Better Than I (Joesph: King of Dreams)
Featuring: Instruments (Luna, Sam, Sully, Mazzy)
Vocals - Lincoln Loud (Joseph)
Location: Loud-Verse Earth-LMP1 (Prime Loud Music Parody World, my HC), Royal Woods Theater/Studio
AN: It's Good Friday of the Pesach/Passover Week, and we're using a song from the Dreamworks Movie, "Joseph - King of Dreams". This is a prequel from "Prince of Egypt", which is the biblical story of Joseph, son of Jacob/Israel. The story of being a specially favored child from a family of multiple siblings which caused envy and rivalry. This lead for Joseph's predicament that made him slave to Egypt. But his gifts were not wasted as he excels even as a slave and this gift promoted him as Pharaoh's secretary/second-in-command. It's a beautifully made story of envy, diversity in capabilities, betrayal, trials and success, and of course; forgiveness and letting go. This song is one with a very good lesson of humility and faith. Without further ado, leave a like, review/request, follow and I hope you enjoy. God Bless, Stay Safe and Peace/Shalom!
-Music Start: Piano Intro-
[VERSE 1 LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
I thought I did what's right
I thought I had the answers
I thought I chose the surest road
But that road brought me here
[VERSE 2 LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
So I put up a fight
And told you how to help me
Now just when I have given up
The truth is coming clear
[CHORUS LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
For you know better than I
[VERSE 3 LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
If this has been a test
I cannot see the reason
But maybe knowing I don't know
Is part of getting through
[VERSE 4 LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
I try to do what's best
And faith has made it easy
To see the best thing I can do
Is put my trust in you
[CHORUS LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
For you know better than I
[BRIDGE LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
I saw one cloud and thought it was a sky
I saw a bird and thought that I could follow
But it was you who taught that bird to fly
If I let you reach me will you teach me
[OUTRO CHORUS LINCOLN: JOSEPH]
For You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
I'll take what answers you supply
You know better than I
-Piano Outro until Music End-
Let us take a silent and solemn moment in this day. The Good Friday of the Passover Week. The day when Moses had freed the Israelite slave from the oppression of Egypt with God's powers and wonders. And also a day that the Lamb of God had been sacrificed for the sake of all mankind. That we may remember his benevolent gift for us. Humble ourselves and know that we are no better over the others. Be inspired by the meaning of this song.
The Louds will have no lines to say for they are taking this solemn day for meditation, prayer and contemplation.
-END: Holy Week Special continues until Holy Saturday to Easter Sunday Afternoon-
AN: We're nearing the end of the Pesach/Passover Week, everyone. Truly, it is a day worth remembering. I sometimes wonder if humility and learning is still valued in today's lifetime? And since the pandemic crisis hasn't officially end, I wonder if anyone is physically or mentally healthy right now? Yes, there are countermeasures like vaccines and healthful diet but the fact that the problem still stands despite this passing months of the year, it's really a miracle that we're surviving. Please pray for the unfortunate ones as well, that they may recover from their grievances and afflictions. Afterall, this is a week of healing, of reconciliation and forgiveness, a week of goodwill and benevolence.

Whatever Roads at Your Feet/More Than You Take
Saturday will be a break from all these because, it is the next day after the Crucifixion/Stations of the Cross so I will not submit anything on that day. Philippine time is different from others so the day might be different from others. The last song will be held on the Sunday afternoon in my timezone.
Once again, Thanks you, leave a like, review/request, follow and I hope you enjoy. God Bless, Stay Safe and Peace/Shalom!
