I don't own Total Drama and The Walking Dead.

Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.

Brendan: I heard about 28 days later and I love the sountrack that his movie has :)

Dr Changer: You'll find out in this chapter :)

Courtney clenched her teeth in pain as the Governor send another powerful punch at her stomach. Her eyes were looking up at the ceiling as she was hoping that the Governor was going to stop soon. She turned her gaze away from the ceiling towards her side and saw Milton's body which was moved here after she and Terry were caught attempting to break Andrea out of her prison. Terry's body was laying on their left side, his face facing the floor, not a single breath leaving his lungs.

"I have to say I'm quite impressed because I wasn't excepting this thing from you when I set my eyes on you and Andrea back in the forest." The Governor spoke up to her, pinning the beaten up CIT against the wall, "You managed to convice these two to betray me and you actually helped Dr. Stevens get out of here."

"...What?" Courtney asked, wanting to be sure if she didn't misheard it, weakly, "...Dr. Stevens managed to escape?

"Yes." Jose nodded in confirmation as he watched it all from the other side of the room, "Too bad we didn't manage to catch her, but we'll make sure that she'll get what she deserves for defecting after we'll take care of your friends from the prison."

"If she only knew what one of her new friends did." The Governor stated, "Eight of my men died, eight men that kept her safe and fed."

"At what cost?" Courtney asked him, glaring at the man beating her up, "She couldn't live like that anymore."

"You and Andrea knew these men. " The Governor told her, returning her glare, "And now they're gone, because your good pal Merle killed them. Good thing I made sure that he got what he deserved."

Courtney closed her eyes and could imagine Andrea shaking her head. They still couldn't believe that Merle Dixon was dead. They didn't like him that much back in Atlanta but ultimately they ended up taking a liking in the older Dixon, even though it was only a very small one.

"You don't have to lose anymore of your men." Andrea spoke up, as she was unable to do anything to help her friend, "Just stop this."

"Your friends at the prison." The Governor grabbed Courtney by her chin, causing her to open her eyes and look at him, before responding to Andrea's words, "I'm gonna kill them all. People are gonna help me. I had to stretch the truth a little bit, but just a little."

"What would your daughter think if she saw the type of a person you became?" Courtney asked the Governor, knowing how risky it was to question this psycho about his dead daughter, but she had to try.

"She'd be afraid of me. But if I had been like this from the start, she'd be alive today." The Governor pointed out, as he set his gaze on Courtney, "You and Andrea want to stop me from killing your friends in the prison, right? You want them to survive this day? Am I right?"

Courtney only gave him a silent nod of confirmation.

"How about we play a game?" The Governor continued as he let go off Courtney's chin. The CIT slided down the wall to the floor as the Governor turned around to look at Jose, gesturing for him to approach him. Jose walked over to him and the Governor unsheathed his knife and held it out to Courtney, "I'm giving you a chance to kill me. If you we succeed, my people will let you go and leave you friends alone."

Courtney groaned in pain as she slowly got herself back on her feet and although at first she was a bit hesitant about it, took the knife from the Governor, hearing how Jose spoke up to her right after, "I'll give a warning, senorita. Don't do this."

The CIT removed her gaze from the knife and tightened her grip around it. She glared at the Governor who was looking at her with completely blank expression his face. She let out one deep breath after another as she debated if herself if she should take the shot or not.

"Do it." The Governor encouraged her to end his life, "Do it for your friends. You want to them to be alive, don't you? If you don't do it, I'll make sure that Jose's younger brother will point out the people from your old group that you are the closest with and kill them right in front you. I'll make them beg for mercy, and right before I'll end their life, I'll tell them that I gave you a chance to save them, but you were too scared to try..."

This was enough for Courtney. The images of her closest friend Bridgette, her boyfriend Duncan and the person that saved her life Michonne dying by the Governor's hands flew through her head. She couldn't let that happen to them. She couldn't let them share the fate of every person that the Governor has killed. She lunged for the Governor, with the intention of making sure that this monster she once thought to be a decent person was not going to hurt anyone else but Jose stepped in between them. He grabbed Courtney's hand and quickly took the knife away from her.

"I did warn you not to do this." He told her before placing the knife right in her stomach. Courtney gasped at the explosions of pain that went through her body as Jose pinned her against the wall.

"Courtney!" Andrea cried out in worry for her friend as she tried to get up from the chair, but she couldn't. She couldn only watch how Jose pulled his knife out of Courtney's stomach and stabbed her again.

Jose kept his knife in Courtney's stomach as the Governor came over to his side, "Now you're gonna die. And you're gonna turn. And you're gonna tear the flesh from her bones. In this life now, you kill or you die. Or you die and you kill."

He glanced over to Jose and nodded his head. Jose nodded in return as he pulled his knife out of Courtney's stomach. The CIT slided down to the floor, clutching her wound in pain. The Governor send Andrea who was staring at her wounded friend in completely shock one last look before coming out of the room along with Jose, leaving the two women alone.

Things were pretty busy in the prison. Each member of the group was loading their things and supplies into the bags and placing them in the cars. Rick tried to talk with his son but Carl ignored him before walking over to the Hyundai and handing his bag out to Beth who placed it in the trunk.

Glenn came over to Rick, having a chance to see how Carl ignored his father, "I've never seen him this mad. Even with Lori. He just shut down."

"He's still a kid." Rick pointed out, "It's easy to forget."

Glenn just gave him a quick nod in response before walking away from the leader of his group. Rick went over to the doors of the driver's seat and opened them before spotting something. He glanced up at the catwalk and saw his wife, staring down at him.

