STAG Party

The day had passed. Vince Shane, the leader of the Saints took off to go grab some vehicles and deliver them to Donnie, an auto mechanic with whom he had crossed paths in the past. As a special deal that Vince made with him, he would go and take some of the Syndicate's vehicles. With the Deckers being gone, he had taken care of their cars first before taken the cars of the Morningstar's remnants, as well as the Luchadores' trucks. It wasn't easy taking other cars or other vehicles for people in Steelport as the moment he stole them, he was instantly a marked man.

He was dressed in his gray jacket with purple shirt and gray slacks, as well as dress shoes and sunglasses.

Today, he only went and stole some of the Luchadores' trucks, as it was getting close to shifting his focus on Killbane before taking down Loren. The Syndicate has been weakened a bit, but with a paramilitary unit on the Saints with their advanced technology, it made things more difficult in the process.

Vince drove around in his purple Hammerhead, as he modified it with an advanced engine and raised it a bit. He may have loved his Phoenix and Bootlegger, but this was one other muscle car he needed for his collection. He drove around the southern parts of Sunset Park, over right by where the Rim Jobs was, near the docks. A STAG N-Forcer was seen rolling by them. It reminded him that he needed to make a call. Once he pulled over in of the Joe Cola sign near the chain-link fence, he got out his phone and looked at his phone and saw Shaundi's name. He went ahead and called her.

The call went through, only to hear a male voice say, "Hello."

"Johnny? Why are you answering Shaundi's phone?" Vince said.

"Oh, because Shaundi's got her hands full with Birk right now," Johnny said.

"Hold up, what? Where's Pierce?" Vince said.

"He's playing chess with Oleg," Johnny said. "Yo, you got to come back soon before someone gets hurt. Birk's been trying so hard to get through to her, but she ain't havin' it."

"Oh no, not this shit again," Vince said. "Put Shaundi on, keep an eye on Josh."

"No sweat, playa," Johnny said. Vince smiled a bit because that gave him flashbacks to when he first joined the Saints nearly a decade prior.

"Boss, I thought you cleared everything up with that asshole last night." The moment that was said, Vince knew who he was talking to.

"Relax, Shaundi, this will be over soon," Vince said.

"I can't believe you said I shouldn't kill him," Shaundi said.

"Has he tried to touch you or anything like that?" Vince said.

"No, but…," Shaundi said.

"No, I said don't kill him, you got that?" Vince said.

Shaundi sighed in annoyance. "Fine. Anyway, listen, while you were out, Kinzie told Oleg and Pierce that STAG had watched us like a hawk overnight. They know we're back here."

"Well, that makes things a little better for us," Vince said. "I'm on my way back right now."

"Okay, see you in a bit," Shaundi said.

Vince started up the car again and headed back to the Saints HQ. It was time to throw down with STAG.

SAINTS HQ

In the living room area, Shaundi sat there on one end of the long couch with her .45 Shepherd in hand, pointing it directly at Birk. Johnny stood over with his AS3 Ultimax shotgun, while Oleg sat on the other end of the couch as played chess with Pierce on the coffee table, while Pierce sat in a chair. Pierce looked like he was winning, while Oleg was trying to figure out his next move.

Birk looked at Shaundi, still pointing her pistol at him. "Put the gun down, I won't run."

Shaundi scoffed a bit, with her gun not moving from her target. "Yeah, I'm good."

"I felt that the moment we met, that connection," Birk said.

"What?" Shaundi said with such disgust and disbelief in her tone of voice, as well as a glare rising around her eyes.

Birk inhaled deeply before exhaling as he moved his head towards Shaundi's direction. "Forbidden love." He said in an attempt to sound either romantic or sexy.

"Oh my God, can I just shoot this guy?" Shaundi said, looking towards Pierce and Oleg, and then turned to Johnny. "I can't take it much longer."

"Shaundi, play nice now." She looked up. The moment she heard Vince's voice, she knew that shooting the actor was not going to happen as she saw him walking down the stairs farthest from where everyone was.

"Johnny, how are things going?" Vince said.

"Shit's been good over here," Johnny said. "I'm just ready to fuck up STAG."

"So am I, man," Vince said, giving Johnny a fist-bump.

Vince looked towards Pierce and Oleg. "You got the stuff pierce?"

Pierce was about to get up to pick up something, but then, "Allow me, friend," Oleg said, as he stood from the couch, picked up large duffel bag that was filled with explosives and threw it onto the table with the chessboard, knocking all of the pieces down.

