A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter twenty - four of this story. Here, Jessie is in danger and she doesn't even know it.

Back at the apartment, James and Meowth were worried. Jessie had been gone for a while and she had yet to return. She hadn't even called or texted either. This was making James especially nervous.
"Why hasn't she called?" asked James nervously.
"Maybe she's deep in tough." answered Meowth.
The two were pacing back and forth.
"You two have to stop before you put a hole in the damn floor." stated Annie.
The two stopped pacing.
"Jessie can handle herself. She's a big girl." said Oakley nonchalant.
"Yes, but she's also pregnant." noted James.
James began heading to the door.
"Where ya going?" asked Meowth.
"To find Jessie." answered James.
"Then I'm coming to!" declared Meowth.
"Then all three of you can have your cover blown." stated Oakley.
"It's worth the risk." said James.
"I refused to betray these guys before I won't abandon them now." added Meowth.
"You're so stubborn." groaned Annie.
"Well, we have been chasing the same twerp and his Pikachu for years now." shrugged Meowth.
"We don't know the meaning if the word quit!" declared James.
"Then I guess we're coming with you." sighed Annie.
"You don't have to." replied James.
"Besides, we know you were never going to betray us." added Meowth.
The sisters shared a guilt look.
"Oh Arceus." said James horrified.
The four all sat down.
"Let us explain..." began Oakley.
Annie and Oakley were in a bind. The two had returned to their apartment after what was supposed to be a nice day out. However, the situation took a turn after stumbling upon jessie, James and Meowth. The sisters quickly returned to their apartment making sure they weren't be followed or had not been seen. Once back inside, Oakley locked the door while Annie closed the blinds.
"I don't see anyone suspicious." noted Annie.
"No one is getting in.," said Oakley.
The sisters sat on their couch.
"Are you absolutely sure those three are wanted by Team Rocket?" asked Annie.
"That's what Gertrude told me." answered Oakley.
"She hasn't lied to us yet." mused Annie concerned.
"If it wasn't for her on the inside, we wouldn't be able to stay one step ahead of being caught." noted Oakley.
Oakley began to smirk.
"What are you thinking?" asked Annie suspicious.
"This could be our chance." answered Oakley.
Annie clearly wasn't following.
"If we help turn those three over to the Boss, it could be our ticket back in." explained Oakley.
"You have a point." mused Annie.
"Exactly! We just need a plan!" declared Oakley.
"But I don't know if I want too." revealed Annie.
"What?!" asked Oakley surprised.
"I feel bad for them." answered Annie.
"They're traitors to Team Rocket!" exclaimed Oakley.
"And they're being hunted, but so are we." noted Annie.
"That's totally different. We aren't actual traitors." replied Oakley.
"The Boss wouldn't see it that way." shrugged Annie.
Oakley opened her mouth to respond, but stopped.
"Dammit, you're right." conceded Oakley.
Suddenly, Oakley had another idea.
"Let's help them." said Oakley.
"Okay." agreed Annie.
And with that, the two finished telling their story.
"So, you were gonna sell us out." mused Meowth surprised.
"We considered it, but we decided to help you." noted Oakley.
"Plus, we were upfront with that if you recall." added Annie.
"The name Gertrude sounds familiar." mused James.
"She's a recruiter for team Rocket." noted Annie.
"I think we met her that time we fell behind our or dues and got temporarily kicked out." noted Meowth.
"Oh yes, the old lady with the Delibird." said James.
"That's Gertrude." confirmed Oakley.
"You said she helps you." mused James.
"Gertrude is loyal to Team Rocket, but is a cold-hearted person." said Annie.
"Plus, I hear she has a troubled relationship with the Boss." whispered Oakley.
"I guess things weren't so rosy after all." replied Meowth.
"There's a lot of shady crap going on the behind the curtain." sighed Oakley.
"Do you think she'd be willing to help them?" asked Annie.
Oakley thought this over.
"Maybe." mused Oakley.
"Where does she live?" asked James hopeful.
"In Crimson City." answered Annie.
The two quickly fought the address and wrote it down.
"Just so you know, she's staying with her daughter and granddaughter." noted Oakley.
"We've lived in worse." shrugged Meowth.
James stood up.
"I'm going to find Jessie and tell her." said James.
"You're still worried about her." mused Oakley.
"I have this gut feeling I have to." explained James.
"Then I'm coming too!" declared Meowth.
"Fine, but remember you never saw us." replied Annie.
Meanwhile, Jessie was still at the zoo. She had not moved from the bench as she was wrapped up in thought over what the old man had said. Alas, she did not know he was a Rocket and she was in danger. Jessie was interrupted by the sound of two people approaching. She looked over and immediately was horrified to see none other than Butch and Cassidy. The two smug Rockets stood right over Jessie.
"Well if it isn't Biff and Cassidy." said Jessie annoyed.
"It's Butch!" snapped the male grunt.
Cassidy slapped Butch upside his head.
"We're here to finish this." stated Cassidy.
"Fine, I'm sick of playing the stupid game anyway." sighed Jessie.
"Come quietly or we'll make you." said Cassidy.
"I have to admit being quiet isn't my thing." shrugged Jessie.
Cassidy snickered.
"Something we can agree on." said Cassidy.
Cassidy grabbed a Poke Ball.
"Go Raticate!" cried Cassidy.
