Jordynn's Point of View:
A month later Seth and I were in Aspen, Colorado celebrating my 21st birthday. I have always loved Aspen for some reason my mom loves Aspen the same way I do so when I was younger before I went on my wild streak I remember spending some time in Aspen it was always one of my favorite vacations. I like the beach and everything but nothing compares to going to the snow covered mountains and looking at the beauty God created. I have always been the nature type of person, if Seth and I didn't have our careers going for us we wouldn't be living in a big city like Tampa we would be living in a small town in Iowa or somewhere in the mid-west that's something I always wanted maybe someday but not yet. I know most 21 year olds want to go out and party it up for their 21st birthday, get drunk and have fun or even go to Vegas but drinking isn't my thing, I gave up drinking a long time ago and I don't plan to go back to it. One little sip could put me back onto my path of addiction and that's the last thing I want so I choose to remain sober in all areas of my life.
Seth and I only got a weekend here due to his busy work schedule, we arrived late Friday evening and today is our last night here, we spent the day enjoying some time out on the slopes I of course had to show Seth how to ski because he has never gone skiing before, there were a lot of stumbles and falls but he had a lot of fun. We risked some injuries going ice skating together and then after getting cold out in the snow we enjoyed a nice couples massage together, it was very relaxing and then Seth has some plans for us tonight that I can't wait for. I am enjoying every minute of my time with him. It's the first time in a while we were able to get away together, Jonah was excited for his weekend with his Uncle Roman and Aunt Tayla to spend time with Leilani, Lia and Joe it had been a while for him to see them so he was excited and I was excited for a weekend away with my love, a very romantic and fun weekend so far.
"Can you believe it," I say to my twin brother Josiah, "we're finally 21 years old."
"I've been waiting for this day for so long," he says as we are talking on the phone while Seth is in the shower and I am waiting for him to go. "So what are your plans for tonight?"
"Seth brought me to Aspen for my birthday, we had a good day so far but Seth has some other plans for us but he won't tell me. He said it's a surprise. What are your plans?" I ask.
"Proposing to my girlfriend," he says and I can hear his smile through the phone and he makes me smile. "I just hope she says yes."
"She would be a fool not to," I say, "you are an awesome man she would be lucky to have you for a husband, I'm proud of you, Siah, I can't believe you're getting engaged."
"Only if she says yes," he says.
"You know she's going to, she loves you," I say, "she's going to say yes. Then once you're married that leaves Sicily to be the last one of us to get married."
"True," he says. "We're all growing up. It's crazy."
"Yeah it goes so fast," I say, "but I definitely feel older than 21 I mean I got a 6 year old son, that makes me feel old."
"Eh, you're not old you just started life a little sooner than most people our age but you're a good mom I'll give you that and I'm proud of you. You've come a long way."
"Thank-you, Siah," I say as I see Seth appear. I smile at him as he smiles back at me. "All right, Siah, happy birthday, good luck tonight."
"I'm going to need it, Happy Birthday," he says before we both hang up our phones. I stand up and smile at my husband.
"You look handsome," I say with a smile, "tonight must be a special night." It has to be a special night Seth is dressed up and he very rarely dresses up especially in a suit with his hair pulled up into a tight bun. He looks so handsome.
"Well, my wife only turns 21 once," he smiles making me smile. "Happy birthday, Beautiful," he says with a smile.
"Thank-you," I say.
"You're welcome," he says before kissing my cheek softly before raking me with his eyes, "I must say I am looking forward to taking that dress off of you later," he smiles.
"I bet you are," I say with a smile.
"So before we go I have something for you," he says with a smile. He pulls a box out of his jacket pocket before he hands it to me. "Happy birthday," he says.
"Thank-you," I say with a smile before I open the box. I smile as I see a beautiful diamond and aquamarine necklace with a pair of aquamarine earrings to match. "It's beautiful, Seth."
"I'm glad you like it," he says, "let me help you put it on." He walks behind me and places the necklace around my neck, he snaps it shut before placing his hands on my shoulders, he kisses my neck softly. "It really pops off against your skin and goes so well with that black dress."
"Thank-you," I say with a smile as he continues to kiss my neck, "you know if you keep doing that we will never get to go out on our date."
"I have no complaints about that," he smiles against my neck.
"Well, you went through all this trouble to get dressed up I wouldn't want that to be a waste of your time."
"Hmmm, just brining you here and getting all this time alone with you without Jonah was worth it. I love Jonah but he does put a delay in our sex life."
"Kids do that," I smile. "But we still have a whole night together."
"I haven't forgotten, don't expect much sleep tonight."
"I wasn't planning on it," I say with a smile.
"As much as I would like to take you upstairs we have to go," he says, "I don't want to be late for our reservation."
"That's a good idea," I say with a smile.
"Let's go, My Queen," he says before we walk over to get our jackets on, he helps me put my coat on before his own.
We walk out of our cabin and I smile when I see a horse drawn sleigh waiting for us as a light snow falls from the sky. "Perfect," I say with a smile. He takes my hand and leads me to the sleigh, he helps me up before he joins me, he lays a blanket over us before the driver has the sleigh take off, the clicking of the horseshoes hitting the ground as the snow falls as we get a beautiful view of the mountains. It's all so perfect even more so when we arrive to the restaurant that holds our reservations. The sleigh comes to a stop before Seth helps me down from the sleigh and we make our way into the restaurant, Seth talks to the hostess and she directs us to our table, the table is off in a private location just for the two of us. We are seated in front of glass window that has a breathtaking view of the mountains. It's absolutely beautiful as the sun is starting to set in the sky. "Wow, Seth, you really went all out tonight didn't you?" I ask.
