Author's Note: This chapter is dedicated to the guest who reviewed chapter 29 on March 23rd. I'm not sure what you meant when I didn't share the MVP... I went over each MVP for each match after the match. If you meant from Uraraka and Ojiro's, they were both the MVP. Izuku's should be in the chapter before.

Chapter 37: Fight For Their Lives

"Brat," William yelled in panic. "Transform now!"

Izuku instantly let the transformation wash over him, and then sighed in relief. That would have been bad.

"Hey, squirt, are you okay," Spring asked.

"Fine," Izuku said, still reeling. "But that was close."

Izuku stood up and looked around. He was in an abandoned city, and the wind and rain were so strong that he could feel the pressure trying to push him back.

Visibility was horrible, and the wind was starting to give him a headache.

"We need to get out of here," Izuku said.

Izuku took a quick stock of his surroundings, and started started to head in the direction of the entrance.

Kaminari was panicking. He, Yaoyorozu, and Mina were transported to the Mountain Zone and he had no idea where Midori and Toshi were.

It's not that he didn't trust Yaoyorozu or Minal...It was just that Midori and Toshi were so smart and they had this presence around them. It was like they always knew what to do...

"Hey, Kaminari," Mina said with a shaky smile. "It's going to be okay!"

Kaminari gave he a weak smile, but he secretly wished that Midori and Toshi were there.

Hitoshi floated suspended in the water. His grip on Kirishima was getting weaker.

"Zuku," he thought, and his grip slipped again.

Suddenly he saw a dark shadow below him.

"Sorry, Zuku," he thought.

Memories started to play through his mind as the shadow approached. Then, his mind landed on the first time he meet his new family.

"I can't die here," he thought, fiercely.

The shadow was now on him, and Hitoshi kicked it as hard as he could. He heard a cry of pain. The violet haired teen grinned slightly, but he winced in pain as his leg burned from the new laceration.

Hitoshi forced himself to swim up to the surface.

"Toshi," he heard Tsu yell in relief, and then he was jerked into the air.

He wanted to cry out in pain, but he forced himself to remain quiet in case he startled the green haired girl into dropping him and Kirishima back into the lake.

"Toshi," Tsu scolded. "What do you think you were doing?!"

"No time," the violet haired boy snapped at her. "Kirishima needs CPR!"

Tsu drew back like she was slapped and then turned to look at the red haired teen. She had been so worried for Hitoshi that she didn't realize the other teen's condition at first.

Tsu nodded and quickly went to help her classmate. Hitoshi, meanwhile, practically collapsed on the floor. He took off his jacket and tied it as tightly as he could around the wound on his back. He then ripped his pant legs and tied it around his left.

That was going to have to do for now. Hopefully Yaoyorozu was still at the entrance. That or the pros arrive soon.

"You're injured," Tsu gasped once Kirishima started to cough up water.

"I'll be fine," Hitoshi said, leaving no room for questions. "We need to get to shore. It's too dangerous here."

"H-How are we going to do that, Hitobro," Kirishima asked as he weakly sat up, still occasionally couging. "And, thanks for saving my life."

Hitoshi smiled at the always sunny teen.

"It was no trouble," the violet haired teen said, and Tsu nodded in agreement. "And, I have a plan...or at least a potential one..."

"You do, kero," Tsu asked in surprise.

"Yeah," Toshi said as he struggled to stand.

He nearly fell, but Tsu caught him.

"Thanks," he said, and winced in pain when he finally got steady on his injured leg.

"No problem, kero," the frog quirked girl said as she watched him in concern.

"Anyways, I need to check to see what type of materials we have here," the violet eyed teen said as he walked, unsteadily into the cabin. "But, I'm warning you now, this is dangerous and stupid. The only reason I'm even considering this is because we don't have any other choice."

Both of their faces hardened and they nodded.

"Okay, now I'm going to teach you how to make a homemade bomb," Hitoshi said with a sardonic grin.

Bakugou immediately got up when he landed and started cursing at the warp gate user.

"Dang it," the explosive blonde yelled. "I almost had him!"

"And look at how well that turned out for us," a female voice asked sarcastically.

Bakugou spun around, ready to blow the person sky high, when he recognized the girl as the goth extra.

"Tch," he tsked. "Not my fault. Warp gate was gonna do it anyways."

Jiro only rolled her eyes and snorted in disbelief.

"Whatever," she said. "We need to get back to the class."

Jiro then slammed her earjacks into the ground to check their surrounding. She paled when she heard that they were surrounded.

"Bakugou," she whispered.

"What is it, earlobes," he asked with a growl.

"We're surrounded," she whispered, and the red eyed teen grinned dangerously. "Then lets show them why they shouldn't have screwed with UA!"

