Chapter 25: New Allies, New Enemies, and Someone in Between

N.C. 20XX, Autumn: World of Go-Busters…

Within the leafless forest, drowned out by the loud chirping and singing of the birds and insects, soft footsteps came from the strange forest keeper as he continued with his daily tasks.

Beet J. Stag, Buddyroid and Enetron-addict, was raking some leaves as he usually did at this time of the day. His day-to-day activities were the same as always. In the morning, he investigates the resident trees for their sap. From then until afternoon, he patrols the forest for anyone that would attempt to harm it. After that, he does his final task for the day, raking leaves of some pathways that lead to the city.

"…Done," The robot said to himself as he finished clearing one of the walkways. Now that it was fall, he had to double his efforts due to all the dead leaves that now clutter the paths, "Now for the next one."

After his long year of fighting Messiah and all his Metaroids, J was content with spending the rest of his days taking care of the forest. That's not to say that he didn't want to fight. Should the other Go-Busters need his help, he'll come to their aid. But now that all the remnants of the Vaglass are all gone, there's no need for Stag Buster anymore.

"Let's begin," J said, arriving at the next spot.

As he started clearing the path of dead leaves, a blinding flash of light suddenly enveloped him. Despite how bright the light was, J didn't notice at all. In fact, from his perspective, there wasn't a flash of light.

Even when the light disappeared and he was now in a completely different place, he didn't realize that something was off. It was only when he noticed that all the leaves had disappeared that he realized that he wasn't in the forest anymore.

Taking his 'eyes' off the ground, J saw that instead of trees, he was now near a bunch of buildings. Seeing as he was nowhere near a man-made structure, the Buddyroid knew that he was a long way from his forest.

"What is this place?" J wondered, not noticing that there were two others nearby. At least until one of them spoke.

"Annnnd my headache is back…"

"Hmm?" Turning to the direction of the voice, J saw two people dressed in…strange clothes. The Buddyroid doesn't know how he could really describe them. What he could describe, however, was the yellow monkey tail that the blonde one had. He didn't know why the blonde had it, just that he could describe it.

It was long and yellow.

"Who are you two?" J asked them.

"Us? Who are you? You're the one that appeared out of nowhere!" The blue-haired one counteracted his question. Luckily for them, J was blunt in his answer.

"I am the forest keeper, Beet J. Stag."

"…Forest keeper?" "Beet J. Stag? What does the J stand for?" The monkey-tailed one absent-mindedly asked.

"The J stands for… Jueki," J casually said, as if he wasn't a robot from another World and talking with someone with a monkey tail.

"…What does Jueki mean?" The blonde's friend seemed to be taking things better than he was.

"Jueki is… Jueki. Now if you could excuse me," Ending the conversation, J took out his Morphin Blaster and dialing a number.

"A robot…appeared out of thin air… and is using a phone," The blonde one summed up what happened in the last minute. His brain hasn't quite caught up with what he was seeing.

"Think he's from another universe?" The blue-haired boy asked his friend.

"…Yeah," His friend sighed, "He probably is."

"Nothing," All J was getting was no signal. Trying to contact the other Go-Busters seems to be useless, wherever he was, "You two. Where is the nearest Enetron Tank?"

"…Yeah, he's from a different universe."

"A different universe? I see," J was aware that alternate timelines/universes existed, as he lived in one for an entire year with the bike guy, so he had no reason to think that he was in another World, "What's the Sentai of this universe?"

"…Neptune, let's go," The blonde one said to his friend, "You, J. You should look for Team RWBY. They can deal with you."

"Understood. Which way is RWBY?"

"They're over-" Before he could finish his sentence, the ground started rumbling.

"An earthquake?" Despite the current situation, J still spoke in a calm and monotonous voice, standing still and unaffected by the ground shaking. On the other hand, the two teens he just met were tumbling around, trying to get their footing.

"What's that?!" Neptune shouted, spotting something in the sky as the earthquake stopped.

"A portal?" J assumed that the purple vortex that opened up above the…he didn't know where he was. A university? The blonde one said that there were dormitories nearby. Regardless, the portal obviously meant trouble, "You two, take me there."