"You know." Daryl spoke up to Duncan and Carol, "Merle never did nothing like that his whole life."

"He gave us a chance." Carol stated.

"I'm sorry for what happened to him, man." Duncan said to his friend, "You just reunited with him after all this time and now he's gone."

"Don't be." Daryl told him in response, "What happened, already happened, and we can't change it. At least he went out doing something good."

Rick turned his gaze away from his wife before he heard someone approach him. He turned to look at this person and saw Michonne, "We're ready. The deal the Governor offered about me, you had to think about it. You had to. I get it."

"Yeah." Rick nodded, "I'm sorry. I came real close."

"But you didn't." Michonne pointed out, "I never thanked you."

"For what?" Rick asked her, having no idea what what she was talking about.

"For getting me out there that day, taking me in." Michonne explained.

"Well, if you didn't have that baby formula, I wouldn't have." Rick pointed out.

"You could have just taken the formula." Michonne pointed out in return.

"Well..." Rick began, "Must have been something else, then. You know, it was Carl, Chris and Chef who made the call. They said you belonged here and that you have proved yourself to be trustworthy. You're one of us."

Oscar came running from the other side of the yard, "Guys. I just noticed a blue truck we gave those old friend of yours. It's driving towards the prison."

Everyone quickly reacted to that. Rick, Michonne, Chef, Chris, Duncan, Daryl, Alejandro, Izzy, Eva, Geoff, Harold, Gwen and Heather readied their weapons and followed Oscar to the fence while the others stayed behind, already prepared for anything that was going to happen. The group ran over to Ezekiel who was keeping the watch along with Oscar.

"Who's that?" Gwen asked Ezekielw who was looking at the truck through the binoculars.

"Is that Andrea or Courtney?" Duncan asked right after, hoping that Ezekiel will confirm it.

"I don't know, eh." Ezekiel shook his head as he lowered his binoculars, "Never seen this woman before."

"Woman?" Alejandro asked as Ezekiel handed him the binoculars. He looked through them and saw a black skinned glasses wearing woman in the driver seat of the truck, "Be ready, amigos. This might be a bait."

Dr. Stevens stopped the truck in front of the gate as the undead began coming closer to her. She opened the window and yelled out, "Let me in! I'm not here to fight with you!"

"How can we know that you're not lying?" Heather wanted to know.

"Courtney send me here!" Dr. Stevens explained, "Let me in and I'll explain everything!"

Chris glanced at Rick, "What should we do with her?"

"Let her in." Rick answered to which Oscar and Ezekiel nodded and quickly hurried over to the gate.

"What?" Eva asked, "Are you crazy? What if they're just waiting for us to do that?"

"I don't think so." Chef shook his head, eyeing Dr. Stevens' clothing, "She looks like a doctor to me. I don't think that even the Governor would risk losing a doctor."

"That's because she is a doctor." Michonne confirmed Chef's assumptions, "She took care of me, Andrea and Courtney after we were brought to Woodbury."

Dr. Stevens drove the truck into the yard and Ezekiel and Oscar made sure to lock it right after. Everyone walked over to the truck and aimed their weapons at Dr. Stevens who came out of it and rised her hands in the air, nervous by the fact that all these people had their weapons aimed at her, but understanding why.

"You can lower your weapons." She told them, keeping her hands raised in the air, "I came here alone."

"You said something about Courtney sending you here." Daryl pointed out, "Tell us everything."

"We were leaving Woodbury together." Dr. Stevens began her explanation.

"Leaving together?" Duncan said, "Is she coming here too?"

"I don't know." Dr. Stevens answered, "She and Terry told me to wait for them in this truck while they went together to get Andrea. I came here without them because they told to wait an hour for them. They didn't, and even though I wish that I waited for them a bit longer, I did what they told me to. They might be heading here right now on foot."

"Terry?" Trent titled his head, "Who's that?"

"The guy that was one of the people that the Governor took the meeting." Izzy explained, recalling seeing that man on the meeting.

"I and Hershel had a chance to talk with him." Heather declared, "He told me that he hates the idea of going to war as much as we do."

Chef lowered his M16 after a few seconds, deciding to trust Dr. Stevens, "I don't think she's lying."

Alejandro turned look at him, still unsure about this entire situation, "How can you be so sure?"

"Because as Michonne already confirmed it to us, this woman here is a doctor." Chef explained, "And as I already said, I don't think that the Governor would risk losing a doctor, especially after losing all of these people thanks to Merle."

"I know that you don't trust me and I can't blame you for that, but I want you to know how much I risked by agreeing with your friend to come here. The Governor would most likely execute me if they caught me escaping." Dr. Stevens explained as turned around to the blue truck and reached into it, pulling out a bag of medication she stole from Woodbury, "I took all the medication we had in Woodbury with me. I don't have any other place to go. All I'm asking here is a chance to prove myself."

Rick turned around, away from the scene in front of him and saw that his wife was still staring at him from the catwalk. She turned his gaze back to Dr. Stevens and asked her, "What's your name?"

Dr. Stevens was silent for a few seconds before responding, "Anna."

"Anna." Rick said, "You said that you want us to give you a chance to prove yourself to be trustworthy to our group?"

"That is all I'm asking for." Dr. Stevens confirmed it.

Rick nodded his head in response as he made his choice, "Then, we'll give to you."

The Governor and Jose walked through the streets of Woodbury as they walked over to the main gate where the residents of Woodbury were preparing themselves to head out towards the prison. Jose stopped between Martinez, Shumpert and Allen as the Governor took a few more steps forward and stopped in front of his militia.

