This is a bit on Ace's past drug use

Eldritch gave a look to him. "I know of a pair of drug dealers, they're the best, and have the strongest stuff." Ace blinked. "Sure, let's try." Ace then took Eldritch's hand and they disappeared, appearing on an island Eldritch said to head to. When they got there, he and Eldritch headed a bit around, before they saw a couple of what looked like twins. Eldritch then said who Ace was, and the two introduced themselves as Virus and Trip, drug dealers. They weren't twins, but looked like it, and they looked… special. They fit being drug dealers. They then chatted a bit, before Eldritch asked for some strong drugs, which they got. They then headed to a small island, where they could be in peace, just a couple living there, and they had been here before, getting high on normal stuff. Now they had something stronger. And when they took it, it took only a quarter before things felt… muddled, in a good way. It felt as if everything was moving slower. "What is this?" Eldritch chuckled. "Sedative hypnotic. Makes you feel great." It did, and he hoped it would get better, which it did. He felt as if nothing mattered, it was as if he was underwater, movement felt sluggish and slow, things sounded muddled and muffled, but it felt great. He had only been on small drugs up until now, sleeping drugs and such, nothing like this.
It only lasted for an hour, and when it was over, or started to go over, Ace felt annoyed. Eldritch was still high off his rockers. Why did he have to have this fruit he had? Sometimes he hated it. So he headed back to the island they had been on, finding the two twins he believed, and asked for more. The one in the suit spoke first. "You just got something." The other with the vest continued. "You can't take too much, you will die." Ace felt his eye twitch. "Listen here, I have a devil fruit that makes me more able to sustain drugs and such. I can drink a bottle of 78 pure alcohol and barely notice it." The one with glasses gave an 'ah' "I see. If you think you can handle it, here. But if you die, it is not on us." Ace nodded. He didn't care, he just wanted to feel great again. When he got the same amount as before, one hit, Ace asked for more, he wanted to feel great this whole day. The two seemed a bit reluctant, but gave him what he wanted, getting 10 hits, that would be 10 hours. He then went back to Eldritch, who hadn't even noticed he was gone, and took a hit, almost giving a moan when it started to feel great again. And he kept that up for the next 10 hours, lasting almost 11 hours before he felt sober. He didn't want to feel sober just yet. So once again, he headed back to Virus and Trip, asking for more. It had Virus, the one with the suit, hum, a hand moving to his chin, looking his face over. "You seem sober. How? You got 10 hits 11 hours ago." Ace gave a huff. "I heal fast, makes drugs barely work. Now, give me more!" Trip hummed. "We can, but how about this. If you speak the truth, we have a trial drug we just made, stronger than anything. Would you like to try a few hits?" Ace blinked, before he nodded. "Yes." Trip chuckled. "You can get 3 hits. A normal person would be out for 5 days which each hit, come back when you feel sober from the three hits." Ace nodded, getting the drug and he paid for himself, before he headed back to Eldritch, telling what he had gotten. Which had the man jealous. So Ace offered a hit to him. He had 3, he could share. And after just 5 minutes, he felt himself stop in his steps as they were walking. It felt as if the world just… stopped. There was no sound. There was just silence. As he stood still, he soon heard a real muffled 'Ace' turning to see Eldritch looking at him. Ace felt amazing. The world had finally stopped, finally he could move about without feeling the crushing weight on his shoulder. He moved to look at his hand, which moved slowly up, even though Ace moved as fast as he could. It was as if really being underwater, in the dark deep depths, barely any sound when Eldritch spoke, which he couldn't make much sense of. But it felt great.
