Welcome Ultras! This is the epilogue to The Ultra 10 Chronicles: Volume 1: The Beginning of Ultra 10! Yeah, I know it's not really an epilogue, more of a sneak peak of the next chapter. So I hope you won't mind! Like I said before, Volume 2 will be the exact same format, except that chapter 1 will be an introduction/summarization for anyone reading that one, who hasn't read Volume 1 yet. So if you're reading this, there's a pretty good chance you've read Volume 1. So feel free to skip to chapter 2! Oh! And the chapter names will continue to go up. So chapter 2 will be titled, "Chapter 32," so on, so forth. It's just the chapter selection screen that will name it, "Chapter 2," or Chapter 3," so on, so forth.
An undisclosed position
"So you've made your decision," Animo's voice came in over the speaker. "Know that the hero, Ultra 10, murdered his nemesis in cold blood." Alex watched the screen, his fingers knit into a thinking position.
"Ultra! Don't!" Lucky Girl's shout came from the microphone.
"I'm sorry, Lucky Girl," Ben muttered. From his camera, Alex could barely see Ben's arm move backward, preparing to impale Doctor Animo through the chest.
"Strike me! And become what I've become!" Animo's shout blared through the speakers.
"I don't think so," Alex muttered. "I can't have Ultra 10 become the villain, before I've had my fun with him." Alex reached forward and pressed a button. The order traveled almost instantly over the internet towards the bug on Animo's coat.
"I have destroyed… Ahh!" Animo shouted in pain. The bug Alex had planted on Animo self-destructed, emitting an electric pulse, electrocuting Animo. The screen went fuzzy as his computer lost the video feed from the bug. The last bit of audio transmitted was that of Animo shouting in pain as electricity coursed through his body. Alex smiled in pleasure at the thought of that annoyance experiencing so much pain before his death.
"Not until I have danced my little dance with him," Alex smiled as he spoke. "Once he has played my little game, then will I break Ben Tennyson down to see himself as the villain that he truly is." Alex smiled a devilish smile.
"Then, and only then, will he have my permission to die."