"Remember, they killed eight men back there!" He declared loudly, making sure that Jose, Martinez, Shumpert, Allen, Karen, Cory, Jason, Rowan, simply everyone from his militia was going to hear everything he had to say to them, "Five here last time. They're no different from the biters. They're not gonna stop until they kill us all, taken everything we've worked so hard for. We're gonna end this once and for all."

"Governor." Tyreese's voice called out to him. The Governor turned his gaze towards the beanie wearing man who stood with his sister, "This ain't easy to say. You're gonna have to count us out. This isn't our fight. We'll fight against the biters, not other people. Now we'll stay here and defend the children. When you return, if you want us gone, no hard feelings."

The Governor stared at the siblings for a few seconds, before clenching his teeth. He turned his gaze away from them and walked over to one of his soldiers, taking his sniper rifle from him. He walked back to Tyreese and Sasha who were looking at him nervously, having no idea how the Governor was going to react to them not wanting to take part in this.

"Thank you." He said to them as he held the sniper rifle out to Tyreese who took it, attempting to not make it sound forced. He turned around to his people and declared, "Let's go!"

Courtney stared ahead at Andrea who was still sitting on the chair as she clutched her bleeding stomach, feeling how she was becoming weaker with each passing second.

"...Andrea." She spoke to her friend. Her voice was so weak, "When the Governor came here and dragged me across the room before he beat me up, I used this situation to drop some pliers on the floor behind you. If you can drag...if you can drag your right foot back, you...you can get them."

Andrea glanced behind her and saw that pliers were indeed laying under the chair. She started dragging her right foot backwards, feeling how the tip of her shoe was touching the pliers.

"You're close..." Courtney told her.

"I'm gonna get us both out of here.." Andrea said, feeling how she was close to getting her hands on those fliers, "We'll leave this place. Together. You're going to be fine."

"Together?..." Courtney shook her head, "...Andrea, we both know that I'm not going to make it."

"Don't say that." Andrea said, "We can still save you if I'll get those fliers fast."

"I want to believe this, Andrea,... but we need to face the facts..." Courtney said, but Andrea didn't respond to her words. She focused her entire attention on getting those fliers.

She was going to get them. She was going to do whatever it takes to save her friend who had her back since they got separated from their old group on the farm.

The Governor's militia had just arrived at the prison and each person that was a part of it had their weapons in ready. The Governor was sitting in the driver seat of the white truck as he was leading the convoy into the place where his enemies were living. They were going to kill them all, no matter what. He was going to make sure of that.

Jose and Martinez echanged a look with each other as they stood in front of the group on the trunk of the army truck before the latter pulled out a grenade launcher and aimed it at one of the watch towers. He fired his weapon at it and the watch tower exploded into pieces just a second later. At the same time Shumpert who stood on top of a Humvee started firing the 50, cal machine gun at the other watch tower, just in case if someone from Rick's group was there.

The convoy drove through the destroyed gate into the field. Shumpert removed his attention from the watch tower which turned out to be completely empty and shifted his focus towards the undead infesting the field. Most of the members of the Governor's militia came in his aid and started getting rid of the undead around them as Martinez aimed his grenade launcher at another watch tower and fired, which was followed by another watch tower exploading into pieces.

It was just a matter of several seconds before the field was completely cleared out from the undead. The Governor got himself out of the truck which was followed by his soldiers getting themselves out of their vehicles and joining him on the ground. They started marching towards the gate, walking closely behind a vehicle which drove right through the gate, bursting it open.

"Move!" The Governor declared as everyone rushed into the yard.

The group split up into two smaller groups. Martinez and Jose took their group towards the entrance to the cellblock which was locked with a gate doors while Shumpert's group walked forward, under the catwalk, checking if anyone was waiting for them there, but much to their suprise, there wasn't a single person there. Shumpert turned around to look at his leader and shook his head, informing them that there wasn't anyone there.

They quickly made their way back to the rest as Martinez's and Jose's group got the gate open. They started walking towards the main entrance to their cellblock, and much to everyone's suprise, it was slightly opened. Allen turned around and shared a nod with Martinez and Jose. He grabbed the handle of the doors and fully opened them, letting everyone into the cellblock.

Everyone entered the cellblock, and once again, there wasn't anyone in their sight. At least in the area they were going through right now. Jose took Jason, Cory, Karen and a few other people with him and went towards the area with the cells. All of them had their weapons aimed raised in their, in ready, but the cells were completely empty. The spanish young man turned to look at the Governor and shook his head.

The Governor gritted his teeth in anger as Jason came out of one of the cells with a Bible in his left hand. He looked around himself to see that it was the only thing that his group found in the cells, "It's the only thing we found in here. The rest of the cells are completely empty."

The Governor shook his head and he signalled his people to move out of this area. Everyone obeyed and followed him out of the cells which was followed by the sound of someone moving through the hallways. Everyone quickly moved towards the entrance to the hallways, thinking that it was the place where Rick's group had hidden.

"We split up." The Governor declared as he pointed at Martinez and Jose, "You two, bring a group, follow me." He then pointed at Cory, "And you take a group that way."

Martinez, Jose and Cory quickly made sure to split the group up in the two equal smallers groups before the one that was intended to go with the Governor approached their leader. The Governor, Martinez, Jose and Allen pulled out their flashlights and turned them on before heading into the hallways, making sure to keep their weapons raised in the air.

They moved through the hallways in the direction from which the sound came from for a few minutes, before another sound, this time of someone closing the doors rang through their ears. The Governor turned back and signalled his people to follow him. They started walking further into the hallways, but they didn't walk for long, though.

