Sonic Boom Prompt: Shadow and Amy interaction? OwO

cutegirlmayra answered:

Ohh~ as in… with cute moments or just regularly talking?

Well, I'll do a little of both. hint at something cute XP meh. You people need to be a tad more specific XD

(Besties~)

The gang is separated as Amy is, yet again, captured. But not by her own fault this time,… Shadow is stuck with her too, as he ended up distracting her from fleeing with her friends.

She had seen Shadow go down, and being the last to run, she tried to save him, but was ultimately captured too. So… okay, a little bit her fault. (Curse that beautiful kind heart! XP)

By the time the gang noticed her absence, it was already too late.

Bent on saving her, the gang go to find Lyric and where ever he caged her, but sharing a block with a 'supposed' enemy is not very comfortable for poor Amy Rose…

She stood with her arms folded, her back facing Shadow, as he examined the bars before him, kneeling down after shaking them a bit, and holding a hand up to his chin.

"…." Amy was pouting and glaring, before taking a peek over her shoulder and softening her expression to curiosity, as she watched the other hedgehog and didn't really know what to make of him. "You know, I did try to save your life." she threw her arms to her hips, leaning slightly back as to grab his attention, but to no avail, as he barely moved his head to her.

"A foolish choice. Seeing as it got you trapped with no way out. Some rescue plan." he commented.

"Ah! Why you-! You could be thankful, you know! I barely know you and I was willing to try and help you out, and this is how you treat me? Hmph." she turned around, offended, before puffing up her cheek and folding her arms again. "If that's how you talk to people just trying to save your sorry bum then it's no wonder you're alone and don't have any friends."

He banged his fist on the bars, making a very sharp metallic echo as she flinched and looked over to him. "I never asked for your help." he stated, only slightly looking over to her in the corner of his eye. "Now, if you want to be of use, help me in find a way out of-"

He hadn't even finished talking when Amy rushed up and rammed her hammer into the bars, loosening them from the ground, and denting them out. She then pushed her hammer through a crack and pulled up, making the bottom of the cell break off and allow her to simply toss the bars aside and onto the ground.

He stared, trying not to gawk but just looked amazed and surprised as he looked to see her lean on the end of her hammer.

"Now, you're gonna treat me nicer and help get me back to my friends and sabotage Lyric's plans, alright?" she grinned fakely before dropping the act and walking out.

"…You could of done that all along?" he grumbled, following her out.

"Hey, I needed information." she stated. "You don't seem to be one of Lyric's or Eggman's goons, so who are you anyway?"

He rushed by her, "Hey!"

"You should of kept me in there longer if you had more unanswered questions!" he replied back to her, already half way down the hall and attacking Lyric's robot army.

"..Ah…Well… Hmph! That's the second time today you've made me mad!" she let out her anger and swung her hammer on some robots he had missed.

he landed and looked around, seeming to try and find a way out. "I'm only stating you acted too soon. And besides, it's the second time you've surprised me." he turned back and smiled to her, showing he wasn't an enemy, as she looked pretty amazed and puzzled by his strange compliment, and tilted her head.

"You know, I think that's the first time I've seen you smile.." she stated.

Shadow looked down to the side of him and closed his eyes, still smiling, and finding her humorous. He then turned back to a serious face and charged down the hallway to complete his own objective.

"Annnnd it's gone." she commented, dropping her arms a bit and taking off after him. "Hey! I've still got some surprises up my sleeve! W-wait! Don't leave me here!" she ran after him, "You're suppose to be nice to me!" she flailed her free hand in the air.

"I never make such stupid promises." He replied, breaking an access point that forced a door open. "Now, let's move!"

"Wait, you mean… like… together?" she appeared beside him, smiling. "Like… friends?"

"Partners." he offered her his hand, looking grouchy about it. "In a short time agreement."

"Pfft, well, you're no fun." she shook his hand, before putting it back on her hammer and letting him go first, following behind him. "I bet that's why you don't have, and certainly won't make, any friends!"