"You did that on purpose," Pierce said, while Oleg shrugged that remark off. It was clear that Pierce was winning and likely did that intentionally.

"All right, let's go STAG hunting," Vince said and turned towards Johnny. "Hey, Johnny…"

"On it, Boss," Johnny said. "I'm going up to the roof. I got a lot of gear that'll blow those motherfuckers away."

Johnny then he got out an AR-55 with a scope, as well as a K-8 Krukov with a grenade launcher. "I got more to work with, Boss."

"What about me?" Shaundi said.

"You're going to look after Birk," Vince said.

"Fuck no! I can't keep doing this!" Shaundi said.

"Wait," another female voice was heard as a sharply dressed woman came out wearing a rather dark purple turtleneck sweater and a leather skirt of the same color with purple-framed shades over her head. It was Kiki.

"I'll look after him," Kiki said.

"Wait, where's your sister?" Vince said.

"Viola is down at the observation deck," Kiki said. "She's getting some stuff ready. I could go back down and help her."

"No, no, no, no, I can go down there and help out your sister," Shaundi interrupted and leaned towards Kiki's ear and whispered, "I owe you big time for this."

Kiki looked at Shaundi with so much confusion on her face, but she was willing to keep Birk safe.

"Okay, Pierce and I got shit to do," Vince said. "It's like that old song, 'when the shit goes down, you better be ready.'"

Vince and Pierce headed to the elevator to go down into the street. A purple Sovereign and a purple Infuego were parked right out in front. Vince opened the trunk of the Infuego and found some glass bottles of alcohol, as well as some rags. It occurred to him what the plan will be.

"Hey, you think you can pick with STAG all by yourself?" Pierce said.

"What, you're not coming?" Vince said.

"Going to pick up a surprise for STAG," Pierce said. "The rest of the crew setting up the cars with the bombs right now. You know how to use a Molotov?"

"Yes, Pierce, I know how to throw a fucking bottle," Vince said with some mild annoyance in his voice.

"Jesus, I was just askin'," Pierce said. "Anyway, I'll be by soon with the big surprise."

"Can't wait," Vince said and then entered the Infuego. Pierce entered the Sovereign. They were both on their way to their destinations.

Vince knew where he had to go to send STAG a message. He had been there a couple of times now. He strolled down the street right under the L-train tracks and rolled through the park. He crossed the park and made a right. As soon as he passed right by an N-Forcer, zapping sounds were heard. Vince looked through the rearview mirror inside and also on the door. A STAG soldier fired lasers from the turret right at him. Vince hit the gas harder and speed down the street in Loren Square where many advertisements of Let's Pretend, Leather & Lace, Planet Saints, and MurderBrawl were on display. He quickly made a left and rolled under another track. It meant that his destination was near.

Many lasers continued to fire towards him. Many civilians dropped from the gunfire. They couldn't just pull him over, they had to try to kill him right then and there. When he continued to drive, he made a left into the lot of the STAG PR Center. A banner was shown a few floors up on the building, reading, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" and "JOB WELL DONE."

Oh these banners have to go on principle. Vince thought. A few Molotovs should do it.

Vince pulled over close to a couple of N-Forcers. He got two bottles out and opened them, and then put rags on the tops of the bottles. He got out of the car and took both of them out. Vince got one and lit it on fire and threw it right at one banner. He repeated the same process towards the other banner. Both banners started to burn. It wasn't long until STAG soldiers storm outside with their Viper laser rifles, as well as their S3X Hammer shotguns. On top of that, an N-Forcer pulled up from the opposite direction, with a STAG soldier on the turret.

"Fuck!" He knew he was outnumbered. There was only one choice to make, as the other would mean he would meet his end. He wasted no time in getting into the Infuego and tailing it out of there.

As he drove, he called Oleg and talked through his earpiece. "Oleg, they're on the way. We ready?"

"Yes, be careful not to set off the bombs when you get close," Oleg said. "I'll be monitoring STAG's approach from our security room."

"No problem, I'll be there soon," Vince said.

Vince sped his way through traffic. Many people tried to go about their day, driving through the streets of Loren Square like it was any other day, as well as walked on the sidewalk. Lasers kept flying across the streets. Civilians dropped because of it. Vince knew that he was a killer and had also killed people because he was hired to do so, some even got caught in the crossfire. But with STAG, it was clear that despite their so-called cause, there was little-to-no regard for the safety of others. It did not help that some lasers hit the car Vince drove a bit, causing damage to the vehicle's infrastructure, as well as internally as smoke started coming out from under the hood.

