal tone. "He is taking his time to comeback because he doesn't like the upcoming press conference, he'll be here in a few minutes no matter how much he drags his legs" Pandora giggled out and Tess copied her and Ava looked like she knew how Atreus felt about publicity, alas in this case it was unavoidable.
"I'm sorry that we haven't been introduced, my name is Pandora, I am an AI creation of Atreus or Ares as you all know him, pleased to meet you all" Pandora greeted as they all introduced each other and were getting to know one another when a knock sounded from the windows, when they all turned to look they saw Atreus flying outside. Ava got up and opened the window letting him in as everybody went silent for a second before they all started clapping and cheering loudly embarrassing him. Tess came in and gave him a hug for restoring her home and Olivia tried to speak without stammering and everybody introduced each other.
When everything settled down Olivia questioned him "Now that your fixed the damage Leviathan did are you going to do the same for all the other EB sites as well?" He nodded "Cleaning up after Behemoth's mess is easy enough, but healing the minds of people affected by the Simurgh will take a bit more time as Pandora and I are going to be fine tuning the psychic bands that will help with mental effects" he finished as the everybody got excited and asked him about the tech, to which he directed them towards Pandora who happily explained it all to them.
"It's a little late now, I would like to welcome you to stay at out guest rooms to take rest Atreus, Pandora" Ava invited them but Pandora smiled at her regretfully. "We would love to Ava, but I've been tracking the S9 for a while now and just got a ping on their location, I want me and Atreus to solve this problem right now rather than keep it for later" she told in serious tone as Atreus raised hi eyebrow and got up and ready to move to the area. The mood in the room got serious about hearing such a grave threat pop up as Ava interrupted them.
"Let me join you both. I know that anyone of you is enough to handle them but I can help you with getting into the US without any problems as the Guild has permission to monitor and engage such threats at anytime" she said firmly as the others also volunteered but were shot down by Ava telling them to stop. Pandora looked to Atreus who simply shrugged, she was definitely a strong woman who could handle herself and he could protect her and fight at same time in case things got bad so he didn't mind her wanting to join in.
"Very well, opening the Portal now" Pandora announced as she opened the Portal and walked in with Atreus and Ava following behind as the rest of the guild wished them luck.
Gastonia, North Carolina
Jack was growing happier and happier as the days moved forward, growing for firm in his decision to open Ares' eyes to the truth of the world, especially after massacre down in Africa. Even they were shocked by the ease at which he wiped out the opposing capes and soldiers, with everybody sighing in relief that they didn't target him by themselves and waited to complete their plans first. After his return today and giving hope to all the people nobody could stop celebrating, making it very easy for them to enter the city of Gastonia where they had managed to track down the current location of the Toybox.
"This is it my friends, those tinkers from the Toybox are in this city for a transaction of some kind, Shatterbird are you having any luck following Baubles glasswork?" He asked knowing that Shatterbird was able to track the Toybox the moment Bauble left the dimension Dodge created due to creations she carried on her. Shatterbird opened her eyes and pointed in to a building in the outskirts of the city, "They're definitely I there and that building is most probably surrounded with enough traps as they did have one entire day to set it up" she finished.
Jack quickly came up with a plan for Mannequin, Shatterbird and Cherish to infiltrate the building as they could track their locations and Bonesaw was ready to deploy murder rat to ambush and tag them all as soon as possible, "Remember, we can't kill anyone of these kids, each are useful in some way or another directly to us, first capture and knockout Dodge so that they can't escape then the rest will fall easily" he reminded them seriously, "Let do this then" he finished.
Mannequin, Shatterbird and Cherish avoided the drones within the building as they carefully made their way up, Shatterbird could feel Bauble's location and wanted to see her to make sure she got Dodge first. Cherish also started to increase everyone's attention towards whatever they were busy with, the building contained not only the Toybox but also their customers. It was a very subtle suggestion to ignore anything other than their work. Once Shatterbird and rest got their eyes on the group she she quickly identified Bauble with all the glass on her standing with a bunch of people examining her products, their main target Dodge, a young boy was talking with another group standing close to Bauble.