Geoff and Duncan exchanged a look with each other before removing the pins from their flash-bang grenades before throwing them in the hallway where the Governor's soldiers currently were. The party animal and the juvie quickly ran into another hallway and ran away from their opponents, fullfiling their parts of the plan, while the two grenades slided across the floor a second or two before exploading.

Most of the Governor's group started crying out in panic, which was followed by the prison alarm ringing and the Governor quickly noticed that a lot of his people were starting to panic, "On the ground! On the ground!"

The problems didn't stop there. Everyone heard snarling and grunting coming from the other side of the hallway and saw the undead which were let in there by Daryl and Carol heading towards them. The undead were quickly taken care of, but most of the group didn't want to risk anymore and quickly started fleeing towards the exit from the hallways.

The Governor gritted his teeth when he saw how his people were starting to flee from the hallways, but eventually followed them, along with Martinez, Jose and Allen who were the only ones that didn't panic and stayed with him, waiting for his further orders. The group made their way outside, and was instantly met by someone starting to fire at them.

"Get the hell out of here!" Glenn cried out as he and Harold rose up from their crouching position and opened fire at the Governor's militia from their spot. Both of them were wearing full riot gear armor.

"Leave us the hell alone!" Heather cried out from her position on the catwalk right after as she leaned out of her cover along with Maggie, Alejandro, Oscar, Gwen and Trent. All five of them were wearing riot gear armor, just like Glenn and Harold. The five of them started to fire at the Governor's soldiers from the catwalk.

Izzy and Eva exchanged a look with each other when they heard how their group started firing at the Governor's group. It was time for them to make their move. They leaned out of their covers behind the pillars which were holding the catwalk and quickly opened fire at the Governor's group. It was quickly followed by Chris and Chef standing up from their laying position on the other side of the yard where they hid right after the Governor's group entered the cellblock and opened fire.

The sound of a gunfight could be heard coming from the prison and Carl, Hershel, Dr. Stevens, Beth, DJ, Noah, Bridgette, Cody, Ezekiel and Leshawna who were hiding in the forest could only listen to what was happening in their home, hoping that no one from their group was going to be harmed.

Carl looked firmly at the prison, declaring, "I should be there."

The Governor's group was completely pinned down by Rick's group. They were being fired at from every side. The residents of Woodbury had no other option but to flee back into the field where they left their vehicles. Shumpert and Jose made sure to cover everyone before following their into the field. Everyone quickly started getting themselves into the vehicles as Allen jumped on top of the Humvee.

"Hit it, hit it, hit it!" Martinez yelled out to Allen who was trying to fire back at Rick's group with the 50. cal.

"I can't!" Allen shouted as the Governor, Shumpert and Jose made their way to them, "It's jammed."

The Governor heard the sound of a vehicle starting up and quickly turned to the source of it, seeing that his people were starting to take off, "...Hey!"

"They're not helping anyway." Martinez stated.

"We'll take care of it later, Philip! Come on!" Jose told him before he and Martinez took the Governor to the white truck and got themselves into it before taking off, following their fleeing people.

"We did it?" Gwen asked a few seconds after the Governor's miltia fleed from the prison.

Trent smiled, removing his helmet, "It appears so, Gwen."

"Come on down!" Glenn called out to the people on the catwalk, as Izzy, Eva, Chef and Chris approached him and Harold from their positions.

One person from the Governor's militia, a young man with a beanie over his head split up from the rest of his group. He was running through the forest when he came across the rest of Rick's group. Carl, Noah, Hershel and Ezekiel quickly aimed their pistols at him, causing for the young man to stop running.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa." He said to them, holding out his hand, "Don't shoot."

Hershel kept his pistol aimed at the young, "Drop the weapon, son."

"Sure." The young man nodded, beginning to lower his shotgun, "Tak..."

He never got to finish this sentence as Carl pulled the trigger of his pistol and shot him in the head. The young's man now lifeless corpse collapsed on the ground as Carl turned to around to look at his group and saw everyone staring at him in shock. Even normally stoic Noah was staring at him in complete shock.

Andrea continued to try to reach the pliers under her seat for several minutes now and was really close to acheving her task at this point. She turned around to glance at Courtney for a second and her eyes snappen open by how bloody and and pale her friend was.

"Courtney?" She called out to her, hoping that the CIT will answer before dragging her feet backwards, once again, and finally succeeding. The pliers were not in front of her, now she had to find a way how to pick them up.

"...Once you'll make back to the prison..." Courtney began. Her voice was even weaker than before, "Tell Duncan when you'll see him... that I love him... that he should never give up... no matter how bad the things are going to get... that he should keep going..."

"You'll tell him that yourself." Andrea quickly said, wanting to believe that herself.

"...At least you are able to remain optimistic... I already accepted the fact that I'm dying..." Courtney said, "Why... Why did we went back here... Back when we had a chance to stay in the prison with our old group..."

"We wanted to save everyone." Andrea said, "We wanted to prevent our groups from going to war with each other... I can't believe that I thought that the Governor could be reasoned with..."

Courtney was silent for several seconds before saying, "...Andrea..."

"...Yes." Andrea said after a moment of remaining silent.

Courtney let out a deep breath, trying to bring herself to say it, "...Thank you... for being such a good friend... I wish I could say those words to Bridgette... She always was friendly to me, even after I was such a bitch to everyone during Total Drama Action, long before all of this started... I wish I could tell them how much I regret it..."

Those were the last words that the left Courtney's mouth before she closed her eyes, for the last time, and never opened them again.

"Courtney?" Andrea called out to her friend. She repeated herself a few seconds later, this time her tone was so shaky when "Courtney!"