Whether it was by his skillful driving or by some sheer stroke of luck, Vince found himself in front of the Saints HQ. Right when he got out of the car, he noticed that traffic went to a halt in front and many different vans and pickup trucks were parked in different positions. It was no secret to him what that meant. No time was to be wasted, he ran into the front door, down the hallway, and into the elevator to get onto the floor of the observation deck.

DING! Vince got out. Open crates, glass removed from the windows, weapons including Annihilator rocket launchers laid out, it was now time to let loose.

"Hey, Vince." A very familiar female voice was heard. He turned around and saw Shaundi.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Vince said.

"I'm here to help," Shaundi said. "I'm handling the north. Viola is at the south."

"Okay, let's fuck with those STAG motherfuckers," Vince said. Suddenly, his phone rang and he quickly answered it through his earpiece. "Hey, Oleg."

"All right, use the rocket launcher I left to set off the bombs when STAG gets close," Oleg said.

"We're on it," Vince said. He saw the Annihilator laid out right there. It even had the lock-on function on it.

"What are you doing?" Shaundi said.

"Just sit back and enjoy the fireworks," Vince said and picked up the rocket launcher.

The two looked out the window at the road below. With many of the trucks and vans parked in various directions, many STAG N-Forcers pulled up in different directions, from the north to the west and to the east. Those attack vehicles wasted little time in firing the lasers at the building.

"Shaundi, back up a bit," Vince said. He knelt on the floor, held the Annihilator in a firing position and looked through the scope. It was not long until the target locked onto a van, and once it happened, Vince fired.

KABOOM! The explosion set off different explosions from all of the armed vehicles. The blast from the rocket-propelled grenade hit the van, which caused multiple blasts from the other car bombs. Many of the N-Forcers that pulled up went flying. Some flipped over, some caught on fire, and some even had the remains of the vehicle all over that intersection. If that wasn't enough, some of the concrete even broke and flew from the explosions. Some of the attack vehicles even flew through the windows and doorways on the buildings across the street.

"Wow," Shaundi said.

"Get ready to shoot," Vince said. Shaundi grabbed her AR-55. Hers, too, got upgraded with the scope attachment. More N-Forcers pulled up. Some other STAG soldiers stood on the ground below firing lasers from the corner. What was clear was that the lasers reached as high as the windows of the north side. The same was shown when the laser turrets towards the window.

"Shaundi, shoot any of the ground troops," Vince said. "Those motherfuckers on the trucks are mine."

Many more Saints soldiers ran in to assist them. Vince grabbed the Annihilator and reloaded an RPG onto it. The lasers kept zapping towards them. However, an explosion went off at ground level.

"Holy shit, Vince, good job!" Shaundi said.

"I haven't fired yet," Vince said, and then his ringtone came on and quickly answered. "Hello?"

"How'd you like that, Vince?" The voice sounded cocky. There was only one man who would talk that way.

"Good shot, Johnny," Vince said.

"No sweat," Johnny said. "Remember, I'm up on the roof with some others. If the shit gets too hot, we'll cover you from up here."

"Not a problem with us," Vince said. Once again, the phone started to ring. "Talk to me, Oleg."

"Go help Viola, I'll watch this side for trouble," Oleg said.

"Right," Vince said. "Johnny's also helping out from above. Make sure you hit him up for more of our defense."

"Affirmative, comrade," Oleg said.

"Come on, Shaundi, let's go help out Viola," Vince said.

"What, why? More of those assholes are coming out to the front," Shaundi said.

"Johnny's helping out from the roof," Vince said. "Now let's get going."

Vince and Shaundi, along with a few others ran towards the south side as they ran up the steps alongside another glass window, as well as a door to their right. As soon as they got close to her, many more of their fellow Saints, along with Viola were firing at any STAG soldiers that managed to make their way inside. Viola fired 10 shots towards any STAG soldier coming towards her, but one of them had a riot shield in hand. She looked up at the platform and more came out, one with a S3X Hammer shotgun.

"Oh, fuck me!" Viola said and quickly dove out of range. As soon as she hit the floor, part of the buckshot grazed her right leg a bit, but it didn't affect her movement. She looked at the shot on the floor. The buckshot looked like there were more pellets in this type of shell than what you would find in a standard shotgun shell.