Kaminari cursed as him and his classmates were surrounded. He really wished that his support item was approved.

"Yaoyorozu," Kaminari said, seriously. "I can't direct my quirk. I need you to make me a long wire or a conductive whip. Just something I can use to direct it with."

Yaoyorozu nodded seriously and quickly made him a long copper whip.

"Thanks," Kaminari said sighing in relief as he grabbed it.

At least now he wouldn't hurt his classmates. He's glad he took Izuku and Hitoshi's advice to heart about practicing with a weapon.

It didn't take tong for the villains to start attacking. Kaminari quickly charged his whip with a painful, yet non lethal voltage and started to swing his whip around. He targeted the villains who were ganging up on his classmates and tripped anyone who got to close to them.

However, soon he realized that no matter how weak these guys were, they out numbered them.

"Hey guys," Kaminari said getting the girls' attention. "We need a plan! There's too many of them!"

Yaoyorozu bit her lip and said, "Do you remember the battle trials?"

Both of them nodded, wondering where she was going with this.

"What if we combined both of your teams plans," the creation quirk user asked. "I can make containers for you Mina, and then Kaminari can use him whip like he did with the wire."

Mina smiled and cheered, "We can do this! Just distract them while I work my magic!"

Kaminari smirked as he refocused on taking out as many villains as he could while Mina worked to set up their plan. He'd prove that he could stand by his two friends. That, maybe in the future, he could protect them.

Todoroki calmly walked through the flames as he froze all the enemies he came across solid; besides their nose and mouths.

At least he knew that they wouldn't get frostbite and die. The fire would insure that.

"Do they really think these D-rank villains will be enough to beat Allmight," Todoroki scoffed. "No, they must be counting on that bird monster..."

Todoroki clenched his fists. He had enough to deal with already. The dual haired teen sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He needed to get back to the enterance. He could think about that later...

Hitoshi held his breath as they pored the cleaning supplies together. This was so stupid and William was going to chew him out later.

"Are you sure this will work, kero," Tsu asked worriedly as she watched him work.

"Yeah," the violet eyed teen said.

"Hey, Hitobro," Kirishima called from where he was watching the villains. "They look like they're about to attack!"

"I'm almost done," Hitoshi said as he quickly closed the lid. "Tsu, are you sure you can carry us a good distance away?"

"I'm sure, kero," the frog quirked girl said with determined eyes. "My tongue is really strong, and my quirk is perfect for the water."

Hitoshi blew out a worried breath.

"Alright then," the injured teen said. "Get ready to drag me to shore."

Hitoshi then walked to the edge of the boat. There, multiple villain were watching them.

"Hey," Hitoshi shouted. "Leave us alone!"

All—or at least most—of the villains laughed and jeered at his declaration. Perfect. The only nerve wracking part was he couldn't have gotten all of them; especially the ones that were underwater somewhere.

"Okay, then," Hitoshi said as he watched their blank looks. "Ignore the bucket I throw in the lake, and let my two classmates pass. If anyone tries to stop them, hold them off!"

Hitoshi crossed his fingers and motioned for Tsu to get to shore as quickly as possible. She'd pick Kirishima up while he planted the bomb, and then pick him up before it exploded.

Tsu nodded and quickly jumped off the boat. She swam as far as she could away, but still close enough where she could grab the red haired teen. Hitoshi watched the lake, and tensed when he saw a couple shadows start to move toward her.

"Kirishima," Hitoshi said. "Get ready."

The red headed boy nodded seriously.

Right as Kirishima was picked up, Hitoshi threw the bomb into the water as far as he could.

He counted down with worry as he waited for his pick up. Luckily, Tsu picked him up right before the bomb went off.

The force was so strong that they were slammed into the shore.

"Are you both okay," Hitoshi asked with a pained groan.

"I'm okay, kero," Tsu said.

"I'm okay, Hitobro," Kirishima said as he helped Tsu to her feet. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Hitoshi said as he stood up with a groan, pain searing through his veins.

"What do we do now," Tsu asked.

"We need to get to the entrance," Hitoshi said.

"Then let's go," Kirishima said with a bright, confident smile.

Kaminari bit his lip as he continued to try to trip as many of the villains as he could.

His arms were starting to go numb, and he felt like he was getting close to his limit. At least he hasn't been forced to use his Indiscriminate Shock. That would have fried his brain and he'd be useless.

"Mina, are you ready," he asked, his voice noticeably strained.

"Yeah," she said with a small pant. "Get ready to zap them!"

Mina handed off the acid bombs to Yaoyorozu who took aim and soaked the villains while creating a thin puddle of acid near their feet. Not waiting for the plan to be noticed, Kaminari swung his whip through the puddle and created a high enough voltage to knock the villains out.

They waited with baited breaths, and then cheered. They won!