She kept repeating those words but didn't receive a single answer from Courtney.

Her friend was dead...

She could feel tears forming in her eyes but she stopped them from going down her cheeks. She knew that it was no time to mourn. She'll mourn her fallen friend once she'll get out of here. She kicked off her shoes and started trying to pick the pliers up with her toes.

Rick, Chef, Chris, Daryl, Carol, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, Oscar, Duncan, Geoff, Trent, Eva, Gwen, Izzy, Alejandro, Heather and Harold stood together in the destroyed main gate of the prison and watched the field from there. The Governor's group was nowhere to be seen. The only thing that was remained from the Governor's attack was a Humvee with jammed 50. cal which was left behind by the Governor's group.

"We did it." Rick declared, "We drove them out."

"We should go after them." Michonne stated.

Chef nodded, "I agree. We can't let them give a chance to regroup."

"It is finished." Maggie stated, "Didn't you see them hightail it out of here?"

"They can always return, Maggie." Gwen pointed out, "We probably won't be as ready we were today once they'll return because this time we were excepting them to come. The next time can be completely by suprise."

"Like that one time when they killed Axel." Oscar added.

Gwen nodded, "Yes."

"He's not gonna stop." Glenn stated.

"We can't let that bastard return here." Eva agreed.

Carol nodded in agreement, "They're right. We can't keep living like this."

"Don't forget that Courtney and Andrea can still be in Woodbury if they were caught escaping." Duncan pointed out, "We need to go there and make sure."

"So we take the fight back to Woodbury?" Maggie asked her, "We barely made it back last time."

"I don't care." Daryl told her.

"This time we'll take more people with us." Alejandro added.

"You can count me in if we'll end up coming." Harold volunteered to come this time, as he turned his gaze towards Rick, "Not doing anything about them is too risky."

"They won't see us coming." Izzy added her part as well, already ready to head out to Woodbury.

Rick eyed his group, before declaring, "Let's check on the others."

Everyone nodded. They walked back into the cellblock and waited a few minutes before Hershel, Beth, Carl, Dr. Stevens, Leshawna, DJ, Noah, Ezekiel, Bridgette and Cody walked in. Rick went over to Beth who was carrying his daughter and hugged Judith before hugging Carl, Geoff ran over to Bridgette and kissed her, and Duncan went over to DJ and the two friends shared a quick fist bump.

"Dad, I'm coming to Woodbury." Carl declared to his dad.

Rick sighed, "Carl."

"Dad, I did my job out there. Just like all of you. Took out one of the Governor's soldiers." Carl explained.

"One of his soldiers?" Hershel said as Rick's eyes widened in shock, "A kid running away? He stumbled across us."

Carl looked up at Hershel, "No, he drew on us."

"I'm sorry you had to do that." Rick said to his son, worringly.

"It's what I was there for. I'm going with you." Carl said, firmly, before walking away from his father and Hershel.

Hershel watched the young Grimes leave for a few seconds before saying, "That kid was scared. He was handing his gun over. I was there. He didn't have to shoot. He had every reason not to. You can ask every other person that was with me, they'll say the same thing."

The Governor, Martinez, Jose, Shumpert and Allen finally reached the rest of their people who were driving towards Woodbury. Martinez started sounding the horn as the Governor opened the window of the passenger seat and started yelling out to his soldiers, "Pull over! I want this truck over."

Martinez drove to the front of the convoy and turned it to the right, blocking every other car from driving further and making the people inside of them to come out. He, the Governor, Jose, Shumpert and Allen came out of their truck as the rest of their group started to gather around them.

"What the hell are you doing?" The Governor shouted to his people, angrily, after he came out of his truc, "We need to dig in."

"It's not worth it!" A black skinned man yelled in response.

"That was a slaughter!" Rowan cried out, walking towards her leader.

"You bunch of pussies!" Martinez yelled at them, "I told you we should have handled this shit ourselves."

The black skinned man crossed his arms, "We're done fighting for a hole with those psychopaths living in it. They can keep it."

"You've seen what they've done, attacked us! They killed my boy! We're going back!" Allen shouted, pointing in the direction of prison.

"We are not soldiers. You want us to kill biters, of course. But this is crazy." Karen argued.

The Governor gritted his teeth and stared coldly at his soldiers as he continued to listen to his people argue, tightening his grip around the trigger of his AUG. It was when something that no one, even his most loyal soldiers excepted to happen happened. He raised his AUG and aimed it at the black skinned man, before pulling the trigger. The bullet hit the man right in the head and his lifeless body collapsed on the ground. Everyone in his militia started screaming in panic as their own leader didn't stop on this man and started to gun them down.

Jose, Martinez and Shumpert all stepped backwards and watched in disbelief what was happening in front of them right now. They exchanged schocked expressions with each other as the Governor gunned continued to gun down his soldiers as if it was nothing. Rowan, Jason and Cory were just one of the many people that lost their life in front of the three men who just watched it happen, completely spechless.

One of the few surviving members of the militia ran into the grassy field next to the road, fleeing away from the massacre, but unfortunely none of them managed to get away from the Governor and most of them ended up laying on the grassy ground, dead. Only one of them was lucky enough to survive. Karen hid herself under the body of one of the Governor's victims, hoping that he won't notice that she was still alive, praying for it.

She held her breath when she heard how the Governor approached her shelter. He pulled out his pistol and started shooting down each body on the field in the head, making sure that all of these people were dead. She closed her eyes, only to open them a few seconds later when a click came from the Governor's pistol, meaning only one thing. That it ran out of the ammo. She could feel a massive wave of relief overcoming her body.

