A calm, and enjoyable bonding moment for both Mara Mayberry and her newly adopted daughter, Luan, but will someone try and intervene and bring harm to them as they spend some time together? Who knows, also Luan might run into some old friends. Enjoy reading this folks!
Helluva Loud Adventures.
(Mayberry Residence, Franklin Avenue.)
April 4 and someone awakens from her sleep, and that someone is Luan… Mayberry. The 15-year old looks around and she sees that the time is now pass 6 in the morning. She then smiles and looks around her room.
This room is bigger than her room back when she was part of The Loud Family, with the walls colored in white with pink stripes, the bed is a pink blanket with white pillows and the curtains are also pink with some yellow heart patterns. She has a lot of stuff a teenager like her would like.
Her closet is a walk-in closet, and she has her own cellphone now, alongside a lot of clothes that would suit her, she decides not to don the clothing she wore before, it brings back too many memories and on her nightstand is the photo of her younger-self along with the words written on it saying.
"You are not a pranking monster, you are Luan, and you have changed."
She then sees another photo next to it, a photo of herself with those she spent an amazing day recently, the photo of her 15th birthday, and her return to Royal Woods, and next to that photo is one of Luan and her new mother, the sinner who was cleared of her redemption, Mara Mayberry.
Luan smiles and she gets out of bed and is wearing yellow non-plaid pajamas along with pink bunny slippers. She then looks to the calendar and sees the date, and what comes tomorrow.
'Well, Luan. Looks like tomorrow is the day where… the day for me to go back to school. I hope things won't turn bad for me when I get there, I have changed and I'm trying to figure out what can I do with this pranking side still lingering within me, as if I need to give that part of me a purpose, and not laughing at others torture.'
Luan then gets her clothes ready for the day, and then she goes to the bathroom and she smiles knowing that unlike the old life she had, this bathroom has no line and thank the fucking god!
(Later.)
Luan walks out of her room and goes down the stairs, she sees a few pics of nature and other peaceful things along the halls and the walls of the staircase and she walls by the large open door-way that leads to the living room and she makes it into that place to get to the next door.
Luan walks through that door and she's now in the kitchen and she smiles when she sees her mom, Mara Mayberry and she's done making pancakes.
The sinner looks to Luan and smiles. "Good Morning, sweetie. You doing okay?"
Luan nods. "I am, and good morning to you too, mom." Luan goes over and hugs her. Mara Mayberry smiles and she returns the hug. "Thanks again, for letting me be part of this small family you wanted."
Mayberry smiles and she hugs her back. "I did this to help both of us, we both need to try and regain or gain the love to that of a family, we both had a past we miss and we miss them a lot."
They then depart from the hug and then they eat breakfast. "So, here's what you should know." Mayberry then hands her the schedule of her classes. "Since you passed most of your exams during your time in the mental hospital, you have the finals to deal with which are this May."
"Also, I may have signed you up on some summer classes, since you have a lot to cover up from the recent times when you didn't have class, I hope this is alright with you, Luan."
Luan smiles. "It's okay, I know that things have been rather hard for me when I was taking the classes at the mental place, and this could help improve my education and I'll take the summer classes, it's for the best."
Mara smiles. "That's my girl, but we can get to that when the time does come, as of right now we're gonna be spending time together and I don't mean getting cooped up in here. We're gonna head out and have some fun, you and me. What do you say?"
Luan feels uncertain about this, but then she smiles. "Yeah, I'd like that."
(Later.)
After some breakfast, the duo head out of the house and into Mara's car, which is a top down brown corvette. "You wouldn't believe how hard it was for me to try and get a license for driving one of these, but I still got a bike from hell and in the garage."
Luan smiles. "Wow. Would love to go on a ride with you on that chopper one day, but that can wait too. Also, this is a nice car."
Mara smiles. "Thanks, this may not have been the same car I once drove when I was still human, but this'll do, also the bonding we're gonna have is to help show the folks of Royal Woods that you're not the same old Luan who might bring harm, to show them that you have changed."
Luan nods. "Yeah, the other day I recall that Lincoln informed the rest of Royal Woods, that I would be coming back, and changed. Some might see to it as a good thing, but others might still be fearful of me and I can't blame them. I did so much damage to folks when I was a pranking monster."
