When the start of the next moon arrives, You rise to your feet and move in the direction of the cardinals' room, suspecting that You already know what the meeting to come is bound to discuss. Seraphine speaks to You along the way.

Seraphine: I wonder how this is going to turn out… I know that we're marching in the direction of House Goneril, but I already have a bad feeling about it. I wish I could tell you why, but… Oh, I suppose that it doesn't matter quite yet. We'll figure out more about what's going on soon enough.

You remark on how stern Magnolia was the previous moon when she said to not get too close to Goneril territory.

Seraphine: Seems to me like we're dealing with a bit more than we realized… We'll just have to be ready for whatever they want to throw at us as soon as we cross over that boundary.

You arrive at the cardinals' room soon after as Seraphine stops speaking to You. As expected, the Blue Lions are already gathered inside.

Magnolia: Alright then. Our mission for this moon is going to have us partnering up with the current leader of the Leicester Alliance. Raithius said that we would be alright with us collaborating as we charged in the direction of Goneril territory.

Reese: We weren't exactly equipped to move in their direction last time, but that's all about to change. We're going to know what we have to do before we leave the monastery.

Falon: I've heard that House Goneril is one of the most powerful houses in all of Faerghus… They're very elite, if the Leicester counterpart is anything to go off.

Aestlyn: That's one way of putting it… I believe that they're involved with many shady dealings beneath the surface. It's all rumors, but… It isn't looking good for them.

Illona: It's dangerous to cross any lines as far as House Goneril is involved with what you're trying to do. We'll have to be ready before we get anywhere close to the border.

Karim: In that case, it sounds to me like we've already got an idea of what we're going to do… But we can't afford to slack off quite yet.

Luciana: Exactly. You should all prepare yourselves as much as possible before we go, but that's about all there is to say about the coming mission. You should simply be aware of what the plan is… As for other matters, we've heard some interesting information from the Empire.

Kyle: I think I know what you're talking about already… The rebellion forces have the capital under occupation now. That wasn't the case before we set out for the previous mission, but… The emperor is dead as far as I'm aware.

Nora: That sure was fast… All it took was a single battle for the tides to turn, and it seems like the Empire is in different hands now.

Cassia: Even now though, we still have no ideas as to who the one behind the resistance could be… It's certainly a conundrum.

Magnolia: We'll look into it when we get the chance, but for the time being, I think that we should all get ready for the coming mission. If any new information reaches us, then I'll be sure to pass it on. Consider this meeting over. You're all dismissed.

You leave behind the cardinals' room along with the rest of the Blue Lions, and You speak with Seraphine on the way back to your room.

Seraphine: The Empire is in the hands of the resistance… I don't know how I'm meant to respond to something like that, but I suppose that it's a good thing. I wish that we knew about who the ones responsible for the change of power are though. All we can do for the time being is wait it out, I'm afraid… We'll hear about it when we're meant to. Let's do our rounds of the monastery in the meantime.

You nod your agreement as You arrive back at your room. You begin your exploration of the monastery soon afterwards. You start by heading in the direction of the Officers Academy. There, You find Sofia.

Sofia: Leicester is almost finished being taken back… It sounds to me like Raithius just has a few other things to take care of. Look at him, still pulling off miracles… I really don't know why I expected anything less. His assistance is going to do us all a world of good, I'm sure.

You also find Adeline, though she is in the Golden Deer classroom as opposed to the courtyard.

Adeline: It still doesn't feel right to think about how my parents are gone… And I helped to defeat them… It's just a weird feeling, I suppose. I never thought I would be capable of something like that. I just… I need a bit of time to think it through, I guess. I'll be fine soon enough.

You make your way to the training hall next. There, You find Yuliya.

Yuliya: House Goneril… I have a bad feeling about us going there, you know. Something about it just bugs me. There's something fishy going on there as far as I can tell. There's a reason that nobody wants to head in that direction. I just hope we can get out of there alive…

Also find Miriam there.