The Governor walked away from her and made his way back to the road, reloading his pistol. He turned his gaze towards the fourth remaining member of his militia. Allen aimed his AK at the Governor when his cold and blank gaze met his fearful one. His hands were shaking as he kept his weapon aimed at the Governor, wanting to bring himself to pull the trigger, but he couldn't as fear completely overcame his entire body.

The Governor looked at Allen in confusion, wondering why the bearded man didn't try to shot him, yet, before aiming his pistol at Allen and ending his life with a single shot to his head.

He turned his gaze away from Allen's lifeless corpse before making his way towards the truck. He got himself into the vehicle and started it up before glancing through the opened the passenger seat to see Martinez, Jose and Shumpert who were still spechless about what just happened. The three men stared at him, unsure if they should get in or not. He nodded his head at them, telling them to come in.

The three men exchanged a look with each other before getting into the vehicle. Shumpert hopped into the passenger seat next to the Governor, as Jose and Martinez climbed into the trunk of the pickup and slapped their hands against the vehicle a few times. The Governor started up the vehicle and drove off along with the remaining members of his militia, away from the bodies of the people he had just murdered in cold blood.

Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Chef, Chris, Duncan, Eva, Alejandro, Harold, Izzy and Geoff were preparing themselves to head out to Woodbury to finish this off once and for all. Duncan and Daryl already started up their motorcycles and were ready to head out, Chef and Chris were waiting in their truck, Alejandro, Harold, Izzy and Geoff already prepared everything and were waiting inside of the car from the gas station as Michonne packed a bag into another vehicle, readying herself to head to Woodbury.

Rick rubbed his chin when he saw his son sitting a few meters away from them. He started walking towards them, making sure to give Michonne his M4A1. He came over to his son and knelt down in front of him.

"Hershel told me about the boy you shot." He began, "DJ and Bridgette confirmed it."

"He had a gun." Carl explained.

"Hmm." Rick nodded, "Was he handing it over?"

"He had just attacked us." Carl pointed out.

"Yeah. Yes, he had." Rick nodded, once again, "Was he handing it over?"

"I couldn't take the chance." Carl stated, "I didn't kill the walker that killed Dale. Look what happened."

"Son, that is not the same thing." Rick pointed out.

"You didn't kill Andrew and he came back and killed Mom, T-Dog and Sierra." Carl pointed out in return, "You were in a room with the Governor and you let him go. And then he killed Merle. I did what I had to do. Now go. So he doesn't kill any more of us."

He stood up and walked away from his dad who let out a sigh and stood up from his kneeling position. He walked over to his group and saw Glenn, Maggie, Gwen, Heather, Trent and Oscar.

"Rick, we're staying." Glenn declared, referring to himself, Maggie, Gwen, Heather, Trent and Oscar, "We don't know where the Governor is. If he comes back, we'll hold him off."

Rick nodded his head at them, "I appreciate you staying."

Trent nodded in return, "No problem."

"Make sure that he'll get what he deserves if he already is in Woodbury." Gwen added.

Rick gave them another nod before getting himself into the car along with Michonne and Eva. Their group was ready to head out. Carol, Ezekiel, Noah and DJ made sure to take care of the small group of the undead which gathered in front of the main gate before Cody and Beth opened the gate for their group.

Duncan and Daryl took the lead of the group of people that decided to head out to Woodbury, and headed out, beginning to drive towards their destination, followed by the rest.

Andrea let out one deep nervous breath after another as she did her best to catch the pliers with her toes, sending Courtney's lifeless body quick glances. She finally managed to pick the pliers up with her toes and was starting to move them towards the thing keeping her to the chair but unfortunely the pliers fell out of her grasp and landed on the floor.

After a few failed attempts, she managed to pick the pliers up again, and this time she was more careful than the last time as she started moving them towards her hand. She let out a short sight of relief as she placed the pliers in her hand, but this relief was short lived when saw glanced at Courtney's body.

She saw that the CIT's lips were starting to move which meant only one thing. The lawyer quickly started to work on freeing herself from the chair as Courtney opened her eyes, quick snarls and grunts leaving her mouth. Andrea managed to free her right hand and quickly started to work on freeing the other one as Courtney rose up from the floor and started approaching her.

She managed to free her other hand just in time, but unfortunely, when she turned her gaze towards Courtney, the CIT lunged for her as Andrea let out a scream as she started defending herself from her zombified friend.

The group that left for Woodbury stopped in the middle of the road when the convoy which they recognized to be the Governor's happened to be standing in front of them. They all got themselves out of their vehicles and started walking along the road, with their weapons in ready. They spotted a few lifeless bodies of the Governor's soldiers on the road, with the other members of his militia that had turned into the walkers feasting on them.

"What the hell happened here?" Duncan voiced his thoughts, eyeing his surroundings in confusion.

"I think I'm starting to know." Chris shook his head, "And I have to tell you, I don't like the thoughts that are going through my head right now."

Izzy shook her head when the realization appeared in her mind, "He killed his own people."

"Dudes, what kind of monster could have done this?" Geoff asked, staring at the bodies in front of him in shock.

Chef shook his head and scoffed, "The worst kind."

"Holy shit." Eva's eyes widened a bit when she spotted the familiar person laying on the road. He ran over to that person to make sure that she was seeing correctly. It was one of the members of her old group, "Geoff. It's Allen."

Everyone's attention was turned towards the army truck when someone banged their hand against the window. They all aimed their weapons at the person which turned out to be terrified Karen. Rick turned to look at Alejandro and nodded his head at him. Alejandro understood what Rick wanted him to do and opened the doors, letting Karen out of the army truck.