Viola ran towards the wall that was to the platform where the other crates and elevator was.

BANG! BANG! BANG! More shots came a coming, as the STAG soldiers dropped with blood squirting the helmets of their armored uniforms. They were flanked by Vince, Shaundi, and other fellow Saints. Viola sat there panting and looked up when the gunfire stopped.

"Oh, thank God!" Viola said.

"What's going on now?" Shaundi said. Viola turned around and saw more of STAG's troops pulling into the south side of the Saints HQ.

"Looks like they're focusing on the south side," Viola said.

Vince ran towards the window and saw more N-Forcers pulling up, as well as other cars parked on the road below.

"Do you plan on using those car bombs?" Viola said.

"Are you fucking kidding?" Vince said and drew his Annihilator. "I live for this shit."

The N-Forcers went to a halt. STAG soldiers popped out of the turrets ready to fire any lasers. Like before, Vince looked through the scopes and waited for the target to lock on. Once it locked onto a pickup truck this time, he fired without any hesitation.

KABOOM! The same thing happened. The blast caused the N-Forcers to go flying. Sparks flew in the air. However, telephone poles were knocked over onto the debris. The wiring connecting from another pole, as well as any other surrounding buildings snapped. Some of the blast caused windows from buildings across the street to shatter, as well as the wreckage from any N-Forcer to go into the buildings, as well as the alleyway next to one of them. One could hope that some people got out of that area in time, especially with all of the carnage occurring on the north side at this point.

"Not bad," Viola said.

"Thanks," Vince said.

But Viola noticed that the explosion wasn't enough. Even from where she was, she saw that on a rooftop of a building containing a water tower that was eastbound, as well as farther away from, coincidentally enough, another building with a water tower on the roof, more STAG troopers were coming. However, they probably had other plans in mind.

"Snipers, south side!" Viola said.

"Oh shit," Vince said and noticed more N-Forcers at the bottom. Lucky for him, he saw a McManus 2015 rifle.

"Shaundi," Vince said and held out the Annihilator. "Do the honors."

"But…," Shaundi said.

"No, fuck those guys up," Vince said and looked to both women. "Ladies, cover me." He told the others to cover him, Shaundi, and Viola for any other STAG troop getting inside.

Vince grabbed the rifle. He looked towards the building on the eastern side of where he and the other Saints were. Vince knelt near the crate closest to the window, holding the rifle in a firing position. He looked through the scope, crosshair right on the dome of one of the snipers. He knew he had these two in the bag. Viola and Shaundi handled the rest of the work going on from the bottom.

BANG! One sniper down. Vince shot one on the roof as a chunk of the STAG soldier's helmet broke off. Crosshair on the second sniper and BANG! The other sniper was down. This time the body fell off the roof and onto the ground below. It was clear that the sniper was not going to feel the impact of the fall after having some of his brains blown out.

"Good shot, Boss," a male Saint said.

"No problem," Vince said.

"Let's keep—" the Saint's sentence was cut off midway as he dropped to the floor with a major bullet wound right in his chest and blood running out of his mouth. BANG! A female Saint dropped from another gunshot, except she took one in the head with brain matter coming out. These shots came from westbound.

"Fuck, the other snipers!" Viola said.

Shaundi grabbed the rocket launcher and saw the snipers from that far building. She stood close to the window, out in the open, ready to fire a rocket at them.

"SHAUNDI, NO!" Vince yelled.

Without any warning, with Viola, and any surviving Saints sitting out a bit so that they won't get hit by the other snipers, Vince quickly stormed right towards Shaundi. He grabbed her, causing her to lose grip of the rocket launcher as it fell from her hands and out of the window. Vince held onto Shaundi and jumped inward more towards Viola.

BANG! The gunshot had hit a wall that was in the direction of where Shaundi stood. Shaundi looked at the bullet hole on that wall. Her eyes widened as Vince held her and shook at what could have been her death if Vince didn't react in time.

"Holy fucking shit!" Shaundi said, trembling at what could have been. Yes, she had been in gunfights, but dealing with snipers usually is not easy. It made her remember how Vince and Johnny were lucky to have had vests on that one day they got shot, especially police-grade vests that barely managed to take military-grade bullets.

BANG! BANG! Vince let go of Shaundi and slowly crawled to look outside the window. It looked like the snipers were no longer there. Vince grabbed his phone to call the one man who he needed to speak to.