"You deserve the best," he smiles as our waiter comes to us and offers us a bottle of wine, Seth looks at me and I look at him, "actually we don't drink but if you have any sparkling cider we will take that."
"I can do that for you, Sir," says the waiter before he walks away.
"So what is it about Aspen that you love so much," asks Seth, "why did you choose it?"
"I don't know, I just remember coming here as a little girl, some of my favorite memories are here. My mom loves Aspen so we took a trip each year and I love it up here. I love the mountains, the snow, I love nature and all of its beauty. If I could have my way if it was possible I would live out in the country somewhere, have a whole ranch with horses, chickens, sheep and all those animals with a beautiful view of the mountains."
"So you want to live on a farm?" he asks.
"I'm not opposed to the idea," I smile, "but with our careers it's just not possible maybe sometime in the future maybe but right now it's not possible."
"I mean we could make it possible," he suggests, "I'm not saying we live there but what if we bought some land out here, just you and me, we rent it out in the winter time and the summertime along with coming to visit for a couple weeks in the winter to enjoy the snow and then come in the summer to enjoy a couple weeks of nature and the mountains, what do you think about that?"
"I think that's a good idea," I say with a smile, "I would really like that a lot," I say. "Would you want to buy land?"
"Yes," he says, "and you can have your horses and chickens," he smiles, "we will just have someone tend to them when we can't."
"All right," I say with a smile, "I like the sound of that."
"I can make it happen," he says as they bring us our cider before taking our order. Seth pours us each a glass of cider. "So what is it about nature that you like so much?"
I let out a soft breath and smile, "nature is just beautiful to me, I spent nearly two years locked away, working on the streets it is just something I appreciate, it's just so beautiful and free."
"I see," he says, "so what was it like, you don't have to answer if you don't want to."
"I mean it wasn't a party or anything, it was very rough. I went through a lot but now I am free and I have a second chance to live my life. I was given that second chance for a reason and I am enjoying every minute of it. When you get into the drug life you never know what to expect, I thought I was cool smoking some weed maybe popping some pain pills but then when I ran away from home, promised a better life promised love I believed it. It turned into a lot more than that. It was a rough life, Seth, I was drugged up, got addicted and then put out on the streets, I was used to pay debts, to pay favors, I was beaten and raped, I hated every minute of it. Sometimes when you try to escape that life you end up dead, we knew that, we knew if we tried to escape we would be dead, we would be beaten, I tried to escape, I did. Kris caught me and he beat me to the point I almost died and then he came into the hospital room and tried to kill me to finish the job, threatened to take my little sister Sicily if I told the police, he said he had friends out there that would kill me if I talked, kill my family if I talked but I talked, no one has come after my family and I prefer to keep it that way, I'm not saying I'm 100% safe because I pissed off a lot of people but for the most part they have left us alone."
"I'm sorry, J," he says. "You're so much stronger than I ever thought."
"Thank-you," I say, "so Wrestlemania is coming up, are you excited?"
"I'm excited," he says with a smile, "hopefully getting that championship belt."
"I hope you do get it and I am going to be front row cheering you on with Jonah, we are so proud of you."
He smiles, "I know, I'm proud of you too," he says. "I can't believe I am actually getting you to attend a show."
"I guess I just love you enough to attend a show, it's crazy wrestling and fame destroyed my parents marriage a couple times and I was scared that being married to a wrestler was going to be destructive but I think you and I make a good team and we do well."
"I agree," he smiles, "life is hard on the road but I look forward to coming home getting time with you and Jonah, I will never understand how anyone can be unfaithful to their wives, I have never once thought about giving into temptation I have never thought about cheating on you, you're everything to me, Jonah is everything to me. I work hard for us to keep it together and you do the same, we're going to be a success story for sure."
"I don't disagree," I smile. "I love you, Seth."
"I love you too," he smiles.
Of course our dinner was nothing short of amazing, we had some delicious vegetable soup, an even more delicious meal of filet mignon, roasted potatoes, seasoned green beans and asparagus which was followed by a delicious desert of my favorite strawberry chocolate cheesecake with Happy Birthday written in strawberry gel on the plate, a candle in the middle as they sang happy birthday to me, it was a special night. Seth made it so special even the nice walk in the snow after dinner before we took the sleigh back to the cabin we were staying in. Seth and I made our way to the door with my hand in his, he opens the door for us before we make our way inside. He shuts and locks the door behind us as I strip out of my coat and hang it by the door. We make our way over to the fireplace and Seth starts a fire before we sit in front of the fire, the only light in the room. "Thank-you for giving me the best birthday," I say snuggled up next to him.
"You only deserve the best," he says as he kisses the top of my head, "I'm always going to give you the best, Jordyn."
"I know, Baby," I say with a smile as I rub my hand over his chest. "I'm thankful for you and everything you are to me. I never thought I would find love or know what true love was and then I met you. You are everything to me, Seth." I feel his arm squeeze me and the smile on his face makes me smile.
"You're everything to me, Jordyn and I love you, I love everything about you this life I have with you, everything we have built together, everything we are going to build together, I wouldn't want to live this life with anyone else but you."
"We're in this life together," I say with a smile, "Remember I won't give up."
"Even if the skies get rough."
"I'm giving you all my love."
"I'm still looking up," he says before he kisses my lips softly, "I won't give up," he says as I wrap my arms around him as he kisses me passionately, the passion building in our kiss, the fire crackling in the background as we strip each other out of our clothes. We can hardly wait to take each other, as I am stripped out of my clothes and Seth is stripped from his, he gently lays me down onto the floor in front of the fire, his lips on mine as he covers my body with his, I undo his bun freeing his hair, taking my hands through his hair as he parts my legs softly, his cock at the entrance of my sex. "I know, Baby," I say with a smile as I face him, "I won't give up either, we are in this together and forever."
