Amber got up first and slowly got out of the bed so as to not wake Five prematurely. She glanced over at the armchair in the room and saw Dolores looking at her. Amber cracked a small smile and gave the mannequin a hug. It was almost like Dolores was hugging back but Amber knew she wasn't doing such a thing. When Amber pulled away, she sighed at what she heard Dolores tell her.

"I know we will need to say goodbye once more. Not going to lie, we are both going to miss you when we stop the end. You'll be back to modeling the newest fashions and not have to talk off our stubborn ears."

Amber tried to laugh the moment off but glancing at Dolores' eyes only made her feel lower than she already was.

"Yes, I know...I'm one messed up bitch especially after last night. However, I think going forward I am going to be okay. In time I can see Five's siblings being people that will have my back. Klaus, Vanya, and Diego are a bunch of characters but I do enjoy their spirits. Still need to work on Allison and Luther but not everyone can like you right?"

Dolores remained silent as she heard Five starting to stir in bed. He got up and glanced at his surroundings to see Amber talking with Dolores. Five didn't know what to say to Amber after last night's ordeal with Maude and Amber simply shook her head.

"You can't start being all indecisive now Five. We need each other to kill Harold, find Vanya, and stop the end."

"I know Amber, but I know last night was a lot for you to handle. Just want to be sure you're truly okay before we set out."

They didn't have the time for this Amber thought but she still found Five's concerns sweet.

"We're not setting out in our matching pajamas for one and I know you want your morning coffee with some sugar." Amber flirted slightly.

Five grinned and he hopped out of bed and cupped her face. Amber smiled softly and lingered her soft gaze on his eyes and lips.

"You know I don't take sugar with my coffee...unless you mean this sugar."

Five kissed her lips softly and Amber wrapped her arms around Five's torso as she kissed back. Amber smiled in the kiss and almost all the moments of anguish from last night melted away. He pulled away and Amber nuzzled her face comfortably in Five's neck. They both turned to Dolores and they smiled softly to her.

"You know I will take care of her Dolores, no need to worry about that." Five told her.

The couple went downstairs into the kitchen to see Klaus was preparing some coffee. Luther was already downstairs and he looked like he had a terrible hangover. Amber raised her eyebrow and asked,

"What the hell happened to you last night?"

Luther groaned and cupped his face into his hands. She looked to Klaus and he said,

"Luther decided to be a party animal last night and get plastered drunk. Not to mention he got his cherry popped by some random..."

"Klaus fuck off will you." Luther growled in annoyance.

Amber shook her head in disgust since he was a shell of his former self. Whatever he discovered about his dear old dad and the status of his work on the moon must have shattered the poor bastard. Call her old fashioned, but Amber couldn't understand just how casual Luther took his first sexual encounter. If it had been Allison Amber would have understood, but some random chick in a drunken stupor to heal his pain was distasteful. Five sat beside his brother and took the coffee from Klaus. He took a tiny sip and he grimaced at the taste of it.

"Who do I have to kill to get a decent cup of coffee?" Five remarked arrogantly.

"Hopefully no one if you ask me to make you a cup, otherwise Harold Jenkins just so we can get on living a better life." Amber added.

Luther lifted his head up from his hands and simply asked,

"Can we get started."

"Right right okay but has anyone seen the others? Allison? Diego? No? Alright this is the closest to a quorum that we're going to get so... I guess I'll start off. Now there's no easy way to say this so I'm just going to spill it out." Klaus started.

Amber managed to cackle and respond with,

"We know you like men Klaus and we accept that about you. We also know how Luther shamelessly got drunk and slept with a random club hooker."

Luther clenched his fist and slammed it on the table at Amber's comment.

"What the hell Amber! She wasn't a hooker!" Luther exclaimed.

"She wasn't Allison that's for sure and kind of tasteless to have sex with a random girl while depressed and drunk isn't it? Anyway, we are getting sidetracked. After all, if Klaus was able to summon Maude, he must have had another encounter, right?" Amber asked.

Klaus nodded as he made himself a cup of coffee. He looked to Ben who was shaking his head since this whole conversation was Pandora's Box ready to explode.

"This is a bad idea." Ben warned.

Klaus was very serious as he didn't bother to playfully retort to Amber's comment.

"I conjured dad last night." Klaus admitted.

