After the group returned to Sean's village, the whole village rejoiced and while Raya was sure that appearing to them in her full dragon would send the townsfolk run away screaming. But instead, everyone came towards them and the children were the first to greet her, staring in awe with wide eyes at the celestial dragon before them.
Soren carefully helped Claudia climb down from Raya's back, with the aid of Nyx since the mage was still sore from the ordeal and she was freezing cold. As Raya changed back into her dragonoid form, Sean came forward and listened to their story, he and his neighbors prepared a warm meal and hot baths for everyone.
Sean insisted that they rest for a while before they continued on their journey, which was perhaps the best idea since Claudia was still recuperating from dying but also trying to wrap her head around the fact that she now had one half of Raya's dragonheart. Roll credits!

The next day the group took Sean's advice to heart, or in Clurdia's case, half and half heart, and decided to take a breather. Ezran was playing with some blocks with Bait and Zym, stacking them up before pulling one out at a time. At the table, Raya and Calcium were looking at a map to see how far they had left to go. Claudia was examining her new silver skunk stripe in the mirror while Nyx was lounging on a couch, playing with the tuft of hair at the tip of her tail with her fingers like a cat playing with a ball on a string.
Soren stretched a couple of times, did some sit ups, marched on the spot, then marched around the room, then did some star jumps. Everyone ignored him and the room was unbearably silent.
Finally, Soren put an end to his own misery. "Guys!" He shouted. Ezran accidentally knocked down his own block tower when he jerked up in surprise and Raya and Callum looked up from the map, Claudia put down the mirror and Nyx sat upright on the couch suddenly.
"I'm bored! Aren't we gonna do something? Anything? Can we do something fun or—"
"Soren!" Raya shouted.
"What?!"
"If you are bored, there are some toys in the closet. Entertain yourself." She pointed to the cabinet on the other side of the room.
"Okay, cool." Soren searched the closet for anything that seemed remotely fun.
He found a game with an odd little man with a tall hat, spectacle and mustache. Another one of a man in a hospital bed and a red nose, and a very odd game called "hungry, hungry horses". The one that caught his eye was the one that read "Ouija" he had no idea what it meant but it sounded a lot less kiddy-ish than the other games.
Too bad he didn't read the very comically tiny warning sign that fell off it sign that read: IF YOU VALUE YOUR SOUL DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME FROM HELL! IT'S YOUR FUNERAL, BUDDY!
"Hey guys, I found a board game!" Soren showed them the game with a giddy smile on his face.
"Seriously, bro?" Claudia said.
"What, we're bored, it's a board game, come on!"
"No!" everyone said.
"Please?"
"No!"
On the floor, Bait looked at his pegasus friend. "I got a bad feeling about this." He croaked

Because the DM wanted them to, the group suddenly found themselves sitting on a table with no memory of how they got there while before them was the Ouija board and the triangle shaped crystal on top.
Having rolled the best Arcana check, Raya took over and nodded. "Okay, everybody join hands." Raya extended both of her hands, expecting Calcium or Ezran, who sat opposite sides of her, to take them. Instead, everyone held their own hands together as though in prayer. She gave them a flat look. "I meant with each other." Raya confirmed nonchalantly.
Everybody joined hands except for Ezran.
"Hey squirt, aren't you gonna play?" Nyx asked.
"No way!" The young boy snapped, sitting on his hands. "I've heard about these things, and ghosts come out of it. Count me out!"
Callm rubbed his eyes as though he had been doing this for hours. "Can we get this over with? We've got stuff to do." He nodded in Raya direction.
"Like what?" Soren asked, wondering what 'other things' Callum and Raya could possibly have planned. Then again, this is a 'General Audience' story, so let's not mention the possibilities. Right, moving on.
"Who wants to go first?" Raya asked.
"Oh, I got one!" Soren took a deep breath, squeezing the hands and asked clearly, "Where do we go after we die?"
He waited for the answer. Nothing happened.
"When is the end of the world?"
Still nothing.
"If I broke a mirror, do I really get seven years of bad luck?"
Still nothing.
