Dark, purple chakra began forming around Sasuke. Sasuke's skin turned into a leathery brown, and a black diamond-shaoe formed on the bridge of his nose. He convulsed, as the purple chakra seeped back into his skin through his fingernails, nose, and ears.
Sasuke jolted, and his eyes opened wide, revealing that his irises had turned a piss-golden color, and his eyeballs an inhuman brown. He slowly rose up, grinning wildly, and he admired his body.
Naruto stammered, "S-Sasuke?...".
The Uchiha laughed. He said, "I have all the knowledge of both Sasuke Uchiha and Orochimaru, but my will is only to follow Lord Orochimaru. I am... Orochisasuke!", as he dropped the three-pronged kunai onto the ground.
Naruto growled, "I don't care what you are or what stupid name you give yourself - you're using Sasuke's body, and I'm gonna make sure that I rip you out!".
The newly-dubbed 'Orochisasuke' taunted, "Go ahead, make the first move. Just be sure that you're comfortable with it also being your last.". Chills ran down the retrieval team's spines.
Truly, they were all at a standstill.
With the retrieval team on one end, Team Dosu on the other, and the Sound Six in the middle, the tension in the air was becoming palpable. Each of the ninja placed their hands on their weapons, and entered battle position, ready for anyone to initiate the battle.
Naruto dug his soles into the dirt. It would be so easy to just teleport to Orochusasuke now. But he had all of Orochimaru's knowledge, now. All his abilities, intelligence, and strategies... How could Naruto expect to win against someone like that quickly?
Finally, Orochisasuke taunted, "I guess I'll have to start our little dance!". He made handsigns, and blew a great fireball out of his mouth, aimed right towards the retrieval team.
Asuma thought fast, as he snatched Temari's fan, opened it completely, and used it to shield the team, while also blowing on the fire, causing it to disperse before it could hit its targets.
And that's when the chaos really started.
Bone-like structures started shooting out from the ground, as Kimmimaro's smirk got even wilder. He thought, "This 'Orochisasuke' really does have Orochimaru's knowledge... He deliberately stalled for me to be able to charge my chakra, and use my extra bone density to set up my Shikotsumyaku!".
Tayuya pulled out a flute and started playing it as she dodged attacks from Kurenai. Mere seconds later, a dozen lions and bears (6 of each) began running out of the forest towards the retrieval team! They tried to bite the team, but Dosu shouted, "Cover your ears, Tree-huggers!", and the retrieval team obeyed, as Dosu and Zaku blasted sound waves at the animals to force them to run away.
Though it worked, it left the retrieval team open for attack from the Sound Six. Kidomaru would've gotten a bone-shattering hit on Guy, if it wasn't for Kin throwing senbon into the six-armed man's shoulders, momentarily halting his attack.
Before anything else could be done, Kurenai erected a three-sided earth wall around the Sound 6, so that the only way out would be to face the retrieval team head-on. Kurenai ordered, "Shikamaru, your shadow strangle jutsu!".
The Nara boy grunted, and began using the shadows all around to try and trap the Sound team. However, Orochisasuke leapt into the air, and performed another great fireball jutsu against the retrieval team. They all dodged, except for Neji, who activated his rotation to protect himself and Shikamaru, allowing the Nara to continue with his shadow strangle jutsu.
Unfortunately, the distraction of the fireball made it so that Shikamaru only caught Sakon and Ukon in the jutsu. But even that proved to be useless. Sakon and Ukon somehow separated, breaking off the siamese bond, as they became two unique entities with their own functioning limbs, allowing them to escape the shadow strangle jutsu.
It was then that the earth wall was retracted by Jirobo, as the Sound Six (Sakon and Ukon counted) suddenly all ran towards the retrieval team and Team Dosu.
In the scuffle, it was Naruto who first noticed Orochisasuke running away. He called out, "I'm gonna go get Sasuke! Can you guys handle this?". Asume blocked a punch from Kidomaru and shouted, "Go!". Naruto nodded, and began his chase.
Naruto tossed some three-pronged kunai towards Orochisasuke, but the being nonchalantly swiped them away with his own kunai.
Naruto shouted, "Damn it, what do you want with Sasuke?!".
Orochisasuke hissed and laughed, "I'll use his body to make him remain subservient to Lord Orochimaru! That way, Lord Orochimaru will complete his ambition of becoming the strongest man alive! Then, nothing will stop him from ruling the world with an iron fist!".
Naruto nearly tripped over a tree's root. He yelled, "I'll never let him take Sasuke! I'll kill him!".
Orochisasuke laughed, "It's too late so 'save' Sasuke now!".
Naruto refused to believe this - Sasuke wasn't gone, he just couldn't be! The blonde created a shadow clone, which threw a three-pronged kunai ahead of itself, above Orochisasuke, and poofed away.
Orochisasuke saw that Naruto was still behind him, so he used an earthly vine jutsu to attach an entire line of trees to each other as if they were a chain link fence. However, the kunai that the Naruto clone threw was now right in front of the only place that Orochisasuke could safely go.
Naruto recognized the place. "This the Valley of the End, the massive waterfall where Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha signed a peace treaty before dying!".
Naruto teleported to the kunai, and was knocked into by Orochisasuke. They both fell into the water, just a few meters away from the fall.
As Orochisasuke got up, he taunted, "I didn't think a brat like you could get one up on me... I won't be making that mistake again!".
Naruto scrambled to get up as well, and quickly formulated a plan. "All I need to do is get a hiraishin mark on him, and tire him out, so that I can safely take him back to the Hidden Leaf Village! Oh, that's so much easier said than done...!".
Orochisasuke pulled out a kunai.
Jirobo used the full power of his curse mark, to create a double earth prison. This created a prison around the Sound Six, Team Dosu, and the retrieval team.
Kimimaro removed a pouch from his belt, and swallowed all of its contents - it was full of almonds, a reliable source of calcium. Calcium, though, a minute percentage of the human body, is vital to all mankind. After downing so many almonds at the same time, Kimimaro manipulated his bones such that they forced them through the digestive system - allowing him to receive the full benefits of the almond's milk.
This was directly tied to Shikotsumyaku, as the kekkei genkai relied on the ratio of calcium to the bones. As such, Kimimaro was able to reinforce the outer earth prison with his bones, creating a makeshift cage that, though, only five feet high, was hard as steel.
Jirobo then released the inner earth prison, allowing the Sound Six to be able to directly combat the retrieval team and Team Dosu.
Sorry for the slow updates and short chapters - I'm having major writing block with this fic.