Miriam: If House Goneril's troops had caught us during the previous mission, we would have been in a world of trouble… At least we managed to escape. We'll be charging back into the eye of the storm this moon, but I think that we'll be ready for it. We had better be.

Outside the training hall, You cross paths with Rodain.

Rodain: House Goneril has supported the attacks in Albinea for as long as anyone can remember. They're already one of the strongest houses in Faerghus and Leicester, but they decided to charge on regardless. It seems particularly selfish, if you ask me. They have so much, so why as for more?

You move to the lower floor of dorms. You find Florence standing in the area.

Florence: I can't believe that the Empire was taken in its entirety while we were distracted with our own mission… It just seems like something out of a story, you know? All it took was a single battle, and everything's changed for better or worse. We'll simply have to see where it goes from here.

You also cross paths with Nora there.

Nora: We shouldn't have to worry about any other infiltrations taking place on the border from here on out. The Alliance and Empire respectively should have taken care of any lingering issues. That means we can concentrate on simply charging ahead. It certainly works out in our favor, wouldn't you say?

You move to the second floor of dorms. There, You encounter Cassia.

Cassia: My home territory has remained allied with Magnolia throughout this entire conflict… It wouldn't surprise me if they had to be taken care of after the war ended. No matter how nicely they behave for now, it will end in betrayal. That's how things have always functioned, and I doubt that will ever change.

You also find Aestlyn in the area.

Aestlyn: I've heard nothing but bad things about House Goneril… They're focused on seeming as strong as possible, but if you listen closely enough, you'll hear about what goes on behind the scenes. I can see why Novalee would want to join us for this fight… She certainly has a personal stake in it.

You walk towards the greenhouse. Inside, You find Niko.

Niko: The Empire truly has shifted hands once again… Three rulers in less than six years, huh? Nothing like this has ever happened before… Oh, well. We'll find a way to make it all work out. That's what we've always done, and we're going to be fine again in the future, I'm sure.

You find Adrian standing outside the greenhouse.

Adrian: So much has changed so quickly in the past few moons… I'm not objecting to it in the slightest though. Getting aid from the Alliance will certainly help us to end this conflict sooner. Perhaps we'll even gain the aid of the Knights of Seiros along the way. That would help out even more.

You make your way to the fishing hall next. You cross paths with Karim there.

Karim: House Goneril is… If I had to pick a word, it would be 'unpleasant'. The same lady has been ruling over the area for a long time, and I'm not exactly a huge fan of her for understandable reasons. You can't ever relax around Josephine Goneril… She's always planning something. You have to watch your back if you want to escape her grasp alive.

You also find Hegias in the area.

Hegias: I don't know what to say about the recent events that have transpired in the Empire. No matter how much I try to tell myself that everything is over, it doesn't seem to click. I suppose that it comes with the territory given how long this war has lasted… At least it'll all be over soon on our front too…

Finally, You cross paths with Taiyin.

Taiyin: I can't stop wondering about who the leader of Malice could possibly be. It seems like at least a few of the high-ranking commanders have been taken care of along the way, but there are all sorts of questions regarding the one behind the Faerghus attacks… I hope it doesn't lead to anything too catastrophic…

You make your way towards the dining hall next. There, You find Luciana.

Luciana: I've been doing my best to try and determine who the culprit of the attacks within Faerghus could be, but I'm afraid that I'm still lacking in the information needed to find critical answers. No matter how much searching we do, it seems as if we always come up short… Hm…

You also find Callisto in the area.

Callisto: Finally, the Empire is free! Maybe we'll finally have matters handled by somebody who understands basic empathy! I wasn't ever a fan of Chris' father, and I didn't like the previous emperor either. I guess that it was about time for everything to change, and I'm completely fine with that.

Finally, You cross paths with Wynne in the dining hall.

Wynne: I'm so glad that we managed to get away from House Goneril without being attacked! At least, I would say that if not for the fact that we're going right back in again this moon… At least we won't be walking on eggshells since we're charging in without hesitation…

You make your way to the marketplace next. You find Kyle there.