"Should I keep dying my hair?"
"Wait, what?" Everybody turned to look at him. Soren froze up.
"Nothing! This game sucks anyway. Don't even work."
Everyone else agreed and left the table, not caring about the board and decided to leave the room. Except, in classic horror movie style, Soren stayed behind when he heard something move. He turned around and noticed the triangle crystal… thingy (Sorry, I have no idea what it is call! its alright S, just leave 'thingy') started moving on it's own. He made the stupid decision in touching the thingy.
The last thing he saw was a flash.

The next morning at breakfast everyone was tucking in however there was one plate untouched. Well, apart from the berries that had been snatched off it by a sticky little tongue.
"Hey, anyone seen Soren?" Claudia asked when she came downstairs and saw the empty seat.
"No," Raya replied quickly.
"He wasn't in Ray's room." Callum said then blinked. "And he wasn't in mine either."
"I haven't seen him." Ezran added.
At that moment, Nyx bursted into the kitchen, panting from exhaustion and her eyes were wide as though she had just witnessed a murder. "Guys! You've got to come and see this!"
The group ran out and were horrified to see Soren... dancing?
And not just dancing, but ballet, complete with a pink tutu that he'd found from somewhere and pulled on over his tunic. He spun and leapt, doing perfect pirouettes as though he had been doing it for years. The townspeople just stared in amazement. Some were clapping, others were confused and some just tried their best to ignore him.
"What... is... happening?" Callum asked.
"I didn't know Soren could dance?" Ezran said.
"If you call that dancing." Bait croaked before hiding behind Ezran while Zym neighed worriedly. Evie curled inside Claudia's bag, too afraid to watch as Soren gave a powerful jump and left the ground to land on the rooftop before leaping from building to building with all the grace of a gazelle prancing in the sky.
"He's… oddly graceful," Nyx said in astonishment.
"Soren!" Claudia shouted up, "Get down from there! You're freaking everybody out!"
"I'll knock him down with my boomerang!" Callum proclaimed, with said boomerang in hand.
"Not the time, Sokka!" Rayla said. Nyx snatched the bone dang from Callum, glaring.
Everyone flinched and stepped away when Soren's neck made a disgusting cracking sound and his head turned to look down at them. His blue eyes glowed a demonic red and he leaped from the rooftops and did a four point landing in front of them.
"Soren? Sor-bear?"
Soren ignored his sister and locked his scary eyes on Callum before he pulled the half-sylph prince away from the group towards the town square before Raya could stop him.
Watching them, Soren straightening his posture into a waltz pose with Callm.
"What is happening?" Calcium asked, feeling very uncomfortable in this position as he was pulled towards the other. He could have sworn he heard music playing and next thing he knew he and Soren were gliding through the plaza like a couple from Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing with the Stars if you are in the USA.
Try as he might, Callum couldn't break free from the guard's impressively strong grasp. Ezran couldn't resist laughing at his older brother's uncomfortable situation while Nyx was already slapping her knee while gripping her aching stomach, but Claudia and Raya were too mortified to laugh.
"Soren, seriously man, this isn't funny!" Callum screamed when Soren spun him a couple of times before dipping him. It was then Callum noticed the rose in Soren's mouth. "Where did you get that rose from?" At that mention, Soren released Callum who quickly scurried away from him, hiding behind Raya like a scared baby.
"Okay, something is definitely wrong with him." Raya decided.
"Ya think?!" Callum exclaimed.
But Soren didn't stop there. He did a Russian folk dance, river dance, flamingo, samba, tap, disco, and worst of all... the Macarena!
"I don't even know what half of those dances are!" Callum shouted, pulling on his hair and freaking out over trying to make sense of all of this. He grabbed Claudia by her raven shoulder pads and started shaking her like a mad-man, "What do we do?! What do we do?!"
Claudia shook him back then slapped him once across the face. "Get a hold of yourself, man!" She pushed Callum aside and grabbed Raya by the shoulders and started shaking her the same way Callum did her. "What do we do?! What do we do?!"