Mara goes over to her. "But you're not, not anymore. Now come on, let's ride into town and show them the new and improved, Luan Mayberry."
Luan liked the sound of that and she hops into the passenger's seat next to her mom and they drive off, Mr. Grouse waves to them and then goes back to his mailbox and he grumbles.
"Why can't those folks at Sunset Canyon stop giving me this stuff? I am not moving into that retirement home."

Mara and Luan first make their stop to the local clothing store in town, though the staff are weary about the presence of Luan, they can see how much she's changed and how much fun she as having shopping with the local sinner resident who adopted her.
They arrive at a book store, and some of the folks are surprised to see Luan there, and she doesn't go to the comedy area of the place and goes for educational books and some literature and writing. She even helps a little girl reach for a book she wants to read.
While there, Luan also picks out some stuff she could use for her classes, and then she spots a flier of the Royal Woods Theater looking for someone who could help make scripts and this gives her an idea.
They go to a flower store, and they check out the local flora they have on sale and Mara picks out some that would go well with her garden and even asks if what she ordered has arrived, while Luan smiles at the sight of multicolored flowers coming together and reminds her of her old family.
They're next stop is the Burnt Bean and there they enjoy some nice food and even listen to the local poetry stuff on stage, and Luan recognizes Maggie, and the Emo teen recognizes her too and just smiles, she knows Luan has changed, and they are unaware that Alastor is there as well, enjoying the café.
They're last stop for this montage is the Grocery Store, though they don't get much, just some snacks and other products and they even run into Blitzo, and even some teens from High School notice Luan, helping Mara Mayberry and not making jokes and something funny there.

We now go to Ketcham Park, and here is where Mara and Luan are spending some alone time together as they walk around the place.
"Well, this has been a very interesting day and I kinda liked it" said Luan. "Was kinda awkward seeing some old friends I once knew, but judging by their smiles, I say that they can see how much the old Luan is gone and the new Luan is in."
Mara smiles. "Which means word of this will go to the High School and chances the teens there will trust you, and don't forget that you have two friends there who are gonna have your back."
Luan knows that Leni and Leni are there too, and also some friends from Leni and Luna will be there to probably have her back, and she is worried about Lori. 'When is Lori going back to school?'
"You! You inconceivable wretched fool!" The duo then spot this man, a priest and this priest is someone Ms. Mayberry knows.
"Ah, shit. Not this retard again. Luan, stay behind me."
The man is Alfred Goodman, again and he's back to deal with the demons, again. This guy needs to be dealt with before he does something stupid.
"You there! What is this teenager doing with you? Why is she alongside you and why aren't you burning in hell?!"
Mara Mayberry growls. "Looks like someone didn't read the papers, I am now a citizens of Royal Woods, and I have been redeemed of my sins in the Hazbin Hotel, but I choose where I wanna continue with my life and it certainly isn't going up into the sky."
"Also, this girl is with me, I legally adopted her. So, you better get the hell away from us, now!"
But the priest seemed determined not to leave. "Impudent wretched heathen, this child is of earth, the world god made and you do not have any rights to claim her as your own, you have perished and thus you must remain perished!" He then pulls out a crucifix, but it's sharp in the end.
"Today, I shall cleanse you vile creature and return you back into the shadow, from where you belong!" He charges at them, but Mara and Luan step to the side and she uses her tail to make him trip and land onto the pavement face first.
The folks in the park notice this, some of them call the cops, most call the priest of the town, and then there's Giggles and Zach, and they both contact Lincoln.
Mara and Luan back up as he gets up. "Father Goodman, leave us alone. We're just trying to spend a family moment, with little to know trouble at all and you are that trouble."
The priest then sees blood coming from the cut on his cheek, and he looks to Mayberry and he readies the sharp crucifix. "You shall be sent back to the fiery pits of hell, and there you shall be punished for all of eternity, there can be no heaven and no redemption for demons like you!"
He charges at her again, and as they step to the side, Mara is cut to her right arm and she sees some of her blood coming from it. "Okay, that fucking hurt!"