"Johnny, tell me you go those snipers," Vince said.

"Done deal, man," Johnny said. "You all right?"

"I took out to other snipers, but some of our people are dead," Vince said.

"Shit, Boss, not sure what to tell you," Johnny said.

As Johnny continued talking, Vince looked up, as did Shaundi and Viola, all of whose eyes widened at the sight of an F-69 VTOL jet flying right by the window.

"Um, Vince, you might want to hear this, but some tanks and jets started coming by," Johnny said.

"Not surprised," Vince said. "Anyway, take down as many of those tanks and jets as you can."

"You ain't got to tell me twice," Johnny said.

The call ended, but then the phone rang once again. It was Oleg this time.

"Talk to me, Oleg," Vince said.

"They sent a tank to the north side!" Oleg said.

"I know, I'm on my way," Vince said and turned towards the ladies.

"Are you two okay?" Vince said. Shaundi nodded her head and Viola said yes.

"We'll handle things over here," Viola said.

"Are you sure you two can get along?" Vince said.

"Relax," Shaundi said. "You don't have to worry about us not getting along. We'll be fine."

Vince got close to Shaundi and put his right hand on her left side of her face. "Be careful."

"We will," Shaundi said, while Viola looked on.

Shaundi picked up her AR-55, while Viola had her D4TH Blossom. Vince ran away towards the front side of the building, facing the north.

Meanwhile, Viola looked towards Shaundi and said, "You were lucky. Actually, you are lucky."

"Thanks," Shaundi said.

"No, I mean it, I can see he really cares about you," Viola said. "I know you have a hard time trusting me and Kiki because of who we used to work for, but we've done our part around here. I hope we can be friends."

"You know something, Viola, you're not as bad as I thought you were at first," Shaundi said. "Neither is your sister. In fact, ever since I heard that you two helped out Johnny, I realized that I shouldn't jump the gun. You two are all right."

"Thank you," Viola said and those two shook hands.

Vince ran back towards the north side of the observation deck. Many STAG Crusader tanks rolled up. The debris of the wreckage from the exploding cars remained to be on the intersection, but things in that general area had now taken a turn for the worse. The buildings across the street were up in flames and smoke was seen coming out. Broken pieces of rubble, as well as holes seen on the walls. It was amazing that a parked Kayak on the side of the road in front of one of the damaged buildings was left intact with no damage whatsoever.

Vince saw two Crusader tanks, along with more N-Forcers. More lasers fired towards the building. It was likely that the Saints HQ was damaged as well. Vince grabbed his phone and quickly contacted Johnny.

"What's up?" Johnny said.

"You take down the tank on the left, I'll take down the one on the right," Vince said.

"Shit, I thought you'd never ask," Johnny said. "Just let me know when you're ready."

Vince saw another Annihilator RPG-launcher lying next to the crates. The rocket launcher had the same modifications as the one that Shaundi dropped out of the window. Knowing that STAG won't hold back at firing lasers, he knelt down as he held the launcher. As he looked through the scope, the target locked onto the tank on the right.

"Okay, Johnny, are you ready?" Vince said.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Johnny said.

"Okay, on three," Vince said. "One…two…THREE!"

Vince fired the rocket from the observation deck onto the tank on the right. Johnny fired his rocket all the way from the roof. BOOM! The rockets caused some damage to the Crusader tanks, but it wasn't enough that they were fully down. From Vince's field of vision, he noticed that the tanks' cannons were pointing upward.

"Oh shit," Vince said. "Johnny!"

"I see it," Johnny said.

"Fuck this, shoot the damn tank!" Vince said and pointed right at the same tank as before and fired another rocket at it. Johnny repeated the same process as before. BOOM! Both tanks were badly damaged, but more of STAG's other troops fired their lasers.

Up on the patio area, Johnny looked out below onto the street level. It was clear that these parts of Sunset Park were all messed up. Buildings on fire, cars badly damaged, innocent civilians likely caught in the crossfire in the other buildings. What was crazy about all of this was none of the damage was caused by the Saints.

A huge shadow cast over the helipad of the Saints HQ. It caused him to look up above.

"What the fuck?" Johnny said aloud to himself.

Right above him was an F-69 VTOL jet. He quickly reloaded his rocket launcher, but before he could fire another rocket, the jet emitted a laser right towards, zapping the helipad a bit, as well as the concrete near the pool.

