Hi, it was fun collaborating with you! Tho it was impromptu. 😂 ANYWAY, I have a prompt that might be suitable for you. A sonamy prompt where Amy just suddenly goes missing without a trace, and no one knows where she is, not even the villains. Sonic's emotions, why Amy's gone, and if she comes back safely or not is totally up to you! Good Luck! Well, I'm not sure you need it, ik you'll do great! 👍😉

I loved working with you too! :D Hmmm… You know I love a worried Sonic… but a worried villain too?

Prompt:

Eggman fell back, honestly in fear of how rough Sonic was playing their dynamic fighting today.

He dashed down and pulled Eggman up by the collar of his long coat, standing perfectly upright while Eggman was completely forced onto his rear.

"What's gotten into you!? You're so… violent today!" Eggman winced his lips back to reveal his frightened white teeth, as Sonic glared down at him, clearly not taking any funny business.

"Alright. Jokes up. What's your purpose for keeping Amy for so long?"

"Huh?" His mouth relaxed and Eggman's mind starting wheeling. Grasping for understanding, he held his hands midway-up in surrender.

"I honestly haven't the slightest clue where your precious rose went! I haven't even seen Amy on my flycams in weeks! Why would I take her and then not alert you about it? What's the point? Tea time?" he shrugged, showing his honest innocence but Sonic's face held like stone.

"What do you mean, for weeks?"

"I mean what I stated!" Eggman gripped his hands, trying to swipe them off. "I haven't seen her and I really could care less!" he dipped himself further up to Sonic's face, and a stare off began…

Once Sonic trusted his words, he let him go, looking away.

"Hmph. You're really letting a loose eye wander too much with her lately, huh?" Eggman readjusted his coat, then steadied himself with his arms out to his side.

When Sonic didn't respond, his eyes clearly showing the thoughts of alternative places Amy could be, Eggman realized something horrific.

"…Did… Don't tell me she's been missing longer?"

Sonic's eyes darted up to his face, a cold reminder that he wasn't himself.

"…That is serious…" Eggman grumbled, before looking down himself.

He scratched his chin, getting up to look at some records.

"You two aren't…." he raised an eyebrow, "I mean.. the 'ceremony' wasn't all that long.." he looked over his shoulder from the computers and keys.

Sonic's face suddenly broke as he looked shocked to Eggman, mouth open, but unable t speak.

"Heh-heh. Thought I didn't know, eh? I still pester you from time to time… but no… I don't bother with your 'secret affairs'…. unless, of course, they prove useful." he smirked, but had a pretty good idea where Amy was.

"You have some right to be worried." he printed out a document and handed the coordinates over to him, seeing him stand with a hero's pride but also to not let any emotion further show.

He kept a neutral frown, clearly having not wanted Eggman to know about his secret… but he looked down to stare at the document.

"…It's a hospital record, Sonic." Eggman instructed.

Sonic looked away suddenly, his face showing some emotion now. He let out a sound before twitching his fists tighter.

"…" Eggman held a solemn look. "You may be late if you don't decide to accept this now."

"It.. It didn't happen." Sonic spoke through gritted teeth, shaking…

"…You can't deny your actions.. nor what you've done." Eggman pulled back, realizing Sonic wasn't ready for the truth.

"She may have been wise to keep it from you."

Sonic didn't speak.

Eggman got an alert from a flybot, and turned to see Amy's image on a bus.

"…You should go."

Before Eggman even needed to look behind him, he felt a sharp wind against his mustache and knew Sonic was gone.

He took a long sigh, before shaking his head, putting the document up against his hip. "Hohoho… What a silly name for a needle-spiked mouse." Eggman shook his head, before looking back at the flybot and seeing it destroyed by a blur of blue.

"Heh." he smiled.

"I suppose life must go on."

Sonic ran along the side of the bus, moving quickly with the traffic of the freeway.

Amy noticed a commotion and looked around, before out the window and gasping.

"S…Sonic…" she looked sorrowful at seeing him, realizing this must mean he knew something…

Sonic kept his eyes fixated on her through the window as if a silent beckoning he dared not act upon.

Was it betrayal he was feeling?

Did he want to know?

She took a sharp breath in, and held her hand to her heart.

What if he knew..?

She saw the pleading in his eyes and couldn't ignore it, her heart longed for him too…

She rose up and pulled the string- "STOP THE BUS!"

The bus screeched as it pulled over, and Sonic slowed down to wait outside on the road for her.

She stumbled off, nothing in her hands…

The bus drove off and they stared at each other for a while…

She piped up, tearing up her eyes from having to be the first to speak.

"You… You said you didn't want to get married… but you did!"

He kept his mouth shut.

"You said you didn't want to do it… but you did!"

He waited patiently…

"So when it happened… when I found out.. I knew you wouldn't want that either!" she dipped her head, feeling so helplessly alone.

"You… also wouldn't have wanted to know… that he didn't make it." she fell to her knees. "They had to take him away!"

Sonic bolted to her side, pulling her close as she clung to him in her tears, crying out her suffering.

"They said his lungs weren't strong enough! He was too early. I didn't want them too, but they did! They said it was a miscarriage… He wasn't developed enough, but.. what if he could have made it..? Was it my fault? I …"

Sonic let his head fall between her shoulder and neck.

She shook violently in her obvious weakness from whatever surgery they had to perform.

"I didn't want you to say you didn't want it… because out of everything you did for me… that was the one thing I couldn't bear to hear."

"…It was a good name, Amy…"

Her eyes widened, peering over his shoulder and realizing… he knew.

"…It was a very good name…"

(AU, kinda tragic, I felt in the mood XP)