Mara uses her tail and she grabs the man and then tosses him onto the open field, and there some of the teens toss some stuff at the man. "Leave them alone!" yelled Sully and Mazzy.
The priest gets up and sees them attacking him. "Fools! Hooligans! Heathens! You have all fallen into the dark influence of these heartless wretches!"
Mara then grabs him again and she tosses him onto the bench and he falls to the ground. "You're the one making dark choices onto others who are minding their own god damn business, At this point, I feel like trusting a priest is a mistake, just as I once trusted one when I was still alive and teaching."
"Then you shall die!" The priest tries to go after her again, but then he's hit in the face by a pie. "What the heck?!"
Luan grabbed the pie from the trash, she then grabs a broken jack-in-the-box and she places a rock and a glove on it and she points it to the priest and it send the hard rock gloved object and the man is hit to his gut.
Luan then tosses a banana peel behind the priest and he slips and falls onto his back, then Luan grabs a carton of rotten eggs and she throws it at the man and he gets up and screams from the disgusting smell.
"You are a corrupted child and I shall cleanse you from this madness!" He then tosses the crucifix and it's headed for Luan, but Mara gets in the way and she readies to get hit.
But someone, grabs it and they all see who it is. "Now, now. We don't want any bloodshed in this nice park now, do we? Because that would be rude and not so gentleman-like for a man of such devotion to the big guy in the high chair above."
Alastor, the Radio Demon is there.
Father Goodman is horrified at the sight of Alastor. "Monster! Wretch! Heathen! Overlord! You, you cannot be here! This is forbidden!"
Alastor chuckles. "My good man, forbidden is something I would inflict onto those who I deem…. Not worth my mercy." Alastor is about to go true demon on this son of a bitch, but then he stops. "But, the locals will deal with you."
The man is then handcuffed by Officer Schoffner. "Yeah, the Hazeltucky cops will make sure you get dealt with, now move along dirt bag."
They then push the priest to the cop cars. "How dare you?! Release me! Let me go! I am not done with those heathens, they must be sent back to hell…" They put him into the squad car and close the door in front of his faced and he falls back.
Officer Schoffner sighs. "The hell is wrong with this guy?" She then looks to Luan and Mayberry. "Good job keeping him from doing any more harm."
"We weren't gonna let him separate us or do something dark" said Mara Mayberry.
"That man… He's lost it, he's as crazy as most of the folks I saw at the mental hospital" said Luan.
Officer Schoffner nods. "Kid, this guy is way beyond crazy and is more of an occult thing." She then looks towards Alastor. "And, thanks for stopping the damage from being made worse."
Alastor nods. "I wasn't going to let that twisted man into trying to bring far more harm, I would find that entertaining, but the demented look of one day to torture him will be all I need. So, best keep him locked up at wherever he came from, before he gets taken down for good."
Officer Schoffner nods and she goes into her car, and she's followed by the car of Father Chisel to also speak of this near attempted murder.
Alastor then looks to Mara and Luan and grins. "Try not to get into trouble next time." He then walks away, and he hums as he does so.
Luan and Mara are glad this was dealt with. "Luan! Ms. Mayberry!" Te duo spot Lincoln and Luna go to them. "We got the call from Zach, are you guys okay?" asked Lincoln.
Luan nods. "Yeah, that man er, priest was going to hurt us but we managed to stop him, with the help from that smiling demon over there."
Lincoln and Luna notice Alastor and sigh in relief, at least he as at the right time and the right place to help them out before it got worse.
Luan and Mara hug each other, both happy at the whole thing being done, then Lincoln has some thoughts about this whole thing. 'Still, I have a bad feeling that Father Goodman might still be the man responsible for the capture of the McBride's, and yet we have no proof.'
Lincoln isn't the only one. Even Luna was getting concerns and also pissed off. 'That priest, he's lost his mind and now he wants to hurt others?! If that mother fucking asshole is responsible for the kidnapping of the McBride's , then that proves his hate for those who are in the same sex love life, and if so, then he us fucking dead to me!'
That part will linger and when the time comes, then they'll figure it all out and make sure that priest never comes back, but for now they should be glad Luan and Mayberry are fine.