"Fuck!" Johnny yelled and dove out of the way. The laser kept chasing after him. Until it stopped as he heard what sounded like gunfire from a turret, and on top of that, it sounded like actual bullets being fired.

"What the…?" Johnny said and looked up. He saw what looked like a hover-bike firing bullets at the jet. The jet looked like it was ready to launch missiles right to the hover-bike. Johnny got out his McManus rifle and looked through the scope and it was something he did not expect. It turned out it was a woman on the hover-bike. She wore a black and orange suit. The hover-bike even had the same color scheme. Who was she was what he wondered.

It wasn't long until the hover-bike went into jet mode and start flying a way, but not before landing more shots to the jet, causing it more damage on one of the wings. Right then, the STAG pilot ejected out of the plane with the ejector seat and quickly started parachuting in the air.

"Oh, fuck this shit," Johnny said aloud and quickly looked through the scope and fired a slug right at the parachuting soldier. From there, the jet crashed into the street below. Johnny ran right back to the helipad and saw that the jet crashed right onto the debris of the tanks and N-Forcers.

Vince looked down below and saw the wreckage of the jet on the street. The streets of Sunset Park looked like warzone by this point. It would take a lot of money to cover all of the property damage.

Out of the blue, Vince's phone rang. He saw that it was Pierce calling.

"Pierce, what's up?" Vince said.

"Vince, I'm on my way back," Pierce said. "You're gonna love our new toy."

For some peculiar reason, the purple Sovereign pulled up on the road going northbound in the intersection, but not before seeing a big heat laser firing at Pierce.

"Oh shit, Pierce!" Vince said, and then the phone rang again. "Oleg."

"Get down there before someone kills Pierce!" Oleg said.

Somehow, Pierce managed to go into a conference call. "A little help down here, got a tank on me!"

"On it," Vince said. Viola and Shaundi came to the north side.

"Ladies, cover me," Vince said. "I got to go get Pierce."

"We got you," Viola said.

"Be careful!" Shaundi said.

Vince ran right to the elevator and hit the button for the first floor. As soon as the door opened, he ran right down the hallway to get to the front door. Suddenly, Vince's phone rang again.

"Pierce," Vince said.

"Hurry, I'm not lasting much longer on my own out here!" Pierce said.

So much wreckage and debris, buildings on fire, light poles knocked over, yet more Crusader tanks and N-Forcers keep coming out of the woodwork, along with ground troops firing from their Viper laser rifles, as well as S3X Hammer shotguns. Lasers were still being fired towards the observation deck, as higher to the penthouse. Vince looked around, dropped a couple of ground troops and even fired directly at one STAG troop on a turret. It was now or never. He went up to that N-Forcer in particular. No driver was in the driver's seat, yet the key was still in the ignition and it was set in park. Vince put it in drive and drove down where Pierce was covering himself behind the Sovereign he drove.

Vince pulled and through the window, he yelled, "Get your ass in here!"

Pierce ran right in front and went into the passenger's side with what he looked like a case in his hand. "Damn, glad you came along when you did."

"Was it worth it?" Vince said while he made a hard turn in the N-Forcer to head back to HQ.

"Hell yeah, let's head up and I'll show you," Pierce said.

It didn't take long until they reached the exterior of the front entrance. Vince and Pierce quickly got out of the N-Forcer and ran right towards the elevator. Vince hit the button for the observation deck.

DING! They got out. Shaundi and Viola were still there.

"Oh, thank goodness," Shaundi said as the two men were getting out.

"Hey, Pierce and I got something to do right now," Vince said. "Shaundi, you go head up to the penthouse. Kiki's up there with Birk."

"Okay, I'll do that," Shaundi said as she headed towards the elevator.

"Give those assholes hell, baby," Shaundi said. Vince had a look of amazement on his face when he heard Shaundi say that.

Did she just call me "baby"? Vince thought.

"Yo, Boss, you ready?" Vince finally snapped into reality when he heard Pierce's voice. Viola stayed nearby as a lookout person and to also provide more covering fire.

"Hey, so what's this new toy?" Vince said.

Pierce got out what looked like a laser gun of some sort from the case he was carrying, except the laser didn't look like it could harm others, at least not directly.

"It's a laser-targeting system," Pierce said. "Who wants to call down an airstrike?"

"Pierce, gold star for you," Vince said.

"Fuck right," Pierce said as he handed the airstrike laser gun to Vince.