"Let's not panic!" Raya shouted, prying Claudia off of her. "Okay, what was the last thing we did before... all of this?" She pointed at Soren, who was now doing the tango with some random village girl.
"Hey, that's my wife!" A man from the crowd shouted.
"You mean besides playing the game that can bring back the spirits of the deceased and roam the earth which should be considered an abomination due to the unfortunate and traumatizing outcomes that can only happen by playing with forces beyond our mortal comprehension?" Ezran said. Everyone turned their attention to him. "Seriously, I'm the kid. How am I the only one with his head on straight?"
The group hurried back to the house where the board game was still on the table. Callum, rather impulsively, picked up the triangle thing. "What could Soren have done to—" Callum's eyes went white and he found himself in a dark room. "These games should be banned!" He complained, trying to throw away the triangle thing.
Then, before his eyes he saw what appeared to be some rectangle thing with weird colors flash before him and started showing scenes of the past. He saw a man perform all kinds of strange and unusual dances, but nobody ever danced with him. And thus, he died alone.
When Callum returned to the land of the living, he threw the triangle thing again. "That was horrible! It felt so cold!" He shivered.
"Callum, what did you see?" Raya asked.
"Okay, so apparently Soren is being possessed by the spirit of some dancer who was very lonely and, unless I misinterpreted the message there, all he really wants is for someone to dance with him."
Everyone started at each other, blinking.
"You have got to be kidding me." Nyx said.

Callum: [Confused] Hey, what's happening?
Bait: I think the writers are running out of time to get this done so are narrowing the text down to a script format.
Callum: Dam. Wait... Bait... you can talk!?
Bair: Yes now shut up and get back to the plot!
[Outside: Soren still dancing. Changes from dance to dance very quickly. Each change also changes his appearance to match the dance. With a spin he turns from a tuxedo to a pair of hot pants and begins doing a hip swiveling salsa.]
Raya: (runs over) alright, so we have to dance with him to break the curse.
Callum: I did my time, I am not going again.
Nyx [stepping forward]: Alright, let's see how they handle this.
[Nyx breaks out into a breakdancing challenge, finishing with a head spin. Soren copies and does double finger guns back to the group. Again Nyx tries, pulling harder and harder moves but on his go, Soren does better moves.]
Nyx: [Staggers away, breathless] He's too strong. I can't beat him.
Strange Voice: Leave this to me.
[From behind steps the AMAZING Lindsey Stirling stepping over, violin in hand.]
[Calduia fan girls so hard she passes out]
Soren: [Face dropping] Oh cr-
Bait: LANGUAGE!
[Smirking, Lindsey Stirling raises the violin and behind her music begins to back her up, moving in her brilliant flexible fashion, all the while PLAYING PERFECTLY]
{Story: Hold up, are you really thinking we can do a whole written description of how amazing Lindsey is? I mean… seriously?
Maggies: Oh I know we can't. We will just tell everyone to watch Roundhouse Rival.
Story: Good plan but may I recommend Master of Tides as well?
Maggie: Sure. Now get back to work? We are on a deadline here!}
[By the end of the song, Soren falls to his knees then throws head back to the sky, a red mist leaving his mouth and ascending. Soren collapsing forward.]
Soren: [pushing himself up] Ouch! Man, why are my feet so sore?! And why do I have a sudden craving for spicy food?
[Others run over to him]
Claudia: You're back!
Soren: Where did I go?
Nyx: [holds up the cursed box] So, what do we do with this thing.
Raya: I have an idea. [While still in Nyx's hand, set it on fire.] There, that takes care of that.
Lindsey: I have an idea? [pulls out an interesting book with a dove and a cross on it. Passes it to Ezran]
Once Ezran opened its pages the sun created a natural spotlight, the clouds parted, the sky was a clear blue and a rainbow arched above their heads, all accompanied by an angelic choir. In an instant, everyone felt an overwhelming sense of peace and tranquility.
"Wow. I feel so at peace with myself and everything around me." Soren said I awe at the sight.
"Yeah, let's read that instead." Raya said, leading Ezran back inside and everyone following while nodding and muttering in agreement.