Kyle: I'm looking forward to reuniting with the troops of Leicester. I'm sure that they've been involved with many important matters since we last saw them. It's a shame that they couldn't come back with us after the last moon… That certainly would have been a treat on all fronts, wouldn't you say?

You also find William nearby.

William: I'm excited at the idea of us seeing Novalee and Raithius again. They really showed what they're capable of during the previous battle, and I'm expecting that they'll make it much easier for us to win this war. We can always use a few extra hands on the battlefield, after all.

Finally, You see Nesreen in the marketplace.

Nesreen: As far as I can tell, the search for Lady Aisa has been continuing. It's gotten so intense that the Knights of Seiros haven't even been able to spare a moment to send a message here. That's a good sign as far as I can tell. They're getting closer to reaching their goal, and so are we.

You make your way to the stables. You find Lev standing alone there.

Lev: It still doesn't feel real to think that the war is about to end… You know, after we take care of a few lingering things. Leicester and Adrestia are already free, so we just need to join them. I'm looking forward to the day we all enjoy peace once again… I'm sure it'll be incredible.

Your next destination is the entrance hall. Inside, You find Derric.

Derric: The recent tidal wave of events has been somewhat exhausting to endure, I must admit. At least it seems as if everything is about to pay off in our favor. All it will take is a few more battles… The end is finally in sight. Maybe we'll be able to return to stability again at long last… I'm sure hoping so.

You also find Aquillus there.

Aquillus: My parents have fallen in the invasion of the Empire. That much I can say conclusively, not that I feel much sympathy towards them. I believe that they know what they were getting into when they decided to sign up for the wrong side… I believe that the resistance did the right thing by defeating them.

You move towards the reception hall. You find Falon standing alone there.

Falon: House Goneril… That's where my father came from, you know. No matter how many times we tried to reach out to them, our pleas were never answered. I don't know how they could just ignore us for so long, but… It was incredibly difficult for us to deal with. It's not exactly the most pleasant of places, to say the least.

You make your way in the direction of the knights' hall. There, You find Piers.

Piers: You know, I was wondering why the leaders of House Admoderor went towards Faerghus instead of simply booking it towards the Almyran border. It makes sense that the Leicester troops blocked it off before they got the chance. After all, Almyra is far closer to them than Faerghus, and that's an understatement if you ask me.

You move in the direction of the cathedral. On the bridge there, You find Zelhira.

Zelhira: My father says that there's a chance the resistance will be moving in the direction of the monastery to offer us aid soon. Of course, no conclusive decisions have been made yet, but it's something that's being considered. That would be helpful, and it would give us the chance to learn who this mystery leader is…

You find Cedric inside of the cathedral itself.

Cedric: I've been praying to the goddess for the end of the war when the chance arises. It helps me to feel better about our daily struggles… It seems to me that she's finally started answering my pleas, and I'm beyond excited… It's been too long since we last had the chance to breathe easy…

You also meet Wolfgang there.

Wolfgang: One of my informants is supposed to be meeting up with Raithius and Novalee soon. Her name is Calypso. I don't know what I would do without her help… She'll be on our side in the moons to come as far as I can tell. That's a good thing for sure. Her skills with white magic are incredible.

You make your way to Abyss next. There, You find Gabriel standing near the entrance.

Gabriel: If you want my opinion, I'd say that Eli and Quinn are going to be back here any day now. Everyone in Abyss has been missing them whether they've admitted it or not, and we're going to welcome them back with open arms. It's been too long since we last saw them as far as I'm concerned.

Inside of the library, You see Ernst.

Ernst: My curiosity regarding the leader of Faerghus' branch of Malice never seems to relax itself… The nagging sensation doesn't want to go away, and it's incredibly frustrating, to say the least. I simply wish that we knew who specifically we were dealing with in the coming fight…

You also find Saias there.

Saias: I've heard all sorts of awful things about House Goneril in the past. It's not the sort of place that we should be messing with, but I guess that we don't have much of a choice in the matter… We'll just have to give it our all and hope that it doesn't come crashing down miserably around us. Here's to hoping for that then!