"Was this before or after Maude. Thanks again for that even though now I found out she was worse than my miserable family and added more emotional scars. Emotional rollercoaster aside, she's gone and confused me that she will see me in another life or another time. Like the fuck was that about. You're dead and now that I know the truth, it can't be like it was if it was possible to see each other again. Though not sure if I will be that sad 15-year-old or the pissed grown woman I am and teach her for screwing with me all those years." Amber rambled.

Luther rolled his eyes at Amber and commented,

"I get it, you now have pseudo mommy issues and she was a heartless woman. Now what about dad Klaus are you talking about. You said yourself that you couldn't conjure anyone in years."

"He's apparently two for two last night so I do believe that he did speak with you father." Amber told him.

"Yes exactly. Before I helped Maude's spirit to pass on, I was able to speak with dad. Yes, I know it's hard to believe but I'm sober. Yay!" Klaus expressed with glee.

Amber smiled and got up from her seat to hug Klaus. Sobriety isn't an easy road but seeing how her brother-in-law was taking the steps to a better life made Amber happy. Klaus really was a kind soul that could do amazing things and being sober would be the first step in being a person people can rely on like she already has.

"Keep it a day at a time Klaus but I am very proud of you. We will celebrate once we stop the apocalypse since this is a big moment for you." Amber told him cheerfully.

Luther and Five watched with stone faces as Amber finished praising Klaus for being sober for one day. It was a minor accomplishment that shouldn't have had much fanfare yet Amber was making it a bigger deal. Amber pulled away and saw the faces of Luther and Five and she scoffed at them both.

"Killjoys aren't we. Trying to be upbeat to your brother since being sober for him is a big deal. But I get it, Klaus is the black sheep of the family so any small thing needs to be scrutinized. Well not for me, but I get it we are racing the clock now and we want to hear more of the actual content of your father's last words, right?"

Luther just groaned as he felt his head pounding aggressively once again. It could have been the hangover but also Klaus had the ability to annoy him beyond any measure.

"Has anyone got some aspirin?" Luther asked.

"Top shelf next to the crackers." Five stated in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Five!" Amber exclaimed.

"What it's Klaus?" he responded.

"Yet we did see Maude last night despite her being dead and Klaus summoned her. Honestly the way people treat Vanya and Klaus in this family is starting to get on my nerves. Both are sweet and kind people yet they get treated like shit. When this is all over, this family needs serious therapy." Amber commented firmly.

Five just nodded since he didn't want to pick this fight and she did have a point or two. Luther ignored her once more and got some aspirin while Klaus sighed.

"I am being serious alright guys! Five you of all people should believe me since you had to comfort Amber from Maude the back from the dead psycho psychic. You have to believe me." Klaus whined.

"Fine I'll play. Your powers are clearly up and running again so, do tell us. What did the old man have to say?" Five asked as he sipped his coffee.

Klaus smiled and took a deep breath since the information he was about to share was going to be heavy.

"Well, you know, first he gave his whole usual lecture about my appearance and failures in life, no surprise there. Even in the afterlife, dear old dad is still a hard ass. Anyway, he did mention something about his murder... or more like a lack thereof. Because wait for it...he killed himself." Klaus told them.

Amber and Five watched in disbelief since they really thought Reggie died from a heart attack and not suicide. Luther, however, wasn't moved and was growing more annoyed with his brother by the minute. He was already having doubts about his father, but Klaus' words made little sense. His dad was too prideful to kill himself and he wouldn't have done something so harmful to himself on purpose.

"I don't have time for your games Klaus." Luther coldly told him.

This got Amber pissed and she shot a fire ball at his back, causing a rising Luther to groan in pain.

"C'est pas vrai Luther! Sit your hair oversized but down and listen to Klaus for once in your goddamn life. C'est important toi imbécile!" Amber cursed in a rage.

Luther slowly sat his ass back down and Klaus sighed once more.

"I'm telling you the truth Luther; I'm honestly telling the truth." Klaus mentioned.

"Then why did he do it then?" Five asked.

Amber smiled and made her way to the seat next to Five and pecked his cheek. He was listening to his brother which Amber hoped he would.

"Well, he thought it would be the only way he could get us all home again. Now whether he thought he meant you as well Five I couldn't tell you but it worked out since you're with us again as well." Klaus added.

This only angered Luther and Amber can feel the heat of anger rising in him. Amber could understand but she also was curious why Luther was still holding on that his father was a good man. He rose up from his seat again and glared at Klaus.

"He wouldn't kill himself!"