It lasted a day and half, and he took the second hit, eyes closing when he felt great again. Things moved slowly, things were silent. He felt better, he felt he could go on. It lasted for another day and half, and when it ended, he headed back to Virus and trip for the third time in 4 days. It had Virus hum. "Back sober already? 3 hits should have had you out more." Ace held up two fingers. "I gave a hit away. I took two. Lasted a day and half each." Trip nodded, moving closer and looking him over. "You are sober, your eyes tell so. I have a feeling we're going to become good friends." Ace would like that, be close to some drug dealer, it would benefit him, and if they made their own stuff, it was stronger than anything. He wanted to feel nothing. He wanted to feel great. "We have one more test drug," Started Virus, with Trip continuing. "It is close to the one you just got, but should last longer." Ace nodded, he wanted that. He got it and paid for himself, before he took the hit right away when he got back to Eldritch, who had actually noticed he was gone, searching for him. He was still high as fuck, so he didn't offer any drugs to him, Ace took it all himself. And again, things moved slow and sluggish, things were calm and felt amazing. He felt submerged in water in a good way.
It was the next day, he got a note about a meeting on the Red Cloud, and Ace needed to head there. He couldn't miss a meeting. He grabbed Eldritch and headed back to the base, joining the meeting. The first part went fine. He had some issues following with what was happening, but he got the jist of it. But as it was nearing its end, Ace felt tired. And a bit later, things went black.

Trevor blinked when Ace's head just fell down on the table, seeming to be out. It had everyone else worried too, especially Azuruko. And as they were about to move to check on Ace, Eldritch let out a laugh. "He couldn't handle it!" Trevor blinked. What? Azuruko gave a long look to Eldritch. "You're high." Eldritch shook his head. "No! I am now. Wait, no, not!" Trevor moved a hand on his face. "Please don't tell me Ace is high too?" Eldritch blinked. "Okay. Then I won't tell that." Trevor blinked when Eldritch kept silent. "Is he high?" Asked Trevor, making Eldritch hum. "You don't want me to say that." Yep, Ace was high. "What are you on?" Asked Azuruko, and Eldritch let out an 'uh'. "I don't know. Test drug from Virus and Virus- no, that's wrong. Trip and Trip. No, what was it again?" Trevor moved his hand on his face, moving to pinch his nose. "Why did you go to them? Why did you bring Ace! He's 15 for heaven's sake!" Ace was way too young to be on drugs. Eldritch blinked. "I don't want to be high alone! And I like Ace! He needed a breat! Brek! Break!" Oh God, Eldritch was not a good person to be around. Azuruko gave an annoyed look to Eldritch. "Go sober up." Eldritch nodded, moving a hand to his head. "Roger!" The man then sat still for a few seconds. "Where is my room again?" Trevor groaned. He hated Eldritch, he never had liked the other. Moira then went to show Eldritch to his room, making Trevor sigh. "Why do we have him again?" Azuruko sighed as well. "He is a good extortionist. But he has a drug issue now and then." Trevor blinked. "Now and then? It was just months ago. And he brought Ace into it!" Trevor made a motion to Ace, who was still out. He was breathing, so he was fine, just drugged. Azuruko sighed. "I know, and I hoped he would stay away from Ace." But he hadn't, and Trevor hated Eldritch so much. And this didn't make that hate go down. Ace shouldn't have a drug issue at 15.
When Moira came back, she said Eldritch fell down in a heap on his bed. Shen then brought Ace to the infirmary, where he could sleep it off. Trevor joined her in the infirmary with Azuruko, wanting to be around Ace. He really liked the little brat. When Ace woke up some hours later, he didn't make much sense in the first few sentences, just being muffled words. When he seemed to be better, Azuruko asked why he had gone with Eldritch, and Ace said since he needed something to make things feel good again. It had Azuruko sigh, and Trevor knew it. This was too hard for Ace. He shouldn't be a leader just yet. Ace was then laid off for a couple weeks, before he was allowed to work again, not getting a drug addiction as it had just been a few days. Ace was fine. And that was all that mattered.
After that, it was now and then Ace got a drug, just to wind down, but it wasn't anything bad. As long as he didn't get an addiction, it was fine.