Not too long after, Students' Dormitory…

"Stag Buster!" J declared as the Buddyroid strike a pose.

"…That's different," Pyrrha said after a moment of stunned silence.

"Can that actually be called a transformation? All you did was take off all of your spare parts!" Nora wasn't quite thinking the same as her teammates, "You didn't transform with a belt! You used a gun! Are you even a Kamen Rider?!"

"You are correct. I am not a Kamen Rider. I am a Super Sentai warrior; Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters' Stag Buster." J struck his pose again.

"Sentai?"

"J, can you keep the Raider busy?" On the other hand, Jin didn't care if the new silver warrior looked like a Kamen Rider or not. If J could help, then he wouldn't complain, "I need it to be distracted."

"Affirmative," J nodded before pressing a silver box with a golden emblem attached to his shoulder strap. Instantly, a gold-and-silver sword materialized in his hand, "DriveBlade!"

"Ooh!" Ruby immediately had stars in her eyes, "What was that!? Teleportation!?" She spoke quickly, "What's it made of?! Who made it?! What can it do?!"

"Ruby! Focus!" Yang quickly reined in her sister's antics, "Come on, metalhead. Let's go!"

"My name is Beet J. Stag," The Buddyroid stated his name again before joining the brawler in her charge against the Dynamaiting Lion Raider.

"Keep it busy. I'll try and find what's teleporting us," Jin ordered the others before unfolding his wings and taking off.

"…Since when was he the boss? OW! Yang!" Weiss complained before, in a flash of light, Yang appeared behind her and hit her in the back of her head.

Outside Ozpin's Tower…

"Why-" Slice "-the hell-" Slice "-are there so many?!" Qrow grumbled as he faced down the massive hoard of mooks as he protected the tower. Even if he can take down several of them in a single swing of Harbinger, the fact that the footmen were quickly getting replaced was a bit tiring.

Ozpin and Ironwood had left the job to protect the entrance to the tower to him and the Hino guy while they went down to the vault and made sure that Amber was safe. However, that new guy had run off to make sure the students were safe first and left Qrow by himself.

That guy's gonna get a beating once this is all over.

Cutting down a few more, Qrow was starting to get used to fighting the easily dispatched mooks. Of course, the universe had to throw a curveball. It was just how it showed that it cared.

ATTACK RIDE: BLAST

Despite being a seasoned Huntsman and being part of Ozpin's secret circle, nothing prepared him for the sudden large, blue orb to appear above him. He wasn't prepared for the said orb to split into smaller energy bullets and rain down on him and his enemies either.

"What the-!" KABOOM!

The footmen exploding en masse was unexpected too. Why that happened was beyond him. When he killed them, they didn't explode like that.

Coughing out the smoke and ash, Qrow had his fourth surprise of the day (including this whole invasion). A black and cyan spandex-and-armor-wearing man wielding a large cyan gun.

"…Maybe I really am just drunk," Qrow muttered as the armored man walked up to him.

"You are… someone who knows where this World's treasure is, correct?" The new man asked him as if they weren't in a massive invasion happening at the moment, "Normally I wouldn't ask, but the one here is pretty well hidden. Oh, watch out." The masked man warned before shooting something before Qrow.

"What?" Turning around, Qrow caught a glimpse of one of the mummies dropping dead and blowing up.

"Don't get distracted now. If you do, you'll lose your life," He gave another warning as he took out two cards from a case on the side of his belt.

"And who are you?" Not that Qrow was complaining about getting some help, it's just that a man wearing a full-body suit suddenly popping up is something one should be wary of.

"I'm just a passing-through treasure hunter," The man said as he inserted the cards into a slot in the side of his gun and aiming it at a new group of mooks.

KAMEN RIDE: SASWORD

KAMEN RIDE: HOROBI

"Remember that," Pulling the trigger, a multi-colored orb shot out from his gun before splitting into multiple, translucent silhouettes. The silhouettes then converged and solidified into two different purple-colored armored figures.