"You said it yourself Luther that he was depressed. Holed up in his office all day and all night, right?" Five asked.

"Loneliness can make any man desperate for an escape, Luther. I can see if he wanted his team back together that him being gone would bring you all back in one place. He had an idea and he took it." Amber reasoned.

"Suicidal people..."

"Are all different Luther or he's one hell of an actor keeping those feelings hidden even from you. You have to face it, your daddy was flawed and fucked up like everyone else. Hate to say it since he raised all of you, but that has to be some truth to what I am saying." Amber interrupted.

"Plus, he sent you up to the moon, weird right?" Klaus added.

Luther's face fell and he couldn't believe any of this. He knew his father and there was no way he would do this.

"I swear to god Klaus if you're lying..."

"I'm not." Klaus defended.

Amber was getting frustrated with Luther and was about to say something but she heard footsteps. She looked to see Pogo hobble in with his cane. From the sad look on Pogo's face, he knew something about our discussion and probably overheard their talk.

"Master Klaus is correct. Regretfully, I helped Master Hargreaves enact his plan. So did Grace. It was a difficult choice for us both. More difficult than you could ever know." Pogo told them.

Amber's face fell and she felt a similar sadness to when Maude told her she had to die. How do people just decide to kill themselves, not knowing the effects of their death will haunt the living. Amber wondered if Maude and Reggie were more alike than both thought. I mean, both seemed to be afraid of powers that were too great and decided that their deaths would help in their greater plans. She didn't know the man, but she can tell the news was hard on the guys in the room.

"Grace's programming was adjusted so she was incapable of administering first aid on that fateful night." Pogo continued.

"Oh mon Dieu."

"Sick bastard." Five commented with a crestfallen face.

Pogo sighed and gripped his cane tighter as he saw Luther's face grow paler. He knew Luther out of all the children looked up to Reginald so hearing this news only shattered him more.

"He hoped the mystery of his death would bring you all back here and solve how he died. He thought it would reignite your desire to be a team again." Pogo explained.

"And to do what?" Five asked.

"To save the world." Pogo answered.

This astounded Amber since it was almost like Reggie knew the world was going to end all along. She did wonder why he resulted to this measure to help save the world and not others. It was a gamble but it was one that seemed to work and not just because by chance Five and herself made it in time. Luther chuckled bitterly and commented,

"First the moon and now this."

"And here we go again. Klaus, can you make me a cup of coffee before I have an aneurism. Maybe some bread for toast if we have any left?" Amber asked.

Klaus nodded as he finished making his coffee and went to make one for Amber. He also gave some bread to Amber so she could begin toasting just as Luther went off on Pogo.

"You watched me search for answers and you said nothing! Anything else you'd like to share with us Pogo? Any more secrets?" Luther asked.

This did make Amber curious and she wondered if Pogo did know more about things Hargreaves hid from everyone. She had her strong theories about Vanya since her whole existence in the family doesn't make sense in the slightest. It might have been since she was an outsider to the family, but she knew that Vanya had to be selected for a reason. Pogo sighed and this angered Amber as she heard Pogo reply,

"It was Master Hargreaves dying wish Master Luther. I had no choice." Pogo commented.

"There's always a choice!" Luther exclaimed as he got up and left the academy.

Amber looked to her husband who looked overwhelmed with the news. She tried to stroke his hand but he pulled away to run his fingers in his hair, thinking about what had been said.

"I got to think." Five simply said as he blipped out of the kitchen.

Pogo sighed as he left the kitchen as well. Amber shook her head as Klaus gave her the coffee filled with cream and sugar.

"There's something that is bothering me about your father and Pogo. There are more secrets and I am sure of it." Amber said as she toasted her bread carefully.

"What kind of secrets?" Klaus asked.

Amber munched on her bread thoughtfully, thinking about all the inconsistencies and histories of the Hargreaves family.

"Vanya." Amber simply mentioned once she finished her toast.

She downed her coffee quickly and left Klaus to do some more investigating. Now that she knew Hargreaves was a man with motives and secrets, she knew he had to be hiding more from everyone. She wasn't going to stop until she found out the truth about Mr. Reginald Hargreaves and the mystery as to why Vanya Hargreaves was the unknown Number Seven. She had to be extraordinary and not simply ordinary and Amber felt it in the deepest cores of her heart. She had to be right otherwise it could spell disaster for not only the Hargreaves family, but the world as well.
