I haven't touched X!Sonic in a long time… I might be rusty~

(This is where Sonamy became a real deal thing for me xD It's this show, yo)

Sitting on a tree's branch, Sonic held his head down, eyes closed, hands behind his back, and one leg up and bended slightly over the other.

He looked up with lazy eyelids slowly rising as the view he had was absolutely incredible, full of serene grace and beauty, as he smiled.

He yawned, and seemed to readjust his head, about to fall back to sleep… or at least rest a bit more after a huge battle with Eggman the day before.

"…nnic!….oooniicc!….Soonic, where are you!?"

His eyes rose up again, "Hmm?" he blinked them and looked over.

In the distance, Amy rushed over a hill, coming into view and cupping her hands over her mouth, calling his name again. "SOOONICCC THE HEEDDGGEHOOG!… oh.."

Sonic, now having his eyes fully opened, blinked in surprise at seeing her. "How'd she get way out here?" he thought, and narrowed his eyes, making a slight 'hmph!' sound as he jumped down the tree's branches.

At super sonic speeds, he raced up to where she was, and stopped cold in his tracks behind a tree, his back to it, as he leaned slightly out to see her. Smiling, he watched her to see what she wanted.

"Soooonic..!" she called again, and huffed, placing her hands on her hips, and puffing up the side of her cheek. "He said he wouldn't mind a lunch. Hmph! He could of bothered to give me a date and time…" she sighed, "That's what I get for making a picnic BEFORE I found out where he was…" she placed a hand on her head, feeling a little hopeless at the fact that she had no idea where he was, and was just trusting her gut instincts on this one.

She suddenly heard the bushes rustle and looked over, before getting a bit afraid and stepping back, pulling out her hammer, and slowly walking toward it. She twitched an eye, "I swear… if you're just trying to scare me.." she parted the bush.

An ugly looking bullfrog ribbited, and leaped onto her face, hitting her back as she fell on the ground, and it hopped it away.

Her eyes teared up as she feared her face was now disgusting. "All I wanted was to share a picnic with him…" she admitted, whining it out as she had dirt all over her face.

As her body shivered with her trying to restrain tears at not finding Sonic, a warm hand graced her vision and started wiping the dirt off her face.

"Ah..!Oh..?" she was surprised at first, but then looked curiously up behind her.

"Heh, you look filthy." Sonic smiled down to her, as he got all the dirt off her face. "Looking for something?"

It took her a moment, but her tears started building up again, "S…Son.." she closed her eyes and leaped into his arms. "SOONNICC!"

"W-woah!" Sonic was knocked down and over by her, as she sobbingly rubbed her head under his own. "E-easy, Amy! Ugh… Now you're getting the dirt all over me!"

"Oh, Sonic! I searched so hard… I spent all day looking for you! I'm so glad… so glad." she seemed very emotional, as he just seemed very awkward about how close they were and how weird this situation was.

"Uh…Um.." he looked up and away for a moment, his hands up to make sure they didn't touch her below and on him, as he weakly smiled back to her with some sweat drops on the side of his face. "You were looking for me..?" he asked politely, but secretly already knew what she wanted.

"Uhh…Oh! That's right! The picnic basket!" she got up and off him as he sighed in relief, and she raced back to where she placed it down. "Ah!" she cried out, as Sonic worriedly got up and raced to her, looking down from the top of the hill. "Amy! What's wrong?!.. Ah." he saw that the basket had been squished down by one of Eggman's robots.

"Sonic!"

"Eggman!"

The typcial battle took place before he defeated Eggman's latest destructive weapon.

"This isn't over Sonic… I've still got plenty in the works!"

"And I'll make sure to get to work and trash them all, Eggface!" Sonic grinned, now THIS was his kind of day!

As Eggman retreated, Sonic happily turned around before seeing Amy's saddened face.

He hated to see her without her usual cheery smile, and quickly looked down to the basket.

"It's ruined…" she sniffed out.

"…" Sonic walked over to the basket, and opened the hatch up to show the squished sandwiches.

"…Oh?" Amy saw him pick one up, take it out of it's sealed wrapping, and bite into it.

Chewing, he swallowed, and then turned around to her, "Best sandwich I ever tasted!" he winked, and gave her a thumbs up.

She was so happy to see him enjoying it, and gave him a big open grin, before closing her eyes and mouth to nod. "I'm glad!" she happily cried out, and walked over to join him.

He pulled out a sandwich for her and handed it to her as he took another bite.

She looked it over a second, then to him, and then took a small bite out of it.

"Oh, come on, Amy." he stated.

She swallowed her food, "What?"

"Not like that, like this! Ompfh! Em, em. Lwike Twhat." he took a huge bite out of the sandwich. "Nwow ywou trwy." he encouraged her.

"Sonic… you aren't suppose to speak with your mouth open." she stuck her nose up a little high.

He leaned forward and gave her a stern look. "Hmmm…" he was almost daring her with his stare.

She jolted, "Eee! Okay, okay! I'll try it." she held her hands out to calm him down, sweating a little awkwardly as she never really ate undaintily in front of anyone before. She slowly opened her mouth, as Sonic's eyes widened.

"Owh?" he still hadn't chewed his food…

She gave him a look, before turning back to push the sandwich as far as it could in her mouth, squishing it a bit and biting down. Her cheeks were huge as she had to open her mouth a bit to really chew, and then swallowed hard. "Heeeeh….." she breathed out, and looked to Sonic, as if for approval. "You happy now?" she teased.

He beamed, "Vwery!" he stated, and ate the rest of the sandwich he had as she lost her grumpy faced attitude and smiled, happy he was enjoying himself with her.

(….Oh man, I need to write more Sonic X Sonamy RIGHT NOW lol XD)