Ace stood beside Eldritch at Virus and Trips's island. They had just gotten a good cocktail mix, telling how to use it, and after they had paid, they went to a slightly large island, mixing the drugs with alcohol. This would be great. He had been on drugs for the last 3 weeks, with Eldritch, and while it felt great, he wanted something stronger. When it was mixed, they poured it into two small glasses, before they drank it together. And after it, Ace waited. He hoped it would work fast. But he felt nothing after 10 minutes, which had him frown. "I feel nothing." He said to Eldritch, who said the same. And he was about to say something else, when he blinked. He felt something, he felt something was pushing on his mind, and before he could mention it, things went black. When he felt himself open his eyes again, he blinked. He was… he was on a boat. He looked around and soon found Eldritch, who was holding onto a line mast, yelling out to sea. "Where are we?" Eldritch who ho'd again, before he looked at him. "On our way to the end of the world!" Ace blinked. "What?" Eldritch shook his head, stepping down, before he took a flask out. "Come on! You're sobering up!" Ace was, and while he felt groggy, he felt calm and relaxed, which felt great, so he moved to take another swig of the flask, before it started working again and things went black. And that was how it was for the next few months, Ace taking another swig when he felt he was sobering up. He woke up a new place each time, being sober for only a few minutes before he took another swig, until he woke up one time and he was back at the base, Daisuke beside him. "Wha' happened?" Daisuke sighed. "You went off your rockers with Eldritch." Right, that was true, he had done that. "Where is Eldritch?" Daisuke pointed to another bed, Ace now noticing he was in the infirmary, and saw Eldritch in a bed too, dead asleep.
As he was about to get up, Daisuke stopped him. "No, you're going to go sober up. You're going to go through withdrawal. No one has seen you for 5 months." Ace blinked. Had he been on drugs that long? It didn't feel like 5 months, it felt like just a few days. Ace didn't really believe he would go through withdrawal, he hadn't been addicted. But he was still sent to be with Mike, same with Eldritch. He started to remember some of what he had done, and he had even been to a place where they worshipped the color green. Whatever he had taken, was strong. But after a day, Ace felt horrible. He felt much worse than he had ever felt before. It was as if his skin was crawling off his body and his brain trying to leave out his eyes. Was this withdrawal? It was horrible. Mike did say it was withdrawn, and Ace just needed to get through it. It would get better. And Ace didn't feel like that, but some days later, he felt better. And it lasted for about 3 days, before he felt worse again. It took about 2 weeks, but he soon was let go, being let back out in the world. Eldritch was still pretty bad and going through withdrawal. But Ace felt like himself again. He didn't see Eldritch for a while after that. Next time he saw him, it was for an intervention as he was off his rockers again. It was like last time, he needed to go to Mike. But as Eldritch refused, Daisuke said it was either to go to Mike, or never be welcomed back on the base. Eldritch still chose the drugs, and was therefore exiled from the base. He tried to come back a couple times, but was taken away each time, he wasn't welcomed there. It was harsh, but Ace got it. They shouldn't be working while drugged. Even though Ace had done it himself now and then. But it had gone bad, Ace was a danger to himself and others when he was on drugs and working.
After that, it only took a month, before the news that Eldritch was dead reached them, having overdosed on some drug. Ace wasn't surprised, Eldritch really had an issue. After that, Ace was on drugs now and then, just taking the occasional drug to feel great a day. It was one more time the next few years Ace got to a bad point with the drugs, but when someone noticed, after a botched assignment because Ace was on drugs, he had messed it up and almost got Trevor killed. He was sent to Mike again, to sober up, and he felt just as bad as the first time, maybe even worse. It lasted longer than the other time, one week more, and Ace felt like he wanted to die. But Mike was a great help and got him through it. Ace could just disappear and get more drugs, but he really wanted to get sobered up. He got that he was at a bad place, and hadn't Daisuke been with them on the assignment, Trevor would have been dead. He didn't want to have his death on his shoulders, he really liked Trevor.
When he felt good again, Ace was let back to work. After it, he only took a drug now and then, trying to not get addicted. He didn't want to go through withdrawal again. Then he joined the pirates, and things felt great, even more so when he got together with Marco. He hoped he wouldn't go down that path again, but he could only hope. And he managed for a while before things started to get too tough, and he didn't know what to do with himself, so he did what he did at times, turned to drugs. But it was all fine now. He had overdosed, but he had survived, and he was glad he had.