The sun was gone from the horizon and darkend sky of the night engulfed everything when the group with the addition of Karen who explained everything that happened on the road to them arrived at Woodbury. They carefully sneaked their way towards the main gate but were spotted by the guards who started firing at them. The group quickly hid themselves behind the abandoned cars the hid behind the last time when they came here to save Glenn, Gwen, Noah and Maggie and returned fire.

The two groups stopped exchanging bullets between themselves after several seconds when one person from Rick's group came out of their cover.

"Tyreese! Sasha!" Geoff yelled out as he stood up from his cover, with his hands raised in the air. He didn't recall seeing them among the bodies of the Governor militia. Tyreese and his people were reasonable people. He was sure that he could reason with them in some way, "It's me Geoff! Don't shoot!"

"Geoff?" Tyreese's voice called out to him from the other side of the wall.

"Yes. I'm not here alone! Eva is with me!" Geoff shouted to Tyreese and Sasha before glancing down at Karen who stood up shorty after and joined his side, "So is your friend Karen!"

"Karen!" Tyreese shouted to the woman standing next to Geoff, "Why are you with them? Where's the Governor?"

"He fired on everyone. He killed them all." Karen explained, "These people here, they saved me!"

"We're coming out!" Rick shouted to Tyreese and Sasha as he came out of his cover, joining Geoff and Karen.

He was followed by Eva, Michonne, Daryl, Chef, Chris, Duncan, Izzy, Harold and Alejandro who all came out of their covers behind the cars and started walking towards the fence of Woodbury, with their hands raised in the air. Most them were quite hesitant about it, though and kept their fingers on the triggers of their weapons.

They walked over to the main gate which was opened Tyreese and Sasha, the former asking them, "What are you doing here?"

"We were coming to finish this until we saw what the Governor did." Rick explained, lowering his hands.

"He ... he killed them?" Tyreese asked, disbelief evident in his voice to which Rick's group nodded in confirmation.

"When Dr. Stevens made it to the prison." Duncan began as Tyreese and Sasha looked at the juvie, "She told us that she was breaking out with Courtney and some guy named Terry. They split up when Courtney and Terry went to get Andrea. None of them made it back to the prison. We're thinking that they might still be there."

Tyreese and Sasha exchanged a look with each other before Rick and his group into Woodbury. The two siblings followed Rick and his group into the building where the Governor interrogated Maggie, Gwen, Glenn and Noah after Merle brought them here.

Rick walked in the front of the group with his Python in ready, "This is where he had Glenn, Noah, Gwen and Maggie."

"The Governor held people here?" Tyreese wanted to be sure if he didn't misheard it.

"He did more than hold them." Chris explained, holding his rifle in ready as the doors with blood leaking out from the other side appeared in their view.

Izzy looked at Rick, "Will you open it?"

Rick nodded and quickly opened the doors. The first thing that they group saw was Terry's corpse. They entered the room and saw Andrea who was sitting and leaning against the wall.

"Andrea." Michonne dropped her katana on the floor and rushed over to her friends side. She was followed by the rest of the group, "You're burning up."

Andrea sighed as she moved her clothes away from her neck, revealing a nasty bite to her group, "We tried to stop them..."

"Andrea." Duncan called out to Andrea, as the bitten woman turned to look at the juvie. He sounded completely nervous and shaky at the thoughts going through his mind, "Where's Courtney?"

Andrea let out a saddened sigh as she turned her gaze towards the other side of the room. Duncan followed her gaze and spotted Courtney's unmoving body.

"...No." Duncan quietly said as he moved over to Courtney's lifeless body, falling on his knees right next to it. He placed his head on Courtney's chest, right in the chest area, hoping to heart a beat, but heard none. He rised his head and looked at her head. There was a huge cut in in the CIT's head. His mind was still trying to process it but Courtney was dead. His love was gone, and there was nothing he could do to change it, "No, no, no..."

He kept repeating those words over and over again for a few seconds before he broke into tears which started spilling down his cheeks, not caring that the others were seeing him cry. He shook his head. He and Courtney finally worked things out with each other after their breakup before all of this started, he thought that he finally got her back, but now she was gone, for good.

"She wanted me to tell you something." Andrea said as Duncan didn't look at her. He kept staring at Courtney's body, "She wanted me to tell you that she loves you, and that you should never give up. That you should keep going, no matter how bad things will get."

Duncan responded with a silent nod of his head, knowing that it was exactly what he was going to do. He was going to keep going. He was going to honor Courtney's last massage to him. He was going to make sure of that.

Daryl, Geoff and Harold exchanged a look with each other, before approaching their friend, intending to comfort him, at least little a bit, even though they were aware that there was nothing they could to make Duncan feel better right now.

"What happened?" Alejandro asked Andrea, turning his gaze away from Duncan and Courtney's body, not wanting to see the depressing scene in front of him.

"Terry tried to break us out." Andrea explained, sending Terry's lifeless body a quick glance, "They caught him and Courtney when they were trying to find a way how to take me out of this room. The Governor beat her up and gave her Jose's knife, asking her to attack him when she did, Jose stepped in between them, took the knife from her, and stabbed her in the stomach with it."

Alejandro sighed as he leaned against the wall, burrying his hands in his face. He shook his head. The Jose he knew before all of this was far away from perfect, but he wasn't whatever he was now.

"Don't worry, dude." Geoff placed his hand on Duncan's shoulder to comfort his friend about the loss of his loved one, at least a bit. He knew that he would have done the same to him if Bridgette died, "We'll find them. We'll find the people who did this and make sure that they will get what they deserve. I promise."

