Loreile needed to lay down with the stress of now Phineas adopted parents being shot. Even though as it had turned out had to be Russian sleepers of all things.
While Fornell and Gibbs were talking she told them that she was heading upstairs to rest.
"Are you alright Loriele?" Gibbs asks his wife about the importance of the question.
"Just tired mostly. Tobias good luck with your investigation. No doubt NCIS, and the Metro police are going to get in your way?" she responded with the basic truth.
"It's going to make me really pissed off just like Jethro for when he blows off steam," Tobias said with finishing the last of his Chinese food and Budweiser beer bottle.
"You want another one Tobias?" Gibbs will say to his friend while watching his wife head up the stairs.
"Sure Butch! by the way, she's angry at you for something and I can guess it has something to do with Shannon and Kelly?" Tobias said to his friend heading for the fridge to take out two new bottles of Budweiser beer.
"How did you guest Tobias?" Gibbs quipped with his demeanor.
"She's a jealous woman since Shannon has come back into your life Butch! And if you don't do anything about it you're going to be losing a wonderful woman that loves you a great deal?" he said with his tone with emotion.
"I have tried talking to her. I tell Shannon as well that I love my wife a great deal. Even though I am only giving her emotional support in order for her to get through the procedure, Tobias. She plans on going back to California in order to live a new life with her husband Alex. The past year almost had destroyed their ten-year marriage." he exhaled with taking a large gulp of the beer.
After talking a few more moments. Tobias was getting ready to head back home with Emily at a meeting with her group. Not knowing what was going to happen in a few weeks. "Jethro please take care of yourself right now and spend some time with Loreile in order to make her feel like a woman that is needed for the most part," Tobias commented with his face brightening.
"I will try Tobias. I can't afford to lose her as I did with Shannon a long time ago." he cried out.
Walking out his friend to the porch and sidewalk by his car. Gibbs looked over at Phineas's house. "Look across the street at Phineas house?" Gibbs's heart was racing with calling NCIS.
"Hang up there is no time?" Tobias said by pulling out his revolver from his coat jacket. Loriele was looking out the window from the bedroom when she saw the two. She ran to the nursery with Madeline laying down with the boys asleep.
"What's wrong?" she said with her getting up from the bunk.
"Something's wrong across the street at Phin's house the lights are on?" she told her in her ear.
She didn't bother dressing except for the sweatpants and heading for the bedroom for where she sleeps to grab her weapon as well. "I want you to stay here for now until we find out what is going on?" Madeline ordered heading out running downstairs with just a light jacket on her.
She was shaking like a leaf already getting a bad feeling about this.
iNSIDE THE HOUSE
Gibbs and Tobias were heading upstairs for where they think the pert might be hiding searching for further information on Gibbs and Phineas.
Tobias was told to break off to the right for where the bathroom, closets, and leading into the attic with bringing down steps in order to reach it.
Gibbs was following down the small hallway when all of a sudden fire went off with three shots as he's hit in the god damn leg as he falls to the ground crying out for Tobias.
But instead, it was Madeline firing her weapon towards where she saw the muzzle fire of the weapon. But she wasn't able to hit a thing. Meanwhile, Tobias was trying to get Gibbs out of the line of fire. But instead, he was hit again into his right shoulder with Tobias and Madeline firing back to finally hit the shooter three times dropping to the floor.
While they went to work with calling 911, police, NCIS, and his wife.
Madeline found the towels in order to help Gibbs with the bleeding with his right leg and right shoulder. He was semi conscience right now as both of them were concerned with the amount of blood he was losing.
Loreile was standing on the front porch of the house when her cell went off showing it was Madeline. She felt her heart skipped a beat along with her nerves. "What the hell happened?" she asked directly.
"We called for an ambulance. The shooter caught Gibbs by surprised Loriele hitting him in the right leg and right shoulder. He's out cold while we have tied off the leg with towels as with his shoulder. I will come back so that you can go in the ambulance when it arrives." She said with anger in her general demeanor.
"Fine I will get myself ready," she said before ending the call to head inside with needing to get dressed quickly and taking along any items she will need for the next few days. One thing she did need her purse with the I.D., BADGE, MONEY, CARDS, and most of all the revolver she has in her possession.
Madeline arrived with blood on her needing to change quickly. "Any orders?" she asked with a shaky voice.
"Yeah! Please take care of everyone and let Phin know the truth. Otherwise, just tell Shane and Nathan that their father is working away from them for some time."
"Okay, Loreile. Doctor Taft and the others working will be able to save Jethro?" Madeline cried out as Loriele was ready to leave with hearing the ambulance, police and even a firetruck.
