Forgiveness and Repentance

Today as April has started and Easter celebration has come, we should take this time to think about the how our sins are forgiven and how many of us that submit to Christ Jesus and his teaching are to live. For starters we know that he died on the Cross, we know that Christ came to this world not as ruler, but savior in our unrepentance in sins. Offering hope, salvation and covering of our born sinners body. Folks we are reborn again as new babes in spirit when we start to submit to God and what he his death on the Cross truly did for our sins. It's a reminder that even when we know our lives are still a sinful life, and we would still have sins. Christ Jesus came to remove our sins from our lives by making himself the sacrificial lamb for the sins none of our can removed or work towards Heaven. All of our past, present and future can finally be remove guilt free, and now give us eternal hope through Christ, working in us day by day as we continue to grow in Spirit.

For some of you new to what is being told, we start at Christ Jesus having his last disciples. There he mention one of them will betray him, that being Judas who will betray Jesus by turning him to the Romans and High Priest at the time for 30 pieces of silver. What occurred in this last supper with Jesus is when breaking the bread he says to them, "My body given for you, do this in remembrance of me " then he would say, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you" In both of these, we must understand what he meant. First is the bread is broken into pieces, but you must also remember that this is the Passover week, as Jesus is following what the Lord Almighty as declared for this special week as reminder of how Israel is delivered by his hand. The Bread broken in pieces is the reminder of how Christ Jesus would then die on the Cross for them, for all mankind as his greatest event that will be remember. With the cup of wine symbolize as his blood, means the new covenant will be remade once for us, creating the followers of Christ we have today.

This holiday known as Easter will be seen as Easter eggs, candy, Easter Bunny and all that sorts. But the true meaning for this holiday is when Christ came into our lives, paid the price for our sins and have given us access for repentance and forgiveness. Before this many would have to follow as strict rule of sacrificing the lamb for covering our sins. This process is the shed of innocent blood from a lamb so that our sins can be covered in God's sight. Yet many of failed because even when practice, there was no meaning anymore then just tradition and rules. Yes God has rules and tradition we have to follow, but they are meaningless if there is no purpose or selfish intention behind this action. We must not forget that no sin, and I mean NO SIN! Can ever be hidden from God, meaning every secret sins in our hearts, action we have taken behind closed doors or even when private words spoken or thought about will never be hidden from God. That's how he will know if your for him or against him, for Judas by the end led astray by his own selfish ambitions. Yet after realizing what he had done, he wanted repentance except he killed himself in the end.

Repentance is the greatest gift for everyone that seek God for time can ever receive as first time believers. To know that no matter your sins or actions you are forgiven for all eternity when you commit yourself to God. It's the first step to him, when you are reborn as follower of Christ. Now I won't say everyone is that way, but let's not forget that week is the greatest event to happen, it was the most tragic at the time. When the Romans came for them, many Disciples fled for their lives even if this was act of betrayal they never realize. This is especially for Peter who is one of the 3 most closes friend to Christ. He said to Jesus and everyone I would die for you, and Jesus knew that they would have ran when trouble appeared, but he also said to Peter, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny me 3 times." This came to past and Peter realize in his own horror what he had done, ashamed and unable to face anyone in his mistake.

But when Christ is born again, he came to them raised from the dead. He came to Peter and asked him, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more then these?" and Simon named Peter said, "Yes, Lord. You know that I love you." and Jesus replied, "Feed my lambs." This takes place in John 21:15-17, what this meant in Peter and Jesus is how when Peter denied him three times, he felt ashamed of how he rejected God. Yet here we see Peter is being forgiven as he now says three times "Yes, Lord. You know that I love you." This is sobering reminder that our God is a forgiving God, one of mercy, one of compassion and love for those who turn to him and seek him in loving compassion towards God and what he wants for our lives. Yet we are also reminded that some of us who proclaim as Christians, saints and believers are just saying this in public appearance like Judas and only seek desires from our own wicked hearts. But we can remember that those who seek God, will forgive your sins when you seek repentance and I mean true repentance. The Latter is more about you willingly make a choice to place God first and to move on from your old life and work in your now reborn life in spirit. This is to remember what Christ and God as done for us and why we are celebrating this day on Sunday and Passover week. Now the question is asked, do you want repentance, and if your already a Christian, saint and Believer remember what this means for us and how we shouldn't forget what this means in our personal lives and those around us.