"Rick." Andrea called out to Rick who was kneeling down in front of her with Chef and Chris by his sides, "Judith, Carl, the rest of them..."

"Us." Rick corrected her, "The rest of us."

"Are they alive?" Andrea wanted to know. She wanted to be sure before she'll die. She wanted to know if all of her friends were alive.

Rick nodded in confirmation, "Yeah, they're alive."

Andrea turned her gaze towards Michonne who was starting to sob over the loss of her two friends, "It's good you found them. No one can make it alone now. I just didn't want anyone to die." Michonne gave her a tearful nod as Andrea let out a deep breath, "...I can do it myself."

"No." Michonne shook her head.

"I have to. While I still can. Please? I know how the safety works." Andrea told her group, using the words Rick said to her back when they met in Atlanta all those months ago.

Rick gave her a saddened nod of his head before grabbing his Python and handing it to her. Andrea glanced down at the Python in her hand and started thinking about the family and friends she'll again see soon. Amy, Dale, Tyler, Shane and Courtney. She was going to see all of them again.

"Well, I'm not going anywhere." Michonne told her friend, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Andrea glanced around herself, exchanging one last look with each member of her group that came here before saying, "...I tried."

"Yeah." Rick nodded, "You did. You did."

"Rest in Peace, soldier." Chef said his last words to Andrea, giving her a quick salute, "It was a pleasure serving with you. May you find your eternal rest."

Andrea just gave Chef one last bittersweet smile before Rick, Chef, Chris, Izzy, Eva, and Alejandro came out of the room, leaving Michonne with Andrea. Duncan remained in the room too, sobbing over the body of his girlfriend as Harold, Geoff and Daryl remained by his side to comfort him.

Daryl knelt down next to Duncan, causing him to look at him. The Dixon slowly wrapped his arms around Duncan, giving him a comforting hug and after Duncan returned it a moment later. The juvie was there for Daryl when he lost his brother, and now he was going to be there for his friend when his beloved one died.

Rick, Chef, Chris, Izzy, Eva, Alejandro, Tyreese, Sasha and Karen waited for everyone in the hallway in front of the room, waiting for the others.

They all glanced down, sadly when a shot rang inside of the room.

In the break of dawn, the group made it back to their home with a bus filled with people from Woodbury following them. Leshawna and Cody let their group into the yard along with the bus, while the rest of their group watched the bus in confusion. Everyone started getting themselves out of their vehicles as their group approached them, asking them what happened in Woodbury.

Geoff had a saddened look on his face when he explained to Bridgette, Carol and DJ everything that happened since they left the prison and that included what happened to Andrea and Courtney. Bridgette placed her hand over her mouth, feeling how tears started forming in her eyes at the news of what happened to Courtney. She rushed over to Duncan and gave him a comforting hug as DJ let out a saddened sigh, his gaze on the floor.

Heather walked over to Alejandro who explained to her everything that happened in Woodbury and what his brother has done to Courtney. Heather wrapped her hands around him and gave him a comforting hug, telling him that he was not responsible for what his brother did.

Noah, Oscar, Gwen and Trent approached Rick and saw four corpses wrapped in the bags in the trunk of the vehicle. Milton's and Terry's bodies were taken to the prison too. The group didn't knew them very well, but in the end they tried to help their group against the Governor, and for that, they deserved a proper burial.

Carl approached his father and asked him, "What is this?"

"They're gonna join us." Rick said as he turned his gaze towards the bus to see Tyreese, Sasha, Karen helping the people from Woodbury that came here with them. Dr. Stevens rushed over to the people she knew from her old group and started helping them too.

Rick looked up at the catwalk and saw that his wife was nowhere to be seen.

He nodded his head to himself, now sure that he made the right decision.

The next day, the group was gathered in front of the graveyard, paying their respects to Andrea, Courtney, Milton and Terry. Hershel stood in the front of the group, recitating some parts from his Bible. Alejandro stood a few meters away from them, with Heather standing next to him. He was invited by his group, no, by his family, to stand with them, but he couldn't bring himself to do it because of the guilt he felt after he learned that his brother was one of the people responsible for it.

Many of the people from his group told him that he wasn't responsible for his brother, and despise even Duncan himself telling him that what wasn't blaming him for what his brother did to Courtney, Alejandro simply couldn't bring himself to stand there with them. Heather was standing with him because she didn't want him to stand by himself.

The group started parting ways after several minutes and it was just a matter of time before Duncan was the only one standing in front of the graves. His gaze was set on Courtney's grave. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the thing that he had prepared yesterday for this funeral.

It was an exact replica of the skull he had given her back when she was eliminated in the first season of Total Drama. He spend a lot of time doing it, but he knew all the hard work he had put into it was worth it. He wished that it was the original one, but he unfortunely had no idea where it was.

He let out a saddened sigh as he knelt down and placed the skull on Courtney's grave, saying his final goodbye to his beloved one. Her final message to him rang through his mind. He was going to keep going. He was going to keep living. He was going to keep fighting for as long as he could. No matter how bad the things were going to get in the future.

It was how he was going to honor Courtney.

He let out another saddened sigh before standing up from his kneeling position. He turned away from the graves and saw Daryl, Carol, Geoff, DJ, Bridgette, Gwen, Trent, Leshawna and Harold waiting for him a few meters away from him. He started walking towards them, and after that, the group of ten headed towards the yard.

It's really hard for me to believe that it's been a year since I posted the first chapter...

We're finally done with season 3! Only 8 more seasons left to go!

A question for you:

Who do you think is going to die from Total Drama in season 4?

Hope it wasn't that bad. See you in another chapter.