Shatterbird instantly used her song to burst all the glass near Bauble sending her screaming and quickly made them fly to Dodge who now hard shards of glass sticking out his limbs. Mannequin instantly ran in throwing away people left and right to secure Dodge as Pyrotechnical made the mistake of using his fire based gun to fire open at Mannequin only for Burnscar to teleport in and attack him and rest. Murder Rat was quickly deployed as it ran around slashing their bodies, marking them and inflicting wounds that kept getting worse.
By the time the rest made their way of the S9 made their way inside the Toybox were bleeding, in pain and scared that it was Slaughterhouse Nine that targetted them and the customers were all crying and begging to be let go after seeing the monsters in human skin walk in. "Well well well, we heard that the famous Tinker group were in town selling some knick-knacks so me and my friend decided why not pay y'all a visit, I'm sure Mannequin could teach you kids a few things" Jack Slash swaggered into the room with a fake smile which sent chills down everybody's spine.
Bonesaw went around paralysing everybody, not wanting to take a chance with someone getting any tinkertech in their hands and ruining their plans, she woke up Dodge and said "Its done Uncle Jack, they won't be going nowhere and take care of their guests like proper hosts do, the boy you wanted to talk to is awake" Jack smiled at the waking boy "Ah, the boy wonder we were searching for, young Dodge you have no idea how long I've been wanting to meet you" he said as got closer to Dodge began crying.
But before Jack could say anything to him they were interrupted by a large Portal opening up in the room sending everyone into alert. A beautiful woman walked out looking at them with a straight face, following her was the one man everybody was talking about, the target of the Slaughterhouse Nine, Ares and the last person was Narwhal, the leader of the Guild who had a grave expression on her face and was creating forcefields all around her. Before anybody could say anything two thing beams of light zigzagged out of Ares' eyes going somewhere outside.
In his van William Manton couldn't even comprehend what happened before his head was pierced by the two beams of light, killing both him and one of the most deadliest beings on the planet, the Siberian instantly.
Back in the room when the Siberian suddenly popped out of existence Narwhal sighed in relief as the biggest threat was wiped out so anti-climatically while the S9 were now truly feeling trapped. "Well, this is quite embarrassing, we've been wanting to meet you for a while now Ares, didn't think you would be the one to find us, in fact we did everything to stay out you sight, so I wonder exactly how you found us…since we were preparing a big surprise for you" Jack said in a very joking manner but was starting sweat from his eyebrows now.
"You were planning on hiding in a dimension of your own and create clones and hybrids yourselves and anybody you caught" Atreus said in a matter-of-fact tone shocking everybody in the room except Pandora. Jack Slash in particular looked at him with a paling face as he croaked out "how?"
'Because that's what you did in another timeline' Atreus thought to himself but didn't say anything. Pandora turned her gaze towards Murder Rat with disgust and Asked "Atreus can you feel it?" Atreus gave the abomination a glance as he nodded "hmm, a mix of two people in one body, they're both alive in there to some capacity. Crude work but nothing we can't fix" he commented as Pandora nodded "you could fix the body right now but the mind is a whole different thing, it's best if we do this in our facility" she states firmly allowing her nanites to invade the things body and Murder Rat fell down as if her strings were cut down.
"who was it?" Narwhal asked in a very angry tone, to which the three turned to look at Bonesaw, the only person who could have created such an abomination. "I-it was M-mouse Protector and Ravager" she stuttered out seeing the gaze of the three on her. "NOW!" Jack Slash suddenly shouted as the zombie Hatchet Face jumped from behind and struck Atreus on the head with his axe, only for it to shatter. The only person his nullification aura affected was Narwhal who was suddenly left in a skin tight skin coloured body suit. She kicked herself for losing track of such a dangerous opponent when Pandora detached a part of her and created a bracer around her arms that created an energy field that protected her.