The first had a black undersuit with purple and silver armor. With a single glance, one can easily tell that he had a scorpion theme to him. From the green-colored visor shaped like a scorpion's pincers to the mechanical scorpion attached to his sword, Kamen Rider Sasword of the World of Kabuto was scorpion-themed.

The Rider summoned alongside him, however, was the complete opposite of Sasword. He had a purple undersuit with black armor. In contrast to the smooth and streamlined look to Sasword, this Rider's armor looked cobbled together. Finally, instead of a sword, he had a rather bulky mechanical bow in his hands. This was Kamen Rider Horobi from the World of Zero-One.

As soon as they materialized, the two copies readied their weapons and charged at the hordes.

"Urgh…" Qrow groaned as he massaged his temples. The more time passed, the more he thinks that today was just some alcohol-induced dream. Maybe he actually did make it to the boardwalks and was currently passed out on the bar counter.

"Now then, with them distracted," As soon as he heard the cyan man said that, Qrow felt alarms blaring in his head. His instincts had never stirred him wrong before, and if it was telling him that something was wrong, then something was wrong. Without hesitating, the Huntsman immediately leaped away from the first Kamen Rider.

He was proven right, as the armored man had turned his gun on him. Had Qrow not moved out of the way, those energy bullets would definitely have hurt.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing?!" Qrow, due to having been off the grid for the past few months and only recently came back, didn't know of the Kamen Riders that had started appearing in Vale. Back during the discussion up in the tower, he had no idea what the others meant by 'other Kamen Riders' or who Tsukasa Kadoya was. What he did know was that Ozpin thought that they might lend a hand. Rightfully assuming that this cyan guy was a Kamen Rider, seeing as the gun had called the two summons Riders, Qrow didn't know why the former was attacking him.

"Me? Simple really. I want to know where the treasure here is located."

"Treasure?!" For a moment, Qrow didn't know what he meant. The next moment, he knew, "You're after the Relics?!"

"Where is it?" Flying (well, more like floating at the moment) above the battle between the Raider and the Huntsmen and Huntresses-in-training, Jin searched from high up for the one behind the teleportation.

"Four, six." A flash came from below.

"What?" Jin looked around for the source of the voice.

"Three, seven." Another flash from below.

"Where?"

"Hmm? Oh, the Kamen Rider," The voice had noticed Jin, "Forgot you were up here."

"Where are you?!" Frantically looking around, Jin was still unable to find who was speaking.

"This should stop you. Two, eight." Another flash again. This time, however, it came from ahead of him.

"Wha-Ahh!" Ruby, who was down on the ground, screamed as she suddenly found herself falling from the sky.

"No!" Moving quickly, Jin flew at the young leader of Team RWBY. Reaching out his hand, the falcon Rider managed to grab Ruby's, preventing her from going splat on the ground.

"Ow… Thanks," Ruby expressed her gratitude at being saved, although her shoulder was aching from the sudden stop. Before, Jin could go back to the ground, however, the voice spoke again.

"Seven, nine."

"Huh? Ahh!" Someone else had been teleported up in the sky, a certain secretly-robotic girl.

"Penny?! Jin!"

"Catch her!" Despite being weighed down somewhat by Ruby, Jin could still fly fast enough to get close to the falling Penny. However, he was unprepared for how heavy she was.

Down below…

"Where did those two g-OW! Yang!" For the second time, the blonde brawler was teleported behind Weiss and ended up hitting the heiress instead of her intended target.

"Sorr-OW! Jaune!"

"Sorry!"

"We're getting nowhere with this!" With their Auras starting to run low (excluding the two that were late to the party), they would have to come up with a better plan. But with them always getting teleported out of the way, defeating it was looking like an impossible goal, even with their new ally.

"LOOK OUT BELOW!" "Huh?"

Less than a few seconds after the warning, something (several somethings actually) came crashing down on the three of them.

"RUBY?!" "Ow! Jin?!" "Urgh… Penny?! Why are you so heavy?!"

The three had, for whatever reason, dropped out of the sky like a brick. While their Auras had taken much of the blow, it still hurt to have someone use you as a landing pad.

"…Jin?" J had overheard Jaune's pained cry and that triggered something in the Buddyroid.