Cassidy released her Pokemon.
"Mine turn." noted Butch.
Butch grabbed a Poke Ball.
"Go Hitmontop!" cried Butch, releasing his Pokemon.
Jessie shook her head.
"I really hoped you two numbskulls would have figured out Giovanni was using you." sighed Jessie.
"We almost fell for your trick." noted Butch.
Cassidy shot her partner a glare.
"We'll never abandon Team Rocket!" exclaimed Cassidy.
"I tried." noted Jessie.
Jessie grabbed her two Poke Balls.
"Seviper! Yanmega!" cried Jessie.
Jessie unleashed her two Pokemon.
"Let's go." said Jessie.
Meanwhile, Meowth and Jessie were searching for Jessie. Thankfully, numerous people had seen her and pointed them in the direction to go. They arrived at the zoo where she saw spotted going into. However, they were surprised to see a large crowd. Making their way through the crowd, they reached the entrance which the police had sealed off. The local Officer Jenny was trying to calm down the crowd.
"Please remain calm." requested Jenny.
"How are we supposed to stay calm!" snapped a man.
"What about our safety?!" asked a hysterical woman.
"And what about the Pokemon?" asked a worried child.
"The bomb unit is in there right now." answered Jenny.
James and Meowth froze.
"Did she say what I think she said?" asked Meowth in a whisper.
A petrified James nodded.
"I have to know what's going on." thought James.
James gulped and tapped on the shoulder of the man who asked about safety.
"Excuse me, but we just got here." noted James.
"A bomb threat was called in after someone found a duffle bag with a homemade bomb in it." explained the man.
James and Meowth both felt their hearts sink into the stomachs.
"Are they sure it's real?" asked James mortified.
"Of course, so." answered the man fuming.
James and Meowth back out of the crowd.
"I can't believe they're gonna blow up Jessie." said Meowth horrified.
James seemed to be lost in thought.
"Hey Jimmy. We got a situation here." noted Meowth urgently.
"Something doesn't feel right." mused James.
"What do you mean?" asked Meowth.
"This will draw a lot of attention which doesn't make sense considering the situation." answered James.
A horrifying realization hit James.
"Unless...the bomb is a decoy." said James.
"Either way Jessie is screwed so we have to get in there!" declared Meowth.
"Right." agreed James.
Meanwhile Jessie faced off with Cassidy and Butch. Along with their Pokemon of course. It was a standoff as each trainer waited for the other to make a move. Jessie and Cassidy had locked eyes. However, this mean Butch was sort of left out in the cold. However, he was sadly used to this. finally, Cassidy lost the remainder of her patience. She wanted to end this and to end it now.
"Use Tackle on Yanmega!" ordered Cassidy.
Butch quickly joined in.
"Use Rapid Spin on Seviper!" ordered Butch.
"Use Haze on Raticate and Silver Wind on Hitmontop!" ordered Jessie.
Yanmega blasted Hitmontop with Silver Wind, but Hitmontop still connected with Rapid Spin. Raticate hit Yanmega with Tackle only to be blasted by Haze.
"You witch." growled Cassidy.
Cassidy was angry at what she saw a cheap trick.
"Use Skull Bash on Yanmega!" ordered Cassidy.
"Triple Kick on Seviper!" ordered Butch.
"Use Wrap on Raticate and Ancient Power on Hitmontop!" ordered Jessie.
Hitmontop began Triple Kick, but was knocked back by Ancient Power. Yanmeag was feeling good until she was nailed by Skull Bash. Raticatemay have landed the move, but was quickly tied by Wrap.
"Let me go." demanded Raticate.
"You'd make a tasty meal." mused Seviper.
"Use Super Fang to escape!" ordered Cassidy.
"Use Rolling Kick on Yanmega!"ordered Butch.
"Use Bite on Raticate and Sonic Boom on Hitmontop!" ordered Jessie.
Yanmega nailed Hitmontop with Sonic Boom before it could hit with Rolling Kick. Seviper used Bite on Raticate, but Raticate used Super Fang on Seviper.
"Ouch!" cried Seviper.
Seviper let out and Raticate escaped being wrapped.
"Butch, Raticate and I can't do everything here!" snapped Cassidy.
"Hey, we're doing our best over here!" exclaimed Butch.
Jessie snickered at this.
"And what's so funny?!" asked Cassidy demanding.
"Watching you two fight like petty children." answered Jessie.
"Nobody asked you!" spat Cassidy.
"Yeah!" agreed Butch.
"Will you shut it." demanded Cassidy.
"Sorry." replied Butch apologetic.
"Geez Butch, you're clearly not wearing the pants in this team." said Jessie.
"I..." began Butch.
"Shut up!" snapped Cassidy.
Butch backed down and Cassidy turned her attention back to Jessie.
"It's funny, I could say the same about you and James." stated Cassidy.
"He got me pregnant so I know how much of a man he is and I actually have a man." replied Jessie.
"I always thought James was a fag. But you're such a slut that anyone could be the father." Cassidy.
"I'm going to rip you apart." said Jessie seething with anger.
"You still haven't figured out nobody is coming." chuckled Cassidy.
"What do you mean?" asked Jessie worried.
"We planted a bomb on the other side of the park. Everyone was evacuated and the entrance was sealed off." explained Butch.
Jessie gulped in fear.
"You're screwed." cooed Cassidy menacingly.
