Episode Name: "Threshold of Destruction"
Episode Summary:
Turns out Sam was right. Every Chaotic player has heard that Dranikus Threshold is a portal to Ancient Perim and they are all using it to get cool new scans. They go to Kiru Village and see there are dozens of players running around and scanning the villagers. The Overworlders don't seem to happy about that. Then the village is attacked by Underworlders, but Najarin saves the day by using a mugic. Tom and his friends go to congratulate Najarin for his heroic act, but Najarin is angry at them and tells them to leave.
Back in the present time, Tom goes to see Najarin to apologize for letting the secret of Dranikus Threshold get out to the Chaotic population. Najarin also apologize for how he acted in the past towards Tom and his friends, but says he wasn't angry about all the Chaotic players coming to his village. He explains that after Tom's first visit to the village, his apprentice overheard them talking about Dranikus Threshold and went off to use it. Najarin was too late to stop him and has never seen Afjak sense.
Klay and Krystells go to Lord Van Bloot, who has become a lowly servant to the M'arrillians. After the M'arrillians' deafet, Chaor banished Van Bloot and with no where else to go, Van Bloot went to the M'arrillians. They tell him about Dranikus Threshold and how he can use it to rule ancient Perim. Inn exchange for this information, they want to be the only players allowed in Ancient Perim. Najarin learns about what Van Bloot is planning on doing, so he gets help from several creatures from the other Tribes to fight Van Bloot. Najarin then destroy the Threshold so no other creature can use it for evil even though it was the only thing that could help him find Afjak. Later, Najarin reads the old note Afjak left for him, revealing that Afjak was Najarin's son.
Season 3, Episode 9
Keen to prove himself
The student travels through time
To start his journey.
Notes: Such a sad ending. I think Afjak most likely went to the far past. But there's still hope for Najarin to see his son again. In an earlier episode in season two, there was another location that allowed people to travel time. But it worked differently than Dranikus Threshold. I would also bet there are other ways to time travel in Perim.
Question: Do you think Najarin will someday see his son again?