DYNAMAITING BOLIDE!

Noticing the distraction unintentionally caused by its ally, the Raider activated its finisher and aimed for the pile of teens.

"Watch out!" The Raider wasn't the only one who noticed, the others did too. They also noticed the Raider charging up its attack. Without a moment of hesitation, the five immediately shielded their friends/new acquaintance from the explosive shots.

KABOOOOM!

"Pyrrha! Nora!" "Neptune!" "Sun! J!" "Hey, birdy! Hurry up and get off us!"

Frantically trying to get back on their feet, they immediately went to their friends' sides.

"Urgh… Don't worry... We're fin-Ah!" Pyrrha's attempt to ease her friends' concern as she tried to push herself back up, only to fail and making them worry more.

"Now do you see the powers of the Foundation?" The voice spoke again, address everyone this time, "To be able to reverse-engineer and accurately replicate a new power so quickly proves our superiority."

"So you're the one behind all this?!" Ruby couldn't tell where the voice was coming from, but the fact that it was gloating over their suffering showed that it was an enemy.

"Me? No, I'm simply following orders," The voice revealed.

"And that is?!" Yang demanded.

"To eliminate the Kamen Riders that have found their way into this World. My Overseer had deemed it necessary if we are to continue our operations."

"You're a pretty bad underling if you're going to give out information like that," Yang insulted, trying to get back on her feet, "Stop being a coward and show yourself!"

"A coward? I prefer the term 'pragmatic'. You can't fight what you can't see, after al-" "There!" "Ack!"

As the voice kept droning on and on, J suddenly took aimed at something in the air above the Raider with the Morphin Blaster and shot it. Despite it looking as if there was nothing above it, the silver warrior did hit something as a pained cry accompanied the bullets shattering.

Before everyone's eyes, a strangely-shaped monster started flickering in and out of view above the Raider. Finally, its invisibility failed and its appearance was clear.

Unlike its ally, the monster was not humanoid at all. Instead, it was pyramid-shaped and was a shade of gray. It had talons at each corner and a single, large, bulbous eye separating its main body and the tip.

"So that's the limit… In the end, implementing the powers of the Invisible Memory was just temporary," It grumbled to itself, before addressing its foes, "So then, does my appearance frighten you?"

"You don't look like much," Yang insulted without a second of hesitation, "I've seen better."

"What?! Eight, two!"

In the blink of an eye, Yang disappeared without a trace.

"Yang!"

"Ahem…" Despite not visibly having one, the monster still cleared his throat, "Now that the annoyance is dealt with, we can continue. I warn you to not insult someone with my abilities."

"How did you get a ProgriseKey and a RaidRiser?" Jin questioned it despite not being in the position to do so.

"Hmm? You're from one of the new Rider Worlds, aren't you? It shouldn't be a surprise that you don't know who we are and what we do," The monster chuckled, clearly reveling in the fact that it had something over its enemy, "Unfortunately for you, I am not in the mood to keep talking. Raider, get them! Three, five!"

Similar to Yang, the Raider vanished in thin air. Unlike Yang, it reappeared right behind J and attacked the silver robot.

With Qrow…

While his nieces were dealing with a commander of the invasion, Qrow was busy dealing with a completely different enemy. He was really starting to regret complaining about the mooks earlier.

"Why are you after the Relics?! Are you with her?!" In case the cyan man wasn't working for Salem, Qrow avoided speaking her name.

"I'm simply a treasure hunter. Nothing more," The Kamen Rider said as Qrow blocked the bullets with the blade of Harbinger, "I would be more discreet and do this at an easier time…but Tsukasa left before I could say hi. Besides, no time is better than when he's out doing other things."

"I don't even who that is!"

"LOOK OUT!" And the World keeps on hitting.

This time, a person came falling out of the sky and landed right on top of him.

"That was unexpected," The Rider stared as the person he was interrogating/fighting was struggling to get a blonde-haired girl off of him.

"Ow… Wait? Uncle Qrow?!"

"Yang?!" Qrow knew that his niece was attending Beacon, but he wasn't expecting her to appear like this, "What are you doing here?!"

