Olivia cuddled with Fitz on the sofa. They were officially married. Their wedding was nothing spectacular. A simple ceremony with only Maya and Isla as their guests. Bernadette was still mad at Olivia, but she agreed to keep Amelia and Karen so Olivia and Fitz could have a honeymoon. When Olivia and Fitz unpacked the moving truck, the nannies were trying to calm the babies. Amelia and Sophia were upstairs in the playroom with Olivia's Prada purses. Olivia was furious when she saw the artwork on her leather purses. "We wanted to make your purses really pretty." Sophia said. Bernadette apologized and wrote Olivia a check. Olivia wouldn't take the money. Instead, she said that Bernadette wouldn't owe her anything if she kept Amelia and Karen for a few days.
"Do you want to go to Vermont?"
Fitz had been trying to get back to Vermont since their last vacation there. They still hadn't found time to purchase rental properties.
"I'm thinking about going back to graduate school next year."
"Really Livvie? You dropped out a few months ago. Now you want to go back?"
"You haven't dropped out. I don't know how you balance your classes and work."
"I probably would quit if I was starting my degree now."
"I want to be more than a dumb actress."
"You are not dumb. You can always get another teaching job when you get tired of LA."
"It's like I'm not a real person anymore. I thought I would be more excited about being invited to award shows, but I'm not looking forward to it. I hate the hours it takes to transform into my character. All the makeup and the damn rollers every week. Counting every calorie. The meetings with my manager and agent."
"Your social circle has celebrities."
"That's nothing to brag about. They're like regular people."
"You know what Livvie. I still want my dream job."
"Go for it."
Fitz laughed, "It's highly unlikely that I can be an astronaut."
"If I can be an actress on a popular TV show, you can be an astronaut. Do you know the odds of me getting that role? I didn't have any acting experience, and now I'm in magazines. I think the space industry has less competition."
"What about our kids? How are you going to have your acting career while I'm on the international space station?"
Fitz couldn't ask the question without laughing. He really wanted to be an astronaut, but it was a farfetched dream. They had Amelia and Karen, and they didn't plan on having anymore kids anytime soon. He didn't want to spend his life wishing he had followed his dream of exploring the universe.
"Your dream can come true. Both of mine came true."
Fitz kissed Olivia's forehead, "It all started with a dream."
"We're still in the beginning." Olivia said.
