Chapter 201
.
Frank Castle's prediction about being tortured soon came to pass. His torturers seemed to be using the opportunity to relieve their own frustrations about being stuck in Hell. Frank was brought back to his cell after his torturers got tired.
.
Billy: How'd it go Frank?
Frank: I'm using rope-a-dope on them. It worked, they got exhausted hurting me.
Billy: And yet you're back here.
Frank: It takes time.
Billy: You missed a golden opportunity just now.
Frank: What the hell are you talking about?
Billy: When those guards brought you back here, they took the key to your cell. You could have just grabbed them.
Frank: Okay, maybe the pain was so great I didn't notice.
Billy: Yeah, I probably missed a few opportunities. What do you say we make a deal?
Frank: I'm listening.
Billy: I thought you said you'd never ally with me again.
Frank: That was before I was tortured. We can settle up after.
Billy: Okay, my plan is simple. The next one of us six who gets dragged there, employs some rope-a-dope. We get brought back here, pretends to be too groggy to notice, then steals the guards' key. That person then frees the other five, and we all escape together. We set aside our old differences long enough to escape.
Frank: That's not a bad plan.
Billy: Clarke and Emerson came up with it together. You're the only one who hasn't signed off yet. I just want your word that you can keep your anger in check long eough to get the hell out of here.
Frank: You have my word. But once we're out, you get sixty seconds to get away from me, that's it.
Billy: That's the best I get, deal.