Atreus simply backhanded the zombie so hard that it burst into a mist of blood. "Pandora please kill Crawler, you should have his location by now" Atreus requested as Pandora nodded "Done". A group of nanites started to form under a RV parked in the outskirts of the city and started to chew through it and multiplying, at such speeds that Crawlers extremely fast regeneration could even begin mending his penetrated skin before the nanites reached and devoured his core, all of this taking place within a seconds time. Once there job was done the nanomachines simply dispersed themselves, waiting for Pandora or Atreus to command them again.
Shatterbird screamed as she let three huge streams of glass to attack the three, the glass pieces simply bounced of Atreus' suit and head which was not even covered with anything, the same happened with Pandora, whose body was made up extremely dense nanites that were compressed to an absurd degree like the Endbringers making almost any physical attack useless against, especially since she can simply have her nanomachines multiply but converting matter.
Narwhal defended herself with her forcefields and judged the distance between her and Shatterbird, once confirmed she created a series of small forcefield that moved around her like a blender chopping her to pieces. She grimaced as she didn't like using her ability in this manner but she would damned if stood there and did nothing to help her friends.
Pandora invaded Bonesaw, Burnscar and Cherish with nanites before they made their moves and created binds around their bodies with nanomachines that not only bound them but also produced a field that interfered with the signals of the Shards, making them powerless. Atreus simply willed his telekinesis to crush the brains of both Mannequin and Jack Slash who still had a shocked look on his face as he died, ending the threat of the Slaughterhouse Nine forever in a short, one-sided battle.
Pandora and Atreus helped heal everybody who was caught up in this mess by the S9 while Narwhal kept an eye at the three prisoners and called the PRT to let them know what had just taken place. Pandora opened a portal to the Mars facility and had drones take Murder Rat's body to the medical chamber where her consciousness oversaw the healing process to revert the changes made to Mouse Protector and Ravager.
"The PRT is going to be here soon, I have decided to take the prisoner back to Canada right now since the base here is not equipped to deal with such high profile prisoners" Narwhal walked to them as they finished healing everybody, Atreus and Pandora simply nodded along as they heard the Toybox leader Pyrotechnic call them and thanked them for saving them, joined by every other person. The PRT started to fill inside with everybody looking at three remaining members of the S9 and Atreus in person.
Narwhal handled all the post battle work alongside Pandora who supported her in what ever way she could while Atreus simply sat cross-legged mid air to meditate, although they both understood that it was to get people away from interacting with him. Once it was all winded up Pandora opened a Portal back to the Guild HQ where everyone was waiting in tension. As Narwhal stepped in with the prisoners they were left wide eyed and Tess quickly called for agents to have them detained in the prisons below.
Once they all settle down and narrated the events of the day Pandora remarked "Atreus, before visiting the Behemoth sites we should take out this Heartbreaker since we are in Canada, he is a real piece of work that truly deserves to be put down, I'll let my drones restrain the people he has affected and cure them once our research with the psi-bands are completed" to which Atreus nodded. Ava quickly spoke up "No! What if he gets you under control? It'll be a catastrophe"
Both Atreus and Pandora shook their heads "My mind is immune to any sort of alteration, making me immune to anything that has any effect on the mind, I'm more worried about the people he has hurt and how to take care of them" he stated calming everybody. "We can help you with that, once Pandora's drones have taken care of the Heartbroken the Guild can hold them until your tech is ready" Tess said making Ava nod along "let's do that" she said.
Once they had all talked to their hearts content Atreus and Pandora decided to head back to the Mars facility to see how the treatment of Mouse Protector and Ravager was progressing. After saying their farewells they entered the medical wing where the body of the two women had already been separated from each other. The only thing to heal now was their minds which was easier said than done.