You see Tsubasa in the Wilting Rose Inn.

Tsubasa: Goneril territory isn't a place that you want to find yourself. Even before their alliance with Malice, there were all kinds of awful rumors about the leader of the house. We'll have to be careful when we move in that direction. There's no way of saying for sure what's going to be waiting for us there.

Next, You find Ansel on Chrysalis Row.

Ansel: Eli and Quinn are finally heading back here! It's been too long since any of us saw them. At least it's good to know that they're still alright and alive. With the war going on, it's so easy to get caught up in trouble, but they're alright, and that's what matters most to me.

You move to the second floor of the monastery. You see Kaeta in the audience chamber.

Kaeta: I keep coming up here because I'm thinking about what it'll be like to have Lady Aisa back here where she belongs. I've been waiting for so long to see her again, and she might wind up right back where she belongs. I wonder why she's been gone, but… I think I'm too relieved at the idea to ask openly. Oh, well. It doesn't matter now.

You climb the stairs to the third floor next. You see Tuncay standing in Aisa's room.

Tuncay: I heard that this place was still squeaky clean, but it's impressive how everything is alright here, you know? After the place was occupied by bandits for so long, I thought the place would have been destroyed. Maybe people were too afraid to come up here because of the archbishop's supposed death. Maybe they thought they were going to be haunted. Oh, that sure is an interesting thought…

You find Illona standing alone in the garden at the top of the monastery.

Illona: You know, finding out who the leader of Malice is in the Faerghus territory is easier said than done. At least we had a clear idea from the start about what the Empire was facing… I guess we'll have to figure it out sooner or later. The truth will come out when the time is right… I hope.

You make your way back to the second floor, and You find Herwig in his room.

Herwig: The battle in Adrestia turned on its head rather quickly, I have to say. The resistance force is far stronger than I had anticipated. I do have to wonder who's in control of the territory now though… We still don't have a name after all this time… A bit suspicious, wouldn't you say?

You also find Reese sitting in his office.

Reese: I'm not particularly fond of the idea that comes with storming Goneril territory… Some say it's even more hostile than the land I come from. I'm going to get as ready as possible so that nothing bad can happen while we're there. I don't want anybody to die when we're so close to victory.

Finally, You see Jill in her room.

Jill: It'll be nice to see Raithius again after all this time. It sounds to me like he and Novalee have been busy, and they must have had quite a bit to take care of if they ran off so soon after the last fight… Oh, well. We'll see what they're up to soon enough. I'm sure they'll tell us with as many details as we ask for. That certainly sounds like Raithius.

Inside of the library, You cross paths with Magnus.

Magnus: Everyone is so excited to hear that Eli and Quinn are coming back soon… It's about time, if you ask me. They've been away for ages, and they should have come back ages ago. I just hope that they accomplished whatever it was that drew them away in the first place… They've been away for so long.

Last but not least, You make your way to the cardinals' room. There, You find Magnolia hard at work as usual.

Magnolia: Raithius and Novalee will be a huge help to us in the coming moon. If we can charge at the Goneril estate from two sides, our chances of success increase dramatically… All we have to do is hope that nothing happens between then and now to hurt our odds of victory. We'll all have to be as careful as possible.

With your sweep of the monastery completed, You head back to your room, and Seraphine speaks to You along the way.

Seraphine: I wonder what will even be left after we defeat House Goneril… We'll just need to find the leader of Malice and stop them, right? I hope that we'll be able to take care of that sooner rather than later. It feels like we're so close to being free, and You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to it… Still, I guess all we can do for now is crash. See you in the morning.

You fall asleep soon afterwards, and You find yourself smiling at the idea that You will be able to defeat House Goneril soon. From there, the end of the war will be but a few steps away. You wonder what the world ahead has in store for You, and You make a silent promise to ensure that the happiness that You have worked so hard to procure remains within your grasp for many years yet to come…