Both men approached the window, along with Viola. Some of the surviving Saints soldiers were around.

"Hey, you guys might want to step back if you don't want to get hit by the lasers," Vince said. "Besides, you don't want to miss the fireworks."

Vince guided a laser right towards a tank with some N-Forcers around it. Once the target locked on and a beep sounded, a voice from close by said, "target acquired."

A sound of aircraft flying by Sunset Park occurred, along with a rain of aircraft missiles launched right towards the Crusader tanks and N-Forcers. This just wasn't a good day to be in Sunset Park and that would be an understatement.

But Vince wasn't done. He guided another laser towards more of STAG's attack ground vehicles, calling in another airstrike in the process. More explosions had occurred. It wasn't long until the tanks and N-Forcers were down.

"Man, Pierce, you did a great job," Vince said. "I almost wish I got to use the AV drones on these guys, but this was even better."

"I told you we would fuck STAG up," Pierce said as he and Vince fist-bumped one another

Through all of the smoke amidst from the explosions that occurred, Viola noticed something in the sky.

"Oh fuck us all," Viola said. "I see aircraft coming in."

"Just what we need," Vince said. "Pierce, Viola, grab some rocket launchers, because shit is about to get even heavier."

Vince led Pierce and Viola to the crate where the Annihilator RPG launchers were. There were more in there, along with some rocket-propelled grenades.

"Don't hold back, just fire at any of these fuckers in the air," Vince said. Viola and Pierce didn't have to say anything, they were already in agreement.

The trio fired as many rockets as they could to any of the aircraft that faced the observation deck, as well as the penthouse. They quickly reloaded any rockets and wasted no time in firing more rockets. Explosions everywhere, more debris on the streets, just to think the price in property damaged that was rising as this battle continued. As soon as no more VTOLs were seen in the air, the trio dropped their rocket launchers. Were they done? One would hope so.

"STAG has broken in!" Oleg said through Vince's earpiece.

"Oh shit, STAG's in here," Vince said. He, along with Pierce and Viola picked up some AR-55s, D4TH Blossoms, anything that would be useful against STAG. The trio was ready to open fire as soon as they would see anybody coming at them.

A wave of STAG soldiers ran right towards them from the right. The trio quickly fired at anybody who came towards them. Vince had an AR-55, but Pierce had a K-8 Krukov.

"Pierce, blow those fuckers up," Vince said.

"Oh, I'm on it," Pierce said and as soon as he saw about five STAG soldiers running towards them, Pierce launched and then BOOM! They were sent flying. Some even went out the window to the side.

"Let's get going," Vince said as they ran to the other side to get on the other elevator. But more STAG soldiers were coming up from behind, unbeknownst to the trio. They were ready to flank them, until a blast occurred. Vince, Pierce, and Viola turned around and saw more of STAG's soldiers were flying, even out of the window. From behind a corner and going up the steps, Johnny made his presence known.

"What would I ever do without you, Johnny?" Vince said.

"Hey, the Saints look out for one another," Johnny said. "I'm also down for more murderin'."

"Yeah, well, we need to go up to the penthouse, settle this shit once and for all," Vince said.

"I'm with you guys," Johnny said.

Vince led the other three back to the elevator. He pushed the button to head into the penthouse. They got off. Oddly enough, the penthouse looked to be in good condition. There may have been shootouts that occurred when the Saints invaded a Morningstar party, as well as when the Saints threw a party there, but they fixed it up nicely after those times. He looked around and saw Kiki.

"Where's Shaundi? Where's Birk?" Vince said.

"They're out by the helipad," Kiki said. "STAG are on there way here to settle this."

"Sounds like more shit's about to go down," Vince said. "I want all of you to stay in here. If things get heavy, I want you all to get the fuck out of here. Go get Oleg. I have a bad feeling about this."

"You got it," Johnny said. "We'll go get the big dude in a bit."

It was time. A lot of the carnage had died down. Aircraft were in the air, but they weren't ready to open fire. They just flew on by. Vince went out into the patio area and towards the helipad as he saw a STAG VTOL Condor approaching the helipad, ready to land. Shaundi stood nearby holding Birk at gunpoint. As soon as it landed, the rear door to the Condor opened, as Commander Temple was seen exiting with two STAG soldiers by the door.

"Surrender, kid," Temple said as he approached Vince. "We got the perimeter."

"Yeah," Shaundi said as she held Birk at gunpoint and approached Vince. "But we got your poster boy."

