A/N: There is some mentions, and some almost scenes, of sex in the last part of this chapter. I'm hoping the next chapter will be a lemon, but if it isn't, then just imagining the scene where Bella tells Charlie, "I'm a virgin" and that's your formal apology (I am 14 so sorry).

Rebecca's Point of View

"I understand that, but you also have to understand that you're perfect for this. I see the qualities for a leader when I look at you. I want you to rule by my side." He what? "what?" He looked serious, "I want you to rule by my side. to become the fourth ruler of the vampire world." So, this was happening. He just asked me to rule vampires. I wasn't hallucinating or dreaming.

"and if I say no?" "then I'll try to convince you." Good luck, I thought. me saying yes wasn't a likely possibility. "No" I said it and shook my head. I wasn't going to say yes, my choice as a leader would be too big to influential.

Caius Point of View

I watched as Aro told Rebecca what he wanted the odd part was his black eyes. I could see she didn't want to rule, the thing she doesn't understand is that the three of us don't exactly like it either; but we do it for bettering vampires. Aro was about to speak but he wouldn't be able to make her understand, so I spoke instead. "Rebecca, the three of us don't like the idea of ruling either, but Aro want's you because he can see you would make a good ruler. You have a good mind that's unlikely to be influenced by your surroundings. you have compassion; and try to understand things before making you're decisions. You have composure, I saw how you're face changed today, how instead of making a scene you went to a private place to discuss this."

She thought for a second. "Did you ask Athenadora or Diana to be rulers? Because if so, they don't look like there ruling. I don't think I should either." I sighed, "we did not ask them to rule because they didn't have what you do, they weren't made for this position." She looked annoyed, "and what happens when other vampires get a hold of this information? That they have a new queen? Vampires don't change so this would be hard for them to take it. the fact that this ruler is human? A snack? A witch even?"

It would be hard for her to accept, but I knew she would. Eventually. "They'll have to deal with it, and if they don't, then they have to face our power." She huffed, and Aro took that moment to speak. "Rebecca, cara, (dear) when we were fighting against newborns you took charge-" "that's only because you guys needed to make a plan. Your anger was going to influence your thoughts and actions."

"exactly, as I said you kept level head in this situation. When everyone else was panicked and angry you calmed them to make a plan." Marcus had been watching the conversation quietly; but decided to make his opinion known. "I agree with my brothers, you would bring something to this. When our choices aren't unanimous, usually Aro gets the final say, very rarely it isn't an argument between me and Caius." when the conversation started; she looked determined to say no, but now she looked unsure.

I had the feeling that she would accept soon, she just needed one more push. "besides, we aren't exactly known for benevolence. One thing neither of us have is compassion. you would bring this as well."

Rebecca's Point of View

Uuuggghhhh! I wasn't sure what to think. there was still the fact I would likely make bad choices, but they seemed adamant in the fact I would make good ones. "And if I don't make the best choices?" Marcus chuckled, "no one's going to make good choices all the time. That's the point of division of power. Even so, you have us to guide you. If you are lost in what to do"

Marcus was right, they had experience and if I was to say yes, they would help me. "and if choosing me to be a part of all this is one of the bad choices that you make?" "then we'll burn that bridge when we get there." Hmm, what to say? a no again? It didn't feel the same as when I started this conversation. yes? I wasn't completely convinced I would make a good ruler. So, I went with, "give me some time to consider it then."

They nodded almost in sync. "that's understandable cara. (dear)" He reached out for me and pulled me into a hug. Caius stood up, "now that that's over with, I would like to go talk with my mate." Marcus stood too, "me as well." I blinked and they were gone. They were probably in the rec room by the time Aro pulled me into a kiss.

The fireworks flew, I knew I would never tire of it. The kiss deepened, and I was unsure who moaned but someone did. He pulled back from the kiss and the hug, it was now I saw his eyes. They were darker then the two blonde lovebirds. He fed less then a week ago, so what was making his eyes black? as far as I understood he wasn't angry at me so… it meant he was really attracted to me right now. "You don't know how hard it is right now not to claim you." His tone was so seductive that I shivered, and felt my body do something alien. "and that's not helping."

Aro's Point of View

All day it's been hard being in her presence. She smelled only the slightest bit different, but it's been driving my beast crazy with lust. My beast wanted to claim her, among other things. So, when I was talking to her, I wasn't in my right mind. and when they finally left, I pulled her in a kiss. The kiss deepened and I think I moaned; when I pulled away, I was trying to ignore the hardness in my pants. I had the feeling my eyes were black. "you don't know how hard it is right now not to claim you." I couldn't help the seductive edge, she shivered, I don't think It had anything to do from the cold, I smelled the air "and that's not helping."