"Me? I'm supposed to be here?! What are you doing here in Beacon?!"

"I've got business here! And I meant why were you in the sky?!"

"I was up there 'cause that one-eyed bastard being a jackass!"

"I've been ignored…" The two seemed to have forgotten that the Rider was there. Well then, he should remind them. Taking out another card from the case, he inserted it into his gun.

FINAL ATTACK RIDE:

"Huh?" "Uh, oh."

DI-DI-DIEND

Eleven halos of holographic cards appeared between him and the two Huntsman and Huntress as a gust of wind blew through the area. Nearby, the summoned Sasword turned back into a card and joined one of the rings and leaving the Horobi copy to deal with the horde by himself.

"Watch out!" A familiar voice called out as Kamen Rider DiEnd pulled the trigger of the DiEnDriver, shooting a powerful beam at Qrow and Yang. Before it could hit them, however, a yellow blur ran in between the beam and the two, protecting them from the blast.

KABOOOOM

All three people, including the one who threw himself in front of the beam, were blown back from the following explosion.

"Finally, you're here," DiEnd said as the smoke cleared, revealing Kamen Rider OOO in his LaToraTah Combo was the who saved Qrow and Yang, "Hino Eiji."

"Kaitou-" Eiji flinched as pain shot through his body, "Why are you here?"

"Why else would I be here? Tr-ea-sure," Kaitou Daiki emphasized his goal, "I already got the ones in the east and north. And now I'm here for the third one."

"What...?" Qrow didn't believe what he was hearing, "How did you get them?!"

"Hmph? It was rather easy; all you had protecting them was a big, locked door," Kaitou revealed, "Getting in them was a cakewalk."

"Kaitou… DiEnd…" Yang muttered, recognizing the name, "It's you…"

"Hm? Sorry, but you gotta speak up a bit. I can't hear you from here."

"YOU'RE GONNA REGRET COMING HERE!"

Suddenly, Yang's eyes turned red and her hair seemingly burst into flames as anger overtook her. Before anyone could even much as blink, Yang had used the recoil from Ember Celica's shotgun blast to propel herself forward towards DiEnd- "Wha-!" -and giving a super punch to the face, sending him back.

"Yang! Calm down!" Qrow moved to try and restrain his niece from pummeling the cyan Rider into the ground. He didn't have to do much, however, as before she could continue her assault, Yang froze in her step.

"Damn, didn't expect to be hit that hard," DiEnd groaned, holding out his hand as he used the powers granted to him by Swartz. Picking up the DiEnDriver with the other, he shot at the still blonde and sending her flying back as revenge.

Despite the pain, or rather thanks to it, Yang was able to pick herself back up, "Where did you take Blake and Ren?!"

"…I have no idea what you're talking about," Strangely, Kaitou was confused at what she said.

"Kaitou," Eiji said as he got back on his feet, "Blake, Ren, and Sougo. Where are they?"

"First, I don't know any Blake. Second, by Sougo, I assume you mean Zi-O. And third, which Ren? Knight or Kenzan?" Kaitou had no idea what they were talking about.

"What?"

"OOO, I thought you knew by now. It's Tsukasa who gets blamed for things he didn't do. Not me."

A/N: And done! Chapter 25 is ready! There were so many walls I ran into while writing this and undergone several rewrites but I powered through it! The main reason for that, I think, is because I've finally figured out how I want the ending to be like. It'll be a long time until then as there are several things I want to do, but it'll be a ride the entire time…I hope.

With Kaitou's return, he gave two major reveals. First, he's stolen the Relics of Knowledge and Creation already. They're the only ones we know about at the moment so it's the only ones he's got. I'm pretty sure that taking the Staff out of Atlas wouldn't be a problem so long it's not used to create something new. And if it is actually a problem…AR stuff and all that (Don't take that last part seriously).

Second reveal is that he didn't abduct Blake, Ren, and Sougo. If that's so, who is? That's for you to figure out!

The ones off-world are still MIA but they'll be here soon…probably.

I'm saying this now, this story is about a quarter crack and is just whatever goes through my mind when I should be focusing on something else.
