Sesshoumaru looked off in the correct direction even as Shishi changed course.
"Do you want fish?" asked Kohaku.
"We have plenty of meat, thanks to Sesshoumaru-sama." She peeked up at him to see if his stripes were changing. Still in the blue range. Good.
"I want to find a smooth stone." Kagome cautiously amended, "Actually, I'd like three stones."
Ever the insightful one, Kohaku caught on. "That's a good idea. I'll help."
Reading uncertainty and uneasiness in the fresh tinge of pale green, Kagome explained, "We'll make grave markers."