Shaundi shoved Birk right towards Vince, who grabbed him in a human-shield position and held him at gunpoint as well.

"I want STAG out of my city," Vince said.

"Not going to happen," Temple said. "STAG's mission is to eradicate the gangs in Steelport. But where to focus the firepower is my call. Release Birk, and we'll go hammer the Syndicate for a while. Give you boys a little breathing room."

Shaundi looked towards Vince and Birk. "How do you want to play it?"

Vince continued to hold Birk at gunpoint, but Birk said, "Wait."

"Huh?" Vince said.

"Let me say this," Birk said. "No longer shall I hide from my one true love and her cause. Allow Shaundi and I to be together, and I swear her enemies…will be my enemies."

Shaundi had a look of disgust on her face. "Oh no, no, no, fuck no. Don't even think about keeping that prick around. I will lose my damn mind!"

"You sure about this?" Vince said.

"Positive, either me and Shaundi," Birk said. "Or me and Kiki." He said under his breath.

Really? Vince thought.

Temple stepped forward. "You have 60 seconds to decide."

Vince figured that after Birk had something going with Kiki the previous night, as well as previous times, and also for her to look after him, he made his decision. Vince pushed Birk right towards Shaundi.

Temple called out to his fellow soldiers. "Prepare to open fire on the building."

Temple went back into the Condor as it started to ascend from the helipad.

"You guys get the fuck out of here!" Vince said.

"I got Birk, just jump!" Shaundi guided Birk towards the penthouse.

"Time to move our ass!" Vince said as he ran towards the end of the helipad as the other VTOL jets fired lasers directly towards him. As soon as he jumped, he glided, until he pulled a cord, letting out a parachute.

Man, I'm glad I had this on all along. Vince thought as he parachuted down into the streets of Sunset Park, now overrun with so much destruction that had occurred that day.

As soon as he hit the ground, many of the VTOL jets fired lasers and missiles right at the penthouse, causing even more destruction. This time, it left permanent damage to the penthouse. The Saints HQ was no more. Vince looked up from the streets. People who weren't caught up in the decimation of that area in Sunset Park went out and saw all of the rubble and debris, as well as some of the remains of the penthouse raining down into the ground below. Shaundi drove her Torch with Viola as her passenger. Kiki drove her Temptress with Birk. Pierce and Johnny drove a Criminal with Oleg in tow, along with other surviving Saints soldiers. They all looked up with so much shock and sadness that their headquarters was now destroyed. Sure, they may have had other hideouts in Steelport, but this one was different. Vince couldn't believe what just happened either.

Meanwhile, from a distance, on the Thermopylae, Kia stood there with two STAG soldiers as she looked through a pair of binoculars as the decimation of the Saints HQ.

"Kia, do you read me?" Temple's voice was heard through a transceiver that Kia had.

"I see congratulations are in order, Commander," Kia said.

"Not quite, the Saints are still at large," Temple said. "We'll focus on the Syndicate, but right now, I have some intel I will send over to you. I need leverage on the Saints. Bring in these two targets in for questioning."

One of the STAG soldiers had a computer tablet in hand, ready to hand it to Kia as she approached him. Kia looked at the screen, which had profiles on Johnny Gat and Shaundi, whose last name was shown on there.

"They're going to run to ground," Kia said. "Digging them won't be easy."

"If it were easy, I wouldn't waste your time," Temple said.

"Understood, sir," Kia said. "I'll find them. Then we'll work on the others."

"That's what I like to hear," Temple said.

"Noted, signing off," Kia said.

Author's note: And that was STAG Party. A little longer than I originally thought I was going to do it, but I figured it would be rather lengthy.

Okay, regarding the ending, there's just no way that the damage of the Saints HQ can be repaired, unless it's rebuilt or renovated somehow. In the game, yes, it's still used, but I'm trying to be somewhat realistic here. The same could be said about when Shaundi was almost shot. Sure, someone could be brave enough to take part in battles like that, but there is no way that someone could have a close call like that and not exhibit any form of fear. Sure, there are people who aren't afraid to die, but I wanted to show that there can be a human side.

I also wanted to have a bit of a moment between Shaundi and Viola. In the game, Shaundi showed that she did not like Viola, but with both twins being alive, as well as Johnny being alive, I wanted to show that both twins grew on her a bit.

Next up, it's going to be an interlude. Stay tuned.
